The CEO Omega’s 'Soft Rice' Alpha - Chapter 30 (2)
Chapter 30 (2)
No one mentioned the “old woman” matter again.
After finishing dinner, Su Yi’an bid the group farewell and walked out of the school gates with the movie tickets tucked in her pocket. Sister wouldn’t arrive for another hour, which gave her enough time to…
Su Yi’an’s eyes flickered. She deftly shook off her “little tail,” He Xia, who was trying to follow her. Then, she took out her phone, snapped a photo of the movie tickets, and sent them to Lan Yan: “Sister, a classmate gave me two movie tickets. They’ve all seen it already, and I don’t know anyone else here. Could you accompany me to watch it? I really like the film queen, Chen Zhi.”
Gag. Editing that last sentence, Su Yi’an nearly made herself sick thinking about Chen Zhi calling her “Little Nun” while sending her those spicy novels and movies. She had to admit, though as much as He Xia was a big-mouth, she had provided the perfect excuse to invite Sister to the movies.
Lan Yan was currently chatting with her grandfather. When her phone buzzed, she picked it up immediately. Glancing at the screen, she slowly typed out one word: “Okay.”
Chen Zhi she actually liked her too; or rather, she liked many of the characters she portrayed.
The corners of Su Yi’an’s mouth curled into a smirk. She tore the movie tickets into pieces and tossed them into a trash can. Half an hour later, she sent Lan Yan another message: “I’m so sorry, Sister. There were too many people on the street just now, and I wasn’t paying attention—I lost the movie tickets. I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.”
Lan Yan was about to reply that it was fine and they could just skip it.
Immediately after, Su Yi’an sent another: “I bought two new tickets at the theater near your house instead. It’s more convenient there. Sister, let’s go to that one.”
Lan Yan’s finger paused. She directly sent Su Yi’an a 200-yuan “Red Envelope” (digital cash gift).
The little girl must be heartbroken over the cost of those two tickets, she thought. It was an accident; how could she let her spend her own money?
