The Villain Has A Yuri Halo [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 13
Gao Sheng’s attempt to complain was backfiring at him and leaving him humiliated. He had been willing to betray Li Ju for Tang Qingqing; couldn’t she see his sincerity? He had given so much, and yet Tang Qingqing had the heart to scold him! If Zhao Zhang ever found out, he would surely laugh at him.
“Ms. Tang, did you not listen to the recording properly?”
“Miss Li has no respect for you! Her words are full of contempt! The most outrageous thing is that she doesn’t even see you as a person. Ms. Tang, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear what you just said. I don’t blame you. She’s beaten you down so much that you’ve lost the will to resist.”
Gao Sheng was convinced that Li Ju was malevolent toward Tang Qingqing. How could an arrogant heiress like Li Ju possibly care about Tang Qingqing, an adopted daughter? Harassment and abuse were her attitudes toward Tang Qingqing, and the recording was the proof! Gao Sheng felt he had found a kindred spirit; he and Tang Qingqing had both been tormented by Li Ju. Just because Li Ju was an investor in his company didn’t mean he was grateful. Her constant meddling and the way she ordered him around like a subordinate had chipped away at his dignity time and again. It was as if he was destined to be a kept man. He was a promising young talent, so why did he have to become Li Ju’s subordinate after meeting her?
His eyes flashed with a cold light. How could he have forgotten that Tang Qingqing was an adopted daughter of the Li family? Tang Qingqing wasn’t just an ordinary teacher; her status had just skyrocketed. If he… if he could work with her, wouldn’t it be a win-win? He didn’t like strong, independent women. Besides, Li Ju was so arrogant and overbearing. Compared to the icy Tang Qingqing, Li Ju’s only advantage was her family background. But now Tang Qingqing had also gone from an ordinary person to a rich one, which was a huge piece of good news for Gao Sheng.
Tang Qingqing was a woman of few words, but she wasn’t an idiot. She smelled something rancid coming from Gao Sheng—the stench of human decay. She keenly sensed the shift in Gao Sheng’s gaze and sneered. “Not only are you ugly, but you also have a horrible stench. Don’t contact me again. What I said to you last time wasn’t a joke. Men who bother me don’t get a good ending. Do you think I have the ability to ruin your partnership with the school?”
This time, she smiled a dazzling smile. It wasn’t bright and beautiful, but it sent a chill down Gao Sheng’s spine. That same eerie, chilling feeling came over him. Gao Sheng remembered the threat she had made in the restroom that day. He never took risks with business; it was his life’s work. He tensed up, not daring to make a move, and watched Tang Qingqing warily, still wanting to defend himself. But a cup of hot coffee suddenly stained the collar of his shirt. When the coffee was thrown, Gao Sheng instinctively squeezed his eyes shut in fear. The scalding sensation on his neck made him jump up, and by the time he had sorted himself out, Tang Qingqing was long gone.
Tang Qingqing had taken the umbrella that was by the door. The black umbrella was severe and cold, and her expressionless face held an untouchable temperature. She stood by the roadside, half her face hidden by the umbrella, revealing only her rosy lips and pale chin, leaving much to the imagination. Tang Qingqing looked at the puddles at her feet and carefully moved to the side. The wind and rain grew colder, making Tang Qingqing touch her cheek.
The weather was terrible, but it didn’t bother Tang Qingqing at all. Her watery eyes rippled with a smile as she dialed a number. The other party didn’t answer immediately; it took a few seconds. Li Ju’s voice held an almost undetectable hint of amusement. “It’s Friday. What do you want to do now that you don’t have class?”
Yes, it was a Friday, one of Tang Qingqing’s days off. Li Ju clearly remembered the special Fridays. A while ago, they had gone out for dinner on a Friday. Even though two uninvited guests showed up, both Li Ju and Tang Qingqing gave the Huaiyang cuisine a big thumbs up. Tang Qingqing felt her heart turn into a marshmallow, light and airy. Li Ju’s breath could blow her right to her side, and the sweetness in the marshmallow was the sugar dust Li Ju had sprinkled on it.
She said softly, “Are you still busy at the company, Little Ju?”
“Do you want me to be a spinning top every day? Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you. I had a sudden burst of inspiration today and a pretty good design sketch. I think I can get it done in time for next year’s fashion show.” She sounded proud and confident, excitedly showing off her achievements for the day.
Tang Qingqing’s lips couldn’t help but curl into a smile. She asked in a gentle voice, “Could I trouble you to pick me up, Little Ju?”
Li Ju calmly took a sip of tea. “Have I ever been stingy with you when it comes to money? Has the company’s annual dividend never reached your account? Now you’re ordering me around? Take a cab yourself. I’m too busy to come all the way to your school.”
“I’m not at school.”
“I’m still not coming.”
Why would a villain be a chauffeur for the protagonist? I’d rather die than do that, Li Ju thought to herself.
“But… but I’m hurt, and that person cursed me out. I couldn’t argue with them. If I hadn’t run fast enough, they would have hit me!” Tang Qingqing pretended to sob a few times, sounding pitiful as she complained. Her voice was full of grievance, but her eyes were brimming with amusement. She twirled the handle of her umbrella, the black fabric rotating like a blooming ink-colored flower.
Li Ju put down her teacup. The tea was refreshing, and she suddenly felt motivated. This isn’t chauffeuring the protagonist; I’m going to go mock her.
Li Ju said in a strange tone, “Oh, so there are people even you can’t handle? Did you pretend to be good for so long that you lost your claws? Well, I have to see this for myself.” She paused, then said with a hint of disdain, “Alright, alright, stop crying. After I’ve seen the show, I’ll help you get back at them. If I don’t help you get back at them, my friends will make fun of me. Just wait, I’m on my way.”
When Li Ju said she was going, she was going. Being wishy-washy was not in her vocabulary. Tang Qingqing smiled to herself. She was cunning and full of tricks, and she had many ways to counter Li Ju’s moves. They were a perfect match.
The rain was a steady drizzle, and many cars passed by, but none were the person Tang Qingqing was waiting for. While she waited, she saw a flustered Gao Sheng. She could see the dark look on his face from a distance, so the coffee must have stung his ego. Tang Qingqing averted her eyes. He was just an unimportant person; she’d just focus on waiting for Li Ju.
Suddenly, a car stopped, honking a few times. Tang Qingqing’s eyes lit up, and she sprinted over. Puddles splashed up, but this time she didn’t try to avoid them. All her attention was on the woman in the car.
The car window slowly rolled down. Li Ju squinted at the lively Tang Qingqing, a sneer on her face. Her gaze was anything but gentle. “Running so fast, smiling so happily… is this what you mean by ‘hurt’ and ‘bullied’? Tang Qingqing, I really want to break your legs right now.”
Tang Qingqing leaned over and rested her arms on the car window, batting her innocent eyes. “If I didn’t say that, you wouldn’t have come to pick me up. I just wanted to see you. I didn’t have any malicious intentions. If you really want to break my legs, you can.”
Li Ju was impressed by this woman’s ability to lie through her teeth. She began to wonder if she had been too nice to Tang Qingqing lately, so she dared to lie to her face! No! I must regain my villainous dignity!
“I can?”
Tang Qingqing obediently nodded, waiting for Li Ju’s next command. Li Ju looked at her, then a brilliant smile appeared on her face. She personally opened the car door for Tang Qingqing. Her beautiful face was an irresistible temptation. No matter what her scheme was, Tang Qingqing would follow her without a second thought.
Tang Qingqing shook the umbrella and placed it at her feet. She then sat down and looked at Li Ju expectantly. “I’m ready, Little Ju.”
Li Ju raised an eyebrow and repeated her question. Tang Qingqing gave the same answer. Li Ju said no more. She adjusted the seat to create more space. “Lie down.” She patted her legs in front of Tang Qingqing, as if inviting her to do something.
Tang Qingqing’s eyes widened, and she stuttered, “Lie… lie here for what?”
Li Ju smiled. “What I’m going to do is none of your business. Just tell me if you’ll lie down or not.”
“Didn’t you say you were going to break my legs?” Tang Qingqing would rather endure physical pain than the torment of this loving moment. It was a double torment of body and mind, and she was afraid she couldn’t handle it.
Li Ju shot her a sidelong glance. “Hm?”
Tang Qingqing slowly moved over. The brave woman even tried to put her hand on Li Ju’s shoulder, but Li Ju pushed it down. She had no choice but to support herself on the seat. Half her body was pressed against Li Ju, and her legs were naturally hanging down, bent at the knees.
“Little Ju, what should I do now?”
Li Ju’s gaze was calm and unwavering. She took off the woman’s jacket and threw it in the passenger seat. Tang Qingqing’s slender waist and soft body intrigued her. She placed her palm on the small of Tang Qingqing’s back, stroking along her curves. Her expression was serious, not at all lustful. She looked completely proper, unaware that the woman on her lap was blushing all over and had gone completely soft.
“Little Ju!” Tang Qingqing called out anxiously.
Li Ju’s lips curled into a smirk. She whispered teasingly, “Shhh, don’t make a sound. I’m measuring your leg to see which part I should break. Tang Qingqing, you’re trembling. Are you scared?”
Tang Qingqing obediently shook her head, trying to sound tough. “I’m not scared.”
“Then why are you shaking?”
Her eyes were glistening with a dreamy, watery sheen, a shimmering result of Li Ju tearing down all her rationality. Tang Qingqing bit her lip shyly and glared at Li Ju in protest. “It’s none of your business!”
Li Ju’s brows furrowed. Oh, good, her wings are getting stronger. She didn’t waste any more words and slapped Tang Qingqing’s thigh. She wasn’t satisfied with the effect, so she inexplicably moved her hand a second time. This time, her palm landed on Tang Qingqing’s behind.
Tang Qingqing’s ears turned red, and so did her eyes. She said indignantly, “You can’t bully me like this!”
Li Ju, feeling defiant, slapped her again, once more on her behind. Tang Qingqing’s eyes widened, as if she hadn’t expected Li Ju to be so bold. At that, the tears began to fall like pearls on a string.
Li Ju’s expression froze. Her scalp tingled as she blinked rapidly. No… no, why is she crying all of a sudden?! She had bullied her before, and she had never cried! “Hey, hey, let’s talk this out. Don’t cry!”
“Stop it right now. No more crying.”
“…”
“Alright, alright, cry, cry. I’m sorry, I’m sorry!”
