While Ye Qinglan was busy with police training, Ning Yunshu was occupied with relocating her company headquarters.

By the time the final formalities were completed, half a month had already passed. Due to Ye Qinglan’s intensive training, they could only exchange messages at night simple greetings like “Good night” or “Rest early.”

Without Ye Qinglan by her side, Ning Yunshu found everything dull, even appearing disinterested during press conferences. Fortunately, Ji An and others were there to support her, preventing any mishaps.

Now that the major task of relocating the headquarters was done, Ning Yunshu wanted to share the news with Ye Qinglan. Coincidentally, Xu Su was planning to visit the training site to check on the actors’ progress. Catching wind of this, Ning Yunshu begged relentlessly to tag along.

“Deal!” Ning Yunshu agreed instantly.

“Honestly, I’ve never seen you so eager to invest in films before. Are you trying to break into the entertainment industry?” Xu Su shot her an exasperated look.

Ning Yunshu grinned, her eyes curving into crescents. “No, I just want to support her.”

Xu Su’s lips twitched. “I can’t stand you love-struck fools. You really are your parents’ daughter, Professor Yun and Professor Ning’s through and through.”

Ning Yunshu rubbed her nose and chuckled sheepishly.

“Alright, I’ll call you tomorrow before I leave,” Xu Su said with a smile.

“Thank you, Sister Xu Su!” Ning Yunshu beamed.

Xu Su rolled her eyes as she watched Ning Yunshu leave.

After parting ways with Xu Su, Ning Yunshu couldn’t contain her excitement at the thought of seeing Ye Qinglan the next day.

Half a month without her, she missed Ye Qinglan so much.

Meanwhile, after two weeks of rigorous training, Ye Qinglan was no longer as exhausted as she had been at the start. Though her workload was the heaviest among the group, since she was playing a police captain who needed at least a basic grasp of various skills while others focused on specialized training in the afternoons, she had to participate in everything.

Instructor Li acknowledged her with a polite nod, treating her no differently than anyone else.

Instructor Li answered earnestly, “They’re all doing well. No divas here everyone’s tough and hardworking. By the way, Director Xu, weren’t there supposed to be six? It’s been half a month, but we haven’t seen any newcomers.”

Xu Su chuckled. “I’ve already found someone. That person has prior training and knows more than these rookies.”

Instructor Li didn’t press further.

Ning Yunshu asked curiously, “Who is it, Director Xu?”

Xu Su replied mysteriously, “You’ll find out when the time comes. Why ask about this? It’s not what you really want to know anyway.”
