[Gu Jingyun]: Little kid, you haven’t gone to sleep yet?
Seeing this message, Qu Anruo looked at the time displayed on her phone; it was already eleven o’clock.

Looking at the emoji Qu Anruo sent and imagining her sleepless face, Gu Jingyun smiled.
[Gu Jingyun]: If Anruo doesn’t sleep, she won’t be a good little kid.

Qu Anruo couldn’t help but smile at the way Gu Jingyun addressed her.
【Qu Anruo, you’re smiling so stupidly.】666 watched Qu Anruo’s silly smile and felt like she wasn’t very bright.
【What silly smile? This is a smile of love for my sister.】Qu Anruo replied to 666, then ignored it, got into bed, and obediently went to sleep.
Gu Jingyun waited for a while. Seeing no more messages from Qu Anruo, she also went to sleep.
“Ye Yun, you love him that much?” Gu Jingyun stared at Chu Xia, who was holding a dagger against her own neck.
Chu Xia did not answer.
Seeing the male lead rush over, Gu Jingyun lowered her head, kissed the dagger, and then, smiling, pressed her neck hard against the blade.
Blood splattered.
Since Ye Yun didn’t love her, then she would make Ye Yun remember her forever.
The rescued Ye Yun still tightly gripped the blood stained dagger in her hand. In the end, Ye Yun vanished from everyone’s world.
The movie concluded with the female lead not ending up with the male lead, but instead living alone in the house the person she both loved and hated had left her.
She could never escape her, just as she had said.
“Congratulations on wrapping up the filming, Jingyun.” The director handed Gu Jingyun a red envelope.
“Thank you.” Gu Jingyun accepted it and began wiping the fake blood off her body.

After returning home and checking her phone, Gu Jingyun saw the message. She wasn’t surprised how Qu Anruo knew.
[Gu Jingyun]: Thank you, Anruo.
Little Kid: The company has officially been established now, Sister, are you coming to sign the contract?
Zhang Zhou was very efficient; everything was settled in less than two days.
[Gu Jingyun]: Company address.
Qu Anruo was delighted to see the reply and immediately sent the address to Gu Jingyun.
The company was very close to Gu Jingyun’s home, about a twenty-minute walk.
After sending the company address, Qu Anruo quickly drove to the company. After parking the car, she waited for Gu Jingyun at the company entrance.
Gu Jingyun confirmed the company name, and as she was about to reach the entrance, she saw Qu Anruo pacing back and forth there.
“Ruoruo.” Gu Jingyun quietly walked up and patted Qu Anruo’s shoulder.
“Sisterhttps://www.google.com/search?q=!” Worried about Gu Jingyun getting too warm, Qu Anruo quickly pulled her into the company.
Qu Anruo took Gu Jingyun up to her office via the elevator.
Since Qu Anruo was directionally challenged, it was 666 who guided her to find the office this time.
Sitting on the sofa, Qu Anruo took out the contract and a pen. Gu Jingyun signed her name without even looking at it.
“Sister, aren’t you afraid I might secretly switch the contract?” Qu Anruo asked, looking at the unguarded Gu Jingyun.
“Of course not, President Qu, please take good care of me from now on.” Gu Jingyun smiled as she looked at Qu Anruo.
Hearing Gu Jingyun call her “President Qu,” for some reason, Qu Anruo felt it was a little improper.
After putting the contract into the safe, Qu Anruo took Gu Jingyun to a restaurant that Fang Yumeng had recommended for dinner.
Based on the food preferences for Gu Jingyun provided by 666, Qu Anruo ordered nearly half a table’s worth of dishes. If Gu Jingyun hadn’t stopped her in time, she would have kept ordering.
They waited for a while, and the dishes began to arrive.
Seeing that Gu Jingyun genuinely seemed to like every dish she tasted, Qu Anruo secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
Qu Anruo didn’t have much appetite and still needed to go to the hospital for a check-up, so she only took a few shallow bites of food onto her plate before putting down her chopsticks.
“Anruo, why aren’t you eating?” Gu Jingyun asked with concern, looking at Qu Anruo who had put down her chopsticks so early.
“I’m not hungry right now,” Qu Anruo said to keep Gu Jingyun from worrying.
She felt she needed to rush to the hospital for a check-up soon. Her stomach already felt a bit uncomfortable. Did her stomach illness follow her here too?
When Gu Jingyun finished eating, Qu Anruo went to pay the bill.
Gu Jingyun: “Anruo, let me do it.”
“This is a meal to celebrate Sister wrapping up the filming, so I must treat you,” Qu Anruo said, quickly handing her card to the cashier.
“Anruo, are you going back to the company later?” Gu Jingyun asked after getting into Qu Anruo’s car.
Qu Anruo had a pleasant scent about her, but she hadn’t differentiated yet, so Gu Jingyun assumed it was perfume.
“No, I’ll go back tonight to help Sister find a personal assistant,” Qu Anruo replied, focusing on the road while driving.
They hadn’t encountered the male lead yet, which was quite lucky. This was probably the third happy thing that had happened since she transmigrated into the book.
After dropping Gu Jingyun back home, Qu Anruo drove to the hospital.
“Young lady, are you here alone?” The doctor raised her eyes to look at Qu Anruo.
“Yes,” Qu Anruo nodded.
As Qu Anruo finished her examination and weakly walked out, leaning on the wall, she bumped into Gu Jingyun.
Gu Jingyun was talking to a girl. Qu Anruo was about to rush over but was stopped by 666.
【Host, don’t rushhttps://www.google.com/search?q=! That’s the female lead’s younger sister, Gu Jinyihttps://www.google.com/search?q=!】
Oh, so it was Gu Jingyun’s sister. Qu Anruo relaxed.
“Anruo?” Gu Jingyun murmured, seeing Qu Anruo at the hospital.
Anruo? Gu Jinyi wondered. She had never heard of her sister having a friend named Anruo.
“Sister,” Qu Anruo approached the two. “Who is this?” she asked, looking at Gu Jinyi.
“This is my younger sister, Gu Jinyi. She has a bit of a cold recently, so I brought her in for a check-up. Anruo, why are you at the hospital?” Gu Jingyun’s beautiful face was filled with worry.
“I just came for a physical examination. It’s nothing serious,” Qu Anruo waved it off carelessly.
“That’s good. Want to come over for dinner tonight?” Gu Jingyun let go of Gu Jinyi’s hand and walked over to Qu Anruo.
“Sure.” She had always thought Gu Jingyun’s cooking was better than the chef’s at home. After sending a message to her parents on her phone, she sat down on a chair to wait for the sisters.
[Dad]: Which friend?
[Ruoruo]: Just the actress I signed at the company earlier. Her cooking is delicious.
Qu Hanwen felt a pang of sadness upon reading this but then consoled himself, Oh well, my daughter is grown up; I can’t be too strict.
Qu Anruo put away her phone and looked at the two sisters. They didn’t look alike at all. One was the cool, aloof type, and the other was a cute junior high student. But the vigilance in Gu Jinyi’s eyes as she looked at her was not cute at all.
“Did you take a taxi here?” Seeing the two buy their medicine and walk towards her, Qu Anruo stood up and asked.
“Yes,” Gu Jinyi was the one who spoke, which surprised Qu Anruo a little.
“Let’s go then,” Qu Anruo said, taking out her car keys.
Gu Jingyun felt relieved, seeing that her sister and Qu Anruo seemed to be getting along fine.
After getting into Qu Anruo’s car, Gu Jinyi noticed that this car was one she had heard a classmate talk about; it was supposedly very, very expensive. Why would such a rich person help my sister? They must have some ulterior motive.
Qu Anruo didn’t know what Gu Jinyi was thinking. If she did, she would definitely say that she was only after Gu Jingyun’s good looks.
Although Qu Anruo had the car’s navigation on, she mainly relied on 666 for directions. Otherwise, the three of them might not have made it home until very late today.
“Anruo, come with me to buy groceries,” Gu Jingyun asked when they returned home, realizing they didn’t have much food left.
“Okay.” Qu Anruo had never been grocery shopping before and readily agreed to Gu Jingyun’s suggestion.
The two went down to the local supermarket.
It was Qu Anruo’s first time inside a small supermarket like this. Seeing Qu Anruo’s curious expression, Gu Jingyun pushed a cart and followed behind her.
Qu Anruo went to the snack aisle. She wasn’t allowed to eat snacks at home. She remembered once a classmate gave her a bag of chips. When her father found out she brought them home, he confined her to her room for two days as punishment. She never secretly ate snacks again after that.
Gu Jingyun saw Qu Anruo linger in the snack section for so long and thought she wanted something. “Anruo, is there anything you’d like to eat?”
Qu Anruo shook her head.
“I need to buy some for Jinyi anyway. Anruo, help me pick some out.” Gu Jinyi didn’t actually eat snacks; Gu Jingyun just wanted Qu Anruo to choose some.
Qu Anruo picked out a few things that children usually liked.
The two went to the produce section. Gu Jingyun looked at the vegetables and asked, “What would Anruo like to eat?”
“Sister can decide; I’m not picky,” Qu Anruo said, following behind Gu Jingyun and helping her select vegetables.
“This one isn’t fresh,” Gu Jingyun said, looking at the wilted carrot Qu Anruo was holding.
Qu Anruo put down the vegetable. She decided not to cause any more trouble for Gu Jingyun.
After buying the groceries, the two left the supermarket, carrying large bags.
“Let me carry some for you,” Qu Anruo said, seeing that the plastic bag straps had turned Gu Jingyun’s hands red.
“I’m an Alpha; this little bit of weight is nothing,” Gu Jingyun replied. Only then did Qu Anruo remember that she was in an ABO world.
When the two got back home, Gu Jinyi was nestled on the sofa watching TV.
“Your sister bought these for you to eat,” Qu Anruo said, handing the bag of snacks to Gu Jinyi.
“But I…” Gu Jinyi was about to say that she didn’t like snacks but was interrupted by Gu Jingyun.
“You two eat together. I’m going to cook,” Gu Jingyun said, tying on an apron and heading into the kitchen.
“So, her sister bought these for Qu Anruo. Gu Jinyi watched as Qu Anruo placed the bag into her lap. “Eat.”
Qu Anruo was flattered and held the snacks. “Aren’t these your favorites?”
“Just eat them when I tell you tohttps://www.google.com/search?q=!” Gu Jinyi tore open a bag of chips and put them in Qu Anruo’s hand.
Ahem, it’s not that I want to eat them; this person insisted, so I couldn’t refuse, Qu Anruo thought, eating the chips in her hand.
【Host, you’re so two faced.】666 said, sipping tea in the system space.
【Want some?】Qu Anruo wiggled the chips in her hand at 666.
【I’ll just have one bite.】666 said, and a bag of chips appeared in its hands in the system space.
So good. 666 thought, eating the chips.
“Do you need my help?” Qu Anruo put down her snacks and went into the kitchen.
“No, it’ll be ready soon. It’s smoky in here, Anruo, you should go out first.” Gu Jingyun was already working on the last dish, and the kitchen was small, making it a bit crowded with two people.
“Alright.” Qu Anruo was a little disappointed to hear she couldn’t help.
“Then Anruo, could you pour the drinks, please?”
