- Chapter 57 - Why Are You Tying Me Up?!
On the day of the camping trip, because they needed to bring quite a few things, Qin Yan specially swapped to a large RV.
Xia Mingtang looked at the RV, which was as big as the back ends of several Rolls-Royces put together, and doubted aloud, “Can this car even make it up the mountain?”
“It can.” Qin Yan began moving the camping equipment she had prepared in advance into the RV’s living area.
The car drove all the way to the foot of the lush mountain. Qin Yan gave the driver a day off and drove the vehicle herself to the campsite at the mountain peak.
This spot was very popular among camping enthusiasts. From the top, whether looking up at the stars or down at the surrounding mountains, the view was truly spectacular.
Several videos on the internet had tens of thousands of likes, all filmed at this location.
The surrounding facilities were complete, and the area was not remote at all.
To ensure privacy, Qin Yan had booked the topmost site, so she didn’t have to worry about anyone suddenly intruding and disturbing them.
Xia Mingtang, however, didn’t know this. From the mountainside upward, she barely saw another soul, only the occasional sounds of birds or animals blending with the wind, which sounded rather eerie.
“You tricked me into some deep mountain forest? There won’t be wild beasts here, right?”
Seeing Qin Yan stop the car, Xia Mingtang peeked out the window cautiously, her expression full of vigilance.
“Wild beasts? Maybe at night, so you have to stick close to me.” Qin Yan calmly began unloading the camping equipment.
“Why pick a place like this?” At first, Xia Mingtang really felt a bit intimidated, but seeing Qin Yan so composed, she realized she had been tricked.
She grabbed Qin Yan’s arm and lightly pinched, “Is it fun to scare people?”
“Yes.” Qin Yan gave her a sly smile, her expression slightly different from usual.
Xia Mingtang was stunned for a second but didn’t really get angry.
She picked up a tent pole from the ground. “I remember you bought a foldable tent before. Why is it like this now?”
“That one was too small and inconvenient.” Qin Yan, speaking as she laid out the ground mat, moved with practiced ease.
Even for camping, the space they needed was not that small for the two of them to sleep.
Xia Mingtang silently complained in her mind and glanced at the RV. “The RV’s already here. Do we really need a tent?”
Qin Yan looked at her with an eye that seemed to ask: Don’t you have any sense of romance?
Xia Mingtang felt slightly scorned and reluctantly said, “Fine, fine, if you like DIY, go ahead.”
She watched Qin Yan methodically lay out the mat and assemble the poles. It did look somewhat skillful.
Feeling bored, Xia Mingtang also started rolling up her sleeves. “Hey, let me help set up this tent.”
Hearing this, Qin Yan handed her the main body of the tent and gave her some space.
Xia Mingtang grabbed one corner of the tent and tried to fix it to the pole.
The tent was quite large. She tried to attach it to the poles, but the fabric was limp, sagging everywhere, completely uncooperative.
Looking at Qin Yan holding the other end, she vented her frustration: “Step back a little and don’t mess it up!”
Qin Yan obeyed and walked a few steps away, quietly observing without interference.
Trying to manage it alone, Xia Mingtang wished she could grow extra arms like an octopus.
She finally fixed one corner, but the other corners all collapsed.
She had to constantly readjust, becoming increasingly sweaty.
Even so, the tent in her hands remained a tangled mess.
The pampered young lady’s temper flared. She threw the tent aside in frustration.
“Forget it! Why did you buy such a troublesome thing? The foldable one before was much better.”
Qin Yan, in a good mood, picked up the tent elegantly and fixed the edges.
“You’ll see later that this one is better than the foldable one.”
Xia Mingtang didn’t comment: better at what? Torturing people?
She went back into the RV, grabbed a bag of snacks, and sat nearby as a “supervisor.”
After a while, Qin Yan finished her work and looked at her with sparkling eyes. Xia Mingtang generously fed her a strawberry snack.
The milk-scented dried strawberry touched Qin Yan’s mouth, and Xia Mingtang felt her fingers lightly licked.
She quickly withdrew her hand, pretending to scold, “If you do that again, I won’t feed you anymore.”
Qin Yan, still fixing the tent stakes, only glanced at her without doing anything else.
Seeing Qin Yan working efficiently, Xia Mingtang grew curious. “You seem so skilled. Did you camp a lot before?”
“Not often, but I did spend a month alone in the mountains, so I know some basic survival skills. And I still want more strawberry snacks.” Qin Yan’s gaze kept sliding over Xia Mingtang while her hands never paused.
Xia Mingtang tossed another snack. This time, she quickly withdrew her hand before Qin Yan could take it, keeping a serious expression.
“Alone in the mountains for a month? Sounds impressive. What were you doing there?”
Qin Yan’s eyes darkened slightly, her smile gentle. “Hiding from enemies.”
Xia Mingtang: …
What a cliché soap opera plot. No drama on TV is written like this anymore.
“Are you teasing me?” Xia Mingtang, holding a dried strawberry, playfully faked a toss and ate it herself.
“You caught me.” Qin Yan paused her work, blocked Xia Mingtang’s waist, and with her tongue, snatched the strawberry that hadn’t even been chewed yet, looking utterly satisfied.
“Tastes good.”
Xia Mingtang: !
Could someone be so aggressive about snacks?
She angrily handed the remaining strawberries to Qin Yan. “Take it all. I’m going to wash up in the RV.”
After sitting through the drive and helping with a bit of tent setup, she was already tired and a bit sore.
The RV’s bathroom was small, so washing up didn’t take long.
When Xia Mingtang came out, Qin Yan had already fully set up the tent.
It was a large, three-to-four person tent, with a cute plush mat inside.
A string of LED lights hung inside, giving both illumination and a cozy, romantic atmosphere.
Two sleeping bags were laid side by side, looking like a small double bed.
The curtains were one-way see-through, allowing them to enjoy the outside scenery without worrying about privacy.
In such a short time, the preparation was thorough, and Xia Mingtang had to admit that Qin Yan’s hands-on skills were impressive.
The only odd detail was a full-length mirror, which seemed out of place for camping. Qin Yan was clearly vain.
But this didn’t bother Xia Mingtang. She flopped onto the sleeping bag, rolling a few times and genuinely praised, “Not bad at all.”
Qin Yan placed cushions and pillows inside and kissed Xia Mingtang on the forehead.
“You rest here for a bit. I’ll clean up.”
It was only afternoon; nightfall for stargazing was still far off.
Xia Mingtang, spoiled as she was, had grown tired just from the drive and a bit of tent setup. She sprawled on the sleeping bag like a little bear, played a few games on her phone, and soon felt sleepy.
Qin Yan, after a quick wash, entered the tent holding a cardboard box and saw the little fox curled up in a cotton pajama set.
She placed the box aside and gently touched the pajama fabric. “Tired?”
“Mm.” Xia Mingtang hummed softly through her nose. “My back’s a little sore. Setting up the tent really is hard work.”
She spoke as if the entire tent had been her doing alone.
Qin Yan’s hands slid down to her exposed waist, speaking gently, “Sore? I’ll massage it for you.”
Xia Mingtang twisted slightly but didn’t resist.
The skilled fingers worked just right, spreading a tingling sensation through her body.
Xia Mingtang buried her face in the pillow, letting out soft hums of enjoyment.
Qin Yan’s massage, once experienced in the park, now had a much more teasing and seductive touch.
Xia Mingtang quickly felt a wave of electric-like shivers coursing through her.
Leaning close, Qin Yan kissed her small ear, voice seductive. “It’s a bit inconvenient through clothes. Should I help you take them off?”
Big pervert! Malicious intentions!
Xia Mingtang cursed internally but didn’t stop her.
After all, Qin Yan had been frustrated from taking care of Mimi these days.
And the fact that she had gone through all this trouble to bring her to this remote mountain for camping…
It was obvious she had other intentions!
Seeing no objection, Qin Yan took it as consent.
Her nimble fingers unbuttoned Xia Mingtang’s cotton pajamas with ease and removed the set.
Xia Mingtang, lazy and limp, let herself be handled like a salted fish.
She thought Qin Yan would turn her over as usual, but after a while, nothing happened.
Curious, she tried to turn her head.
The next moment, her hands were tied from behind with red silk ropes.
The crimson silk wound from her shoulder blades down…
Before Xia Mingtang could react, Qin Yan wrapped her body with the ropes as if she were a gift.
She thrashed like a fish, trying to struggle, but had little room to move.
The knots brushed against her most sensitive areas, causing shivers with just slight contact.
Even worse, the ropes had little bells, jingling with every movement like some secret urging.
Looking at herself bound in red silk, Xia Mingtang’s voice came out in a whimper, “If you want to do it, fine… but why tie me up?!”
