Turns Out Seducing the Movie Queen Can Break the Plot - Chapter 28.2
Wen Wen nodded, then gestured toward the camera with her chin: “Director Xu, can we rent the crew’s camera?”
Director Xu understood: “Sure, 100 yuan for five hours.”
Wen Wen: “Then we’ll rent it for 60 yuan for three hours.”
Director Xu wagged his finger: “No can do. The rule is strictly 100 yuan for five hours.”
Wen Wen: “Rules are rigid, but people are flexible, aren’t they?”
Director Xu: “But rules are made by people, aren’t they? You could return some of the items to make up 100 yuan. For example, this headlamp is exactly 20 yuan.”
As he reached to take the headlamp, Wen Wen immediately pressed it down: “Not this one.”
Director Xu was puzzled: “Why not? Although we’ll be staying overnight on the mountain, we’ll have light sources provided in the main environment, so there’s no need to worry.”
Jiang Chi looked at the headlamp that had been pressed down and suddenly realized something did Wen Wen know she was afraid of the dark?
Thinking back carefully, during their first night sharing a bed when she wanted Wen Wen to leave the light on, the latter had understood before she even finished speaking. At the time, she’d been too sleepy to think much of it, but now it seemed Wen Wen did indeed know about her fear of darkness.
How would Wen Wen know?
After being kidnapped for 48 hours as a child, she’d spent over 36 hours in pitch-black darkness, which left her with this phobia. But such things should only be known by her family members.
Even if Wen Wen knew, why would she be so considerate? So considerate that, she’d picked the headlamp first when selecting items earlier.
A sharp pain suddenly flashed through Jiang Chi’s brain, causing her whole body to stagger uncontrollably. Fortunately, she managed to brace herself against the table in time to avoid collapsing completely.
Noticing her unusual state, Wen Wen immediately reached out to steady her: “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”
Her head throbbed as if pierced by needles. Jiang Chi pressed her palm hard against her forehead and shook her head until the stabbing pain gradually subsided.
“A headache?” Wen Wen looked at her with concern.
“It’s nothing.” Jiang Chi lowered her hand and smiled at Wen Wen. “Just a sudden dizzy spell.”
“Really nothing?” Wen Wen frowned. Her condition just now clearly wasn’t just simple dizziness.
But observing Jiang Chi now, she did seem perfectly fine.
Suppressing the strange feeling in her heart, Jiang Chi took Wen Wen’s hand and nuzzled her palm. “Really, don’t worry.”
Wen Wen withdrew her hand, letting it hang by her side as she secretly clenched it to dispel the tingling sensation.
Just as she was about to continue bargaining with Director Xu, Jiang Chi spoke first: “Sister, maybe we don’t need to buy this headlamp right now. We can buy it later after we’ve earned some money. I believe you’ll make enough to buy everything here!”
They say love blinds. Today, Wen Wen truly understood the truth and power behind those words. She prided herself on being rational, yet she hadn’t even considered they could buy it after going up the mountain.
All she’d thought about was that Jiang Chi couldn’t sleep without light at night.
With a self-deprecating smile, she told Director Xu, “Then we’ll leave this headlamp for now.”
After settling the bill, the two found the nearest restroom. Wen Wen handed Jiang Chi a set of quick-dry clothes. “Change into these.”
Jiang Chi obediently took them.
Wen Wen added, “We’ll meet at the entrance.”
With that, she entered a stall. Just as she was about to close the door, a hand suddenly blocked it. Before she could react, another hand pressed against the small of her back, pushing her inside.
Click, the stall door locked.
Wen Wen processed this for a second. “What are you doing?”
“Sister, let’s change together.”
Jiang Chi had observed earlier that each stall was only about 1.5 meters wide. The slightest misstep would put them outside the safe distance.
She didn’t want to take that risk.
“Why? There are plenty of empty stalls, aren’t there?”
Jiang Chi didn’t blush or falter: “There aren’t any left. A bunch of people suddenly came in and took all the changing rooms.”
Wen Wen listened carefully, there wasn’t even a single footstep outside.
“Big sister~ What’s the matter? We’re both girls. What you have, I have, we both have it all. And this space is plenty big enough—let’s change together.”
Wen Wen replied, “Do you like this changing room? Then you stay here. I’ll find another one.”
“No.” Jiang Chi firmly blocked the door, narrowing her eyes slightly as she gazed at the person before her. “Big sister, could it be, you’re shy?”
“I’m not.” Wen Wen turned her head away, avoiding her gaze, and said calmly, “It’s just that two people in one space feels too stuffy.”
Jiang Chi’s eyes drifted to Wen Wen’s earlobe, and she reached out to pinch it lightly. “Big sister, this reaction doesn’t seem to match what you’re saying.”
Wen Wen pushed her hand away. “Let me out.”
“No.” Jiang Chi placed both hands on Wen Wen’s shoulders and turned her around so her back was facing her. “Don’t be shy. If we stand back-to-back, neither of us will see anything. Be good, big sister, let’s just change like this.”
A sudden impulse surged through Wen Wen. Taking a silent deep breath with her back to Jiang Chi, she thought to herself, I gave you a chance.
She turned around, her expression now relaxed. “Since you’re so eager to change together, why don’t we just face each other while we do it? After all, what you have, I have, we both have it all, right?” Without waiting for Jiang Chi’s response, she unzipped her jacket and began undressing at a leisurely pace.
Wen Wen was dressed casually that day—a simple, elegant white T-shirt under her jacket, paired with loose cargo pants. After hanging her jacket on the side, her hands moved to the hem of her T-shirt. Just as she was about to lift it, two hands pressed down on her arms.
Jiang Chi swallowed hard, quickly turning her back to Wen Wen. Licking her lips, she spoke, her throat dry. “Big sister, I think everyone deserves a little privacy. I’ll leave right now.”
Click, the lock turned. Click, it locked again.
Wen Wen leaned forward, pressing against Jiang Chi’s back. One hand rested on her waist while the other covered the hand trying to unlock the door. Resting her chin on Jiang Chi’s shoulder, she executed all these movements in one fluid motion, her voice whispering silkily by her ear: “What’s wrong? Didn’t you say we should change together? That what you have, I have, we both have it all? Are you shy now?”
The moment Wen Wen’s soft warmth pressed against her back, Jiang Chi felt something explode in her head, a boom that left her body tingling and weak. Before she could react, a cool sensation brushed her waist, followed by a warm hand gliding upward. She grabbed the mischievous hand, leaning her forehead against the door for support as her legs trembled. “Big sister, I was wrong.”
“Oh?” Wen Wen’s breath teased her neck as the hand at her waist broke free, wandering higher. “What was Chi wrong about?”
Jiang Chi hunched slightly, her mind now a swirling, overheating mess, incapable of coherent thought. “I was wrong for coming in here.”
Struggling to control her increasingly ragged breathing, she pleaded, “Good sister, spare me.”
“Oh? Doesn’t Chichi want this? Didn’t you say you wanted to touch your sister earlier? Your sister has never experienced being touched before. Why don’t you try it first for your sister and tell her how it feels?”
Without waiting for a response, her hand claimed that lofty peak, fingers teasing the monument upon its summit.
“So, how does it feel, Chichi?”
The voice ringing in her ears seemed like the call of a mountain sprite, making Jiang Chi feel as though her soul was trembling. “Comfortable.” Her fingertips scraped against the door with a harsh sound. Gasping lightly, Jiang Chi held her breath, regaining some clarity as she pressed down the mischievous hand roaming over her with her other hand. “Sis… sis, let me go.”
“Let you go?” Wen Wen pretended not to understand her implication. “Does Chi Chi mean I’m bullying her right now?”
“But didn’t Chi Chi just say it felt good?”
Wen Wen pulled away the hand restraining her, coaxing softly, “I helped Chi Chi put on her coat earlier. Let me help you change, okay?”
“N-no! Sis, it feels really weird.” Jiang Chi tilted her head slightly, the corners of her eyes flushed red. “So, please let me go.”
Weird…
Those two simple words snapped Wen Wen out of her daze. She released Jiang Chi, opened the door, and pushed her out. “Go change in another stall. Hurry up.”
With that, she shut the door firmly.
Leaning against the door, Wen Wen took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. Her hands, braced against the wood, clenched into fists, nails digging into her palms yet she seemed to feel no pain at all.
She’d gone too far again.
It was as if the moment she started, her rationality dropped to zero, turning her into some primal beast.
Would Jiang Chi think she was a pervert?
What should she do?
Her mind felt like a pot of burnt porridge, utterly incapable of coherent thought.
Just then, a knock sounded on the door, the vibrations snapping Wen Wen back to reality. She stared blankly at the door in front of her.
Jiang Chi’s worried voice came from the other side. “Sis, are you done changing? Are you okay?”
She hadn’t run away.
She hadn’t fled, treating her like some freak.
The heart suspended in midair finally settled back into place. Wen Wen exhaled and replied, “Just a moment.”
As soon as she opened the door, she saw Jiang Chi, already fully dressed, standing by the door, gazing at her with pitiful eyes. “Sis, are you okay? I’m sorry, I was too reckless earlier. Please don’t be mad at me, okay?”
Her outstretched hand lifted slightly before dropping, as if wanting to reach for her but not daring to.
Noticing the faint red marks left on Jiang Chi’s fair arm, Wen Wen narrowed her eyes. Just the sight of those traces was enough to show how out of control she’d been.
Even after she’d done something so excessive, Jiang Chi was the one worrying if she was angry?
Though she knew Jiang Chi’s apology wasn’t for the same thing she felt guilty about, the fact remained, how could she not be upset? It only made Wen Wen want to tease her even more.
“Sis.” When Wen Wen remained silent, Jiang Chi called out again, her expression growing even more aggrieved, like a puppy afraid of being abandoned by its owner.
Wen Wen studied her anxious little puppy with half-lidded eyes, then grabbed her wrist and pulled her back into the stall.
Click, the lock engaged.
