The Yandere Queen's Manual for Training Her Wife - Chapter 104
Although the young Qin Yan wasn’t keen on admitting it, the brief return of the older Qin Yan had indeed made life much easier for her at the company. Several calls had been made in advance, and the results were undeniable.
Originally, she had mentally prepared herself to work overtime for the upcoming trip to the hot spring resort next week.
Unexpectedly, the company’s management suddenly became unusually cooperative. Once they heard she would be away for a few days, instead of nagging as they usually did, each of them proactively offered to take over her tasks.
She had no idea what sort of magic the older Qin Yan had cast on them.
No matter what, this was undeniably good news for her.
Young Qin Yan even let herself daydream: if work piled up too much in the future, it wouldn’t be impossible to have that “other” version come back for a day or two.
Summer Mingtang had originally been listening to music in the car. Seeing Qin Yan with a silly grin plastered across her face, she couldn’t resist pinching her cheek.
“What are you thinking about? So happy?”
Qin Yan obediently let her squeeze her face and spoke honestly.
“I was thinking… whether there’s a pattern to how ‘she’ and I switch. Maybe after our vacation, you could summon her to work for a couple of days, and then summon me again when things are less busy.”
Summer Mingtang was stunned. Play while she works? That’s a literal bug in the system.
Seeing no reaction, Qin Yan grabbed her hand and rubbed it against her cheek, acting all cute.
“Please~”
“You wish,” Summer Mingtang muttered, tapping her fingers against Qin Yan’s head hidden under her black hair.
“Do you think I’m a summoner? Want someone, just summon them?”
Hearing this, Qin Yan’s expression fell slightly in disappointment.
“Can’t we negotiate a bit?”
Summer Mingtang laughed angrily. “Sure. If one day she comes back, I’ll relay your suggestion and see if she’ll negotiate.”
“Then that’s unnecessary!” Qin Yan shook her head vigorously.
This was meant to be a little secret between her and her wife; there was no way she would tell that annoying version, who certainly wouldn’t agree.
The car arrived at the hot spring resort. Qin Yan asked the driver to park the car in the garage, and she held Summer Mingtang’s hand as they stepped out.
The resort was built into the mountains, nestled halfway up the hillside near a lake. Outside, the forest was lush, while inside, gardens and pavilions were carefully designed.
Qin Yan had booked the rooms days in advance.
Walking along the pebble paths, they enjoyed the natural scenery. This was the first time Qin Yan had gone on a vacation with her wife; previously, just staying at home in Su City didn’t count.
As sunset approached, the sky was bathed in a warm yellow, merging with the distant mountain ranges. A few birds flew across, forming a scene that looked like a painting splashed with color.
Summer Mingtang had only intended to accompany the nineteen-year-old Qin Yan for a short trip, just to have a change of scenery. But standing amid the mountains and rivers, breathing the fresh air, she felt her fatigue melt away.
They reached the lobby, collected their room cards, and took the elevator to the top floor.
The rooms were crafted from stone and wood, in harmony with nature.
Qin Yan placed her luggage on the sofa and then pulled Summer Mingtang out to the terrace.
“Look, wife, isn’t this place great?” she said, pointing to the private hot spring, steam rising from the water.
Summer Mingtang stepped closer to inspect. The spring was made of marble and surrounded by green bamboo, offering a clear view of the mountain range. At this elevation, no one could peek in. The top floor was also perfect for stargazing at night.
She nodded approvingly. “Not bad. You’re good at picking places.”
Qin Yan’s tail-like excitement almost seemed ready to wag. She hugged Summer Mingtang and gave her a quick kiss before dashing to the suitcase to unpack.
“Let’s shower first, and then we can enjoy the hot spring, drink red wine, and watch the stars.”
The nineteen-year-old Qin Yan might be inexperienced in other matters, but she had an undeniable talent for leisure planning.
Summer Mingtang didn’t mind; she even enjoyed it.
After a quick rinse, they prepared to change into their swimsuits.
Summer Mingtang had a pink one-piece ready. Seeing the small camisole-style swimsuits Qin Yan pulled out, her face froze. The designs were nearly risqué enough to be lingerie!
Qin Yan pretended not to notice her hesitation and came closer, acting cute.
“Wife, there’s a white set and a black set. Which do you like?”
After weighing her options, Summer Mingtang chose the relatively conservative pearl-white. She refused Qin Yan’s “help” in putting it on, wrapped herself in a towel, and went to the bathroom.
By the time she emerged, Qin Yan, clad in the black swimsuit that highlighted her curves, was already in the hot spring, waving.
“Wife, come! I’ve tested the water; it’s perfect.”
Her innocent, radiant smile and her revealing swimsuit didn’t exactly match—but the clear water shimmered, contrasting her pale skin and dark fabric.
Summer Mingtang turned sideways to get in, grabbed the red wine on the step, and sipped.
It was nearly summer, and the air was warm.
Qin Yan slithered over like a slippery snake, holding her hand, and took a sip of her wine.
“Sweet,” she mumbled happily.
Seeing Qin Yan’s pure joy over something as trivial as an indirect kiss, Summer Mingtang couldn’t help but laugh and feel helpless. They had kissed directly countless times before.
The steam rising from the spring added a soft glow to their familiar faces. Summer Mingtang, overwhelmed by the heat, wrapped her hand around Qin Yan’s smooth shoulder, pulling her close.
Before Qin Yan could react, she kissed her.
Qin Yan’s eyes widened. “Wife, you kissed me!”
“Hmm? Can’t I?” Summer Mingtang said, sipping the wine to cover her embarrassment.
She didn’t even realize why she had acted on impulse. After all, the other version had kissed her countless times—so why not reciprocate once?
The impulsive kiss completely triggered the young Qin Yan’s teenage heart.
She cupped Summer Mingtang’s face, pink bubbles seemingly popping around her.
“Wife, it’s your first time kissing me voluntarily. I’m so happy! I want more~”
The last “more” was drawn out in a wave-like tone.
Summer Mingtang blushed but couldn’t resist.
Prepared this time, Qin Yan wrapped her arms around her, deepening the kiss skillfully.
Summer Mingtang struggled for air, not noticing the intensity in the younger Qin Yan’s gaze.
The hand that had been on her back slowly slid down to her waist, tightening its grip.
By the time she realized, her legs were weak, and she couldn’t even stand, her back pressed against the pebbled wall.
She tried to push her away but was caught by the wrist. The sudden tightening made her sobering up.
“Why can she, but I can’t?” Qin Yan’s eyes were cold.
Summer Mingtang finally freed herself slightly, breathing heavily as she stared at her.
It was the same familiar face, but the aura was completely different.
When did you come back?
She didn’t say it out loud, but Qin Yan seemed to read her mind, smiling wickedly.
“Your expression… don’t want me back?”
Honestly, at that moment, she didn’t.
Qin Yan pressed her waist against Summer Mingtang again, aiming to continue the kiss.
Due to her previous experience, Summer Mingtang hesitated.
Then suddenly, she recalled the young Qin Yan’s words: “I’m thinking… whether there’s a pattern…”
Without thinking, she shouted:
“Divorce!”
Qin Yan froze.
Summer Mingtang thought the younger version might switch back—but instead, Qin Yan looked up, smiling mischievously.
“Been a while, huh? Mingtang has become cheeky. Seems your memory’s a bit off too.”
Summer Mingtang didn’t immediately understand.
Command failed?
The next moment, she was pressed against the hot spring wall by Qin Yan, her whole body pinned.
Before she could struggle, Qin Yan ripped off the bottom of her swimsuit, gripping her soft, pale flesh.
Summer Mingtang shivered violently.
But it was too late.
“Smack!”
The heavy slap collided with her round curves, sending ripples through the water.
“You seem to have forgotten what I said before,” Qin Yan said in a low, threatening tone, like a devil’s whisper.
The strong hand alternated over both sides of her curves.
Soon, her pale skin was tinged with red, as if splashed with paint.
Summer Mingtang clung to the wall, sweating.
Thanks to the water’s cushioning, the pain wasn’t as intense, but the humiliation of being stripped and disciplined in the open hot spring was amplified.
Even worse, the water followed each slap, reaching areas more intimate and sensitive.
Her whole body tingled painfully, relying solely on Qin Yan’s grip to keep from slipping into the pool.
Just a moment ago, everything had been so warm and tender; now she was being punished on the stone wall.
Her protests, though heartfelt, didn’t meet with stronger retaliation.
Qin Yan seemed content with light discipline, administering a few dozen slaps before cradling her in her arms.
Her nimble tongue licked the tears from Summer Mingtang’s face, like a serpent’s breath.
“Mingtang, I’m back. Remember, this is me.”
