“That is correct, I am Su Youqi,” Su Youqi replied with a bright smile, stepping across the threshold with his bags.

He took a quick, appraising look at his new roommate. The young man possessed clean, sharp facial features, a calm and collected demeanor, and an aura of quiet intelligence. Unlike the loud, obnoxious bullies from his previous room, this person felt refreshing and grounded.

“My name is Lin Jingsheng,” the roommate introduced himself politely, standing up to help carry one of the lighter bags. “Glad to have you here. The other two roommates are currently out, but they are both easy to get along with. You do not have to worry about any trouble in this room.”

“Thank you, Jingsheng. I appreciate that,” Su Youqi said, feeling quite pleased with the arrangement.

The dorm room was neat and spacious, completely opposite to the chaotic mess he had just left behind. Setting his things down by the designated bed space, Su Youqi felt a genuine sense of a fresh start. Between getting his revenge on his former roommates, securing his mother’s jade pendant, and crossing paths with the soul fragment of his future ghost-marriage husband all in one morning, his transmigration life was certainly turning out eventful.

As Su Youqi began organizing his newly purchased daily necessities, Lin Jingsheng returned to his desk to finish his assignment, occasionally glancing over with a friendly curiosity.
