The White Moonlight Omega Has Amnesia and Always Tries to Seduce Me - Chapter 84
The air was deadly silent.
The piece of paper drifted down without even stirring a speck of dust, yet it made Qin Huai unable to blink. It was Shen Zhi who came over first and, seeing Qin Huai’s vacant eyes, asked, “What’s wrong?”
Hearing the voice, Qin Huai quickly grabbed the paper, crumpled it into a ball, and clutched it in her palm, a rare display of nervousness. “Nothing.”
“What are you holding?” Shen Zhi sat down beside her.
“Nothing.” Qin Huai cleared her throat. “Just some small advertisement flyers.”
After saying that, she was afraid Shen Zhi would press further, so she quickly looked up at the movie screen in front. “Why hasn’t it started yet?”
Qin Huai’s series of actions was extremely unusual, and Shen Zhi couldn’t help but lean closer, scanning her face carefully.
The Omega’s skin tone was cool white, and the dim light of the movie theater made her complexion much paler, simultaneously reducing her sense of distance. She still pursed her lips, and her eyes appeared more direct when she wasn’t speaking, but unlike usual, Qin Huai’s gaze was evasive.
This situation was rare, not even when Qin Huai woke up in an unfamiliar environment was she like this. Shen Zhi narrowed her eyes, rested her hand on the sofa, and leaned in, wanting to discover more.
The paper Qin Huai was gripping was damp from the sweat in her palm. Her mind was filled with the thought that Shen Zhi couldn’t see this, but she overlooked the person who was approaching.
Finally, just as she noticed something was amiss, Shen Zhi’s nose was almost touching her face.
This level of proximity was too intimate.
Qin Huai put her palms on the sofa behind her, tilting her body to the side, pulling away from the distance. “Stay away from me.”
“Then let me see what you have in your hand first.” Shen Zhi was like a large dog spotting meat, her eyes intense and demanding.
“It’s nothing.” Qin Huai’s gaze was like a wall, seeming to block the Alpha opposite her.
“Since you won’t say.” As Shen Zhi spoke, she suddenly reached forward with both hands, leaning her body in, trapping Qin Huai between herself and the sofa. “Then I won’t be polite.”
Qin Huai was startled by the sudden pounce, her eyes flustered like a little rabbit in the mountains. The moment she saw the massive figure, her eyes widened into perfect circles.
“Huai Huai, I want to see.”
Alright, the big dog had started to whine.
This feeling was much like your mischievous pet dog playing with you, suddenly pinning you down. You might think it’s going to bite or scratch you, but instead, it taps you with its paw and licks your neck with its soft tongue.
Even if Qin Huai was furious, she couldn’t unleash it. She could only glare at the Alpha on top of her, huffing like a paper tiger, “Get up.”
“No.”
“If you don’t get up, I’ll hit you.”
Qin Huai tried her best to raise her tone and sound fierce, thinking the Alpha on her would surely get up obediently. However, the opposite happened. The smile at the corner of the Alpha’s mouth widened, and her eyes faintly showed a glimmer of excitement.
Qin Huai: “?”
Shen Zhi: “Where do you plan on hitting me?”
Qin Huai: “???”
When did the atmosphere start to go wrong? In short, by the time Qin Huai realized it, Shen Zhi was wrapping her arms around her waist, her lips lingering on her earlobe.
The scorching breath flowed from her ear canal to the side of her neck, and dense, tiny kisses carrying the Alpha’s unique scent drifted in the air. Qin Huai was confined backward in the Alpha’s embrace, her hands gripping the other’s lapel powerlessly.
“Huai Huai, does it feel good?” Shen Zhi asked after heavily sucking on the other’s fair neck.
Qin Huai was pulled back to her senses by that sound, her eyes a bit distracted as she stared ahead, her voice muffled. “That’s all you’re capable of.”
This was the first time Qin Huai had reacted to her affection, and Shen Zhi was momentarily slow to respond.
Sensing the Alpha’s brief confusion behind her, Qin Huai moved her neck, turned her cheek, and a glint of light flashed in her hazy eyes. “Did you use up all your energy on your talk with your sister today?”
Shen Zhi gently hummed, her tone ambiguous. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m saying,” Qin Huai gripped the lapel tightly, not caring that the collar of the white T-shirt was pulled down to reveal her shoulder. “Dare you to be a little more capable.”
The Omega’s provocation was too fatal. The next second, Shen Zhi’s eyes flashed with a cold light, and she bit down on the fair shoulder.
The smell of semen was faint in the air. Qin Huai straightened her wrinkled clothes, stepped on the edge of the coffee table, pulled out a tissue, and casually wiped the spot beneath her. Her expression was somewhat flat, and her eyes still looked a little scattered.
“How was it just now?” Shen Zhi clung to her arm like a child seeking evaluation.
Qin Huai glanced at her, withdrew her gaze, and threw the question back at her. “What do you think?”
This wasn’t a good question. Shen Zhi thought to herself. If she answered ‘good,’ she might not get this kind of benefit next time. If she answered ‘not good,’ it would damage her image.
After thinking it over repeatedly, Shen Zhi pursed her lips, her mouth straight. “Then you play with me more often in the future, and I’ll become more capable.”
When she said this, Shen Zhi was prepared to be rejected or kicked, but the next moment, Qin Huai’s answer made her doubt whether her ears were working correctly.
Qin Huai looked down, her eyes intently focused on the other’s hand. Shen Zhi’s hands were very slender and fair, the lines of her finger bones smooth, like a well sculpted piece of art, but now the outside of this artwork was covered with a thin layer of moisture. Qin Huai narrowed her eyes, threw the tissue she had just used for wiping at her, and said in a soft voice, “Alright.”
It was evening when they returned from the movie theater. The wind outside the window rustled the treetops, making a squeaking sound. Qin Huai sat on the sofa with a paper and pen, waiting for Shen Zhi to sit down, and began to summarize the information collected today. Although it was all learned from some of Gu Qing’s past events, the things reflected were quite significant.
Qin Huai pulled out a marker and wrote Qin Zhijing’s name on the paper. “You said you found a lot of Omega pheromones in that lab last time.” After saying that, she wrote the three words ‘Pheromone’ to the left of the name, and then wrote Hao Yan’s name underneath these three words. “Then my pheromone was also in there.”
Shen Zhi nodded. “I remember you said that before you passed out, it was Hao Yan who held the syringe, and after you woke up, you said your scent gland hurt. So Hao Yan must have extracted your pheromone, and the last person she saw must have been Qin Zhijing.”
Qin Huai furrowed her brow, her gaze becoming increasingly serious. “What does he want my pheromone for? My pheromone can’t affect Alphas, and even digging out my scent gland wouldn’t help.”
“No.” Shen Zhi narrowed her eyes, her gaze lost in thought on the three words ‘Qin Zhijing’. “He must urgently need your pheromone to do something. Why did he develop an inhibitor?”
Qin Huai looked up at her. “Because of my mother.”
Shen Zhi nodded. “Auntie’s scent gland was damaged and caused a series of reactions after experimenting on herself. Qin Zhijing took advantage of Auntie’s heat to force her, yet today that old man said Qin Zhijing did this for Auntie?”
As she finished speaking, Shen Zhi suddenly opened her eyes wide and said to Qin Huai, “Huai Huai, don’t go out recently.”
Qin Huai asked, “Why?”
Shen Zhi’s face was grim, her brows tightly knitted together. “I’m afraid he’ll use you for experiments.”
