The Mad/Beautiful Movie Queen Heard My Inner Voice After Losing Her Memory - Chapter 18
Chapter 18
“Do you know how? If not, I can teach you…”
The hot breath fanned against her ear, making Yu Guiyao’s ears turn so red they looked ready to drip blood. She couldn’t tell if Fu Wenchen was just playing with her or not, but at this point, she felt provoked. She blurted out, “How could I not know!”
“Oh? You do? Then shall we try?” Fu Wenchen hooked her arms around her neck, her eyes swirling with threads of allure.
Meeting that gaze, Yu Guiyao felt her entire body heat up instinctively. She quickly averted her eyes, bent down sharply to pick up the clothes from the floor, and in one swift motion, scooped the woman up in a princess carry.
Fu Wenchen was caught off guard for a moment, clutching tightly to the girl’s neck. Yu Guiyao’s arms were powerful, supporting her firmly under her arms and knees. Fu Wenchen curled her lips and said softly: “Are you in such a hurry?”
“I’m not! It’s just…” Yu Guiyao carried her down the stairs at a brisk pace, her face flushed crimson from the teasing. She stammered in a panic, “It’s just that while my grandmother is out, we should finish washing up and leave quickly so she doesn’t see you…”
“Oh? Is that so?” Fu Wenchen couldn’t help but reach out and brush the stray hairs from Yu Guiyao’s forehead behind her ear. Watching the younger girl’s shy and flustered state, her own heart rate began to climb.
She found her so adorable. Driven by a spark of affection, she couldn’t resist leaning in and planting a kiss on Yu Guiyao’s cheek.
With a soft ‘muah’ sound, Yu Guiyao was stunned on the spot.
The touch was so warm and soft, the hot breath fanning her cheek. Her face was now as red as it could possibly get. Her lashes trembled as she met Fu Wenchen’s shimmering, watery eyes, and her voice came out raspy: “You… Boss…”
“This… this costs extra.”
She instinctively used the mention of money to mask her wildly thumping heart. To her surprise, Fu Wenchen laughed. She leaned in closer, pressing her cheek gently against Yu Guiyao’s like a kitten acting spoiled, rubbing softly. She whispered into her ear: “Fine. Then how much for a kiss?”
“A thousand yuan per kiss?”
“What if it’s a deep kiss? Five thousand?”
Her voice was low and velvety. She laughed again: “If that’s the case, I want thirty minutes worth…”
Truly rich.
Yu Guiyao was dying of shame. Although she had technically agreed to “try” dating for the sake of the money, she hadn’t expected Fu Wenchen to act like a completely different person, teasing her relentlessly.
Her throat bobbed as she swallowed. Finding some unknown surge of courage, she retorted stubbornly: “Then you might just pass out…”
As she said this, she stepped into the bathroom and sat Fu Wenchen down on the sink counter. Fu Wenchen refused to let go of her neck; she kissed her again, a hint of pride flickering in her eyes as she smiled: “By all means, try me.”
Meeting her gaze, Yu Guiyao felt like she was about to ignite. Her back was slick with sweat. She quickly let go and handed her a toothbrush and toothpaste, changing the subject: “Are you like this with the person you liked, too?”
This question was like hitting a brick wall, instantly killing the ambiguous atmosphere.
Fu Wenchen clenched her teeth, fuming at the girl’s lack of tact. Of all things to bring up, she brings up the person I liked! If she didn’t answer this carefully, Yu Guiyao would surely think she was flighty—after all, they had only known each other for a day, yet she was already demanding hugs and kisses.
But she simply couldn’t help herself…
If she could have held back, she wouldn’t have confessed so soon or used money to entice her. Tears began to well up in Fu Wenchen’s eyes as she lowered her gaze.
Seeing her like this, Yu Guiyao panicked. She thought back to last night when she first traveled into the body of Fu Qingdu. Perhaps Fu Wenchen was just naturally the type to act spoiled with someone she liked, and physical affection was normal to her.
Back then, Fu Wenchen had also kissed her while she was “Fu Qingdu,” but seeing the woman’s desperate, pleading expression made it clear that relationship hadn’t ended well. Fu Wenchen had been so humble, begging Fu Qingdu for forgiveness and to not ignore her.
How can love be so one-sidedly humble—down to the very dust? No matter what mistake was made, one shouldn’t be that subservient. If that’s how it was, then that relationship was inherently unequal.
Furthermore, Fu Wenchen was hated by her adoptive parents, and it was unclear if Fu Qingdu even liked her back. After waiting so many years, it was only natural for her to be disheartened.
And perhaps, Yu Guiyao mused, she herself was just a rebound—a stepping stone for Fu Wenchen to forget that past pain. I see. We’re both getting what we need. I need the money, and she needs me to help her move on.
Yu Guiyao felt she had figured everything out perfectly. On the other side of the mental link, Fu Wenchen’s lips curled into a faint, secret smile. She hadn’t known how to explain, but her “Sister” had conveniently rationalized it all for her…
But her joy was cut short by Yu Guiyao’s next inner thought: [Who exactly is Gu Ruoqin? Why did the comments say she’s Fu Wenchen’s ‘White Moonlight’? These relationship dynamics are a mess.]
Alarm bells rang in Fu Wenchen’s head. She quickly stuffed a toothbrush into Yu Guiyao’s mouth and said dejectedly: “Don’t think about the past anymore. I don’t want to recall those unhappy things…”
A single tear actually escaped her eye, and her rims turned red. Her look of utter distress would make anyone’s heart soften.
Yu Guiyao immediately dropped the subject. She instinctively reached out to wipe away the tear, her voice taking on an unconscious coaxing tone: “I won’t mention it again. Boss, don’t cry. Whatever you say goes…”
Before she could finish, Fu Wenchen wrapped her arms around her neck and said softly: “Then brush your teeth quickly. I want to use up those thirty minutes of ‘paid time’ as soon as possible.”
Yu Guiyao: “…”
Meaning, she wants to hurry up and kiss… Her face turned red again as she scrambled to brush her teeth.
“It tastes like green tangerines.” Fu Wenchen liked the scent of the toothpaste. After brushing, she asked Yu Guiyao to hold her hair up while she bent over the sink to wash her face.
Her profile was exquisite and perfect; her long lashes were beaded with water, and a few stray strands of wet hair clung to her cheeks. For some reason, Yu Guiyao’s heart began to race. She had a strange illusion that she had known this woman for a very long time. She instinctively tucked the wet hair behind the woman’s ear.
“Are you impatient? Do you want to kiss me that badly?”
Fu Wenchen was flushed from being stared at, her skin looking as if it were stained with rouge. The moment she turned around, Yu Guiyao plunged her own face into the sink, turning the water on full blast to wash away the heat.
“Your hair!” Seeing how rough she was being, Fu Wenchen quickly lifted the hair away from Yu Guiyao’s ears.
As the girl washed her face, the water soaked her skin, droplets sliding down and dripping into her collar. Fu Wenchen’s gaze grew heavy. The moment Yu Guiyao finished and turned off the tap, Fu Wenchen grabbed her collar, forced her to turn around, and kissed her fiercely.
Their soft lips met, water droplets from their faces sliding down together. Yu Guiyao’s throat was dry, but she suddenly wrapped her arms around the woman’s waist. This time, she didn’t dodge; she kissed back with matching intensity.
