- The Master Possessed An Innate Charm, Irresistibly Seducing His Young Disciple
- Chapter 19 - Your Servant Begs for Your Lordship's Pity
“Of course,” Yu Huaixin answered without a second thought.
Li Sichen’s heart instantly leaped into his throat. He asked tentatively, “Who?”
“Xiao Chen, of course. You are the most important person to your Master.”
At the end of the day, it was merely the affection between a master and disciple. Li Sichen could not help but feel a sense of loss, yet there was nothing he could do. A voice in his mind told him it was time to let go, but instead, he pulled the person in front of him even closer. His body trembled slightly with the surge of his emotions.
So this was what it felt like to care for someone. It was as sweet as honey, yet inevitably tinged with sorrow and bitterness.
“What is wrong, Xiao Chen? Have you been wronged in some way?” Yu Huaixin asked softly in his ear.
Li Sichen closed his eyes and finally steeled his heart. He moved his hands from Yu Huaixin’s waist and stepped out of the embrace.
He decided to let that incident pass. Since no one but himself knew if it had been a dream, he would treat it as a beautiful dream buried deep in his heart. As for reality, it would be enough if he could watch Yu Huaixin escape his original tragic fate, stay far from harm, and live a simple, easy life.
“I am fine, Master. Let us leave this place. Tomorrow morning, we will find Wu Minye to uncover the truth and make it public. Once that is done, my trial will be considered complete.”
“All right, we will do as you say.”
Li Sichen took a step forward but then remembered the dilapidated mansion in the outskirts of Basi Town. After a moment of thought, he asked Yu Huaixin, “Master, I see a few houses nearby that look fairly clean. How about we stay here for the night? I looked earlier, and the area outside is even more desolate. It would take a while to find another place to stay.”
Li Sichen offered the explanation weakly.
Yu Huaixin could not resist reaching out to ruffle Li Sichen’s hair, a smile overflowing from his eyes. “Xiao Chen is so cute. I will listen to you.”
A faint, unnatural crimson crept onto the tips of Li Sichen’s ears. He did not forget to whisper an emphasis, “Master, I am not a child anymore.”
Yu Huaixin nodded with a smile.
Li Sichen remained silent, realizing his master had likely not taken the words to heart. Regardless, as long as he was happy, it was fine.
They found a room with acceptable furnishings, containing a worn wooden bed and a table. At least it was a place where they could put their things and sleep. As for the dust, Yu Huaixin simply flicked his sleeve, and the room became instantly spotless.
Li Sichen felt a wave of envy. He had originally intended to be modest and was hesitant to share a bed with Yu Huaixin, but in the next second, a familiar force pulled him straight onto the mattress. Li Sichen felt internally conflicted.
The two embraced and fell asleep, each occupied with their own thoughts.
As the night began to recede, Yu Huaixin felt a familiar aura surrounding him, as if it were leading him somewhere. He did not hesitate to follow the guidance.
Eventually, he entered the desolate mountain pass of Luofu Village, stepping into a barrier specially crafted for him. A thick black mist slithered greedily over his body, appearing eager to taste every part of him.
The poison within him was fully triggered by the mist. Yu Huaixin’s consciousness wavered, and he fell weakly to the ground, clenching his teeth in pain.
The black mist dissipated, revealing a pair of black boots belonging to an adult male. They were decorated with metallic runes related to demonic beasts, appearing mysterious and heavy. Yu Huaixin tried to push himself up, but driven by the toxin, his body was powerless. He could only strain to tilt his head back to see the newcomer’s face.
“Beauty, long time no see.”
The first greeting came from above. The tone was calm yet carried a hint of provocation and an underlying excitement. Finally, the man knelt down and extended a pale, bony hand to gently tilt Yu Huaixin’s chin. A smile curved his lips. “Do you still remember me?”
By now, Yu Huaixin’s eyes were completely red. They looked as if they were not about to shed tears, but blood. He certainly recognized that face. Even if it turned to ash, he would recognize it.
Looking at that face, the days and nights of torture he had endured in the Demon Realm unfolded before him like a scroll. How could he ever forget? Aside from Li Sichen, the person he hated most in this life was the man before him. He had not expected this person to also retain those memories.
Feng Ji was very satisfied with Yu Huaixin’s reaction. “Good, it seems you have not forgotten.”
Yu Huaixin did not speak. He simply stared at the face, wishing he could tear it to pieces.
“Heh, you really are unpleasant like this. I prefer it when you are like mud, crawling at my feet and being obedient.”
Feng Ji moved his demonic energy under Yu Huaixin’s collar, subjecting him to all sorts of torment. A layer of enticing light red gradually appeared on the snow white skin.
Yu Huaixin was already in agony due to the poison, and now he had to endure this torture. He struggled to maintain his composure, but his shoulders shook uncontrollably. Two lines of clear tears slid from the corners of his eyes.
No matter the circumstances, Feng Ji could never resist Yu Huaixin’s allure. He possessed such a pure and noble appearance, yet his charm surpassed all others.
Suppressing the savage impulses inherent to a demon, Feng Ji placed two fingers against Yu Huaixin’s lips. He spoke in a hoarse voice, “It is painful, is it not? Beg me like you did before. Beg me to pitty you, to love you. If I am satisfied, I will grant your wish immediately.”
“I” Yu Huaixin opened his mouth, struggling to force out intermittent words. “Your servant begs for your Lordship’s pity.”
Finally hearing those words, a red light of excitement flashed in Feng Ji’s eyes. He easily lifted Yu Huaixin and roughly pressed him against a nearby stone wall.
Although Feng Ji was pleased that Yu Huaixin had softened toward him as before, he could not control himself and struck him for his lowly behavior. Yu Huaixin’s lip bled from the blow, yet his eyes still held a craving for Feng Ji. His red lips let out a breath of heat as he repeated the words, “Your servant begs for your Lordship’s pity.”
Feng Ji finally stopped restraining himself. He leaned down and bit hard into the flawless right side of Yu Huaixin’s neck. His sharp canines pierced deep into the blood vessels. Yu Huaixin simply tilted his neck limply, calmly accepting the demand.
Suddenly, a blade pierced through flesh. Blood poured from the man’s chest.
As if that were not enough to satisfy the hatred, the jagged blade was twisted repeatedly within the flesh and pushed even deeper.
Feng Ji’s face turned deathly pale almost instantly. He briefly lost the ability to resist as the blood drained rapidly from his heart. Through a haze, he saw Yu Huaixin staring intently at his chest with wide eyes. His hands continued the movement, and a crazed, twisted smile was on his face.
Feng Ji no longer had the energy to continue watching. He used the last of his strength to throw Yu Huaixin away and quickly fled the area.
Feng Ji’s cultivation was extremely high, and his strength was formidable. Yu Huaixin was thrown violently against a stone pillar, which snapped in half upon impact. He vomited blood and collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
