Transmigrated into a Trashy A and Ended Up with My Grudge-filled Best Friend and My Own CP - Chapter 76.2
[They confined me in this pitch-black place, leaving me to rot and perish. Fortunately, there was a water source next to the basement, which could sustain my life for a short while.]
[Stellar Year 306, June 1, Sunny Weather,
My entire body has begun to fester, the side effects of the experiment manifesting on me.
Dear heavens! If this is retribution, then let it fall upon my head alone.
I can’t hold on any longer. If anyone sees this, I hope they can stop all of this from happening.]
Dried black bloodstains marred this page, obscuring the original handwriting, though the words could still be faintly discerned.
This was Shen Chang’an’s final entry.
[Goodbye, A’Le.]
Most of the mystery had been unraveled. The creator of the human experimentation lab was Old Lady Ding, and Zong Jia was almost certainly on Planet AR5 in the Second Star System. With this in mind, Ding Moyan had already begun using the System Panel to search for routes to this planet.
The panel displayed a red route.
Routes were divided into two types: red, indicating a dangerous zone, and blue, indicating a normal zone.
Red zones were areas without Empire-authorized public interstellar ships only private vessels could be used. Private interstellar ships generally required registration, and across the entire Empire, there were no more than ten such machines.
As luck would have it, the original body’s cheap father had one, but she couldn’t use it.
Old Lady Ding was truly ruthless. Who knew if the Ding family head was in cahoots with her? If Ding Moyan rushed to borrow a ship, she’d be delivering herself to her doom.
Ding Moyan frowned, veins throbbing on her forehead. The System Panel didn’t record this information, and aside from the Ding family head, she had no idea who else might possess such a vessel.
Beside her, Ying Shu calmly took a few photos, then took the notebook from Ding Moyan’s hands and placed it in a sealed bag, saying, “Hand it over to the police.”
“Do you have a ship?” Ding Moyan asked bluntly.
“My ship has internal issues and is currently under repair at the maintenance department.”
Ying Shu added, “But I recall Zong Jia might have one. You could try borrowing it from the Zong family.”
This was a good idea. Ding Moyan’s eyes lit up, she was confident she could secure it.
“Of course, I wouldn’t advise you to go to Zong Jia alone. Even she, an S-rank, was helpless against capture. Are you sure you want to charge in solo? Be careful not to get yourself killed.”
Her tone dropped abruptly. The pitch-black basement was illuminated only by the dim glow of two phone lights, casting eerie shadows on her delicate yet sinister face.
Ying Shu said, “You’d be better off waiting for police backup.”
Ying Shu’s words were a sobering reminder, temporarily dissuading Ding Moyan from her plan to confront Zong Jia alone. Ying Shu was right Ding Moyan knew she wasn’t capable enough, and going alone would be a surefire way to get herself killed.
“We’ve been here nearly ten minutes. Let’s go,” Ying Shu urged.
Ding Moyan nodded.
As they were leaving, Ding Moyan accidentally stepped on a loose brick. It sank underfoot, triggering a blaring alarm.
Ding Moyan: “Shit!”
“Run!” Ying Shu reacted swiftly, grabbing Ding Moyan’s hand and pulling her out, barely escaping before the bookshelf sealed shut.
Hearing the approaching footsteps outside, Ying Shu led Ding Moyan over a large rock, scaling the wall to flee.
For an Omega, her grip was astonishingly strong, she hauled Ding Moyan by the collar without even breaking a sweat.
In contrast, Ding Moyan felt like she was being strangled to death.
The two reached a secluded path before finally stopping to catch their breath.
“Tutor, next time pull my wrist instead, or I can’t breathe.” Ding Moyan adjusted her collar, rubbing her neck as she gasped for air.
After several minutes of silence with no response from Ying Shu, Ding Moyan lifted her eyelids, which she had just closed, and glanced at her.
Ying Shu’s long lashes fluttered slightly. Her chest heaved, her fair cheeks tinged with a faint blush, and beads of sweat the size of peas dotted her forehead. She tugged uncomfortably at her neatly tied necktie.
Her delicate brows furrowed in distress, her knuckles cracking as she clenched her fists.
Ying Shu cursed herself inwardly. Why now? Her heat had arrived earlier than anticipated.
Ding Moyan’s voice was unusually clear, her cool tone slipping into Ying Shu’s ear.
Her gaze drifted to Ding Moyan’s two sharp, snow-white canines. Her own gland inexplicably grew hot and itchy, a sudden urge for Ding Moyan to mark her surging forth yet she hesitated, fearing it would be too abrupt.
She prided herself on lacking morals and caring little for others’ opinions, but if Zong Jia found out, the ensuing chaos would be unbearable for everyone.
The cloyingly sweet scent of milk tea grew increasingly potent, overwhelming and unstoppable, leaving Ding Moyan, who had just steadied herself, utterly bewildered.
What the hell is this? Ying Shu’s heat had arrived.
Ying Shu’s gaze froze, bloodshot veins creeping across the whites of her eyes.
Her voice low and hoarse, she gripped Ding Moyan tightly, hot breath fanning over Ding Moyan’s ear, making her shiver reflexively.
The scent of White Lotus wafted into her nostrils. This fragrance…
Ying Shu’s pupils dilated, her brows knitting together as her breath hitched. Her expression shifted erratically, a mix of disbelief coloring her tone as she asked, “You’re an Omega?”
A terrifying sense of suffocation flooded Ding Moyan’s nasal passages like a tidal wave. Her eyes stung, her legs nearly buckling beneath her as her body reacted strangely.
Large waves of pheromones spilled uncontrollably from the back of Ding Moyan’s neck,
quickly confirming her worst fears.
Ding Moyan pressed a hand against Ying Shu’s restless arm, using the leverage to barely steady herself. Her lips, cracked and bleeding, throbbed painfully as she pressed them together.
Her throat parched, her tongue felt as though it were scorched by flames. At the same time, her appearance had become strikingly alluring, a stark contrast to her usual cool demeanor.
Ying Shu’s vision blurred whether from the pheromones’ intoxicating lure or the fire raging within her, she nearly lost all reason.
“Where did this Omega in heat come from? And it’s White Lotus scent, of all things.”
A male voice reached their ears, freezing both Ding Moyan and Ying Shu in place.
Ding Yue emerged from the woods, mere inches away, his nose catching a whiff of the White Lotus fragrance sweet and crisp, compelling enough to make his eyes glaze over with the urge to investigate further. He licked his lips.
“Whatever. You’re about to get engaged. Don’t stir up any more trouble, or even Father won’t be able to protect you,” Ding Bai sneered beside him, yanking Ding Yue’s ear in warning.
The faint trace of White Lotus Omega scent drifting from the woods reminded her of her idiot ‘sister.’ Though this White Lotus was far sweeter than her ‘sister’s’ pheromones, it still made her scowl in irritation.
Ding Bai resolved that once the engagement was over, she would immediately dismiss any Alpha or Omega servants in the main residence who carried this scent.
Ding Yue snorted in annoyance. His already foul mood from Ding Moyan’s return worsened after being scolded by Ding Bai. “Sister, you’re being too stingy,” he grumbled. “What’s the harm in taking a whiff? If an Omega dares to wantonly release pheromones, shouldn’t the Alpha just plug their nose?”
“Shut up, can’t you stop talking for once?”
As the voice faded into the distance, Ding Moyan finally allowed herself to relax.
After so long, it suddenly occurred to Ding Moyan that the original owner of this body had a terminal illness.
Pheromone Disorder Syndrome when it struck, her pheromones would transform into the alluring scent of an Omega, capable of arousing any Alpha.
But what was wrong with Ying Shu? Why had she clung to her like that?
Ding Moyan’s face twisted in discomfort, her fingers unconsciously clenching.
Having an episode here was far from ideal.
Deciding to make a clean break of it while she still had some strength left, Ding Moyan shoved the still-weak Ying Shu away and fled in panic down the long, secluded path.
The path stretched endlessly, the dense trees on either side blocking most of the light, leaving only a few golden sunbeams filtering through the branches.
Ying Shu panted heavily, rubbing her throbbing head. After injecting herself with an Inhibitor, her condition had improved somewhat at least she no longer felt feverish or weak in the knees, collapsing to the ground.
“Hey, have you seen Ding Moyan?”
Footsteps approached.
Recognizing the newcomer, Ying Shu regained her usual nonchalant demeanor, smoothing out the wrinkles in her clothes before shaking her head leisurely. “No, she’s not here.”
Ye Ye’s gaze fixed on Ying Shu’s disheveled collar. “…”
Shameless. Trying to cover it up.
Couldn’t even lie convincingly.
The strong scent of White Lotus clinging to Ying Shu made it obvious, it was Ding Moyan’s.
Fine.
She was definitely heading this way.
“What are you doing?” Ying Shu reached out to stop her.
“None of your business,” Ye Ye ground her teeth. “I need to talk to her.”
Ying Shu moved to block her, but Ye Ye shoved her aside, sending her stumbling back a few steps.
Leaning against the cold wall, Ying Shu felt the fire in her body flickering intermittently. Her Gland ached, and her pheromones threatened to spill out again. She injected another dose, quelling the rising flames, but the excessive amount of Potion left her strength drained.
Exhausted, Ying Shu closed her eyes briefly. In her current state, she couldn’t wander around aimlessly. She had no choice but to stay put, waiting for her subordinates to rescue her while she recovered her strength.
By the time Ye Ye found Ding Moyan, ten minutes had passed. She located her in the Beta women’s restroom.
After all, there was no safer place. Most of the staff at the Main residence were Alphas or Omegas, with very few Betas and even fewer Betas who could detect Alpha or Omega pheromones.
Ding Moyan crouched in one of the stalls.
Soft, trembling whimpers escaped her lips, like the pained mewls of a kitten.
The Alpha curled into a tight ball, her slender frame drenched in sweat. The hair at her temples clung damply to her skin, her eyes red at the corners, her cheeks flushed like ripe peaches in July juicy, sweet, and tantalizing.
Her delicate skin was tinged with crimson, radiating scorching heat. Her face was slick with sweat, and the pheromones diffusing from the back of her neck were maddeningly alluring.
Every expression, every movement was unbearably endearing, stirring something primal in Ye Ye. Her cells screamed in frenzy, her emotions spiraling out of control, dictating her next move.
Ye Ye’s breath hitched, her entire body thrumming with excitement.
She reached out and pulled Ding Moyan into her arms, pressing their bodies tightly together. The normal temperature of Ye Ye’s skin instantly registered the searing heat radiating from the girl.
The sweet and fragrant scent of white lotus grew even richer and more intoxicating, faintly reaching a level that could rival an Omega’s pheromones soft, delicate, and devoid of any oppressive force, making any Alpha who caught a whiff of it yearn to take a bite.
Ye Ye licked her enticingly red lips, unable to comprehend why an Alpha would emit such a cloyingly sweet Omega pheromone.
It was exactly like an Omega entering their heat period.
As an Omega herself, she naturally understood that Alphas only had sensitivity periods, which were different from an Omega’s heat. During a sensitivity period, an Alpha would become irritable and volatile, craving an Omega’s comfort not like an Omega in heat, whose entire body would grow weak, burning red like a boiled shrimp, their mouth parched, their neck Gland desperately needing an Alpha’s pheromones to soothe them.
An Omega in heat could trigger another Omega’s symptoms. Ye Ye’s breathing grew ragged as her own Gland began to burn, her Omega instincts pulling at her.
She wasn’t in heat rather, the intense invasion of Omega pheromones had passively induced an unclear reaction in her. At that moment, Ye Ye couldn’t help but deeply suspect that Ding Moyan might actually be an Omega.
An Omega disguising as an Alpha as for why, that wasn’t something Ye Ye, currently dizzy with infatuation, was thinking about.
Ye Ye had a beautiful face, but deep down, she was rotten to the core. Like a pervert, she clung to Ding Moyan, resting her head on her shoulder, her nose greedily inhaling the scent from her Gland. Her lips and teeth hovered over the small, swollen bump of the Gland, an impulse to bite down surging within her.
Her teeth lightly grazed the Gland, the slow, teasing torment sending a shudder down Ding Moyan’s spine, her soul trembling in response.
Ding Moyan’s eyes were frighteningly red, a warning of imminent danger flashing through the depths of her mind. She struggled against Ye Ye, instinctively trying to escape.
But Ye Ye noticed. Her once-clear eyes now clouded with a murky haze as she seized Ding Moyan’s flailing hands and pinned them above her head.
With a decisive motion, she leaned down, mouth open, teeth bared, and bit hard into the swollen, flushed Gland at the back of Ding Moyan’s neck hard enough to draw blood.
The taste was both bitter and sweet, sending a thrill of delight through Ye Ye’s heart, like savoring a long-awaited, forbidden fruit.
Fortunately, Ye Ye still retained a shred of rationality. She was an Omega, incapable of marking another Omega. For the first time, she felt a surge of disgust toward the gender she had always prided herself on.
Right now, they were in the Ding family’s estate in the southern district’s Fourth Hospital, a place teeming with Alphas. If Ding Moyan’s pheromones leaked out and triggered an Alpha frenzy, attracting unwanted attention, they’d be in serious trouble.
Ye Ye held her breath, resisting the urge to indulge in the intoxicating pheromones any further. Swiftly, she pulled out the Omega Inhibitor she always carried and injected it directly into Ding Moyan’s Gland.
The movement was too fast to stop. The cold liquid of the Inhibitor flooded in completely.
The Potion was absorbed quickly.
Yet, far from providing immediate relief, it only made Ding Moyan’s entire body burn hotter, her mind growing muddled, her breath scorching as it left her nose.
Dark shadows flickered in her vision, her slender fingers twitching uncontrollably.
