The White Moonlight Omega Has Amnesia and Always Tries to Seduce Me - Chapter 49
On Monday, Qin Huai and Han Yishuang followed their mentor onto a plane to Y City.
This exchange conference was being held at a five star hotel in Y City. The organizer had booked the entire hotel, and attendees could arrange accommodation with their admission ticket. The taxi stopped at the hotel, and the lobby was already bustling with people checking in.
Qin Huai entered with her suitcase. A gentle mannered Omega staff member directed the three of them to wait on a sofa in the corner of the hotel. Qin Huai was glad to wait until fewer people were checking in, so she had no objection.
In the center of the sofa area was a coffee table with nuts and disposable water cups. Qin Huai first settled her mentor, poured her a glass of water, and then sat down to check her messages.
She and Shen Zhi had agreed to message each other as soon as she arrived in Y City, but first, she had to collect her luggage after getting off the plane, and it would have been impolite to look at her phone in front of her mentor after leaving the airport. Qin Huai could only wait until now.
As soon as she opened her phone, messages belonging to a certain person bombarded the screen.
Qin Huai furrowed her brow, read carefully for a while, then relaxed, her lips curving into a smile that she had to deliberately suppress from showing.
【Little Shen Zhi: Have you arrived? Have you arrived? Have you arrived? Saying important things three times, and it’s not because I’m clingy, oh.】
【Little Shen Zhi: I’ve looked at the screenshot of your ticket several times, it’s exactly this time, why aren’t you replying to me???】
【Little Shen Zhi: Senior? (whispering)】
【Little Shen Zhi: Qin Huai? (hands on hips)】
【Little Shen Zhi: Huai Huai? (pouting/aggrieved)】
Qin Huai rested one arm on the sofa armrest, her knuckles pressing against her lips, preventing the smile on her face from showing even a fraction. Her expression could be hidden, but her eyes, however, could not.
“Yishuang.” The mentor took a sip of tea, suddenly remembering the precautions for the exchange conference that she hadn’t told the two students, “Qin Huai.”
Han Yishuang, sitting on another sofa, immediately looked up and replied, “Teacher, what is it?”
“This exchange conference is mainly about communication. You two can raise any questions you don’t understand, but remember to always be polite.” The older Omega, wearing glasses, spoke seriously about the conference scheduled for tomorrow.
The background noise in the lobby was a cacophony of human voices, occasionally interspersed with phrases like “ID card” and “please remove your mask.” The female Omega mentor’s voice was gentle yet serious, mentioning things as she thought of them, and the young Alpha next to her occasionally responded. The atmosphere was particularly harmonious.
But after a while, the mentor finally noticed something amiss. She turned her head and immediately saw the Omega sitting next to her zoning out in her presence.
Qin Huai rarely spaced out when discussing serious matters, and she would maintain a high level of concentration, which was why her mentor liked her.
But everything has two sides.
Take Qin Huai, for example: she was too rational, always keeping a clear head, lacking in emotional thought, and any idle behavior seemed like a waste of time to her.
However, today was different. Peeling away the hard shell, Qin Huai exposed a side that most Omegas share to some extent:
Dependence.
Next to the sofa was the hotel’s floor-to-ceiling window, with a long table and high chairs creating a casual setting, the curtains half-drawn due to the weather. Qin Huai sat on the sofa with her long hair down, her limbs no longer placed as formally as before, and the frost accumulated in her eyes seemed to have completely melted away.
The Alpha nearby wanted to remind Qin Huai but was stopped by a gesture from the mentor, and could only sit obediently, praying for his junior’s sake.
Qin Huai was completely oblivious to the embarrassing situation she was in, because Shen Zhi was replying too quickly, and every message ended with a question mark, giving Qin Huai no excuse not to reply.
When she finally sensed something was wrong and slowly put down her phone, two pairs of eyes immediately shot toward her.
Qin Huai: “…”
“What is it?”
The mentor randomly spot-checked: “What did I just say? Answer me.”
Qin Huai: “?”
Qin Huai was silent for a while. The mentor also understood and was about to speak, when a bite mark on her student’s collarbone caught her attention. In the end, her many words condensed into one sentence.
“Qin Huai, please be mindful of appearances.”
“Did your teacher really say that?”
In the quiet room, Shen Zhi’s voice came through the phone. Qin Huai tossed the phone onto the bed and was half-kneeling on the floor, organizing her suitcase. The Alpha’s voice was too much like she was enjoying the drama, and Qin Huai was too lazy to bother, pulling cosmetics from her luggage and placing them on the table.
Shen Zhi: “Senior, do you need me to come over tomorrow?”
Finally, a serious sentence. Qin Huai stood up and asked, “What are you coming for?”
“I’m worried your mentor might misunderstand.” A rustling sound came from Shen Zhi’s end, her voice fluctuating, “If something like this is discovered, shouldn’t I meet the elder?”
Utterly ridiculous.
Qin Huai couldn’t be bothered and hung up the phone without any unnecessary words.
Only staying in Y City for one day, Qin Huai was too lazy to unpack everything, so she simply spread everything out on the floor, grabbing whatever she needed. She only placed her laptop on the bedside table. After taking a shower that night, she organized some documents before going to sleep.
Before closing her eyes, Shen Zhi’s words popped into her head again.
The hotel bed was a 1.5-meter-wide double bed, slightly smaller than the one at Shen Zhi’s house.
Qin Huai subconsciously touched the space beside her. The touch was no longer the familiar warmth. After a moment of a blank or stunned look, she tried to induce sleep again.
At five in the morning, Qin Huai was woken up by her phone ringing. She groggily opened her eyes, fumbled for the phone by the bed, and squinted to look at it.
The sight almost made her lose her breath.
For a second, Qin Huai almost answered the call and cursed a few times. She took a deep breath, rubbed her messy hair, and finally answered the phone on the second ring.
She covered herself completely with the blanket, leaving only her head and hands exposed, and closed her eyes to deal with the Alpha on the other end, “You better have a good reason.”
“I’ve arrived.”
Qin Huai: “? Arrived where?”
“Y City. I’m currently strolling in the hotel corridor.”
Qin Huai “whooshed” up from the bed, her eyes no longer blurry. She finally swore into the phone, “Shen Zhi, are you sick?”
Qin Huai’s voice was naturally pleasant. Now, having just woken up, the huskiness in her throat hadn’t faded, like the clean, clear depths of a cool stream, beautiful enough to see the fine sand through the water’s surface, utterly captivating.
Shen Zhi stood by the elevator entrance, speaking to the empty corridor, “I saw the mentor.”
Qin Huai couldn’t sit still. She threw off the blanket, got out of bed, and, wrapped in a throw, walked toward the door, stating her room number, “Avoid the mentor and come over.”
About two minutes passed. For these two minutes, Qin Huai paced anxiously barefoot by the door, her mind racing about what to say if the mentor caught them.
She couldn’t just say her junior wanted to come to broaden her horizons, could she?
Moreover, what did it signify for an Alpha to enter an Omega’s room in the middle of the night?
It signified everything.
Qin Huai covered her face with her hand. Her sleepiness had completely vanished from this disturbance. She opened the door a crack, and just as she was about to peer out through the small gap, the door was pushed open from the outside, sending Qin Huai staggering back several steps.
A faint sandalwood scent diffused through the room.
The next second, Qin Huai was pinned against the door by a pair of strong hands.
The Alpha was tall and long legged, with a healthy build, almost blocking out half the light when standing in front of Qin Huai. But the unique temperament of a younger person was fully unleashed at this moment.
Compared to the composure of an elder, the younger person carries an eternally burning heat, appearing before you in an unexpected manner.
Making you laugh and cry, utterly dumbfounded.
Qin Huai lifted her chin, scrutinizing the Alpha carefully in the shadows, as if confirming something.
The frustration of wind slipping through one’s fingers, impossible to grasp, was finally filled at this moment.
Qin Huai grasped the front of the Alpha’s clothes and asked, “Why did you rush here so late? Don’t you have class tomorrow?”
“I only have one elective class tomorrow; I asked my roommate to cover the attendance.” After Shen Zhi answered, one hand ran through Qin Huai’s hair, her fingers lightly scratching her scalp, “Senior, why did you ask me to come to your room?”
Qin Huai said nothing.
Shen Zhi continued: “Senior, you forgot. I have two tickets. Even if I didn’t come to you, I could check in myself. But you suddenly asked me to enter your room; I can’t possibly clear my name now.”
The blanket on her body was pulled off by the Alpha’s hand, exposing her smooth shoulder to the air.
Shen Zhi closed her eyes and bit Qin Huai’s lip as a form of punishment, “Senior, what should I do tomorrow? Wait for you obediently in the hotel?”
Qin Huai lowered her eyes and immediately saw Shen Zhi’s hand placed on her chest.
The Alpha’s hand was very attractive, with clean and smooth lines, the kind that looked respectable just by wearing a watch.
But now it was different. Qin Huai closed her eyes, biting her lip, allowing those hands to roam the area.
“Why is it still so small?” Shen Zhi’s eyebrows showed a hint of confusion. Receiving no answer, this confusion turned into self-reproach, “It must be because I haven’t tried hard enough.”
Following that, the movement of those hands became more unrestrained than before.
Suppressed sounds accumulated in her mouth. Qin Huai clasped her hands behind her back, tilting her neck to carefully endure the exploration.
“Huai Huai, don’t carry such a heavy burden. I’m only a few years younger than you, not a child. You don’t need to feel awkward.” Shen Zhi buried her head in Qin Huai’s chest, slowly raising her eyelids, “We will be doing all sorts of intimate things in the future.”
“Huai Huai, I want to see you cry and hear you call out.”
The young Alpha always had infinite energy. After receiving a signal of consent from her Omega, she held Qin Huai with one arm, and the two tumbled onto the bed.
Just as Shen Zhi said, she was only a junior.
Qin Huai pressed her hand on the back of the Alpha’s head, wanting to demand more, but unfortunately, her strength was no match for the Alpha’s. Shen Zhi only needed to move her tongue a little, and Qin Huai was already ready to surrender.
“Huai Huai, tell me what you want.”
