- The Seductive Beauty Sinks Into the Shura Field [Quick Transmigration]
- Chapter 6 - Twisted Envy
After the encounter was over, Chi Wenqiu dressed in his formal suit once again to continue his work. He covered the marks on his body where he could. Those he could not, he exposed openly, unbothered by any potential impact on his reputation.
Qu Sinian followed leisurely behind, watching his young assistant, whose aura of detachment was so strong it warned strangers to keep their distance. Qu’s possessiveness was nearly overflowing. As they shared the elevator, he thoroughly enjoyed the startled glances from others.
Three years ago, Qu Sinian would never have imagined that he would one day care so deeply for someone, even granting him a level of affection that he had never shown his own son.
“It is a private meeting. I will wait outside; I will not be going in.” Chi Wenqiu handed over the documents. His face, still bearing faint teeth marks, was a picture of indifference. He behaved as professionally as if their recent intimacy had never happened.
The man raised an eyebrow, gave a slight tug on the corner of Chi’s clothes, and whispered, “Are you looking for another thrashing?”
“No. I am an outsider; I have no place in this board meeting.”
Before he could finish, the man gripped his head without a word and pulled him into a kiss. Before Chi Wenqiu could twist away or push him off, he was pinned against the wall. Fortunately, there were not many people passing by, though the overhead cameras were certainly not just for show.
“Qu Sinian.” His lips were caught between teeth and meticulously toyed with, sucked until his tongue and mouth felt numb and aching. Caught off guard by a rush of saliva he could not swallow in time, Chi Wenqiu broke away, covering his mouth as he coughed.
“Xiao Qiu?” A tall man came to a halt in front of them. He was exceptionally handsome, with blond hair and blue eyes, looking at him with concern.
“President Fu.” Chi Wenqiu wiped the moisture from his lips and stood tall to greet him.
Fu Ruhuan asked solicitously, “Are you alright? You look as though you have suffered a great grievance. You should reconsider what I told you before. I will wait for you, forever.”
Qu Sinian watched them with indifference, listening as Chi Wenqiu replied in a voice devoid of emotion, “I am sorry, President Fu. President Qu treats me very well and has not been harsh with me. I will not be considering a job change. The meeting is about to start; please head inside.”
Ignoring the murderous glare behind him, Fu Ruhuan looked at Chi Wenqiu with deep affection. “Come in with us. When you are not by my side, I always feel as if something is missing.”
Just as Chi Wenqiu was about to refuse, Qu Sinian spoke up unexpectedly: “It is alright, Wenqiu. We ‘old fossils’ will not eat you alive.”
“Yes, Master.”
Upon hearing this, Fu Ruhuan shot a resentful glance at Qu Sinian, who was smiling like a cunning fox.
While the senior leaders of other companies had not brought assistants, Qu Sinian was high-profile enough to break the rules. Chi Wenqiu stood with a straight posture and efficient manner beside Qu Sinian, keeping his eyes downward and his mind focused.
Yet, the eyes of the men in the room drifted toward his face, intentionally or otherwise.
It could not be helped; he was too beautiful. With a slender waist, long legs, and skin so pale it seemed to glow, his features were delicate and feminine, yet his temperament was cold and detached. This was a combination that provoked a restless itch in people’s hearts. When he leaned over to explain a product to Qu Sinian, the sight of his rounded curves tightening against his suit trousers was provocative and inflammatory.
Even ignoring his face, that aura of a mature “house husband” radiating from within was enough to bewitch anyone. Forgetting for a moment that they were in a meeting, the men felt their throats grow dry as they stared at his slender fingertips gripping a pen.
They could almost imagine the sensation of those beautiful hands massaging their own bodies.
With the lethally beautiful Chi Wenqiu by his side, almost no one dared to challenge Qu Sinian. The man was cunning; knowing Chi Wenqiu’s massive impact, he used him as a shield, leaving his partners grumbling under their breaths.
Having given all his tenderness to Chi Wenqiu, Qu Sinian was exceptionally cold and decisive in business. He was like a general ruthless in battle. The other partners, already wavering in morale, were rendered silent.
Only his long-time rival, Fu Ruhuan, spoke up a couple of times. But when Chi Wenqiu intervened, Fu immediately dropped his hard stance and compromised quite simply.
The moment the meeting ended, Qu Sinian pestered Chi Wenqiu for intimacy. In the past, Chi Wenqiu was a fresh-faced university student—green and naive—who avoided unintentional physical contact like a little hedgehog wrapped in prickles that no one could touch.
Who would have thought that he would now be Qu Sinian’s capable assistant and bed partner? Lingering in pleasure day and night, the man had become insatiable, wanting to occupy a vital place in Chi’s heart.
Stroking Chi Wenqiu’s damp hair, he said, “If you like Qu Jing, I can let him join us.”
“Head of the house,” Chi Wenqiu warned in a low voice.
“Haha, why are you getting angry?”
“Do not forget what you told me before: that you would not force me into things I dislike and would give me proper respect.” Chi Wenqiu had his own bottom line. His goal was merely to “conquer” Qu Sinian. Once the task was complete, he would not stay for a second longer. However, his favorability rating had stalled, making him feel a bit anxious.
He also knew that if he simply agreed to marry Qu Sinian, his conquest plan would become even harder to implement. Once someone is caught, they often stop cherishing what they have.
Chi Wenqiu was not sensitive to emotions, and he was especially cautious with the difficult-to-capture Qu Sinian. He had spent a long time learning how to please others and did not want his hard work to go up in flames.
Qu Sinian was also lost in thought. He had not expected that sending Chi Wenqiu to deal with his rival Fu Ruhuan back then would result in Fu falling in love at first sight with his “property.” Fu had been pestering him for two years without any intention of letting go; in fact, he was becoming more aggressive.
Qu was confident that Chi Wenqiu would not accept the kindness of others, but he had to remain vigilant against others taking advantage of a weak moment. He did not dare push Chi Wenqiu too hard, yet he did not want to take things slowly either.
He had already been slow for over two years. He wished he could drag Chi Wenqiu to the Civil Affairs Bureau immediately to legalize their status.
At noon, Chi Wenqiu and Qu Sinian were ordering at a restaurant. Having mastered Qu Sinian’s tastes, Chi did not even need to ask to know what he wanted to eat.
Today, Qu Sinian stared at him for an unusually long time. Chi Wenqiu looked up calmly and asked, “Is there something on my face?”
“Yes, my beautiful teeth marks.”
Chi Wenqiu’s lips curved into a slight smile. “They are quite beautiful.”
His smile was like a night-blooming cereus, a fleeting glimpse, but even after it faded, Qu Sinian could not forget it. Pressing his tongue against the roof of his mouth, he felt an itch in his heart. He wanted to pin Chi Wenqiu down right then and there.
Feeling a tickle against his leg, Chi Wenqiu silently pulled his leg back, but the other party became even more bold. The sensation crawled up from his calf, passing right against the root of his thigh.
Chi Wenqiu sighed helplessly, apologized to the waiter, and said they would not be eating. He paid the bill as usual and walked quickly back to the private car.
As soon as he opened the door and sat inside, he was immediately scooped up by the man’s thick arms. A hot breath fell over him, making Chi Wenqiu feel momentarily suffocated. He draped his arms loosely around the man’s neck.
Suddenly, his phone vibrated and rang, interrupting their intimacy. Chi Wenqiu sat up to answer.
“Were you not supposed to serve me? I need to go to school right now!”
“Understood. Please wait a moment.”
Half an hour later, Chi Wenqiu hurried back to the Qu residence. Qu Jing stood with his arms crossed, waiting impatiently, tapping his feet in the latest branded sneakers. When he saw the man approaching, he tossed his backpack over.
Chi Wenqiu: “Young Master, have you had lunch? Would you like to—”
“Stop nagging, hurry up!” Qu Jing was impatient. “I am not taking your car.”
Chi Wenqiu asked, “Then how shall we go?”
“Hmph, I will not make you walk, do not worry.” Qu Jing saw the fresh marks on Chi Wenqiu’s body and felt a surge of anger, but then felt a bit of relief knowing he had interrupted them.
Chi Wenqiu followed him silently to the underground garage and saw a heavy motorcycle.
“Can you ride?”
“Rarely.”
“Get on the back.” Qu Jing had not touched a bike in over a year and was itching for it. The two got on. As their legs brushed against each other, the young master’s heart skipped a beat. He said dissatisfiedly, “If you are scared, deal with it. Do not hold onto me; I do not like physical contact. If you do, I will throw you off.”
Chi Wenqiu was indeed a bit nervous, but he managed to suppress the urge and did not touch him at all. Qu Jing intentionally drove very fast, almost as if they were flying. Chi Wenqiu, accustomed to a stable life, rarely experienced such thrilling speeding. His face went pale, and he could not say a word.
The wind howled against his face, stinging, but as he regained his senses, he slowly became excited, his eyes shining brightly.
Seeing his curved eyes through the mirror, Qu Jing was surprised by how quickly he had adapted. “You like it?”
“It is not bad.”
This was not the way to school, but Chi Wenqiu was wise enough not to ask. He waited until Qu Jing had vented his energy before they stopped for a break. When he got off, his legs were a bit sore and numb. As he nearly lost his balance, someone supported him.
The young man’s arm was very strong. His large-framed hand easily circled Chi’s wrist. His thumb, adorned with a small mole, rubbed against the skin somewhat ambiguously. The itching sensation tugged at Chi’s heartstrings. Chi Wenqiu looked up at him, then discreetly turned his wrist to pull away.
It was likely just an inadvertent movement, but it made Qu Jing pay special attention. He felt that the look in Chi’s eyes was full of allure, a deliberate little trick to seduce people.
Chi Wenqiu always avoided the gaze of others. No matter how rudely he was stared at, he never got angry, appearing like a punching bag that allowed itself to be kneaded into any shape while strictly carrying out its duties.
“Chi Wenqiu, you clearly have the ability to work on your own. Why do you insist on staying at the Qu house as a bed-warmer? And your monthly salary is not even that much; a kept mistress lives more freely than you!”
Chi Wenqiu pursed his lips and remained silent.
Qu Jing could not help but speculate with the worst of intentions, questioning coldly: “Is my dad’s technique that good? Can he make you feel like you are in heaven? No, it must be that you taste good, which is why he cannot bear to let you go! What a perfect match, huh?”
Despite being insulted this way, Chi Wenqiu showed no reaction, as if he were silently admitting it.
“Chi Wenqiu!” Qu Jing’s tone sharpened.
“I am here.”
“Answer me!”
“The Head of the house saved my life; I can never repay his kindness in a lifetime. That is one of the reasons for my loyalty.”
“One of the reasons? What else!” Qu Jing stepped in front of him, casting a towering shadow. He was not necessarily just a hot-headed, innocent lad; he was usually just too casual, forgetting that he was Qu Sinian’s son.
The pressure weighed down on him, and Chi Wenqiu’s gaze had nowhere to land. He tried to step back to create distance, but his wrist was grabbed again. Qu Jing’s nails dug into the existing teeth marks on his thumb web, making the corners of Chi’s eyes twitch slightly from the pain.
He spoke each word formally: “As you said, the Head’s techniques are superior and can make me feel like I am in heaven. Furthermore, he is usually generous and straightforward with me, granting almost every request. After three years together, even a pet would have adapted.”
Qu Jing squeezed so hard that Chi Wenqiu let out a muffled groan. Qu Jing lowered his head to stare him down, his handsome face twisted with jealous hatred: “You really disgust me, Chi Wenqiu. What is the difference between you and those who sell themselves?”
