- The Junior Sister Isn't Flirtatious At All; It's All Their Fault for Being Too Seductive
- Chapter 11 - The Third Male Lead
“Luoyue!” “Older Sister!” Uttering these cries one step faster than Cui Yong were Yue Wenqiu and Jiang Luoxing. They had rushed over, yet still arrived a moment too late.
Jiang Luoxing attempted to leap down, but was restrained by Yue Wenqiu.
“I will think of a way; you are merely a mortal,” Yue Wenqiu roared.
Upon hearing those words, Jiang Luoxing indeed stopped moving, only to collapse and sit on the ground, resembling a dejected puppy.
Yue Wenqiu turned his gaze toward Cui Yong, drew his sword, and directly pinned him to a nearby tree trunk.
Yue Wenqiu did not aim for a fatal blow; the sword pierced Cui Yong’s shoulder.
Fresh blood gushed from Cui Yong’s mouth, and only now did panic set in.
However, Yue Wenqiu had no desire to hear his excuses and cast a silencing spell on him.
Yue Wenqiu used a spell to send a message, and soon, a middle-aged man arrived.
“Uncle Chen, please handle things here. I am going to search for Luoyue.” He briefly explained what had happened.
Uncle Chen nodded, then led Cui Yong and Jiang Luoxing away.
Yue Wenqiu searched by the edge of the Grand Void Cliff for several days but could not find any trace. He was forced to turn back.
Grand Void Cliff… All cultivators who fall into it are reduced to nothingness. Let alone a Golden Core cultivator like himself, even a Great Ascension stage cultivator would not dare to explore the bottom of the cliff.
However, Jiang Luoyue, who had fallen into the depths of the Grand Void Cliff, actually encountered a marvelous opportunity.
The bottom of the cliff was intensely cold. In a daze, she felt as if she passed through a barrier, arriving at a warm place. Beneath her was soft grass, and she smelled the fragrance of flowers.
“Master! Someone has intruded!” A sweet child’s voice rang out, and Jiang Luoyue completely lost consciousness.
When Jiang Luoyue vaguely opened her eyes, she saw a person sitting beside her, dressed in white robes, possessing a transcendental aura.
Yet, just as her vision focused, and she tried hard to see his features clearly, a cold flash of light appeared. A chilling sword pressed against her neck, capable of piercing her throat in the next second.
“Who are you? How did you get in here?” the man asked in a cold voice.
Jiang Luoyue did not know how long she had been lying there. She only felt weak all over, and her mind was not very clear.
She took in the man before her: a jade-like countenance, thin lips, and white eyebrows. His entire being was spotlessly white, as if covered with snow, unstained by a speck of dust.
Seeing her dazed gaze, the man couldn’t help but frown. “Who are you?”
Jiang Luoyue finally spoke. “My name is Jiang Luoyue. I accidentally fell in here. May I ask where this place is?”
“You don’t know where this place is?” the man asked in suspicion, not entirely believing her words.
“I was forced into a precarious situation by a villain. I figured that death by jumping off a cliff was a certainty, but falling into his hands was also a certainty, so I might as well die cleanly,” Jiang Luoyue said.
She lowered her head, her tone mournful and utterly genuine.
In truth, while she was unconscious, the man had used a spell to look into her memories, confirming that everything she said was the truth.
The system did not belong to this world, so the man could not see the dialogues and memories related to it.
“My name is Gu Wangfeng. This is the place where I cultivate, the Grand Void Realm,” Gu Wangfeng explained.
He had lived in seclusion and cultivated for many years, and no one had ever entered the Grand Void Realm before.
“Oh, so jumping from the cliff leads to the Grand Void Realm? Did I just happen to be the only one who jumped all these years?” Jiang Luoyue felt there was a bug in this setting.
“Logically, there is a barrier array, and even if someone jumps, they shouldn’t be able to enter,” Gu Wangfeng said, looking at Jiang Luoyue. Her expression was natural, allowing him to examine her freely.
After quite a while, Gu Wangfeng withdrew his gaze. “Never mind. Perhaps we are fated.”
“Rest well here. I will send you out when the time is right.” Saying this, Gu Wangfeng stood up, preparing to leave.
It was only then that Jiang Luoyue realized her clothes had been changed. She spoke up to inquire, “Who helped me change my clothes?”
“The young lady was injured and covered in cold sweat. I changed her clothes after treating her injuries,” Gu Wangfeng said frankly, making it difficult for Jiang Luoyue to feel shy.
Gu Wangfeng called out toward the garden, “Wan’er, bring this young lady’s clothes.”
Soon, a boy who looked about eight or nine years old came running with the clothes, presented them to Gu Wangfeng, and then stood at the doorway, secretly looking at the woman lying on the bed.
“If the young lady wishes to change, she may. Wan’er has washed them for you,” Gu Wangfeng finished, then left with Wan’er.
“Master, when are you sending her away?” Wan’er’s naive voice rang out. “Didn’t you say that women are terrifying creatures and can affect one’s Dao Heart?”
“Wan’er, you must not say such things in front of others. She is a guest,” Gu Wangfeng scolded him in a low voice.
Wan’er pouted and said no more.
Jiang Luoyue twitched the corner of her mouth. Hadn’t she just heard it anyway?
Cui Yong had already been dealt with by the East Mount Sect, and Jiang Luoxing had been dejected ever since he returned.
Yue Wenqiu came to see him. “You… you are not her younger brother, are you?”
Yue Wenqiu had always found the relationship between him and Jiang Luoyue strange, and his attitude toward himself was also odd. What younger brother would constantly be jealous of his future brother-in-law?
This could only mean he was not a blood brother, but rather… a devoted admirer.
“I was saved by Older Sister; she is the most important person to me,” Jiang Luoxing said.
“Do you know how much I wanted to kill you? When you tainted my older sister, I truly wanted to replace you,” Jiang Luoxing was going mad with jealousy. His eyes were red as he spoke these words now.
“But I also knew that only you could protect her. You have decent cultivation, a powerful family background, and you are the famous Young Master Wenqiu. And I am just a dog that only lives because of her charity. I am utterly useless. I even have to beg her for a piece of clothing; I have nothing.”
All the malevolence in Jiang Luoxing’s body dissipated. He knew that in the eyes of cultivators, he was merely an ant that could be crushed effortlessly. He could not protect his older sister.
Yue Wenqiu was stunned, but not surprised. He had long sensed that the relationship between Jiang Luoxing and Jiang Luoyue was unusual.
Now, he finally understood that the young man had only been taken in by Jiang Luoyue. Otherwise, there was no explanation for why Jiang Luoyue would bring along a mortal with no cultivation.
Jiang Luoxing wanted to cultivate, but he had no spiritual roots.
The Nine-Grade Lotus was extremely rare. Yue Wenqiu would not risk his life to gather the spiritual herb for this young man, especially since the person was his romantic rival.
“Older Sister… am I going to lose the family member I worked so hard to gain?” Jiang Luoxing murmured to himself.
“If you have nowhere to go, then stay here for now. I will treat you like a brother,” Yue Wenqiu said.
Jiang Luoxing knew he was a good person—broad-minded and a gentleman—but Jiang Luoxing still loathed him.
He loathed his condescending tone, loathed that he had lived such a happy life since childhood, and loathed that he had won Older Sister’s favour.
