The Gloomy Overseas Student Rewards His Hubby With Some Thirst Traps - Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Yu Yanshuang was dragged out of the dormitory building by Garcia.
Rodney was leaning against a Rolls-Royce Phantom, looking out expectantly. The moment he saw Yu Yanshuang, his eyes lit up.
However, Yu Yanshuang’s gaze immediately fell upon the Bugatti Chiron SS parked behind the Rolls-Royce. He guessed that Sane was inside that car.
Two luxury cars parked outside the dorm attracted a crowd of onlookers, but Sane’s car was particularly eye-catching. Usually, Sane went to school in a bulletproof Cadillac, driven by a chauffeur. This was the first time anyone had seen Sane driving himself, let alone a supercar like a Bugatti.
As the first street-legal civilian car to break the 400 km/h barrier, the Bugatti appealed to those with a pursuit of extreme speed and excitement in their bones. Sane’s custom version was professional racing grade; its name commemorated the first car to break 300 km/h. It was a limited edition, nearly impossible to buy.
Sane’s custom build was breathtakingly beautiful—like a dark, predatory beast crouching on the ground. Its streamlined curves were crafted with artisan precision to cut through the wind, and Sane Bass’s exclusive gold-leaf pinstriping was branded along the side of the beast. It was a one-of-a-kind car; there wasn’t another like it in the world.
As the crowd grew, Yu Yanshuang buried his chin in his scarf, feeling incredibly awkward.
Yesterday, he had posted Sane’s watch on his social circle purely to show the Yu family back home that even if they cut off his allowance, he could live well on his own merits—he even had a watch this expensive.
But right now, with so many people taking photos, there were bound to be Chinese international students. If he were caught hanging out with Rodney—who had a reputation for being gay—he would much rather be seen with Sane, who had a better reputation.
The problem was, he couldn’t let either of them know he already knew Sane… otherwise, it would be hard to explain.
Yu Yanshuang rubbed his nose, pretended not to know Sane, and lowered his head, heading straight for Rodney’s car.
Unexpectedly, Sane rolled down the passenger window, stared at Yu Yanshuang, and said, “Get in.”
Garcia and Rodney both froze, unable to believe that Sane would call out to Yu Yanshuang. Even more unbelievable: Sane knew him?
Garcia whispered to reassure Yu Yanshuang: “It’s fine, go with Sane. The two of us shouldn’t make it too obvious anyway; we can’t let Rodney realize we’re just after his money. Sane is a gentleman and very easygoing, you don’t need to be afraid.”
Easygoing…
Yu Yanshuang thought back to Sane pinning him to the bed. For a man who rarely even smiled, why did everyone keep saying he was “easygoing”?
It seemed no one dared to question Sane’s decisions. Rodney even jogged over to open the car door for Yu Yanshuang, prompting gasps of admiration from the onlookers.
With so many people filming, even the usually arrogant Yu Yanshuang felt a surge of social anxiety. He hid almost his entire face in his scarf, leaving only his black eyes visible.
Rodney said eagerly, “See you at the Chinese restaurant—the one you picked.”
Yu Yanshuang nodded in thanks and sat in the car. Rodney leaned over the window, wanting to say more, but Sane had already pressed the button, and the window slid up smoothly.
Rodney’s face turned grim as he cursed under his breath outside, though he didn’t dare speak up. To outsiders, Rodney and Sane were of the same class, but Rodney knew the truth. Compared to an “old money” titan like the Bass family—whose influence spanned business, politics, and the military—a “new money” family like Rodney’s couldn’t compete. Rodney often had to follow his father’s orders to please Sane, hoping for the crumbs of resources the Bass family might let slip through their fingers.
In particular, Rodney had intentionally driven a four-seater SUV instead of his usual supercar just so he could transport both of them. He even hired a driver so he could spend the time talking to Yu Yanshuang.
But Sane had told him point-blank: “Are you going to hit on your date’s roommate right in front of him? I won’t allow my friend to be so morally bankrupt.”
It was hilarious. Sane never said a word when Rodney dated two people at once! What puzzled Rodney most was that Sane had brought out a supercar that usually sat gathering dust in the garage. Sane had only driven it once, and after that race, he had frowned and said he’d never drive it again because getting in and out of it was “embarrassing.”
Today, Rodney began to wonder: Is Sane gay?! What straight man would go out of his way to show off his “muscles” in front of another straight guy?
…
Vroom!
The supercar emitted a beautiful wave of sound. Amidst the “oohs” and “aahs” of the crowd, the sudden G-force of the acceleration made Yu Yanshuang feel like his stomach was on fire.
Along the way, he noticed Sane looking at him several times. Yu Yanshuang didn’t dare look back, staring straight ahead the whole time. In the enclosed space with Sane, he couldn’t help but recall everything they had done together, even in broad daylight.
The more he thought about it, the more he felt that if last night’s events got out, he would lose face completely. Everyone would think he was gay, right?
But after being “tortured” yesterday, why did Sane proactively come to dinner? Shouldn’t he be avoiding him?
For instance, Yu Yanshuang himself didn’t really want to see Sane; he even found it difficult to look at Sane’s neck.
“Yu, do you like cars?”
Hearing Sane’s question, Yu Yanshuang reflexively glanced over. He realized that for a man of Sane’s 192cm (6’3″) height and large frame, the supercar was indeed a bit cramped. His long legs were practically pressed against the bottom of the steering wheel.
His eyes fell on those sturdy thighs. Suddenly, the image he had searched for at the hotel—of a foot stepping on a thigh—flashed through his mind. He quickly retracted his gaze, his ears turning red inch by inch.
“Hmm?” Sane glanced at him, his gaze lingering on Yu Yanshuang’s ears for a moment. He couldn’t help but say, “Why are you suddenly so well-behaved?”
Yu Yanshuang bit his lip and glared at him, putting on a fierce front. “What, do you want to give me this car so I’ll delete the photos?”
“Would you delete them if I did?”
“If you’re willing to part with it, plus that watch, I might let you go!” Yu Yanshuang sneered. He didn’t believe Sane would actually give them up; their combined value was over a hundred million.
However, as his gaze swept over the art-like interior of the supercar, Yu Yanshuang’s dark eyes grew brighter and brighter.
Sane didn’t miss his expression, but his tone shifted: “I could give it to you, but my parents would investigate you. Everything about you would be easily found, and that would be dangerous for you. So, if you want to drive it, just come find me. You can drive it for fun whenever you want.”
Yu Yanshuang understood. Sane was threatening him indirectly!
A single car would trigger a family investigation? That meant if he leaked the photos, Sane would use his family’s power to hunt him down and torture him!
Yu Yanshuang’s expression grew even more somber. So, Sane is worried I’ll tell his friend Rodney, and he came here specifically to warn me?
Sane asked again, “Yu, do you play video games?”
What does he mean? What is he trying to say? How can he threaten me with games?
“For example, shooting games? Do you like them?” Sane said. “Colt, Glock, the Chinese QSG92, AK, M4… I have them all. Do you want to play?”
The names of the firearms made Yu Yanshuang’s face turn pale. His expression became grave.
He “understood” again. Sane was telling him that if he leaked the photos, Sane would use a gun to blow his head off!
So today is just one big show of force?
Yu Yanshuang was utterly depressed. His appetite was gone. He hadn’t had Chinese food in so long; he had really been looking forward to a hot bowl of soup and a basket of soup dumplings…
“Let me out of the car!”
Yu Yanshuang glared at Sane. “Pull over first. I have something to say.”
Sane blinked, puzzled, but pulled over as requested and looked at him in confusion.
Only then did Yu Yanshuang dare to speak. The supercar was just too fast; he was worried that if he angered Sane, Sane might floor the accelerator and hit something, ending his life. He really, really valued his life.
Yu Yanshuang took a deep breath and used a fierce tone again. “Fine, fine, fine! I’m not going to dinner anymore. You don’t need to threaten me! If you had just stayed obedient, I wouldn’t have actually leaked the photos. But now! You’ve officially annoyed me!”
Yu Yanshuang began unbuckling his seatbelt, turning around only to realize he couldn’t find the door handle.
“Hey,” Sane said, reaching out to press a hand on Yu Yanshuang’s shoulder, turning his body back around.
He stared into Yu Yanshuang’s once-again moist eyes. His heart softened. “I wasn’t trying to threaten you.”
Sane felt a bit of regret. Why had he listened to the “how to chase a straight guy” advice from that trash Rodney?
Yu Yanshuang crossed his arms and sneered, “Then what exactly are you trying to do?”
Sane’s gaze grew dark and unreadable.
To be honest, in his upbringing, he never needed to please anyone. If he wanted something, he only had to look at it a moment longer and someone would deliver it to him. Almost no one had ever lost their temper with him like Yu Yanshuang just did—especially since he grew up; even his parents rarely scolded him.
He undoubtedly had the capital to be proud, but at this moment, Sane told himself that pride would not get him what he wanted. He was currently very, very fond of this game.
After a long silence, Sane cupped Yu Yanshuang’s face and whispered:
“I want to please you.”
