- The Junior Sister Isn't Flirtatious At All; It's All Their Fault for Being Too Seductive
- Chapter 12 - Secretly Increasing Affection
The Grand Void Realm was incredibly beautiful. The courtyard appeared to be situated on a solitary island. Jiang Luoyue looked around and could see the edge of the ground, and beyond that edge lay layers of dense fog.
Outside the courtyard stood an enormous peach tree, the trunk of which would require several of her to fully embrace. A gentle breeze blew, and peach blossoms slowly drifted down.
“Isn’t it beautiful? It was formed by Master’s cultivation, so it will never wither,” Wan’er said proudly, holding the bowl of herbal medicine high up.
“Master instructed me to brew this. Drink it for sixty-six days, and then you can leave,” Wan’er informed her.
Jiang Luoyue smiled and thanked him, then gently stroked his head. His hair was much softer than Jiang Luoxing’s or Yue Wenqiu’s; he was truly a child.
Wan’er had always been by Gu Wangfeng’s side and was seeing such a beautiful and gentle woman for the first time. He couldn’t help but blush and turned his head to run.
Women were indeed monsters that captivated the soul!
But after only a few breaths, he ran back. “Why are you just standing there? Hurry up and drink it. I need to take the bowl back to wash it.”
Jiang Luoyue quickly finished the medicine and returned the bowl to him.
Jiang Luoyue did not feel anything unusual about her body, but the System had told her this was her wondrous opportunity, so she thought it unlikely that Gu Wangfeng would harm her.
She stood under the peach tree, collecting the fallen petals and contemplating how to store them, when suddenly, someone handed her a small cloth bag.
It was Gu Wangfeng who offered it to her.
Jiang Luoyue’s attention was instantly drawn to his fair, clearly defined knuckles, which were covered in scars.
“Are you trying to gather the flowers?” Gu Wangfeng asked.
“Yes, thank you,” Jiang Luoyue’s eyes lit up. She happily accepted the bag and put all the flowers into it until it was bulging.
The scent of peach blossoms was not strong, but with so many gathered together, there was still a delicate, elegant fragrance.
Everything within the Grand Void Realm was a result of Gu Wangfeng’s cultivation. Whatever was done here, Gu Wangfeng could sense and feel it.
Jiang Luoyue kept smelling the flowers, which made Gu Wangfeng feel a little embarrassed.
“By the way, is that child, Wan’er, someone you took in from the mortal world? Didn’t you say you haven’t been out for a long time?” Jiang Luoyue asked.
“He is a small blade of grass I enlightened. Plants also have feelings, and he developed his own seven emotions and six desires,” Gu Wangfeng explained.
Oh, so he enlightened a child to keep himself company.
“He is indeed very adorable,” Jiang Luoyue said with a smile.
“He likes to read, and his reading is quite varied. Some of those comments were learned from books; please don’t take them to heart,” Gu Wangfeng referred to the remarks about women being monsters.
Jiang Luoyue then thought of the medicine she was drinking and asked, puzzled, “Why do I have to drink medicine? I’m not injured.”
“Also, that day… I was drugged. How did you counteract it?” Jiang Luoyue recalled the awkward drug. Seeing Gu Wangfeng’s appearance, like a lofty mountain flower, she assumed he wouldn’t have done anything inappropriate to her.
“I forced it out with my spiritual power,” Gu Wangfeng perceived her thoughts.
Although he had changed her clothes, his heart was completely unmoved, despite it being a very beautiful female body.
“As for the medicine, your spiritual roots are not pure,” Gu Wangfeng suddenly stated.
“Your spiritual roots must have been destroyed and then reshaped, but there are many impurities. This will affect your future cultivation,” Gu Wangfeng continued. “After drinking the medicine for sixty-six days, you will need to bathe in the Spirit Spring, starting from the tenth day, until your spiritual roots are thoroughly cleansed.”
Jiang Luoyue almost wanted to kneel down in gratitude. “We just met. Why are you willing to help me so much?”
Gu Wangfeng smiled faintly, like melting ice water. “Since you were able to arrive in this realm, consider it destiny.”
Jiang Luoyue nodded.
Afterward, Jiang Luoyue settled down to live there. However, she spent very little time with Gu Wangfeng, as he mostly stayed in his room to cultivate.
Wan’er, on the other hand, came every day to bring her medicine. Jiang Luoyue would always play around with him, teasing him until Wan’er stamped his feet in anger. “I’m going to tell Master to kick you out!”
Jiang Luoyue laughed heartily, completely unconcerned with her image. Wan’er stomped his foot and ran off in a huff.
“What is your Master’s cultivation level?” Jiang Luoyue asked.
Wan’er was poking randomly at the ground with a branch. “Great Ascension. Master is super powerful, not someone a useless person who just reached the Golden Core stage like you can compare to.”
He could praise his Master, but why must he build one up by tearing the other down!
Jiang Luoyue mercilessly knocked him on the head.
“You… you bad woman!” Wan’er jumped up, trying to hit her back, but his head was held down by a large palm.
“Wan’er, stop fooling around,” Gu Wangfeng’s cool, clear voice sounded.
Wan’er immediately became obedient, but the look he gave Jiang Luoyue was still unconvinced.
Jiang Luoyue stuck out her tongue at him, which made Wan’er even angrier.
Gu Wangfeng said helplessly, “You are quite mischievous yourself, always teasing him.”
Seeing that she had also been scolded by Master, Wan’er immediately became smug. Jiang Luoyue wanted to hit him again.
“Come with me to bathe in the Spirit Spring,” Gu Wangfeng spoke at the right moment, interrupting the two of them.
Jiang Luoyue quickly stood up and followed behind him.
Jiang Luoyue and Gu Wangfeng were bathing in the same pool.
At first, Jiang Luoyue felt a little shy, but then she noticed that after entering the pool, Gu Wangfeng leaned against the wall the entire time, eyes tightly closed, remaining motionless like a statue.
It was uncomfortable to soak in the Spirit Spring while wearing undergarments. Although her undergarments were thin, they still had long sleeves, and sticking to her body was unpleasant. After seeing that Gu Wangfeng was not moving, Jiang Luoyue simply soaked while wearing a small camisole.
The camisole was something she had made herself, thin and soft, with a length that ended above her navel; it was very comfortable.
“Gu Wangfeng’s Affection Level has increased. The host is rewarded with a three-day acceleration in the speed of spiritual root purification,” the System’s broadcast suddenly sounded.
Jiang Luoyue was stunned. She secretly glanced at Gu Wangfeng, but the guy was still keeping his eyes closed.
“How did the Affection Level secretly increase?” Jiang Luoyue whispered to the System.
“Maybe he’s just mènsāo [secretly passionate/prude]. Who knows what he’s thinking inside,” the System whispered back.
“But he has been cultivating here all this time, shouldn’t he have long been unmoved by worldly matters?” Jiang Luoyue wondered.
“Perhaps it’s precisely because he hasn’t interacted with outsiders for too long that his heart is so easily stirred,” the System said, nodding emphatically.
Jiang Luoyue secretly pursed her lips into a smile. Gu Wangfeng looked like an immortal master, yet unexpectedly had a cute, contrasting side.
“What are you smiling about?” Gu Wangfeng opened his eyes. He didn’t understand why the young lady, who had been peacefully bathing in the Spirit Spring, suddenly looked at him and then suddenly smiled. Had he made some indecent movement?
Jiang Luoyue hadn’t expected to be caught. She awkwardly coughed.
“Didn’t you say that everything in the Grand Void Realm was formed by your cultivation? Then is this Spirit Spring also?” Jiang Luoyue pretended to be confused and changed the subject.
Using his own spiritual power to fill the Spirit Spring, and then soaking in it himself—wasn’t this pointlessly redundant? Now he was even helping her restore her spiritual power; he might as well just directly transfer it to her.
“The Spirit Spring was moved here from outside,” Gu Wangfeng frowned slightly, displeased with Jiang Luoyue’s avoidance of his question, but chose not to press her further.
Jiang Luoyue nodded. She knew that cultivators had the ability to move mountains and fill seas, especially those at the Great Ascension stage, who were only one step away from ascension.
