Transmigrated into the Scumbag Ex-Wife of the Prime Minister - Chapter 111.2
Now that they were officially married wives, Qi Nan couldn’t help but have some thoughts of intimacy.
Liu Yun was not an innocent young maiden and immediately read Qi Nan’s thoughts in her eyes, also feeling a wave of shyness.
Her beautiful eyes, filled with shyness, made her even more lovable. Qi Nan stepped forward and embraced Liu Yun, holding her tightly.
“Sister Yun, we’re married.” Her tone was uplifted, her voice filled with an indescribable contentment.
Liu Yun’s eyes softened. She raised her arms to circle his waist and softly responded in his embrace, “Mhm, we’re married.”
Qi Nan held her for a long time without making any further move. Liu Yun smiled inwardly, knowing that she was overcome by shyness again.
Since confirming their relationship, Qi Nan had not dared any intimate actions beyond holding Liu Yun’s hand.
Liu Yun knew that Qi Nan wasn’t unwilling, but just too honest and embarrassed.
It was just like how Qi Nan had a large appetite and needed at least five sugar buns to be full for one meal, yet before they opened up to each other, she would always eat only half full at home and then come to the county town to eat with Liu Yun.
Fortunately, their wedding date was quite near, so Liu Yun didn’t worry too much, thinking it was best to let things happen naturally.
Being reserved before was one thing, but now that they were married, they shouldn’t be too distant. Liu Yun raised her head from Qi Nan’s embrace and gently pushed her shoulders.
“It’s getting late. We should rest.”
“Oh, okay.” Qi Nan, blushing, reluctantly let go of Liu Yun. She lowered her head and turned to blow out the candles in the room.
“Xiao Nan, the red candles for the wedding night cannot be blown out,” Liu Yun saw through her intention and held her hand, chuckling.
“Oh, okay.” Qi Nan was stunned and quickly replied, “Th-then, let’s go to bed early.”
Lifting the quilt to let Liu Yun lie down first, Qi Nan followed onto the bed, about to lie down.
Liu Yun called out to her softly again, “Xiao Nan, draw the bed curtains.”
“Oh, okay.” Qi Nan immediately knelt up, unhooked the fasteners on both sides, and let down the curtains.
Inside the large red canopy, the candlelight was mostly shielded, creating a dim, ambiguous, and hazy atmosphere.
Qi Nan’s heart pounded. She lay down stiffly. After lying straight for a while, there was warm body heat beside her, and her breathing was filled with the sweet scent of peach blossoms.
She took a deep breath before daring to turn and face Liu Yun.
The moment she turned, she saw Liu Yun’s apricot eyes, filled with a gentle smile and soft affection, making her feel as if she were basking in a spring breeze.
A hint of desire welled up in her eyes. Qi Nan boldly leaned closer to her and held Liu Yun’s hand under the quilt.
“Sister Yun.” Her voice was hoarse, suppressing the surging love she felt.
Liu Yun propped herself up, caressed her cheek, and, going against her usual reserved nature, actively leaned in.
The warmth on her lips was the most potent encouragement. Qi Nan raised her arms to wrap around Liu Yun’s waist, flipped over, and pinned her down.
This was Qi Nan’s first intimate experience; she was cautious and clumsy yet passionately fiery, lingering between Liu Yun’s lips and teeth, reluctant to leave. Liu Yun was a little breathless from the kisses and gently guided her to find a rhythm.
After kissing for a good while, Liu Yun realized that the person in front of her not only didn’t know how to kiss but probably also didn’t know what came next.
Distracted, she took Qi Nan’s hand and led it to the place it should go.
Three Years Later.
Qi Nan finished work at the winery and went to the wine shop’s new store to pick up Liu Yun.
“Master Qi is here.”
“Master Qi.”
“Sister Nan.”
The helpers at the wine shop greeted her one after another. Qi Nan smiled and asked them, “Is my wife upstairs?”
In three years, the wine shop bought a new store, and Liu Yun became the manager of the new store. She didn’t have to pour wine every day but had to check the accounts for both the wine shop and the winery daily.
Arriving on the second floor, Qi Nan knocked on the door and called Liu Yun’s name before entering.
Upon entering, Qi Nan didn’t see Liu Yun at the large desk but noticed her leaning back and resting on the small couch by the side.
“You’re here.” A smile blossomed on Liu Yun’s lips, and she propped herself up on her arm to sit up from the couch.
Qi Nan quickly stepped forward to support her. “Why are you resting? Are you feeling unwell again?”
Liu Yun’s appetite had been poor these two days, and it happened to be the change of seasons, so Qi Nan was worried she might have caught a cold.
“Let’s go to the clinic to have a look. Are you sick?” Qi Nan helped her sit up, bent down to take her shoes and put them by the couch, worrying, “Did you barely eat lunch again? How about we skip eating at home tonight and go to Xiaofang Eatery for your favorite bamboo shoot and meat shaomai?”
“The weather’s changing these days, you need to wear an extra layer when you go out.” As Qi Nan spoke, she helped her put on her shoes. “These shoes are also a bit thin. Let’s go buy some material later and have two thick pairs made for you.”
Liu Yun listened to her rambling, squinted her eyes, put her arms around Qi Nan’s neck, and half-leaned on her back.
“Come on, let’s go to the clinic first to check.” Qi Nan put on her shoes and was about to stand up.
Liu Yun clung to her neck, not letting go. She pulled her back down and said softly, “No need to go to the clinic.”
Qi Nan turned her head. The frown that had eased since entering the room returned, and her voice dropped slightly. “No avoiding seeing a doctor. You’ve been uncomfortable for several days now.”
“I’m not sick.” Liu Yun smiled, cupped her face, and rubbed it. “You’re going to be a mother.”
“What?!” Qi Nan’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe what she had heard. It took her a long moment to realize what Liu Yun meant.
Liu Yun’s health was poor, and the winery was too busy. They hadn’t discussed having children in the first two years of their marriage. When the Mistress asked once during the New Year, Qi Nan had told her that they would wait a couple of years until her apprentice graduated and she had free time to give birth.
At the time, she hadn’t noticed anything amiss with Liu Yun. Qi Nan had always assumed the child would be born by her, yet this person had secretly taken fertility medicine without telling her.
“When did this start?” Qi Nan asked with a stern face.
It had been almost half a year since the New Year. If Liu Yun was only just pregnant now, it meant her body hadn’t fully recovered.
They had been married for three years, and Qi Nan had never given her a cold look, let alone said a harsh word.
Liu Yun knew perfectly well that Qi Nan was worried about her health. She leaned in and gave Qi Nan a kiss on the cheek to appease her. “Don’t be unhappy.”
Qi Nan’s expression softened, and her tone softened as well. “Why didn’t you discuss such a major thing with me? Besides, didn’t we agree that I would be the one to give birth? Your body…”
“It’s fine, it’s fine, it’s completely healed.” Liu Yun quickly answered. “I saw the doctor in the first lunar month. The doctor said my body was fully recovered. Then I took tonic medicine for two months, and only started taking the fertility medicine in April. I got pregnant right after taking it.”
As for why she didn’t discuss it with Qi Nan beforehand, it was mainly because she was afraid Qi Nan would disagree.
She felt a little guilty about the loss of their previous child, so this time, she still wanted to be the one to give birth.
“Really?” Qi Nan asked skeptically.
Liu Yun nodded. “Really. The doctor said my health is great, my pulse is good, and the baby is also very good.”
Since getting together with Qi Nan, she hadn’t done any heavy labor. Coupled with being the manager, she had much more leisure time. Over the past two years, Liu Yun had gained a fair bit of weight, and her health had fully recovered to that of a normal person.
Seeing Qi Nan’s expression relax, Liu Yun struck while the iron was hot and changed the subject. “Do you want to feel our baby?”
After worrying about the adult, Qi Nan remembered that she was going to be a mother. Her eyes suddenly lit up. As joy surged in her heart, her hand felt hesitant.
“C-can we feel it, r-right now?” Qi Nan stared at her abdomen, completely at a loss.
Liu Yun smiled, took her hand, and placed it on her belly.
Obviously, a pregnancy of just over a month couldn’t be felt by touch, but Qi Nan’s entire heart felt warm and full.
Liu Yun was pregnant with their child; she was going to be a mother too.
Since Liu Yun became pregnant, Qi Nan didn’t let her do any chores around the house. If it weren’t for the fact that the wine shop manager couldn’t quit, Qi Nan would have preferred Liu Yun to lie in bed and rest every day.
Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and Liu Yun gave birth to the child without much suffering.
Only then did Qi Nan’s constantly anxious heart finally settle down securely.
Another Three Years Later.
In front of the large residential gate, Liu Yun, wearing a long dress, stepped out. The moment her foot touched the ground, a toddler with braided pigtails hugged her calf.
“A-Niang, A-Niang, hug me.” The toddler clung to her leg, trying to climb up.
Liu Yun smiled and bent down. Before her hand could even touch her, the toddler was scooped up by a pair of large hands from behind.
Qi Nan held her daughter in her arms and said sternly, “You’re too heavy now; you can’t let A-Niang carry you.”
In Qi Nan’s eyes, carrying a three-year-old toddler was also heavy labor.
The toddler pouted, looking pitifully at her A-Niang.
Liu Yun linked her arm through Qi Nan’s and gave her daughter a gentle, apologetic smile.
Having been pampered by Qi Nan for over six years, her strength had indeed diminished considerably, and she really couldn’t lift her three-year-old daughter easily.
Of course, she attributed this to her daughter being too chubby.
The family walked away, laughing and chatting. Not until they turned out of the alley did Lu Yu sadly withdraw her lingering gaze.
“I told you long ago she’s married, has a child, and is living happily. But you insisted on coming to see for yourself, seeking pain,” said the woman standing behind Lu Yu with her arms crossed, her tone mocking.
Lu Yu ignored her and simply turned to walk in another direction.
“Hey! Where are you going?” The woman turned and chased after her. “I’m telling you, don’t do anything drastic! There are thousands of women in Xiliang; there’s no need to hang yourself on one tree.”
“Seriously, Liu Yun’s looks aren’t even that…”
Lu Yu stopped and gave her a cold side glance.
The woman immediately nodded and made a silencing gesture.
Lu Yu walked on, and the woman followed her again. “Where are you headed?”
“Back to Lizhou.”
The woman’s eyes curved into a smile. “Great! I also think Lizhou is much better than this Binhe County. Of course, the women in our Lizhou are much more beautiful than those in Binhe County too!”
