The CEO Omega’s 'Soft Rice' Alpha - Chapter 57
Chapter 57
Previously, Su Yi’an had made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with her arranged childhood engagement. Hearing that the Lan family was the one backing out now was good news, but it was strange her father had never mentioned that the Lans were reluctant before. It seemed her father only planned to cancel it if there was absolutely no hope of her marrying Lan Yin.
“Why?” Su Yi’an asked.
“Well, uh…” Old Man Su stammered before finally admitting, “It seems the Lan girl already has someone else. Don’t be sad, An’an. Weren’t you the one who didn’t want this anyway?”
He sighed, complaining that she had missed out on a good wife because she refused to meet her. Su Yi’an ignored his nagging, her mind racing. Lan Yin has someone? We’ve only been in Miaoshan for a few hours. Who could have moved that fast?
Sensing an opportunity, Su Yi’an smirked. “I don’t agree.”
“What?!” her father sputtered.
“I said, I want to marry into the Lan family. I think the sister of ‘Brother Lan’ you mentioned is quite good. I want to have children with her.”
Her father was stunned. He remembered Lan Yan beautiful, cold, and much older than Su Yi’an. But since his daughter finally wanted to settle down and have kids, he was willing to throw away his pride to make it happen. Su Yi’an warned him not to interfere yet, as she was still in the “pursuit stage.”
Meanwhile, Lan Yan had woken up and “fled” Su Yi’an’s room in a panic. She remembered everything calling the girl “Rabbit,” demanding wine, and nuzzling her neck. She felt like an “old pervert” taking advantage of a younger girl. She scrubbed the scent of wine off herself and headed out to find the others, still too embarrassed to face the “little Alpha.”
She suddenly realized she had missed her 7:30 PM meeting with the actress Chen Zhi. When she called to apologize, Chen Zhi sounded distracted.
“President Lan? It’s fine. I’ve decided to stay in the city longer,” Chen Zhi said, her voice dropping. “As for the signing time… it depends on my girlfriend.”
On the other end of the line, Lan Yin was being pinned down by Chen Zhi. Every time she tried to move, the “abstinent Movie Queen” would kiss her.
Lan Yin was fuming. Her “rabid dog” story was true sort of. She had been cornered by a literal stray dog, but then Chen Zhi had appeared in a car and rescued her. Due to a flat tire and a sudden Rut period, Chen Zhi’s pheromones had gone haywire. Somehow, the two ended up in a flurry of kisses, and Chen Zhi had even temporarily marked Lan Yin.
Now, Chen Zhi was playing the “victim,” claiming Lan Yin had stolen her first kiss and must take responsibility. She even blackmailed Lan Yin into promising to cancel her engagement.
Back at the inn, He Xia and the others were in a panic. Lan Yin had called saying she was trapped by a “rabid dog,” but they couldn’t find her anywhere.
Just as they were about to call the police, Su Yi’an walked out. Using her powerful mental perception, she scanned the area and paused, her expression turning odd.
“No need to look,” Su Yi’an said. “Lan Yin is back.”
A black car pulled up. Lan Yin stepped out, her face flushed and glowing, looking remarkably well-cared for. Following behind her was a tall, cold beauty Chen Zhi, the dream Alpha of countless Omegas.
The group of students broke into a chorus of screams at the sight of the superstar.
