The Romance Extras Turned Out to Be a Yuri Story - Chapter 49
A car roared past, and Zhang Qiu pulled Lin Luoluo to her side, letting her stand on the inside while she walked on the outside.
“What did you just say?”
The car speeding by brought a tremendous sonic boom, and Zhang Qiu couldn’t hear anything.
“Nothing!” Lin Luoluo’s face was completely red. She lowered her eyes, not daring to look at Zhang Qiu, and whispered, “Let’s hurry back. My brother is still waiting for me to send my location.”
Lin Luoluo walked on ahead, and Zhang Qiu caught up.
The heat on her face lingered, so Lin Luoluo had no choice but to lower her head.
Zhang Qiu shifted the things in her hand, freeing up her right hand to hold Lin Luoluo’s.
“There are a lot of cars here. Be careful when you look at the road.”
Lin Luoluo felt her slightly cool fingers clasp her hand. Although her hand was icy, it was like a branding iron, pressing a flower into her heart.
Lin Luoluo was flushed with heat, her eyes moist. With glistening almond eyes, she glanced down at the hand Zhang Qiu was holding, and then buried her face into the large white bear on her chest.
They stood by the roadside, and Zhang Qiu hailed a taxi.
Lin Luoluo softly exhaled through her mouth, and only then did the scalding heat dissipate.
As the temperature on her face dropped, Zhang Qiu quietly asked, “How about we get a room?”
Lin Luoluo started violently, her back tingling. She suddenly turned to look at Zhang Qiu and heard the rest of her sentence: “My room is small, and I’m afraid you won’t be used to staying in it.”
Only then did Lin Luoluo realize, belatedly, that she was going to stay in the same room as Zhang Qiu, and might even sleep in the same bed!
This was too thrilling. Lin Luoluo nearly forgot how to breathe.
She stammered, “N-no need, right?”
Zhang Qiu looked at her, her dark pupils holding a light that Lin Luoluo couldn’t understand: “I think it’s very necessary.”
“But I’ll be scared in a hotel by myself,” Lin Luoluo said softly.
Zhang Qiu paused, opened her mouth, and then closed it again.
If she went to the hotel to accompany Lin Luoluo, what difference would that make compared to Lin Luoluo staying at her house?
Zhang Qiu had a headache.
She said, “Fine.”
She waved and hailed a taxi.
Lin Luoluo couldn’t quite grasp Zhang Qiu’s expression at the moment, which held a sort of meaningful endurance.
Was she unwelcoming of her staying over?
Lin Luoluo had thought Zhang Qiu would be happy about it.
The color slightly drained from her face, and her heart was filled with anxiety.
Indeed, Zhang Qiu hadn’t invited her to stay over. It was she who was reluctant to part with Zhang Qiu’s warmth, and she had assumed Zhang Qiu was willing, yet she hadn’t asked her if she wanted it.
Lin Luoluo pursed her lips and got into the car, steeling herself.
Because she was holding the large white bear, Zhang Qiu sat in the front passenger seat, and Lin Luoluo sat in the back.
She occasionally looked up at Zhang Qiu, but could only see her shoulder.
The car was very quiet; no one spoke.
The night gradually deepened, and Lin Luoluo’s phone rang.
It was her family calling. Her mother asked worriedly, “Can you get used to staying at someone else’s house? If not, should I have the driver come pick you up?”
Lin Luoluo couldn’t turn back now.
If she actually went back, it would truly look like she despised Zhang Qiu.
But she dreamed of her; how could she despise Zhang Qiu?
Instead, her sudden arrival might have messed up Zhang Qiu’s plans.
Lin Luoluo’s voice was a little low: “Mom, have the driver come pick me up early tomorrow morning.”
Zhang Qiu glanced in the rearview mirror, only seeing Lin Luoluo’s arm—a slender arm bent upward in the mirror, revealing a section of a delicate, pale wrist. Zhang Qiu stared at that wrist, feeling that agreeing to Lin Luoluo’s request to stay over was not as wonderful as she had imagined.
She had to suppress the screaming beast in her heart, so as not to scare her.
Zhang Qiu let out a soft sigh. They had arrived home.
Returning home under the stars and moon, neither of them spoke. Zhang Qiu was considering how the two of them would sleep later. She would be sleeping in the same bed as Lin Luoluo and couldn’t guarantee she wouldn’t touch her, so Zhang Qiu decided to sleep in the living room.
And Lin Luoluo was completely afraid to speak, having been frightened by Zhang Qiu’s grave expression immediately after getting out of the car.
Zhang Qiu didn’t realize it, but when she was deep in thought, her face was filled with a cold indifference that pushed people away.
After arriving home, her grandmother was already asleep. The elderly woman slept early, and was woken up by the sound of them opening the door. Knowing that Lin Luoluo would be staying overnight, the elderly woman happily went to get new bedding. Lin Luoluo tried to dissuade her several times to no avail. Following her grandmother with the new bedding, she had just reached the door of Zhang Qiu’s room when she saw Zhang Qiu walking out with a quilt and a pillow.
“I’ll sleep in the living room,” Zhang Qiu said.
Lin Luoluo’s excitement from arriving completely vanished. She stood dimly behind her grandmother, on the verge of breaking.
Zhang Qiu remained completely unaware.
Grandma helped Lin Luoluo make the bed. Zhang Qiu got her new pajamas and then went to send Grandma to bed.
Lin Luoluo stood in the room, with absolutely no urge to look around Zhang Qiu’s bedroom. She struggled to hold back her shame, and as soon as she saw Zhang Qiu come out of Grandma’s room, she grabbed her and closed the door.
The bright white light of the night was painful to Lin Luoluo’s eyes. She pressed against Zhang Qiu’s body and asked with reddened eyes, “Why aren’t you sleeping with me?”
Zhang Qiu was startled, then looked at her for a long time before letting out a soft sigh: “Do you know that I was very happy when you came to see me today?”
Lin Luoluo lifted her eyes, puzzled, not understanding why she was saying these things.
“I was too happy,” Zhang Qiu’s voice was gentle. “What I’ve lost has always outnumbered what I’ve gained. Grandma taught me not to fight for things, so I rarely have anything that truly belongs to me.”
“When other children cried and complained in their parents’ arms, I couldn’t cry, because I had no parents; when others had people to raise them, I couldn’t envy them, because I knew everything depended on me; I abandoned many qualities I felt were unnecessary and became cold to this society because they were cold to me.”
“I can also let go, because those things aren’t what I need.”
“I’ve always been this way, but as long as it’s something I like, I’ll hold onto it tightly.”
“Including you.”
“So, I’m very happy that you came.”
Zhang Qiu had approached Lin Luoluo without her noticing, cupped her head, and her lips drew closer.
“Do you understand the obsession of a person who, having possessed very little, will never let go of any possession?”
“I own very little, so what is mine, I will not let go of.”
She bit Lin Luoluo’s lip.
It wasn’t a kiss.
Using her canine teeth to gently graze and slightly prickle, causing Lin Luoluo to widen her eyes. Her hands helplessly clutched Zhang Qiu’s clothes, and Zhang Qiu chuckled softly, “Open your mouth.”
Lin Luoluo, like an obedient student, subconsciously opened her mouth, and the moment swept through fiercely, like a blustering storm.
A great wind blew, and she trembled like a young seedling in the wind. Tears welled up in her eyes, her waist was seized and pressed against the wall, and she was utterly undone.
“So obedient.” Zhang Qiu’s forehead pressed against hers, eyes meeting eyes, bridge of the nose touching the bridge of the nose, as she licked her.
She was like an insatiable demon, extending her wicked feelers to harass Lin Luoluo, leaving her in pieces, able only to struggle in her grasp.
Zhang Qiu still maintained some control. After feeling Lin Luoluo’s warm skin, she buried her face in Lin Luoluo’s shoulder, panting with a low chuckle, “What am I going to do? I really want to bully you.”
Lin Luoluo’s body was flushed red, leaning against the wall. The coldness of the white wall couldn’t cool down her body, which was ignited by the teasing.
She panted heavily, her lips crimson, looking as if she had applied a vivid lipstick, but more delicious than any lipstick color. She stared blankly at the bright light, taking a long time to recover.
Zhang Qiu had already straightened up, wiping the corner of her lips with her thumb. She leaned in and bit her again, asking with a suppressed voice, “Do you still want to sleep with me?”
Lin Luoluo flushed, immediately pushed her out the door, and even locked the room.
She leaned against the door, panting, her heart pounding and her legs numb. She slid to the floor and took a long time to recover.
Her first kiss was so stimulating; it completely overwhelmed Lin Luoluo.
She covered her face, having never seen Zhang Qiu so intense.
Normally, she was subtle, subtle like a pure white jasmine flower, but now she was like the overbearing lilac in the dark night, a blinding revelation that left Lin Luoluo dazed.
Lin Luoluo took a while to compose herself, finally standing up to change into the pajamas. Then she remembered that they were clothes Zhang Qiu had worn. Her hands trembled for a long time, unable to unzip her own dress, and she sat down on the bed, annoyed.
Outside the door, Zhang Qiu covered her face and smiled.
She had never known that when you liked someone, you would have such intense desire for them.
She wanted to kiss her, wanted to get close to her, and even wanted to knead her into her own flesh and blood, wishing to see her every moment.
To date, Lin Luoluo was the first person to make her lose control like this.
Yet, she didn’t dislike it; she was even very happy.
Zhang Qiu turned to go sleep on the living room sofa. Suddenly, the door behind her opened a crack, and the light from the bedroom scrambled to escape through the narrow gap.
“Um, older sister, could you help me pull down the zipper?” Lin Luoluo’s tone was very soft, even uncertain.
Zhang Qiu spun around abruptly. She suddenly felt very stupid—why did she voluntarily go to sleep on the sofa?
Better to be a scoundrel than a gentleman.
She said yes, her voice hoarse.
Lin Luoluo turned around. She was wearing a white dress today, and her entire figure was bathed in a white glow. Zhang Qiu’s hand trembled slightly as she reached for the zipper.
She never trembled when writing calligraphy, yet now her hand was shaking uncontrollably.
She slowly pulled it down. A beautiful ridge-line appeared before her, extending into her waist.
The snowy white spine was graceful, and she couldn’t stop herself from wanting to reach out and touch it.
Zhang Qiu slowly reached out, her fingertips touching that warm spot.
“Are you done?” Lin Luoluo asked, suddenly rousing the dreamer.
Zhang Qiu abruptly pushed Lin Luoluo inside, “Done.” She casually closed the door. “I’m going to sleep. You should go to bed early too.”
Lin Luoluo stood inside, covering her face as she smiled.
“Silly older sister,” she murmured, “I haven’t washed up yet.”
Zhang Qiu lay on the sofa, trying to calm her racing heart. The sound of water came from the bathroom. She closed her eyes, her heart unable to settle for a long time.
Clenching her hands into fists, she grew drowsy listening to the sound of the water. Vaguely, someone stood in front of the sofa and quietly asked, “Is older sister asleep?”
Zhang Qiu didn’t open her eyes.
Lin Luoluo crouched down, watched her for a while, stared dreamily at her crimson lips, and whispered, “Good night, older sister.”
She stood up, and a light kiss landed on Zhang Qiu’s forehead. She said softly, “I want to sleep with older sister.”
It answered her very last question.
Lin Luoluo covered her completely red face, stumbled, turned off the light, and ran into the room.
In the pitch black of the room, Zhang Qiu opened her eyes, her long eyelashes fluttering. She sighed abruptly, only a soft sigh remaining in the air.
It seems it’s not so easy to be a perfect gentleman after all.
