Turns Out Seducing the Movie Queen Can Break the Plot - Chapter 63
“What did you say?”
Her pupils contracted violently, trembling as her fingers dug deep into the sofa cushions. The sorrow in her eyes was so thick it seemed impossible to dissolve, as though she was using every ounce of strength to remain composed. Yet, cracks had already formed in her expression, revealing a trace of disbelief. Even her voice trembled uncontrollably as she spoke.
Jiang Chi felt as though an invisible hand had suddenly seized her heart, twisting and tearing at it relentlessly, the pain unbearable.
She didn’t want to see Wen Wen like this.
Inside, Jiang Chi screamed with a voice torn apart:
No.
It’s not like this.
Sister, I don’t want to break up! This isn’t what I meant!
But no matter how much she cried out, not a shred of her true feelings could surface. Her expression remained cold and merciless as she said, “I said, we’re breaking up.”
“Honestly, I didn’t expect you to be so easy to fool. A few sweet words, some cliché, overly romantic confession and you actually believed I fell for you?”
“Though, I didn’t expect this either.” Jiang Chi leaned down, patting the spotless fabric over Wen Wen’s shoulder in a gesture that could be either teasing or provoking. “Turns out you love me so much. The way you get jealous is actually kind of cute.”
“But I have no interest in playing love games with you. Starting today, we go our separate ways. We’re done!”
The words, sharp as knives, kept pouring out. Jiang Chi wanted to slap herself hard, hard enough to silence herself but she had no control over her actions.
Head held high, she turned and walked toward the door.
Her movements were controlled, but inside, she trembled uncontrollably, making her steps unsteady, as though she might collapse at any moment.
What the hell was going on? Weren’t the male and female leads already together? Hadn’t she already gained her freedom?
What was happening now?!
If the trigger to break free from the plot’s control wasn’t Su Jing and Bai Yuetong getting together, then what was the real trigger?
What should she do? What could she possibly do?!
The moment she stepped out the door, a hand seized her wrist. Before Jiang Chi could react, she was slammed against the wall of the entryway. Wen Wen pressed one arm against her collarbone while the other shut the door behind them.
“Jiang Chi, do you remember what I told you the night you confessed to me?”
I remember! I remember every word!
“I don’t. Whatever you said, whatever I said, I don’t remember any of it. Let me go! Haven’t you heard? Promises only matter in the moment they’re made.”
“Oh? Is that so?” Wen Wen remained unmoved. The sorrow on her face had long vanished, replaced by something frenzied and obsessive. “My promises have always been permanent. Whether they’re mine or ones made to me by someone I love, they never expire.”
“If you’ve forgotten, I’ll say it again.”
“You don’t remember? That’s fine. I’ll tell you again. If you still don’t remember, I’ll repeat it as many times as needed. It doesn’t matter.” Wen Wen wasn’t angry at all her lips even curled slightly. “If you truly decide to be with me, from that moment on, I will never let go. If you ever try to leave, I’ll show you with my actions, you won’t get the chance.”
“Jiang Chi, I’m taking action now.”
Bending down, Jiang Chi realized what she intended to do and immediately turned her face away. “Don’t touch me! I feel disgusted!”
In response, Wen Wen merely raised an eyebrow slightly. Originally planning just to kiss the corner of her lips, she now firmly grasped Jiang Chi’s chin, forcing her head back, and pressed her lips directly against hers.
“Mmmph! Mmmph!”
Jiang Chi struggled, so Wen Wen pinned both her hands crossed above her head with her own, locking their bodies together like two entwined snakes.
When Jiang Chi refused to open her mouth, Wen Wen unceremoniously bit her lip, making her gasp in pain. Seizing the moment, Wen Wen deepened the kiss, their tongues meeting in a deep, bloody embrace.
As usual, even though Wen Wen had initiated it, she was the first to break away, still not quite mastering the art of kissing.
The irony was that the very person who had always promised to teach her how to kiss had already proposed *breaking up.
Resting her chin on Jiang Chi’s shoulder, Wen Wen panted provocatively, “How was that, baby? Didn’t you say I tasted delicious?”
With those words, she pulled Jiang Chi toward the bedroom.
Jiang Chi resisted, but her strength was no match for Wen Wen’s. She tried to speak, only to wince as the movement tugged at her bitten lip. Still, she shouted, “Wen Wen, what are you doing? Have you lost your mind?”
Despite her words, Jiang Chi was secretly thrilled.
She wanted Wen Wen to keep her promise to leave her no chance to escape. Whatever Wen Wen intended to do to her, she was willing.
At least this way, she could see a glimmer of hope for survival.
She knew Wen Wen truly loved her and would never harm her. Wen Wen just wanted to be with her, and she wanted the same even if their way of being together was never going to be easy.
That was fine. She didn’t mind at all.
Besides, if anyone was causing harm, it was her hurting Wen Wen.
Wen Wen didn’t say a word, letting her actions speak for her.
Once inside the room, she flung Jiang Chi onto the bed and walked to a nearby cabinet. Pulling open a drawer, she retrieved a remote and pressed a button.
Jiang Chi, still recovering on the bed, tried to get up, only for the surface beneath her to suddenly sink. She looked up in shock as the bed transformed like a piece of machinery, its wooden frame morphing into cold metal.
Realizing what was happening, Jiang Chi scrambled to escape, but Wen Wen shoved her back down. Panicked, Jiang Chi looked up to see Wen Wen now standing menacingly by the bed, a metal chain in hand.
Terrified, Jiang Chi shrank toward the corner.
Wen Wen seized her ankle and dragged her forward, kneeling over her and tilting her chin up. “What’s wrong? Didn’t you say you’d let me tie you up?”
Without hesitation, she fastened one end of the chain around Jiang Chi’s wrist and the other to the metal bedframe.
Jiang Chi stared at her in disbelief. “Wen Wen, have you really lost your mind?”
Pushing her back onto the bed, Wen Wen straddled her waist and gently caressed her face, her touch lingering tenderly. “I’m not crazy. I know exactly what I’m doing, Jiang Chi.”
“I’m not crazy yet, but if you leave me, I might truly lose my mind. Whether I go mad or not depends entirely on you,” Wen Wen murmured, her cheek pressed against Jiang Chi’s chest like a devout believer. “Jiang Chi, my life is in your hands.”
The last words were spoken so softly, yet Jiang Chi heard them with perfect clarity.
Jiang Chi watched as the woman atop her sat up, her dark, gleaming eyes wide with disbelief, the look one would give a madwoman. Her expression was one of sheer terror. “You’re insane! Let me go! If you dare lay a finger on me, the Jiang family will never let you off!”
So damn sexy.
This unhinged, obsessive version of Wen Wen was unlike anything Jiang Chi had ever seen utterly intoxicating. Only Jiang Chi knew just how lethally alluring this woman was to her.
If she weren’t restrained right now, Wen Wen wouldn’t be the one sitting on top of her.
If she had free rein, Wen Wen wouldn’t be able to get out of bed tomorrow, no matter how much she begged. It would only excite Jiang Chi more. Tonight would be sleepless.
“Darling, don’t threaten me with family power. You know perfectly well that the Wen family is more than a match for the Jiangs.”
Jiang Chi wanted to say more, but Wen Wen pressed a finger to her lips. “Shh. Didn’t you say you felt disgusted?”
“Now, let big sister help you with some desensitization therapy, okay?”
As she spoke, Wen Wen slowly trailed her hand upward, fingers brushing the top button of Jiang Chi’s shirt before methodically undoing each one.
This assertive, gradually exposed Wen Wen everything was unfolding perfectly. The only problem was how agonizingly slow she was being. Jiang Chi’s impatience burned inside, though on the surface, it manifested as frantic resistance. She yanked hard at the chains binding her wrists, the metallic clang ringing out as she hissed in pain yet still, she spat venom. “You sick freak! Get the hell off me!”
If she could, Jiang Chi would slap herself silly for ruining the moment with such nonsense. But she knew that even if she asked Wen Wen to do it, Wen Wen would never bring herself to hurt her.
Like now, just the slightest strain on her wrist, and Wen Wen’s brows knitted in distress.
Wen Wen took her wrist, examining it carefully. “Does it hurt?”
Jiang Chi barely felt a thing, just a faint tug, thanks to the plush padding around the cuffs, designed to keep her perfectly comfortable.
Compared to the negligible pain, Jiang Chi was far more preoccupied with the tantalizing view before her.
She wanted to taste, to mark, to hear Wen Wen whimper and plead.
But the next second, her free hand shoved Wen Wen off her entirely. “Spare me the fake concern. If you really cared, you’d let me go!”
Never had Jiang Chi hated herself more than in this moment.
Fortunately, her defiance didn’t anger Wen Wen. Instead, the woman calmly shed the rest of her clothes before retrieving three more chains…
Jiang Chi struggled violently, the chains clanging against the iron bed frame. “What are you doing?! I’m warning you! You’d better let me go now, or I’ll never forgive you!”
Wen Wen ignored her protests, securing her limbs before sitting back astride her waist. “Since I’ve decided to do this,” she said slowly, “I’ll accept whatever consequences come.”
“You can do whatever you want to me, Jiang Chi, but you can’t leave me.”
“Be a good puppy and don’t struggle. If you get hurt, sister will feel heartbroken.”
When force didn’t work, Jiang Chi changed tactics, whining, “Good sister, if you’d feel heartbroken, then let me go, okay? It hurts so much…” She contorted her face in exaggerated pain.
Wen Wen chuckled, tapping her nose playfully. “Lying puppies aren’t obedient.”
“The materials on these cuffs are the best anti-tear, anti-friction ones sister could find, they’ll protect you perfectly.”
“If you behave, sister promises it won’t hurt at all. In fact, it’ll feel very good. Okay?” Her words sought consent, but her actions showed no such courtesy as her hand slipped beneath Jiang Chi’s clothes…
Jiang Chi thrashed like a fish on a chopping board, utterly trapped. “Don’t disgust me! Get off me right now!”
Fingertips had already reached their peak when Jiang Chi shouted. Wen Wen paused briefly, a flicker of confusion crossing her face before her radiant smile returned. “Darling, you’ve always enjoyed this, haven’t you?”
“Besides, there’s nothing awkward or strange about our relationship. It’s completely normal, just like any other love in this world.”
“Be good, baby. If you make sister angry, it might hurt a little.”
“Ugh!” Jiang Chi kept struggling defiantly. “Don’t force your twisted ideas on me! What relationship?! We have no relationship at all!”
Sister, why don’t you just knock me out?
Jiang Chi mentally suggested to Wen Wen.
She wasn’t afraid of how harsh Wen Wen might be in fact, she almost welcomed it. What terrified her was that Wen Wen might actually be provoked by her words and abandon her.
“How can you say we have no relationship, darling?” Wen Wen’s breath ghosted over Jiang Chi’s face. “We’re lovers. As for those two words you mentioned earlier, forget it. I’ll never agree.”
“My stance remains: I won’t let you escape me. You belong to me.”
Jiang Chi wanted to retort, but Wen Wen’s next actions stole her voice.
“Does it feel good, baby?” Wen Wen murmured.
“Disgusting,” Jiang Chi spat through gritted teeth.
As if obsessed with this question, Wen Wen always asked it when Jiang Chi was most overwhelmed. Jiang Chi longed to say, It feels amazing, sister, you’re the best in the world…
But her responses never varied beyond “disgusting,” “get lost,” or “pervert”…
Jiang Chi hadn’t expected that even without her participation, this would still be a sleepless night.
At dawn’s first light, Wen Wen asked once more: “Darling, did it really not feel good?”
Jiang Chi’s reply rang out clear as ever: “Screw you!”
Throughout the journey, Jiang Chi wore an expression of disgust. Wen Wen turned off the lights in the room, where only a thin layer of curtains was drawn. The morning light streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and Wen Wen, bathed in that glow, stared unblinkingly at the person before her. Suddenly, she curved her lips into a smile, her voice slightly hoarse: “Seems my baby is still full of energy. In that case, let’s keep playing.”
“We have plenty of time today.”
She immediately picked up her phone, made a call, and said, “I won’t be coming to work today. Don’t disturb me unless it’s urgent.”
Jiang Chi’s outward reaction: …
Inner thoughts: She’s skipping work for me!
From dawn till dusk, Jiang Chi finally relented, closing her eyes as if she no longer had the strength to speak.
Wen Wen lay atop her, equally exhausted, yet still managed to lift a hand and tap her chin, speaking slowly: “Chi Chi, since you were so eager to provoke me, you should be prepared to be entangled with me for a lifetime.”
“I’ll never let you leave.”
“Rest now.”
For the next few days, Wen Wen went to work during the day while Jiang Chi stayed at home, free to move around but not allowed to leave. Three meals a day were prepared by the bodyguards at the door.
Day after day, Wen Wen never knew what would fly toward her when she opened the door or what harsh words would greet her ears. But she didn’t care. If this brought Jiang Chi some comfort, she was willing to endure it.
Her promise to bear any consequence wasn’t just empty words.
Jiang Chi could tell that while Wen Wen appeared indifferent on the surface, she was suffering inside. Yet, there was nothing Jiang Chi could do. The control over her body never loosened every action, every word was beyond her command.
Staying here, her life was absolutely safe. The plot’s control couldn’t help her leap from a high-rise, nor could she go out to reconcile with Su Jing or, by extension, cause trouble for Bai Yuetong.
She wouldn’t harm anyone except the one she loved most.
The most terrifying part was that she didn’t know if this control would ever fully release her. She had no clue how to break free from the plot’s grip, nor did she know how much longer she’d have to hurt Wen Wen.
And so, they lived like this clashing during the day, sharing a bed but not dreams at night in this awkward, strange “cohabitation.”
Until one evening, Wen Wen returned home reeking of alcohol.
