- Chapter 86 - You Help Me Change My Clothes
“Pick it up; she might have something to discuss with me.”
Xu Chengjin didn’t think much of it. She felt her way along the wall, step by step, until her hand brushed against a chair, and she carefully sat down. “Did you pick up?”
The ringing continued persistently. Xu Chengjin couldn’t help but urge, “Si—”
“Hello, Xiao Jin.”
Jin Xi’s tone sounded perfectly normal. “Have you arrived?”
“I arrived not long ago,” Xu Chengjin said, taking the phone over. “Is Sister with you? Say hello to her for me.”
Jin Xi agreed obediently. “Sure. But I’m calling to ask if you want to go out for a group dinner tonight. Wu Boran and Hui Lan are both very worried about you, and Sister is coming along too.”
“Is everyone going?” Xu Chengjin thought about it carefully. She reached out her hand into the air, grasping for a while before finally catching Si Yu’s hand. “Then Si Yu should come with me. Everyone can get to know each other, and it’s a good time to mention the engagement.”
There was a few seconds of silence on the other end of the line. Then, Xu Chengjin heard Jin Xi’s laughter. “Alright, that works out perfectly since we can head back together afterward. Sister will send the address to President Si in a moment.”
“Okay, hanging up now.”
Xu Chengjin heard the “beep” of the call ending, followed immediately by the notification sound of a message. She tilted her head slightly. “Is that a message from Sister?”
Si Yu looked down at the screen. “Yes, she sent an address. She said it starts at 6:30 PM, so we can just leave at 5:30.”
“Okay.”
Xu Chengjin let out a yawn; she was feeling a bit sleepy. Shaking Si Yu’s hand, she whispered, “I want to sleep.”
“Then I’ll take you to the room to rest.”
Si Yu gripped Xu Chengjin’s hand tightly. “Move slowly. Sleep for a while, and I’ll wake you up when lunch is ready.”
“Okay.”
Xu Chengjin didn’t resist. Her steps weren’t very large, but each one was decisive—it was clear she trusted Si Yu deeply. This house wasn’t particularly big and wasn’t a multi-story structure, which made it easier for her to navigate and reduced many potential dangers.
“Change your clothes.”
Si Yu found a set of pajamas for Xu Chengjin. The latter curled her lips into a smile. “Guess what color this outfit is?”
Xu Chengjin held the clothes and rubbed the fabric. The texture was excellent, feeling like flowing water, as if it might slip from her hands at any second. She smiled silently. “White.”
“Wrong.”
Si Yu pinched Xu Chengjin’s earlobe, her fingertip kneading it very gently. “It’s light green.”
“Fine, I guessed wrong then.” Xu Chengjin feigned fear. She sat back a bit further on the bed, her body leaning back slightly. “So, are you going to punish me?”
Punishment… Si Yu hadn’t actually thought about it, but since Xu Chengjin had brought it up herself, she certainly wasn’t going to let the opportunity slip by.
Si Yu cleared her throat and deliberately deepened her voice. “Of course I will. Are you scared?”
As she spoke, she leaned down, hovering over Xu Chengjin. Si Yu’s finger slid across the other woman’s neck, her tone very light. “Beg me. If you beg me, I’ll let you off.”
“I’m so scared.” Xu Chengjin said she was scared, but the smile on her face never faded. “How do you want to punish me? Are you going to bully me?”
“How would I dare bully you?” Si Yu lowered her head, burying it in the crook of Xu Chengjin’s neck. Her tongue brushed against her very lightly, like a puppy or a kitten showing affection to its owner. The warm, moist sensation caused Xu Chengjin’s eyes to widen instantly. She turned her head away unnaturally. “What are you doing?”
“I didn’t do anything.”
Si Yu wore an expression of pure innocence. “What do you think I’m doing?”
“I don’t know.”
Xu Chengjin gave Si Yu a push and let out a soft hum. “Get up, I need to change.”
“Okay.”
Si Yu stopped teasing her. She rose from the other woman’s body and straightened the pajamas, placing them back in Xu Chengjin’s arms. “You change first; I’m going to go cook.”
Xu Chengjin had just taken the clothes when she heard this and looked up. Her lips parted, her hand suddenly tightening its grip. A second later, she called out loudly: “Si Yu!”
“You… help me change my clothes.”
