The Strongest Alpha is Overwhelmingly Omega After Rebirth - Chapter 24
The white magnolias in the black vase on the dining table were exceptionally beautiful. Ning Youji gazed at them for a long while before turning his eyes toward the person sitting opposite him.
Lin Yan looked at the two rather pitiful bowls of porridge and let out a laugh. “Our New Year’s Day celebration is a bit tragic, isn’t it?”
Ning Youji looked down at the bowl in front of him. Just as Lin Yan described, it was neither watery nor dry, looking more like a clump of white sticky rice cake. A hint of a smile brewed in his dark eyes. He picked up a spoon and took a mouthful. Despite its appearance, the taste was actually quite good, seasoned with just a pinch of salt. “It tastes pretty good,” he said honestly.
“Stop flattering me.” Lin Yan’s eyes crinkled with a trace of a smile at the compliment. Seeing Ning Youji take another bite, Lin Yan asked dubiously, “Is it really okay?”
He took a spoonful himself and found the flavor was indeed better than the look; it was the kind of food perfectly suited for the elderly or the sick. The two of each finished a large bowl, surprisingly enjoying the simple salted porridge.
Lin Yan poured a glass of warm water and walked over to Ning Youji. “Here, take your medicine.”
Ning Youji looked up blankly at the yellow and green granules in Lin Yan’s hand, his brow furrowing almost imperceptibly. Seeing his hesitation, a mischievous smile played in Lin Yan’s eyes as he leaned in closer. “Ning Youji, tell the truth—are you afraid of taking medicine?”
“…”
Ning Youji met Lin Yan’s sparkling eyes, took his hand, tossed the pills into his mouth, and followed them with a gulp of water. Lin Yan shrugged with an expression that said, “I’m just a big brother watching a little kid try to act tough while taking medicine.”
After the medicine was taken, Lin Yan told him to go rest in his room. It was Ning Youji’s first time entering an Omega’s bedroom. Lin Yan’s room was spacious, with a custom-made desk and wardrobe. The decor leaned toward a youthful vibe, complete with anime posters on the headboard—very much in line with the owner’s personality.
Lin Yan carried a blanket from the sofa into the room. Seeing Ning Youji standing still at the doorway, he asked, “What are you looking at?”
Ning Youji chuckled softly. “It really is a kid’s room.”
Lin Yan: “…”
“Well, I am terribly sorry, Young Master Ning,” Lin Yan said with a fake smile. “Please humble yourself and endure sleeping in a ‘kid’s bed’ for a bit.” He patted the bed, signaling for the “kid who is afraid of medicine” to lie down.
Ning Youji lay on the Omega’s bed, but he wasn’t particularly sleepy. Lin Yan sat at his desk. Fearing he might disturb Ning Youji, he only turned on a tiny desk lamp.
“Call me if you need anything.” Lin Yan remembered Ning Youji had been out all day and turned to ask, “Does your family know you’re out?”
“It is fine.” Ning Youji’s eyes were half-closed, looking drowsy. “They should have left today.”
Lin Yan opened his mouth to ask something else.
“I am sleepy,” Ning Youji interrupted, closing his eyes.
Lin Yan saw he was refusing to communicate. “Fine, then go to sleep.” He turned back to focus on his test papers.
The person on the bed slowly opened his eyes halfway. His vision gradually focused on the back of the figure at the desk. The air conditioning was set high, and Lin Yan was wearing a white lamb-themed pajama set. Ning Youji could see his thin elbows and the pale neck exposed to the air. From Ning Youji’s angle, the light from the desk lamp hit Lin Yan’s neck perfectly, illuminating a ring of deep red tooth marks. They were much deeper than the previous marking; it would likely take at least two weeks for them to fade. He watched like that for an unknown amount of time.
After Lin Yan finished a paper, he stretched and turned around to find the person on the bed fast asleep. He crept over quietly. Under the glow of the lamp, he could clearly see Ning Youji’s facial features. The Alpha in his susceptibility period had lost his fierce edge, replaced by a weary expression and a lingering flush on his cheeks. Lin Yan reached out to test the temperature of his forehead; it wasn’t as hot anymore.
His gaze lingered on Ning Youji’s face for a while until he couldn’t resist reaching out to poke it. “Who knew a face that looks so lean would be so fun to poke,” Lin Yan muttered with a chuckle before standing up and returning to his desk.
As soon as he left, the person on the bed opened his eyes.
Just as Lin Yan sat down, his phone on the desk vibrated. He quickly silenced it and glanced at the bed. Luckily, Ning Youji didn’t wake up. A notification from the “Cloud” app popped up.
Jiang Xue: Brother Lin, why did you hang up on me? Get on Cloud and accept the invite! [Call of Love]
Lin Yan clicked in and saw a group invitation.
Group Name: [Lin Daddy’s Son Group]
Lin Yan laughed and clicked “Accept.” As soon as he joined, Jiang Xue sent a message.
Jiang Xue: It is time for everyone to show their sincerity. Understand?
Six red envelopes appeared one after another, accompanied by messages of good fortune. Soon, Jiang Xue’s private chat popped up.
Jiang Xue: Brother Lin, hurry up and take the red envelopes! I just realized your ‘sons’ are actually pretty loaded!
The smile on Lin Yan’s face widened. This kid had so many tricks. Lin Yan definitely wouldn’t be polite; since these “sons” were determined to cling to him, he might as well collect some “elder’s fees.” When he saw the amounts in the red envelopes, his eyes widened slightly—they were indeed wealthy. He scrolled up through the chat history and found that the nicknames for him and Ning Youji had been debated thoroughly.
“Big Daddy Ning” and “Little Papa Lin.” That was their final decision.
Li Yang (No. 2 High): Big Daddy, Little Papa, Happy New Year!
Li Yang (No. 2 High): I heard from Brother Xue that Little Papa is spending New Year’s alone today. Why not come out and drink with us!
Ye Qinghuan (No. 5 High): Yeah! And we should celebrate Little Papa getting into the intelligence training!! You don’t know—when I heard Little Papa made it, I screamed right in the middle of the homeroom teacher’s class!
Su Zhi (No. 3 High): Come out and celebrate!
Xu Wei (No. 4 High): Little Papa, you really can’t turn down our invitation. We’ll be so sad if you do. [Crying.jpg]
Hearing them shout like this gave Lin Yan a strange illusion that he and Ning Youji were actually a couple. No, wait—why was he the “Little Papa”? He struggled with the title for a moment but decided to let it slide for the sake of the red envelope money.
Lin Daddy: Fine. Send me the address.
Lin Yan put down his phone and turned around, only to lock eyes with a pair of eyes darker than the night. “Why didn’t you say anything when you woke up?” Lin Yan shuffled over to the bed in his slippers. He hesitated for half a second before asking, “I’m going to a bar later. Do you want to stay home alone, or come with me?”
“A bar?” Ning Youji’s voice was hoarse, sounding as if he hadn’t rested well in a long time. “Are you going alone?”
“No,” Lin Yan said. “Those guys from the other schools want to hang out, so I agreed.”
Lin Yan realized that since Ning Youji was sick, going to such a place wasn’t ideal, but he also felt bad leaving him home alone. He thought for a moment and said, “Maybe I should just cancel and go another day.”
“It is fine.” Ning Youji lifted his eyelids and licked his dry lips. “I actually want to get some fresh air.”
In truth, he didn’t want to go at all. He felt weak all over and just wanted to stay in the Omega’s room. But thinking about the fact that those guys were all Alphas, he inexplicably couldn’t allow Lin Yan to go alone.
Ning Youji had broken out in a sweat, so Lin Yan suggested he take a shower. While Lin Yan was chatting with his “sons,” he heard a sound from the bathroom and looked up. The youth stood tall, and Lin Yan’s clothes surprisingly fit him well. Perhaps because the cold hadn’t fully passed, his usual cold aura had softened.
Lin Yan walked over to size him up, his gaze lingering on the boy’s waist. As if observing something, he suddenly reached out and pulled up Ning Youji’s T-shirt. Ning Youji’s tight abdominal muscles and perfect V-line were laid bare. The pants hung loosely on his hips, looking as if they might fall off after a few more steps.
“Oh ho.” Lin Yan narrowed his eyes with a mischievous grin and slapped Ning Youji’s waist. “Ning-ge, you have such a great body.”
Ning Youji grabbed Lin Yan’s wrist and stared straight at him. Lin Yan subconsciously looked up, crashing right into those eyes as deep as the night.
“Have you played enough?” Ning Youji leaned down, closing the distance.
“Who is… playing?” Lin Yan’s gaze flickered over the boy’s waist, where several red marks from his own hand remained. He turned away guiltily. “I was just checking if you needed a belt.” He then scrambled away in a flash.
Ning Youji buckled the belt and looked at Lin Yan’s waist. Lin Yan read the confusion in his eyes and explained, “I haven’t worn those pants; they are too big. I really didn’t mean to play a trick on you; I honestly thought they would fit.”
Lin Yan saw him nod, though he wasn’t sure if Ning Youji believed him. But that waist was truly attractive.
When the two left the house, the sky was already dark and the streets were bustling. The bar’s address wasn’t far from Lin Yan’s home, but considering Ning Youji was sick, they chose to take a taxi. When they arrived, the bar was packed with people. The phone in his pocket vibrated—it was the “Son Group.”
Li Yang (No. 2 High): Little Papa, we are in private room 207 on the second floor.
The crowd was so thick that the two were nearly separated. Lin Yan subconsciously grabbed Ning Youji’s wrist. They walked forward one after the other. Ning Youji’s gaze was fixed on the rounded back of the head in front of him, slowly moving down to the pale neck and the faintly visible tooth marks. The redness had faded, but the marks were still sharp—luckily, they were mostly hidden by the hood of the down jacket.
The noise was left behind them. Reaching the door of Room 207, Lin Yan looked down and realized he was still holding Ning Youji’s hand. He let go awkwardly.
When he pushed the door open, the room was exceptionally lively. Jiang Xue was pouring drinks when he saw Lin Yan enter and waved excitedly. “Here, here! Brother Lin!”
Ye Qinghuan from No. 5 High was singing, but upon hearing Jiang Xue, he glanced over. Seeing the person at the door, he shouted as if he had seen his biological father, “Little Papa!” Then, seeing the person behind Lin Yan, his voice went up an octave. “Big Daddy! Why are you here too?!”
His shout nearly blew the roof off the room. Everyone winced and covered their ears while looking toward the door. The two stood side-by-side. Ning Youji was slightly taller, and even in a bulky down jacket, he looked out of place with the environment—ascetic and indifferent. He didn’t look like he was there to party; he looked like he was there to lead a police raid. In contrast, the person next to him seemed much better suited for the scene, carrying a bit of a delinquent vibe.
Li Yang approached, sizing the two of them up. “Little Papa, what are you doing with Big Daddy Ning? Why did you show up together?” Having grown close, Li Yang no longer spoke with a sharp tongue but acted completely irreverent. He let out a few “ooh-ooh-oohs” to himself. “Spill it; we’re all family here. Are you two really like the rumors on the forums?”
“What rumors?” Lin Yan hadn’t been on the forums in ages; he was too busy with studying every day.
Li Yang curled his lips into a smirk and made a kissing gesture with his hands. “That kind of relationship.”
“Stop imagining things.” Lin Yan saw the gesture and kicked him. “Ning Youji and I have a purely innocent classmate relationship.” As if that weren’t enough, he repeated it. “Understand? Purely. Innocent. Classmate. Relationship!”
The more he emphasized it, the more it felt like he was trying to hide something. The others played along, but in their hearts, they didn’t believe a word of it. He is clearly your Alpha; we understand you’re just shy.
“Alright, the relationship doesn’t matter,” Ye Qinghuan said, putting down the microphone and raising a glass. “What matters is that both our Daddy and Little Papa made it into the intelligence training! Let’s toast!”
Li Yang picked up two cans of beer. “Exactly! This needs a proper celebration. Even our class monitor didn’t get in. That is so badass!”
A cold beer was shoved into Lin Yan’s hand. Seeing another about to be shoved into Ning Youji’s, Lin Yan snatched it away. “He’s sick; he can’t drink.”
“Really?” Li Yang smirked. “Or are you just a henpecked husband who won’t let him drink?”
Lin Yan: “…”
Hearing this, the others rushed forward. “Big Daddy is sick? Is it serious?”
Ning Youji’s face indeed didn’t look great, and his lips were pale, giving him an even more detached air. “I’m fine,” Ning Youji said hoarsely. “I’m much better now.”
“Then have some juice instead.” Jiang Xue handed him a glass of orange juice, which Ning Youji accepted.
Ye Qinghuan raised his glass. “I wish Big Daddy and Little Papa a long and happy life together, success in the intelligence training, and a Happy New Year!”
“Ooh, look at you using idioms,” Jiang Xue teased.
After some laughter and jokes, the group raised their glasses. Ye Qinghuan looked around and noticed Lu Xiangshi was missing. “Where is Lu Xiangshi? Why isn’t he here yet?”
“Him?” Jiang Xue mentioned the “Buzzcut.” He really hadn’t expected the usually arrogant kid to be a hidden genius. “He made it into the intelligence training too. He just messaged me saying his mom is making him do tutoring at home.”
“Tutoring on New Year’s Day,” Ye Qinghuan took a sip of beer and clicked his tongue. “How tragic.”
The group took this opportunity to take turns toasting Lin Yan. After two rounds, Lin Yan showed no signs of being drunk; instead, he seemed to grow more energized the more he drank. Seeing this, the group ordered two bottles of hard liquor to mix in. By the time one bottle was finished, Lin Yan’s head began to feel fuzzy.
Ning Youji sat to the side with his glass of juice, watching everything. It was somewhat unexpected that Lin Yan’s social circle was like this. They could have a fight and then go drinking together with their arms around each other’s shoulders. Whether they were happy or unhappy, it was all written on their faces—simple and easy to understand. Finally, a smile appeared on Ning Youji’s lips.
While Lin Yan was singing, he suddenly turned around and walked toward Ning Youji. He flopped onto the sofa, pressing half his weight against Ning Youji, and secretly pulled out his phone to hand it to him. He glanced around, let out a small burp from the alcohol, and whispered, “Ning-ge, if we get drunk later, use my phone to pay the bill.”
“The password is my birthday, 0812.”
He looked as if he were relaying a secret agent code. Ning Youji didn’t move, just looked at him. In front of them, the others were loudly playing drinking games and singing. Lin Yan clicked his tongue, thinking Ning Youji hadn’t heard him. He leaned closer to his ear and raised his volume. “The password is my birthday, 0812. Did you hear clearly?”
Lin Yan was so close that his warm lips brushed against Ning Youji’s earlobe as he spoke.
“Okay, I got it.”
Finally having successfully passed the “code,” Lin Yan smiled with satisfaction as if he had completed a major mission. He stood up and headed back to the stage. Jiang Xue was sitting at the song selection station. Seeing his “Big Brother” approach, he pulled him over and looked back at the youth leaning his head on his hand. The room was warm, and Ning Youji had taken off his down jacket at some point, wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt underneath. Because of his sitting position, a small section of his belt was visible.
Jiang Xue knew that belt all too well—it was the birthday gift he had given Lin Yan in ninth grade. No matter how much the rumors about Lin Yan and Ning Youji spread, Jiang Xue had always believed there was nothing between them. He only teased them for the fun of it.
“Brother Lin, tell me the truth.” Jiang Xue dropped his playful act and spoke seriously. “What is really going on with you and Ning Youji? Why is he wearing your clothes?”
Upon hearing this, the groggy Lin Yan suddenly felt half-sober. He turned guiltily to look at Ning Youji. This turn exposed the gland on the back of his neck to Jiang Xue.
“Wait!” Jiang Xue pulled down Lin Yan’s jacket hood a bit more, clearly seeing the ring of deep red tooth marks. They were slightly swollen, looking as if they had been made recently. “You guys… you guys…” Jiang Xue was incoherent. “Lin Yan, you didn’t, did you? You two moved that fast…”
Lin Yan was now completely sober. He reached back to cover his neck and clicked his tongue. “It is not what you think.”
“Then what is it?” Jiang Xue frowned. As a brother, he knew that marking was a huge deal that couldn’t be taken lightly—it was a life-altering event for an Omega. “Lin Yan, am I still the person you trust the most?”
Lin Yan answered without hesitation, “Yes.” In his past life, his greatest joy and luck was knowing Jiang Xue and the other brothers.
“Then tell me the truth.”
Lin Yan thought about Ning Youji’s condition, hesitated, and then said, “It is because our pheromones are highly compatible. He helps me through my heat cycles. You know I’m a bit afraid of needles.”
No one would have guessed that the great school bully of First High was actually afraid of injections. Jiang Xue knew this about Lin Yan.
“Highly compatible pheromones?” Jiang Xue lowered his voice. “So you let him mark you to get through your heat?”
Lin Yan gave a “mhm.” “So it really isn’t what you guys think.”
“And Ning Youji was willing?” Jiang Xue truly couldn’t understand. “He just agreed without a word?”
Lin Yan thought to himself: If he wasn’t willing, where did the tooth marks come from? But thinking about how Ning Youji only bit him because of his medical condition made his heart ache slightly with a dull feeling. He felt a bit like a tool. Then he reconsidered—actually, the two of them were even; they were just helping each other out.
“He’s actually a pretty good person,” Lin Yan said lightly, acting as if it weren’t a big deal. “Besides, it is just a temporary mark.”
Jiang Xue: “…”
Jiang Xue had always known Lin Yan was carefree; in his eyes, even a huge problem was a small matter, let alone a temporary mark. But if Lin Yan didn’t understand, did Ning Youji not understand either? Then again, it really was just a temporary mark. An Alpha could mark multiple Omegas. He was still puzzled.
“Alright, don’t think too much about it.” Lin Yan raised his glass and put an arm around Jiang Xue’s shoulder. “Come on, let’s have a drink.” He tilted his head back and downed the hard liquor in one go.
As he stood up, his gaze met Ning Youji’s. Ning Youji beckoned him over. Lin Yan was a bit dazed—perhaps due to the influence of the Alpha’s temporary mark, he walked forward obediently. He sat down next to Ning Youji and poured another drink. Just as he was about to down it, a hand snatched the glass away.
Ning Youji tilted his head and swirled the glass. “Stop drinking. You’ll have a headache tomorrow.”
Ye Qinghuan snatched the glass from Ning Youji’s hand from behind. “You guys can’t play like this! It is no fun if neither of you drinks!”
Li Yang, swaying with a slight buzz, walked over. “You two really are a match made in heaven. You controlling him, him controlling you.”
Lin Yan glared at him, leaned forward to take the glass, and said, “He’s just envious and jealous of us drinking.” He mischievously waved the glass in front of Ning Youji’s eyes.
Ning Youji grabbed his wrist and took a sip directly from the glass in Lin Yan’s hand. The youth’s eyes curved upward, and his voice was soft and raspy. “You’re drunk. I’ll take you back later.”
“…”
A faint smile appeared on Lin Yan’s lips. He patted Ning Youji’s shoulder. “Then I’ll be in your care, Ning-ge.”
In the private room, beer cans were everywhere, the liquor bottles were empty, and several people were slumped on the sofa. Only Ning Youji remained sober. Lin Yan usually had a high tolerance, but today the mixed drinks had hit him hard. The alcohol showed on his face—redness spread from his face down to his neck, and even his fingertips were flushed.
Perhaps influenced by the pheromones, the drunken Lin Yan slumped next to Ning Youji, curled up like a shrimp, and kept pressing against him. Ning Youji leaned against the back of the sofa, resting Lin Yan’s head on his lap. He brushed the stray hairs from Lin Yan’s face, revealing his handsome features. His gaze accidentally brushed over Lin Yan’s neck, and a smile appeared at the corners of his mouth.
Little Omega. The little Omega who depends on me.
Ning Youji helped Lin Yan out of the room and left a few instructions with the front desk. “The people in Room 207 are all drunk. Please keep an eye on them. If they need to take a taxi home, please help them call one. Thank you.”
The waiter replied, “Okay, no problem.” This bar had surveillance everywhere and many customers stayed overnight after getting drunk; it was reliably safe.
On the way back, Lin Yan woke up. He didn’t make a scene or act rowdy; he was quiet, sitting right next to Ning Youji. Seeing his eyes were glazed and he was being so obedient, Ning Youji mimicked Lin Yan’s earlier action and poked his flushed cheek. “You’re drunk. Do you feel bad?”
Lin Yan tilted his head, his gaze blank, and nodded. “I feel bad.”
Ning Youji chuckled. He didn’t expect that someone usually so restless would have such good manners when drunk; it was quite cute.
He stayed well-behaved all the way to the front door. Seeing he wasn’t moving, Ning Youji’s eyes curved slightly. “Where are the keys?”
Lin Yan stood still behind Ning Youji, holding onto the hem of his jacket. “In the pocket.”
“Pull them out.” Ning Youji pulled him to the front.
Lin Yan repeated, “In the pocket.”
Hearing him, Ning Youji couldn’t hold back a laugh. He reached into Lin Yan’s pocket and pulled out the keys. After Ning Youji locked the door, someone suddenly bumped into his back, and a head began to nuzzle against him. His waist was encircled by arms. Fearing the person behind him would fall, Ning Youji grabbed his wrist and led him to the sofa.
Lin Yan didn’t let go, staring straight at Ning Youji for a long while. He suddenly lunged forward, unzipped Ning Youji’s down jacket, and pulled at the exposed belt, muttering, “This is mine.”
Taken by surprise, Ning Youji froze. After reacting, he helplessly played along. “Yes, yours.”
“Give it to me.” Lin Yan’s hand had somehow already reached out to unbuckle it. With a clink, the belt was open.
“…” Ning Youji’s brow twitched. He looked down, letting Lin Yan do as he pleased. Lin Yan pulled the belt out and carefully hid it behind his back. After hiding it, he stared at Ning Youji’s T-shirt.
A sense of foreboding grew stronger. Before Ning Youji could move away, Lin Yan lunged again, pulling at the collar of the shirt. He pouted. “This is mine too.”
Ning Youji pressed a hand to his forehead. He had been naive to think this person had good manners when drunk; he was practically a bandit. If this continued, things would get out of hand.
” I will give it to you later.” Ning Youji’s throat felt itchy as he tried to get the Omega off of him.
“No.” Lin Yan pressed his whole weight against Ning Youji, refusing to let go of the collar. “I want it now.”
“…”
Seeing the person wouldn’t give it to him, Lin Yan raised his eyebrows and put on his “school bully” face, holding up a fist. “Take it off quickly, or do you believe I’ll hit you?”
“Fine, you get up first.” Ning Youji shook his head helplessly. “I’ll take it off and give it to you, okay?”
Lin Yan sat up, staring at him with glazed eyes like an eagle watching its prey, without blinking. Ning Youji took off the shirt, revealing his tight abdominal muscles and the V-line that disappeared into his pants. Having obtained what he wanted, Lin Yan hid it behind him again, like a little hamster hoarding food for the winter.
Now Ning Youji was left with only the loose pants hanging on his hips. Having hidden his loot, Lin Yan turned back. Seeing the prey sitting still, he predictably leaned in again. Ning Youji thought he wanted the pants, but instead, Lin Yan reached down and flicked the fabric. He blinked innocently. “I’ve never worn these. See how good I am to you?”
Ning Youji: “…”
Lin Yan looked up with a smile, his dimples becoming very prominent. “Since I’m so good to you, will you let me have a bite?” His tone was like a child acting spoiled to get candy.
“…” Ning Youji raised a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose, trying to catch his breath. Being with a drunk person was truly difficult. He had to exercise restraint while allowing the other to flirt with him.
Lin Yan seemed very dissatisfied with his attitude and crawled up a bit further. The distance between them vanished. Lin Yan pressed against his chest and said piteously, “You’ve bitten me so many times. Can’t I just have one bite?”
As he spoke, the Omega’s instinct released pheromones. A sweet, fragrant scent invisibly brushed over the Alpha—it was like scratching a lion’s nose. He had never properly released pheromones when sober, yet he was using them skillfully now.
Ning Youji gazed silently at the Omega before him. Finally, he sighed in concession. “Fine.” It seemed he had no power to refuse this person.
With Ning Youji’s permission, Lin Yan sat behind the Alpha. The little Omega acted as if he had received a cherished toy, staring at the patch of skin on the back of the Alpha’s neck without blinking, as if he had been eyeing it for a long time. An Alpha exposing their gland was equivalent to a lion rolling over to reveal its belly—the most vulnerable part.
The air was filled with the light woody scent of the Alpha and the floral scent of the Omega, which was sweeter than before. The two scents merged into an exceptionally pleasant aroma. Ning Youji felt the person behind him hesitate, like they had received a precious toy and didn’t want to break it.
“Bite quickly. After you’re done, go to sleep.” Ning Youji wasn’t wearing a shirt and his cold hadn’t fully passed; he feared his condition would worsen if this went on.
As soon as he finished speaking, the Omega leaned in. Although an Omega lacks an Alpha’s sharp teeth, Lin Yan had a pair of canines. Ning Youji endured the pain from behind, suppressing his body’s instinct to resist. The veins on his forehead bulged and his hands were clenched tight.
After a long, long time, the Omega finally let go. Perhaps satisfied with his “cherished toy,” he slumped against the Alpha’s shoulder, his breathing gradually becoming even. Ning Youji propped himself up for a moment to calm his nerves, then slowly turned around and took the sleeping Omega into his arms.
He picked up the discarded T-shirt and put it back on, then carried Lin Yan into the bedroom and tucked him into bed. Ning Youji sat on the edge of the bed, covering his gland which now bore the Omega’s tooth marks. His eyes were soft.
“Little rogue. You have to take responsibility after marking someone.”
