- The Junior Sister Isn't Flirtatious At All; It's All Their Fault for Being Too Seductive
- Chapter 33 - Who Did You Say is the Junior Partner?
The little fox loved to sleep in. He knew it was already light out, but he still didn’t want to get up. Then, he felt his body lift, being picked up and dropping into a soft, fragrant embrace. The little fox impatiently nudged Jiang Luoyue. Jiang Luoyue loved cuddling with the little fox and wanted to “pet-suck” him like a cat, but the little fox always strongly resisted.
“How can a girl like you be so immodest!” the little fox roared.
“Well, are you a girl or a boy?” Jiang Luoyue countered.
“I’m a boy! I’m a boy!” the little fox declared.
“Alright,” Jiang Luoyue awkwardly rubbed her nose. This made her a little uncomfortable about hugging the little fox, especially since it had gained sentience and might even be able to transform into human form. But I still want to brush its fur.
Jiang Luoyue brushed his fur. The shed fur piled up on one side. “Do you know about felt balls?”
“What is that?” The little fox was being pampered quite comfortably, so he obediently lay still and let her brush him.
“It’s a small ball made from your fur. Actually, I wanted to make a scarf, but…” Jiang Luoyue paused. “You probably won’t stay with me for long, right?”
“Of course not. You think you can keep me?” the little fox raised his head proudly. Jiang Luoyue suspected this guy was also a young master of some sort, otherwise he wouldn’t enjoy ordering people around so much and be so impolite to her, his savior.
“Hey, I saved you. Aren’t you going to repay the favor? You’re heartless,” Jiang Luoyue poked the little fox’s rear. The little fox turned his head, ready to bite her. Jiang Luoyue quickly pulled her hand away.
“I will repay you in the future, but it’s inconvenient now that I’m injured,” the little fox said lazily. “Don’t worry, we of the Demon Clan are much more honorable than you human cultivators. We repay every kindness and avenge every wrong.” Jiang Luoyue wasn’t angry at the passive-aggressive jab; she just continued to brush his fur.
The little fox felt comfortable and dozed off, rolling over and exposing his belly. After Jiang Luoyue finished brushing his fur, her hand couldn’t help but touch the little fox’s soft belly. It was plump and jiggled. She wondered if this little fox had any cute older or younger sisters she could “pet-suck.” Jiang Luoyue still felt too awkward to “pet-suck” a male fox.
Yue Wenqiu received a message from Yun Kaiji that Li Changting’s injuries had healed, so he immediately rushed over to pick him up. Li Changting was somewhat surprised to hear that Young Master Wenqiu had come to fetch him.
On the way back with him, Li Changting hesitated before speaking. “Young Master Yue, may I ask what your relationship is with my Junior Sister?”
“Dao-companion,” Yue Wenqiu replied simply.
Li Changting’s eyes widened. Junior Sister… is she that amazing? He had thought a noble young master like Yue Wenqiu would be tied down by a political marriage.
“And there is another young man named Jiang Luoxing who is also Luoyue’s Dao-companion,” Yue Wenqiu added. “You’ll meet him shortly.” Li Changting’s eyes, which had just returned to normal, widened again. He felt a strange sensation in his heart.
“Junior Sister… never mind,” Li Changting stopped short, looking at Yue Wenqiu with an expression that made the latter slightly uncomfortable.
“So who is the primary one and who is the secondary one among you?” Li Changting’s expression was odd, and he hesitated for a long time before asking. Not that kind of primary and secondary, but that kind. Li Changting thought Yue Wenqiu would be the main one, given his family background and cultivation, but in matters of affection, who could say for sure? What if his Junior Sister favored the younger man and made him the primary?
“…I am,” Yue Wenqiu bit out the two words, sounding somewhat resentful.
For the rest of the journey, Li Changting didn’t dare to speak. He felt that the previous conversation must have upset Yue Wenqiu.
They arrived at the Song family residence. Jiang Luoyue was sunbathing with the little fox in her arms. She stroked the little fox’s smooth fur, then took out a blue ribbon and tied a bow on the little fox’s tail.
“Take this sissy thing off!” the little fox’s fur stood on end, and he chased his own tail.
“What’s the big deal? It looks great, and it’s blue, not pink. How is it sissy?” Jiang Luoyue put her hands on her hips. If only I had a Polaroid camera. I really should capture this adorable scene.
The little fox pounced at her, but jumped too high and accidentally landed on her chest. The feeling under his paw pads was incredibly soft. If he were in human form now, he would definitely be red all over. He was about to jump down but was caught by Jiang Luoyue and held in her arms. She squeezed the little fox’s soft paw pads. The paw pads are still pink! So cute. Although she knew the little fox was male, since he was always furry, Jiang Luoyue often overlooked their close proximity.
“Junior Sister, I’m back,” Li Changting entered the courtyard. What he saw was a woman like a transcendent immortal, basking in the sun, holding a pure white fox. It was a holy and beautiful scene. Li Changting’s gaze paused, and his steps halted, but he quickly recovered.
“Senior Brother!” Jiang Luoyue set the little fox down and stood up to greet him. “Are you well now?”
“Yes, thank you for saving me, Junior Sister,” Li Changting cupped his hands. Seeing his Junior Sister standing safely before him, his eyes couldn’t help but redden.
“Senior Brother, why were you imprisoned there?” Jiang Luoyue asked, quickly motioning for Li Changting and Yue Wenqiu to sit down.
“I discovered that Master intended to harm you and tried to seek an explanation. He probably feared I would ruin his plans, so he used the excuse that I had offended him and imprisoned me on the charge of showing disrespect to my elder,” Li Changting explained. “Even if I truly offended Master, I should have only been imprisoned for a day or two, not locked in that array that sucked people’s vital energy. When I heard people outside say that Junior Sister was dead, I naturally believed them,” Li Changting continued, lowering his head. “At that time, I felt… completely disheartened.”
Jiang Luoyue laughed and scratched her head. “Well, I’m fine now, aren’t I?”
“Yes, it’s good that you’re alive,” Li Changting said. “I just never imagined that Luo Xiuping could be so ruthless. I respected him so much.” He clenched his fists. Li Changting’s original Masters were Jiang Luoyue’s parents, but after Jiang’s parents passed away, he re-pledged his allegiance to Luo Xiuping.
“It’s alright. We’ll have a chance to kill him eventually,” Jiang Luoyue was full of fighting spirit. The next time she saw Luo Xiuping, she wouldn’t wait a second longer; she would kill him immediately. For now, as Li Changting said, it was enough that she was alive. Revenge would come eventually.
“It’s all thanks to Yue Wenqiu for saving me,” She grabbed Yue Wenqiu’s arm and shook it. Her expression was like a spoiled child, and Yue Wenqiu couldn’t help but curve his lips into a smile.
Li Changting’s eyes darkened slightly but instantly recovered. “You should thank Young Master Yue. I’m relieved that you could become Dao-companions with him.”
“Oh, right, where is that secondary young man? I haven’t met him yet.” Although Jiang Luoxing was present when Jiang Luoyue rescued him, Li Changting’s vision was blurry at the time, and he only clearly saw Jiang Luoyue.
“Who did you say is the secondary partner?”
