Chi Jingyan Straddles Jiang Mengyu
The guest room didn’t have its own bathroom, so Jiang Mengyu had to use the one outside.
The entire apartment was air-conditioned, making it comfortably warm. With her hair half-dried, Jiang Mengyu stepped out wearing only a fitted nightgown.
She had assumed Chi Jingyan would still be showering, but as she passed the master bedroom, she noticed the door was slightly ajar, with soft, melodious music drifting out.
Jiang Mengyu paused. “Ayan?”
A response came quickly from inside. “Come in.”
Pushing the door open, Jiang Mengyu’s gaze first landed on the spacious two-meter bed in the center. The master bedroom’s decor was similarly minimalist and elegant, much like the guest room refined yet carrying a hint of coolness except it held more of Chi Jingyan’s personal belongings.
Her eyes swept the room and soon found Chi Jingyan.
She was seated by the floor-to-ceiling window, her back to Jiang Mengyu, her figure mostly obscured by the wide armchair. Only her slender, porcelain calves were visible, crossed elegantly.
Jiang Mengyu’s gaze shifted to the coffee table, where a bottle of white wine sat, clearly already opened.
Silently, Jiang Mengyu took a few steps forward, finally getting a clear view of Chi Jingyan.
She lounged with one leg crossed over the other, dressed in a two-piece sleep set—a white silk camisole nightginner paired with a matching robe.
Yet, whether intentional or not, one side of the robe still draped neatly over her shoulder while the other had slipped down to her elbow, revealing the delicate curve of her shoulder and the graceful lines from her neck to her collarbone.
Chi Jingyan seemed oblivious to the exposure, swirling her wine glass as the pale golden liquid released a rich, fruity aroma.
Beyond that, Jiang Mengyu caught a faint woody fragrance in the air. Glancing toward the display shelf, she spotted a burning scented candle on the lowest tier.
Jiang Mengyu almost laughed but held back, choosing not to call attention to it. Instead, she took another step forward and crouched in front of Chi Jingyan.
“Ayan, don’t drink too much at night. It’ll upset your stomach.”
Chi Jingyan’s expression stiffened imperceptibly. She shot Jiang Mengyu a sidelong glance and let out a soft scoff. “I want to.”
Her tone carried unmistakable irritation.
Somehow, she was upset again.
Of course Chi Jingyan was upset. Jiang Mengyu was such a blockhead was the wine really the point here??
She had gone to all this trouble, only for Jiang Mengyu to act completely blind to it. It made Chi Jingyan feel ridiculous.
She had agonized over this earlier, forcing herself to go through with it despite the embarrassment, all while secretly anticipating Jiang Mengyu’s reaction.
And yet, this clueless woman hadn’t noticed a thing!
Frustrated and humiliated, Chi Jingyan was about to set the glass down when Jiang Mengyu suddenly caught her wrist.
“Since it’s already poured,” Jiang Mengyu murmured, her lips brushing against Chi Jingyan’s wrist, “don’t let it go to waste.”
Chi Jingyan momentarily forgot her anger. She stared wide-eyed at Jiang Mengyu, unable to summon even a trace of resistance as her wrist was guided by Jiang Mengyu, bringing them closer together. The wine in the glass tilted, spilling over the rim where Jiang Mengyu’s lips met it, sliding down her throat.
Those beautiful, thin lips glistened with moisture from the wine, appearing tender and soft under the light, as if they had just endured some deep, intimate act.
Chi Jingyan even noticed a drop of wine that hadn’t been swallowed in time, trickling down the corner of Jiang Mengyu’s mouth.
Her hand loosened instinctively.
The glass fell onto the carpet with a muffled thud, the last remnants of wine splashing out and leaving dark, wet stains on the deep-colored fabric, intensifying the fruity aroma in the air.
Jiang Mengyu lowered her lashes slightly, and though Chi Jingyan couldn’t discern the emotion in her eyes, she could see how Jiang Mengyu tilted her head to peck at her fingertips.
The warmth of those lips brushed lightly against her fingers, sending a tingling itch creeping up from her fingertips, until Chi Jingyan’s face flushed completely without her realizing it.
Jiang Mengyu seemed drunk. She inhaled the scent of Chi Jingyan’s wrist and murmured, “Ah Yan, you smell so good.”
This wasn’t the first time Jiang Mengyu had said something like this, yet Chi Jingyan’s heart still raced upon hearing it again.
Kisses rained densely along the inside of her wrist, and soon, Chi Jingyan felt as though her entire arm no longer belonged to her numb and weak, utterly devoid of strength.
She bit her lower lip, refusing to let any shameful sounds escape.
As if finally satisfied, Jiang Mengyu released Chi Jingyan’s wrist and stood up, bending one knee to kneel beside her.
Her gaze was too scorching, too blatant. Chi Jingyan instinctively turned her head away, avoiding Jiang Mengyu’s eyes.
She knew what Jiang Mengyu wanted to do. Compared to last night, Chi Jingyan now felt more nervous, tinged with an elusive anticipation.
Yet Jiang Mengyu didn’t immediately lean down to kiss her.
Her fingertips lingered along the sides of Chi Jingyan’s slender neck. With her vulnerable spot under someone else’s control, instinct made Chi Jingyan tense up. But in the end, she only gripped the armrests of the chair tightly, tilting her neck back in compliance with Jiang Mengyu’s guiding touch.
Only now had Chi Jingyan truly understood her own heart. She was desperate to confirm her place in Jiang Mengyu’s heart, so even though she knew Jiang Mengyu’s actions were somewhat excessive, she still yielded and indulged her.
Jiang Mengyu looked down at Chi Jingyan from above. In this moment, the power dynamic between them seemed to reverse. Though the young mistress still wore a cold, silent expression, she allowed herself to be restrained half-submissive, half-indulgent.
Jiang Mengyu exhaled slowly, lowering her head slightly. The necklace around her neck swayed with the movement, the engraved letters “CJY” reflecting a dazzling silver glow under the light, bright and indelible.
Chi Jingyan closed her eyes briefly. At least for now, she thought, Jiang Mengyu was still hers alone her loyal little dog, devoted to no one else.
When she opened her eyes again, a hint of recklessness flickered in Chi Jingyan’s gaze. She hooked a finger around Jiang Mengyu’s necklace and yanked her down fiercely.
The metal necklace dug into the back of her neck with a sharp sting, forcing Jiang Mengyu to bend forward. In the next moment, Chi Jingyan’s teeth sank into her lips.
Miss Chi wasn’t very skilled at kissing her movements were clumsy and unpracticed, but her teeth were sharp, biting Jiang Mengyu’s lower lip until it throbbed with a mix of pain and tingling pleasure.
Jiang Mengyu lowered her gaze, studying Chi Jingyan’s expression. Chi Jingyan didn’t close her eyes either. Their stares collided midair, both pairs of eyes burning with unspoken excitement and a hunger for dominance.
This was probably the first time they had kissed so fiercely.
It wasn’t just Jiang Mengyu delving deeper Chi Jingyan was also fighting with everything she had to make Jiang Mengyu submit. The two of them were locked in a silent battle, where the thrill of the mind far outweighed the pleasure of tangled lips and tongues.
It was impossible to tell how long the kiss lasted. When they finally pulled apart, Jiang Mengyu distinctly tasted blood in her mouth.
The wound on her lip had split open again.
In contrast, Chi Jingyan’s lips weren’t bleeding, but they were flushed a deep red, slightly swollen from before.
Both of them were breathing heavily. Jiang Mengyu’s eyes were half-lidded, while Chi Jingyan stared at her with unmistakable hunger, as if twin flames flickered in her pupils.
So kissing could be this much fun.
Their pheromones intertwined intimately in the air. Just as Chi Jingyan thought Jiang Mengyu would take things further, Jiang Mengyu suddenly straightened up and took a step back.
Chi Jingyan froze. She had already prepared her rejection but Jiang Mengyu didn’t follow the script.
“I’m sorry.”
Ignoring the blood still seeping from her lip, Jiang Mengyu bent her knees and dropped to the floor, kneeling stiffly before Chi Jingyan.
“I was wrong, Ayan.”
Chi Jingyan was so stunned by this that she couldn’t react for a long moment. The restless heat surging through her body seemed to vanish in an instant, leaving her heart cold.
After a long silence, she finally moved her lips, her voice rough. “What are you doing?”
Jiang Mengyu lowered her head, refusing to meet Chi Jingyan’s eyes. Instead, she stared fixedly at the carpet in front of her. “I shouldn’t have treated you like that.”
Chi Jingyan didn’t know what expression to wear.
“So you think… just now, I was only influenced by pheromones. Is that it?”
Jiang Mengyu countered, “Wasn’t it?”
Chi Jingyan couldn’t answer.
She hadn’t expected the boomerang to hit her this hard.
Back when Jiang Mengyu had tried to seduce her, she had scoffed and belittled her time and again.
Now that she was willingly approaching Jiang Mengyu, Jiang Mengyu refused to believe her.
Chi Jingyan’s emotions were a tangled mess regret mixed with fury, twisting her expression into something ugly.
But asking her to explain herself was out of the question.
Was she supposed to admit that she had wanted it too?
That she had gone out of her way to set everything up tonight just to lure Jiang Mengyu in?
That would be worse than death for her.
The pride ingrained in Miss Chi’s bones wouldn’t allow it.
So instead of explaining, Chi Jingyan let out a cold snort. “You like kneeling that much, huh?”
She leaned back in her chair, lifting one leg to rest her foot on Jiang Mengyu’s shoulder. “Then you can just keep kneeling here until you don’t feel like kneeling anymore.”
Jiang Mengyu tilted her head slightly, getting a clear view of the foot pressed against her pale, meticulously cared for, with glossy nails painted a healthy, delicate pink.
Chi Jingyan raised her chin slightly. “What do you think?”
Jiang Mengyu swallowed. “I’ll do whatever you say.”
Perhaps because they had just kissed, her voice was deeper than usual.
Chi Jingyan suddenly felt her own leg grow warm. The faint, lingering scent of jasmine curled around her nose, making her limbs feel weak.
She forced herself not to show any hesitation.
“You really enjoy being a dog, don’t you?”
Chi Jingyan’s gaze lingered on Jiang Mengyu’s neck. “How about I put a collar on you?”
Far from being angry, Jiang Mengyu even pressed further, “Will you make it yourself?”
Chi Jingyan: “…”
Chi Jingyan’s face threatened to flush again. “In your dreams!”
She withdrew her foot and stood up. “I’m tired.”
With that, she turned to head toward the large bed. After a few steps, she glanced back and saw Jiang Mengyu still kneeling in place, her eyes fixed on Chi Jingyan’s figure.
Chi Jingyan gritted her teeth. “If you want to kneel, go back to your own room and do it. Don’t stay here annoying me.”
Jiang Mengyu understood her meaning perfectly. The young mistress seemed incapable of speaking properly, what she said never matched what she truly meant.
Jiang Mengyu stood up. “I don’t want to kneel, and I don’t want to go back to my room.”
She paused, then asked, “Ayan, you’re not angry with me anymore, are you?”
Chi Jingyan hadn’t been angry at first. But Jiang Mengyu’s sudden kneeling and apology had infuriated her.
