The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 25
Chapter 25
“Fine, wear the gloves.”
Fu Wenchen picked the gloves out of the bag and pointedly held them out to her, adding innocently, “Gloves are better anyway. Last time, the calluses on your hands made me…”
“Enough, let’s get to business,” Yu Guiyao interrupted immediately. Her eyelashes fluttered downward, not daring to look at her, as she took the gloves with a flushed face.
The medical gloves were white and elastic, but they seemed a size too small, clinging tightly to her long fingers, feeling almost like a second skin.
Fu Wenchen stared at her hands, her gaze dark. She suddenly looped her arms around Yu Guiyao’s neck and whispered softly in her ear, “I only wanted to praise you and say that it felt very good…”
Hearing this, Yu Guiyao’s face turned a deep shade of scarlet. She hurriedly tore open the packaging of the irrigator and told her, “Stop talking. I’ll rinse it with the medicine first.”
As she spoke, she poured some of the cleansing lotion into the irrigator and took a thermos from the bag, pouring in some warm water to mix.
Fu Wenchen watched her, her lips curling into a smile. “Where did you get warm water?”
“From a relative I know near the health clinic…” Yu Guiyao explained as she worked. “Cold water is too chilly for that area; warm water is best…”
But before she could finish, Fu Wenchen leaned in and kissed her cheek. The soft lips felt like a feather brushing against her skin, causing Yu Guiyao to freeze for a moment.
Fu Wenchen smiled, her arms still around her neck. “Make sure to rinse several times~”
“Of course. If the skin is broken, we also need to apply a wet compress.” Yu Guiyao quickly averted her gaze, feeling her breath quicken as she screwed the top onto the irrigator.
The bottom of the irrigator held the solution, while the top featured a finger-length nozzle. Squeezing the bottom would spray the solution out to cleanse the interior—much like squeezing a plastic bottle with small holes poked in the cap.
Holding the irrigator, Yu Guiyao placed a waterproof plastic sheet under Fu Wenchen’s bottom. She looked up and asked, “Should we move somewhere else? The swing is too wobbly. I’m afraid of hurting you later—the material of this irrigator is quite hard. If it accidentally…”
“Then just be gentle. I’m already injured; do you want to make it hurt more?” Fu Wenchen frowned slightly, then took the initiative to lift the hem of her shirt, urging, “Hurry up, it really hurts.”
Things having reached this point, Yu Guiyao could only lower her head with a red face, her gaze passing over the woman’s flat, soft abdomen until it reached the slightly swollen “lips.” They were slightly parted and surrounded by redness—a truly pitiful sight.
Filled with guilt, Yu Guiyao planted her feet firmly on the ground to keep the swing steady, then reached out to part the area with one hand.
Fu Wenchen suddenly trembled with “pain,” her fingers gripping Yu Guiyao’s collar tightly. Yet, she couldn’t help but look down, watching with a flushed face as Yu Guiyao slowly inserted the nozzle into the “wound.”
Yu Guiyao’s fingers were long and slender, and the white gloves made them look even more elegant. She parted the area with one hand and pushed the irrigator in with the other. The nozzle was indeed made of poor, rough material.
Despite the pain, the thought that it was Yu Guiyao holding the irrigator and helping her like this filled Fu Wenchen’s eyes with tears. She gripped the back of Yu Guiyao’s neck and cried out, “Ahhh, it hurts! Rinse it quickly…”
The “lips” wrapped around the nozzle, and transparent fluid began to trickle down alongside the medicinal solution. The swing swayed slightly, and the bells on the ropes chimed clearly.
Seeing that she was in genuine pain, Yu Guiyao squeezed the irrigator repeatedly, pumping the medicine inside. Wave after wave of liquid washed the internal walls, flowing out through the gap held open by Yu Guiyao’s fingers and onto the waterproof sheet.
Fu Wenchen’s hands gripped the swing’s ropes. She tilted her head back, her face flushed as she called out, “It’s too hot! I should have used cold water!” Her whole body shook as if the wound were agonizing, but more transparent fluid flowed out along with the medicine.
“Cold water won’t do; warm water is just right.” Yu Guiyao pushed the irrigator up a bit further, inserting the nozzle fully. She continued to squeeze the bottle, rinsing from every angle, and asked, “Where does it hurt most? I’ll rinse those spots more, especially where there are cuts.”
Fu Wenchen’s body went taut. Tears fell into her hairline as her fingers clenched the ropes. She called out, “Everything hurts! Use your hand to apply the medicine quickly…”
“Yao-yao, hurry!”
The sound of that “Yao-yao” made Yu Guiyao’s ears tingle. She hurriedly pulled the irrigator out. In that instant, a large amount of trapped medicine and transparent fluid gushed out together.
“Wait a moment, I need to see how many tablets to use.”
Blushing, Yu Guiyao changed her gloves. She popped a tablet out of its foil and whispered, “Just one is enough. It’ll only take a few seconds…” As she spoke, she held the tablet between two fingers and slowly delivered it into the “wound.”
Fu Wenchen trembled, but she lifted her hips to make it easier for Yu Guiyao to place the tablet. Once it reached its destination and could go no deeper, Yu Guiyao prepared to withdraw, but her wrist was suddenly caught by Fu Wenchen.
The woman’s face was flushed, her eyes teary, and her lips looked like ripe cherries. She suddenly kissed Yu Guiyao and murmured softly, “Wait for it to melt. You’re not allowed to leave until then.”
“Really? Does the manual say that?” Yu Guiyao instinctively tried to turn her head to check the instructions.
Fu Wenchen frowned slightly, her other hand supporting the back of Yu Guiyao’s neck, and began to kiss her passionately. Their soft lips sucked at each other, their hot breaths intermingling as their heartbeats raced.
For some reason, Yu Guiyao’s heart gradually softened. She supported the other woman’s waist with her other hand, tilted her head back, and began to return the kiss. Their lips moved ceaselessly, and she extended her tongue to enter the other’s mouth.
Fu Wenchen immediately met her with her own tongue. The two tongues tangled together, creating waves of numbness that stirred their souls. Saliva was swallowed, and the sound of their sucking grew louder as their breathing became more labored. The bells on the swing chimed incessantly.
A cool breeze blew from the nearby stream, but it couldn’t extinguish the heat between them. Wildflowers swayed in the wind, and peach blossoms drifted down onto their tangled hair and overlapping bodies.
Yu Guiyao’s lower body was steady; even with only her feet on the ground, she kept the swing stable, save for the occasional sway caused by Fu Wenchen’s restless rubbing. For some reason, even though she knew the other woman was holding her wrist and using her hand for things unrelated to applying medicine, Yu Guiyao let her.
She even pulled her closer, deepening the kiss until they were inseparable. When Fu Wenchen ran out of breath, Yu Guiyao kissed the corners of her mouth and her cheeks, waiting until her breathing leveled out before prying open her teeth again to entangle their tongues once more.
Both had their eyes closed, seemingly lost in deep emotion. After a while, a silver thread of saliva escaped the corner of Fu Wenchen’s mouth. She couldn’t help but guide Yu Guiyao’s wrist forward, letting the fingertips holding the tablet move back and forth to help “apply” the medicine.
The posture was different from last time; with Fu Wenchen sitting on top of her, the tablet could reach deeper. The tablet melted under the high heat, and the white medicinal liquid mixed with the transparent fluid, dripping down from beneath the glove.
During this process, Fu Wenchen panted heavily, as if transported to another world. In that world, she trembled under a barrage of lightning strikes that made her spine tingle. her soul soared and plummeted in a state of weightless ascension.
The swing swayed, making her dizzy, and the sound of bells filled her ears. Her body felt like it was in a steamer, her back drenched in sweat. Every time she sat down, the pressure of the fingertips through the thin glove felt like a bolt of lightning striking her spine, shaking her very spirit.
Her bottom was covered in medicine. In a moment of clarity, a large wave of transparent fluid mixed with medicine sprayed out onto the plastic sheet. Yu Guiyao felt the “wound” convulsing and medicine still dripping down. She quickly broke the kiss, looking completely dazed.
“Did the medicine go to waste?”
A silver thread stretched between their lips. Fu Wenchen buried her face in Yu Guiyao’s neck and licked her lips, looking utterly satisfied and physically spent. Between gasps, she said playfully, “Mhm. How about…”
“We do it again?”
Hearing this, Yu Guiyao’s face turned bright red with chagrin. How had she lost her mind just now? She should have stopped it.
Listening to her inner thoughts, Fu Wenchen continued to smile. Her fingertips lightly stroked Yu Guiyao’s neck. “What? Do you regret it? Don’t want to take care of me anymore?”
“Of course not!” Yu Guiyao immediately declared her loyalty. “I swear, I will take responsibility!”
“It’s just…” She looked at the messy area and whispered with a red face, “I think you should endure it, Boss. Otherwise, we really can’t apply the medicine properly…” She thought: No matter how much she’s been repressing herself all these years, surely she wouldn’t insist on this while in pain?
She stared at the area guiltily. The “lips” were flushed bright red, looking as if the skin might break any second. The “little red fruit” inside peeked out shyly, glistening as if it had been soaked in stream water. Under her gaze, another wave of transparent fluid surged out, mixed with the milky white medicine.
Fu Wenchen’s gaze deepened. She pinched Yu Guiyao’s ear and whispered, “You like it that much? Why don’t you touch it?”
Touch it?! Yu Guiyao was startled and quickly looked away, her neck turning crimson.
Fu Wenchen laughed. “If you don’t want to touch it, why were you staring? Don’t you want to rub it a little?”
“Wh-what?! No!” Yu Guiyao replied quickly. “I was just trying to see where you were injured, but I couldn’t find a wound. It’s just a bit swollen…”
“Just a bit swollen?” Fu Wenchen feigned anger and pinched her cheek. “It hurts like death, and you say it’s just a bit swollen?”
Seeing this, Yu Guiyao quickly corrected herself. “I didn’t mean it like that. I just meant that if the skin isn’t broken, rinsing it a few more times should be enough. You don’t need these tablets…”
“How do you know it’s not broken inside?” Fu Wenchen caught her wrist again. “Just in case, it’s better to use the medicine. If it gets worse, I’ll need you to take responsibility for the rest of your life…” She looked at her with teary eyes, her cheeks still flushed.
Meeting that gaze, Yu Guiyao could only nod and brace herself. “Fine, I’ll put in one more…”
She changed her gloves again. Luckily, she had bought plenty. She popped another tablet and delivered it slowly into the depths of the “wound.” When Fu Wenchen flinched, she asked nervously, “Did the wound hurt?”
“Mhm…” Fu Wenchen’s long lashes fluttered, and a tear slid from the corner of her eye. Despite her cold features, her face was flushed and tearful. She hugged Yu Guiyao’s neck, wanting another kiss.
This time, Yu Guiyao had learned her lesson. She quickly turned her head away, finished placing the tablet, and abruptly withdrew her hand.
Mission accomplished! She beamed with a bright smile.
Fu Wenchen, however, was trembling, looking at her with gritted teeth and dissatisfaction.
“What’s wrong? Still hurting?” Seeing her discomfort, Yu Guiyao tried to soothe her. “It’s okay, the medicine is in. You’ll be better in a day or two.”
“But what if it itches? Won’t you help me scratch it?” Fu Wenchen looked aggrieved, unwilling to let it end there.
But Yu Guiyao, completely missing the subtext, replied, “Just bear with it. It might itch a little as the tablet melts.”
In a fit of pique, Fu Wenchen leaned forward and bit her. One day, I’ll make her want me incessantly, instead of me having to beg like this… Her eyes were dark as she bit Yu Guiyao’s lip.
Perhaps because they had been kissing for so long, their lips were already very red. Though the bite wasn’t heavy, it broke Yu Guiyao’s skin. She frowned, looking at Fu Wenchen in a daze.
Fu Wenchen was also stunned. Then, a look of heartache appeared in her eyes. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” As she spoke, she gently wiped the blood with her thumb and started looking for iodine to disinfect it.
Seeing her look like she was about to cry, Yu Guiyao caught her hand and comforted her. “It’s fine. It’s just a broken lip; it’ll heal quickly.”
“No, we must disinfect it so it heals fast.” Fu Wenchen immediately dabbed iodine on her lip with a cotton swab, then complained about herself: “I shouldn’t have bitten you. It’ll be hard to kiss next time; I’m afraid of hurting you…”
Yu Guiyao: “…” She’s still thinking about kissing?
In truth, she didn’t even know why the other woman had been angry. But now that it had passed, she remembered Fu Wenchen’s “injury” wasn’t fully dealt with. She hugged her waist to lift her slightly and pulled away the messy plastic sheet.
In that moment, Fu Wenchen felt a surge of shame—it felt like having a diaper changed. The plastic was covered in various fluids. She buried her face in Yu Guiyao’s neck as the other woman swapped the sheet and began wiping her legs and the area with tissues.
When the tissue touched her, Fu Wenchen flinched. “It hurts…”
Yu Guiyao could only soak a piece of gauze in the cleansing lotion and, with a red face, apply it as a wet compress. “Hold this there for a while to reduce the swelling…”
“Mhm.” Fu Wenchen smiled, resting her cheek on Yu Guiyao’s shoulder and nestling into her embrace.
From a distance, it looked like a tall woman sitting on a swing holding a soft woman in a shirt. The smaller woman’s legs were wrapped around her waist, her hands around her neck—her whole world seemed to be the person holding her. No one would have known that beneath the shirt, a certain spot was covered in medicinal gauze.
Fu Wenchen felt a cool sensation, and the burning was gone. She closed her eyes, breathing in the scent of the other woman’s hair, wishing this moment would last forever.
After an unknown amount of time, a breeze stirred their hair. Yu Guiyao began to doze off uncontrollably until her body suddenly lost balance and she fell backward.
Fu Wenchen was startled and quickly protected Yu Guiyao’s head. As they tumbled onto the grass, she nervously patted Yu Guiyao’s face, only to find—she was asleep.
She actually fell asleep?!
Wait. Fu Wenchen suddenly realized: Now that she’s asleep, will she cross over into Fu Qingdu’s body? But shouldn’t that only happen at night?
Filled with doubt and anxiety, she hugged her tightly, unwilling to let go. No matter what, she would never let her go in this lifetime!
…
Meanwhile, in a hospital room.
Yu Guiyao opened her eyes and was stunned. She had only meant to nap for a moment because she felt so relaxed—how did she cross over?
Moreover, who was that woman standing in the room talking to the Fu parents if not Gu Ruoqin? She quickly closed her eyes and pretended to sleep.
She heard the woman’s incredulous voice: “Wenchen is bringing a new girlfriend to dinner tonight?”
“That’s impossible, isn’t her announcement fake? How could she find a new girlfriend?”
Beside her, Mother Fu replied, “If you hadn’t gone abroad, she never would have looked for an actress! Now that you’re back, marry her quickly and stop bothering our Qingdu.”
Yu Guiyao’s heart skipped a beat. Mother Fu wanted Gu Ruoqin and Fu Wenchen to marry! Her ears rang, and then a dull pain hit her lip.
When she opened her eyes again, she saw the peach tree above her. Fu Wenchen was straddling her, cupping her face and kissing her fiercely.
No wonder my lip hurts. Didn’t she say she wouldn’t kiss me because she was afraid of hurting me?
Yu Guiyao quickly caught her wrists to show she was awake. When Fu Wenchen stopped, her eyes were full of tears. She hugged her tightly and sobbed, “You fainted just now; you scared me to death. That’s why I was giving you artificial respiration…”
Yu Guiyao: “…” That’s called artificial respiration?
She wanted to laugh. Who gives artificial respiration by sucking on someone’s lips? She met Fu Wenchen’s gaze and remembered what she had just overheard. She couldn’t help asking, “Do you have an engagement with Gu Ruoqin? Does your adoptive mother want you to marry?”
Fu Wenchen froze, then sat up and asked, “Are you planning to not take responsibility anymore?”
Yu Guiyao: “???” What does that even mean?
Before she could say a word, Fu Wenchen’s eyes grew misty, and she lifted her shirt to show her. Yu Guiyao then remembered the wet compress she hadn’t finished…
She hurriedly sat up, but Fu Wenchen looped her arms around her neck again and leaned in. “Where did you hear such rumors?”
“If I marry, it will only be you.”
Yu Guiyao: “!!!”
