The Villain Turned Out to Be a Scummy Omega? [GL] - Chapter 27 (2)
“Those aren’t… exactly your style.”
“They aren’t for me.”
Qi Ling looked even more horrified, her eyes wide. “What?”
“They’re for Song Ziqing. Her clothes were pretty much ruined by Xie Muqing, so I want to buy her some new ones.”
Qi Ling blinked, staring in disbelief at Lu Qinnian, who was dressed in a casual black sweater and slacks.
“Are you deaf?” Lu Qinnian asked, her displeasure evident.
Qi Ling immediately wiped the expression off her face and pouted. “No wonder you called me. I’m an expert in this field good taste, and I know how to coax a woman.”
“Is that so?” Lu Qinnian said curtly.
Qi Ling rolled her eyes and sighed. “With that temper of yours… I already told you, Song Ziqing doesn’t like people with explosive tempers.”
“You aren’t her. Do you expect me to be gentle with you?”
“Fine, fine, fine!” Qi Ling surrendered immediately, leading her toward the lower floors. She felt a sudden wave of unease. I hope they don’t run into each other. They should have left by now, right?
Please don’t let a fight break out. If they start swinging, I won’t be able to stop them, and the Chairman will have my head!
Qi Ling nervously led Lu Qinnian toward a boutique on the third floor. This shop carried almost every style imaginable for a soft beauty like Song Ziqing.
“How about this?” Qi Ling picked up a pair of white sneakers. “These are a new release from KD. I think they’d look great on Miss Qingqing.”
Just as she spoke, she looked up and saw Lu Qinnian staring down at the second floor. The mall was designed like a traditional courtyard house, allowing a clear view of the floor below from the third-story balcony.
The second floor specialized in luxury dresses. At that moment, Song Ziqing was picking out a dress for Yan Hui, while Yan Hui held up a dress, measuring it against Song Ziqing’s frame.
Qi Ling’s face fell. She lamented her own bad luck and stepped forward, asking with a look of utter bewilderment, “If you wanted to buy her clothes, why didn’t you just invite her to come with you? Now you’ve let someone else snatch the opportunity.”
“She said she liked surprise gifts,” Lu Qinnian said. She let out a cold snort and turned to march downstairs with aggressive momentum.
Qi Ling jumped and scrambled to keep up, whispering urgently, “Don’t be impulsive! Remember! She likes the gentle type, not the explosive, domineering type!”
Lu Qinnian turned back, her gaze sharp and piercing. Qi Ling swallowed hard, her heart in her throat as she watched the woman walk toward them.
Fortunately, Yan Hui had turned away to grab another garment. Song Ziqing opened the door to a fitting room, likely about to try on the dress Yan Hui had chosen. Get in there quickly! Qi Ling thought frantically.
She whispered once more to the retreating back, “Lu Qinnian, gentle… gen—”
Before she could finish, she watched Lu Qinnian stride forward. In the split second before Song Ziqing could shut the fitting room door, Lu Qinnian slipped inside after her.
Watching the door click shut and seeing Yan Hui walking back toward the fitting room, Qi Ling’s lips twitched, and her face turned green with frustration.
“Things are about to go south! That fitting room is tiny! What are you doing in there?!” Qi Ling stood rooted to the spot, gnashing her teeth. Watching Yan Hui approach, she was at a total loss. If Lu Qinnian walked out now, there would absolutely be a fight!
I’m dead, I’m dead! Qi Ling clutched her head in despair.
Inside the fitting room, Song Ziqing had just removed her clothes to change when she suddenly saw Lu Qinnian’s reflection standing behind her in the mirror. She nearly jumped out of her skin. Spinning around and covering her chest, she stared at the woman in disbelief.
“Y-y-you… how did you get in here?”
Lu Qinnian took a step forward. Song Ziqing recoiled in fright until her back hit the cold mirror. As she shivered and looked up in anger, two warm, moist lips covered hers without a word of explanation.
Song Ziqing pushed against Lu Qinnian with fury, but Lu Qinnian only kissed her more forcefully. She gripped the girl’s waist and yanked her into a tight embrace, forcing Song Ziqing’s cool skin against her warm body.
Song Ziqing’s mind went blank. She couldn’t push her away. Her cheeks were held firmly, forcing her lips apart, and Lu Qinnian took the opportunity to dominate her with a predatory kiss.
Song Ziqing tried to pull away, but Lu Qinnian supported the back of her head, drawing her back in and deepening the lingering, soul-stirring kiss.
In the cramped space, the only sounds were Song Ziqing’s muffled whimpers and her weak attempts at struggle.
Suddenly, Yan Hui’s gentle voice drifted from outside. “Qingqing, are you ready? I picked out another one. Should I pass it in to you?”
Song Ziqing panicked. Forgetting to push Lu Qinnian away, she reached out and shoved the door just as it began to crack open.
Lu Qinnian suddenly released her lips. Her palm cradled the back of the girl’s neck, and she pressed her forehead against Song Ziqing’s. She gave a wicked grin, her breath coming in heavy gasps. “Why won’t you let her in?”
“Qingqing? Are you still changing?” Yan Hui asked.
Song Ziqing stammered, “Yes, I’m still—mph!”
Lu Qinnian lowered her head again, cutting her off with another domineering kiss. The hand on her slender waist moved mischievously, spinning her around and pinning her against the fitting room door.
“Sorry about that. I’ll wait for you out here. Take your time,” Yan Hui said from outside, apologizing for her clumsiness.
Song Ziqing pushed frantically at Lu Qinnian. Lu Qinnian broke the kiss for a brief moment; the more Song Ziqing seemed to care about the person outside, the angrier Lu Qinnian became. She gave the girl’s waist a firm, meaningful squeeze. “Don’t forget, you promised to date me yesterday. How can you be thinking of someone else at a time like this?”
“You’re crazy—mph…”
Lu Qinnian kissed her again, more aggressively than before, and the hand at her waist began to wander restlessly.
Qi Ling stood a short distance away, watching the fitting room door as it rattled slightly. She knew that devious Lu Qinnian was definitely up to no good!
