The Seductive Succubus Always Abandons After Playing (Quick Transmigration) - Chapter 23.1
The phone vibrated. Pei Yingjue took it out and saw a message from Chen Liao.
[Chen Liao: I saw the photos of you two. You look good together.]
[Pei Yingjue: Thank you.]
[Chen Liao: Did you give him the ring yet?]
Pei Yingjue’s gaze faltered. A month ago, he had asked Chen Liao to find a retired designer to craft a pair of rings. This gift was still hidden in a corner at home, undiscovered by Su Yi.
[Pei Yingjue: The time is not right.]
Before Chen Liao could reply, hurried footsteps echoed down the empty corridor. Pei Yingjue immediately looked up. The sound came from the main hall; it was a boy he did not recognize. Pei Yingjue withdrew his gaze and checked the time. It had been twenty minutes since Su Yi left. Did a solo interview take this long?
“Student Pei.”
As Pei Yingjue was thinking, the boy walked up to him. His cheeks were slightly flushed, and his eyes were fixed directly on him. He had his hands behind his back, hiding something. Looking at his expression, Pei Yingjue took a step back. “You are?”
The boy looked startled and quickly explained, “I also participated in this league. Our team got fourth place; you might not know me. But I have noticed you since the day the league started.”
Listening to the boy’s words, Pei Yingjue frowned slightly.
“I like you, Student Pei. This is my love letter. Please accept it!” Suddenly, the boy summoned his courage and thrust a pink love letter in front of Pei Yingjue.
Pei Yingjue looked down at the letter. “I am sorry.”
As soon as those words came out, the boy’s expression went blank.
“Ah, I have come at a bad time.”
A慵懶 (lazy) voice sounded. Pei Yingjue turned his head to see Su Yi standing at the corner, his gaze shifting between the two. Landing on the frozen boy, Su Yi raised an eyebrow and walked forward with a chuckle, draping an arm around him. “I recognize you. You are from the Bai family.”
Feeling the arm around his neck, the boy finally snapped out of it. He nodded at Su Yi with a pale face. “Yes.”
Su Yi looked at his strained expression, then at the love letter hanging by his leg. He leaned in close to the boy and sniffed. Pei Yingjue frowned.
“Are you drunk? I saw your teammates playing games when I came in. They were shouting for you, wondering why you had been gone so long.”
Hearing this, the boy looked up at Su Yi. Realizing what was being implied, he gave Su Yi a grateful look before turning back to Pei Yingjue. “I am sorry. I am a little drunk.”
Pei Yingjue shook his head.
“I will leave now,” the boy said. Su Yi nodded and let him go.
Once he left, Su Yi looked at Pei Yingjue, meeting his dark, heavy gaze. “What is wrong?” Su Yi asked.
Pei Yingjue took a step forward and tried to hook his finger into Su Yi’s. Just as he was about to hold his hand, Su Yi pulled away. Pei Yingjue’s hand hung in mid-air, grasping at nothing. His eyes darkened as he looked at Su Yi.
“My family has not left yet. Do you want to go public with our relationship?” Su Yi turned back with a beaming smile, showing no sign of abnormality. “Babe, as much as I want to, it is better to wait a bit.”
Pei Yingjue thought of Wu Qingmei and Su Wenzhang’s attitude toward Su Yi, and he eventually withdrew his hand. “Okay. How was the interview?”
“A bit of a hassle.” Su Yi took his shawl from Pei Yingjue. He straightened it out, picking off a stray hair and throwing it away. “They might call for you later. Let us go to the hall.”
Su Yi walked ahead. Pei Yingjue stayed a step behind, looking at his back and pursing his lips. An indistinct unease stirred in his heart.
When they reached the hall, Su Wenzhang and Wu Qingmei were already gone, and the ceremony was nearing its end. Su Yi and Pei Yingjue were not called for another interview.
As soon as they got home, before Su Yi could even turn on the lights, he was pressed against the entrance wall. Su Yi panted, trying to take off his tight clothes, but before he could reach out, Pei Yingjue grabbed him and pinned him against the shoe cabinet. The salty scent of sea water pheromones exploded instantly. Su Yi tilted his head back with a sharp gasp.
“Babe, you are so impatient,” Su Yi joked as he regained his senses. He was answered by a gripping hand and a fierce kiss.
Pei Yingjue held his face, kissing him intensely and invading his space. Su Yi could only respond with a smile, slowly backing away until the small of his back hit the cabinet, leaving him no room to retreat. In the darkness, only the sound of wet kisses and the rustle of clothes could be heard.
“Do you want to do it here?” Su Yi quickly grabbed Pei Yingjue’s hand. The pomegranate scent on him had reached a dense intensity. Unsurprisingly, he was aroused.
Pei Yingjue lowered his head to kiss him, his voice raspy. “Is that not okay?”
Su Yi chuckled, tilting his head to kiss him back. He naturally wrapped his legs around the other’s waist, whispering seductively, “Of course it is, but I am afraid you will not be able to use your full strength here.”
Pei Yingjue pulled his legs up firmly, shifted him, and intentionally bit Su Yi’s ear, saying sincerely, “Thank you for your concern.”
The entrance was too small. Before long, Su Yi started complaining about the discomfort. Pei Yingjue had to carry him upstairs to the bedroom. They moved slowly, and Su Yi was teased until tears flowed uncontrollably down his face. When he was pressed onto the bed, he was still trembling, reaching out for a kiss.
Pei Yingjue did not give him what he wanted, instead using a finger to press against his lips.
“Mm?” Su Yi looked at Pei Yingjue blankly.
“Yi Yi, are you hiding something from me?” In the darkness, Pei Yingjue looked down at Su Yi.
Su Yi’s eyes were unfocused. It took a while for him to center his gaze on Pei Yingjue. He raised an eyebrow and thrust upward against him. Hearing the muffled groan forced out of the other man, Su Yi panted, “Yes. Pei Yingjue, you are so slow.”
The next instant, hot hands gripped his waist. Su Yi’s eyes widened suddenly. Even his twitching succubus tail went rigid.
Then the world spun. Su Yi was stimulated until he could not even scream, pinned ruthlessly to the bed. Pei Yingjue leaned down to bite his lips, swallowing all his moans.
“I see.”
With that, he sped up his movements. Ignoring the way Su Yi’s tears soaked the sheets or the way he hit and hammered at him, Pei Yingjue only leaned into Su Yi’s ear, demanding in a low, husky voice, “Yi Yi, why did you not tell that person I am your boyfriend?”
Su Yi’s eyes were glazed. He looked at Pei Yingjue a beat too late, a tear falling as he was jolted. Pei Yingjue leaned down to kiss that tear away, saying tirelessly, “Next time someone asks, remember to say I am your boyfriend. Do you hear me?”
“Wu,” Su Yi whimpered, turning his head as his body trembled.
Before he could hide, Pei Yingjue pinned his shoulders, forcing him to open up. The dense waves of pleasure stimulated Su Yi until his purple eyes were brimming with tears.
“What are you going to say next time?” Pei Yingjue persisted.
Su Yi blinked, his tears falling like broken strings. Finally, he was forced to cry out, “I know, I know! You are my boyfriend! Wu!”
Pei Yingjue smirked and kissed his lips tenderly. Su Yi thought he was saved and pleasingly stuck out the tip of his tongue to lick him, his resisting hands losing their strength. But the hand pressed against his lower abdomen pushed down without mercy.
Su Yi’s eyes widened, and his short horns hit the headboard hard. Pei Yingjue gently gripped his trembling, slender waist and said in a deep voice, “Good boy.”
Afterward, Su Yi refused to lean against the bed. He sat on the sofa in a half donned bathrobe, his marks partially exposed.
“I hate you.” Su Yi glared at Pei Yingjue with red eyes. The scratch marks on the other man were no better than his own, but he blamed Pei Yingjue for refusing to stop.
Pei Yingjue paused while changing the sheets. He looked at Su Yi on the sofa; his collar was open, and from above, the bite marks on his fair skin were clearly visible.
“You looked like you enjoyed it,” Pei Yingjue said honestly. “And you have been shaking the whole time.”
Su Yi stood up instantly, but he moved too fast; his legs went weak, and he almost fell. Fortunately, Pei Yingjue caught him quickly.
“I am sorry.” Pei Yingjue looked down at him, his tone sincere.
Su Yi glared at him indignantly, grabbed the bath towel from the sofa, and prepared to walk to the bathroom. He had not gone two steps before his wrist was caught.
“I will help you. The bathroom floor is too slippery,” Pei Yingjue said.
Su Yi looked back at him. “Babe, have mercy. I do not want to go another round.” With that, he pulled his hand away and limped toward the bathroom.
Pei Yingjue touched the bridge of his nose. He had indeed been a bit of a bully. Since the treatment ended, Pei Yingjue had felt a constant unease. Certain words or actions from Su Yi would trigger a dark possessiveness in his heart. They were Alphas who could not mark each other, and they no longer had the excuse of treatment to bind them together.
Was there any way to bind Su Yi to himself forever?
It would be great if I could lock Su Yi by my side. Pei Yingjue’s eyes darkened as he watched the blurry figure in the bathroom. He watched for a moment then shook his head, trying to cast out the impure thoughts.
After Pei Yingjue finished changing all the sheets and pillowcases, Su Yi was still washing up. Pei Yingjue walked to the desk and opened the right drawer. He reached inside and felt along the edge until he found a protrusion, then pressed it firmly.
Click.
A hidden compartment popped out, containing a small wooden box. Pei Yingjue took it out and opened it. Inside were a jade pendant and a card. He still remembered how he felt the first time he saw these two items: anger, absurdity, and confusion.
At countless moments in the past, he had hated the biological parents he had never met. Every time he thought of them, he imagined a day in the future where he would throw these two items in their faces and leave with indifference. He thought he did not care. But to truly not care meant there would be no hate and no constant preoccupation. Perhaps he was unsatisfied, or aggrieved, or simply wanted revenge.
Until today, when he stood before Su Wenzhang and Wu Qingmei, he truly realized the root of these emotions. He did not understand. He did not understand why he was abandoned, why he had no parents, or why he had no home. All of this was answered the moment he saw them. Even if Wu Qingmei and Su Wenzhang told him the reason right then, he would not believe or accept it. At that moment, he only had one thought: he did not want these two people to ruin his new home. That was all.
Thus, the imagined confrontation, the mockery, and the questioning never happened. Pei Yingjue simply clinked glasses with them calmly, seeing them for who they were. That was enough. He no longer needed these two items to seek answers.
Thinking this, he took out the pendant and the card and looked toward the trash can in the corner.
When Su Yi came out of the bathroom, Pei Yingjue was waiting for him on the sofa. He walked up, hooked his arms around Pei Yingjue’s neck, and kissed his lips. “Your turn.”
Pei Yingjue held him and kissed him until he was breathless before getting up.
As the bathroom door closed, Su Yi picked up a towel to dry his hair and reached for his phone on the nightstand. The screen lit up, and Su Yi froze.
[Su Yi: Before you enter the Alliance, settle everything.]
[On the night you confirmed Pei Yingjue has no intention of fighting you for your identity, you received a text from your brother. He wants you to fulfill the original agreement two weeks before entering the Alliance. You look at the message and choose:]
-
- A. Break up with Pei Yingjue
-
- B. Agree to Su Yi’s request
-
- C. Confess everything
[003, this is bad! The probabilities for a Happy Ending and a Bad Ending are now equal!] 777 jumped out.
Equal. This meant any decision Su Yi made next would directly influence Judge A11’s assessment of the ending. This required careful thought.
Su Yi’s mind raced. His gaze drifted aimlessly around the room. Time ticked by. His glazed grey eyes blinked and suddenly focused on the trash can in the corner. Was the trash bag stretched that tight before he went to shower?
Without a second thought, Su Yi walked over. He pulled aside the top layer of tissues and searched downward. When he reached the middle, he saw a ball made of crumpled old newspaper. He did not remember throwing away trash like that. Pei Yingjue had thrown this away.
Su Yi glanced quickly at the bathroom. The sound of running water continued. He knelt down, took the item out, and peeled away the newspaper layers until a corner of white appeared.
It was jade.
Su Yi moved faster until the object was fully revealed before his eyes. It was a jade pendant carved with a dragon. Beneath the pendant was a card. Pei Yingjue had thrown them away so easily.
Su Yi’s expression was unreadable as he looked at the items. What should he choose?
The sound of water stopped. In a flash, Su Yi made his decision. He wrapped the newspaper back up, put it back in the trash can, and covered it with the other trash. Finally, he pulled out a few wet wipes, cleaned his hands, and threw those in too.
When Pei Yingjue came out of the bathroom, he saw Su Yi sitting on the edge of the bed. A damp towel was draped over the laundry basket, and damp hair fell over his forehead, but his eyes were glued to his phone.
Pei Yingjue frowned slightly, walked over, and blocked Su Yi’s view with his hand. Only then did Su Yi look up. His innocent eyes looked at him in confusion. “What is wrong?”
The words Pei Yingjue was about to say got stuck. He picked up a clean towel, draped it over Su Yi’s head, and rubbed gently. “Keep looking.”
