The Blind Alpha Coveted by the Frail Beauty Omega - Chapter 31
A Not-So-Pure Alpha
The tips of her teeth traced along the delicate texture, selecting the weakest point to pierce the skin.
At this moment, the two scents of pheromones merged completely, and the rich, fragrant floral scent filled the entire room. The air seemed as though it were about to drip with flower nectar, so cloyingly sweet it made one’s head spin.
The Alpha’s gaze was obsessed and lost, while the Omega still maintained a modicum of reason, coaxing her word by word in her ear—praising her as “good” and “clever,” hoping she would give even more.
The freesia attempted to taint every inch of the Omega’s skin. All sounds of pleasure and abandon dissolved between their lips and teeth, leaving only the sound of splashing water.
Wei Jiangxue enveloped that cloud-like pinkness; her labial peak trembled as it pressed against it, bestowing a cherished, light kiss.
Mi Ruian felt her breathing become labored, while simultaneously feeling astonished by how quickly Wei Jiangxue learned. As the teacher, she naturally refused to be outdone.
Her breathing fell into total chaos.
A sweet floral fragrance, brought by no one knew whom, diffused between their lips and teeth. The scent was so heady it almost induced a state of intoxication. Neither was willing to be the first to retreat, as if this were not a common encounter, but a silent contest.
Mi Ruian was panting for breath. She reached out to cover the lower half of Wei Jiangxue’s face to prevent her from going further, but Wei Jiangxue did not dodge; instead, she kissed right into the palm of her hand.
Mi Ruian: “…”
The sunlight faintly peeking through the gaps in the curtains slowly vanished, then reappeared once more.
Wei Jiangxue was like an oversized dog with boundless energy, pulling Mi Ruian along to play tirelessly. Once the latter was exhausted and lay on the bed with limp limbs, the former would lean in close to her face and lick away the tears shed from pleasure.
“Is it still not enough?” Mi Ruian asked with a hoarse voice, lifting her eyes to look at Wei Jiangxue.
Wei Jiangxue was still in her rut. For some reason, she was slow to regain her senses. Logically, a temporary marking had already been made, so why was Wei Jiangxue still acting this way?
Mi Ruian couldn’t figure it out, but since this was the Alpha she had chosen and the current events were of her own volition, she naturally followed Wei Jiangxue’s lead.
Wei Jiangxue whimpered and hummed with dissatisfaction and grievance, likely upset that Mi Ruian was holding her hands.
But in reality, as long as Wei Jiangxue wanted to, she could break free at any time.
Mi Ruian couldn’t help but find it amusing. Why was she acting like a submissive, innocent little puppy? She was clearly so unrestrained and incredibly greedy.
She had only slept for a short while in the middle of it all, yet when she woke up, there were several tooth marks on her chest. Could they have appeared out of thin air?
There was only one suspect present.
The Alpha stared at the Omega, the frantic craving in her heart still unsatisfied.
She wanted more.
Mi Ruian spoke at the right moment, hooking her finger at Wei Jiangxue, who was looking at her expectantly: “Come here. Answer a few questions for me, and then I’ll reward you.”
Instead, her finger was met with a warm, wet sensation, as Wei Jiangxue took a mile and gave it a lick.
“Truly disobedient.” Even though Mi Ruian said this, she still leaned in. “First question: who sent you to get close to me?”
Consciousness felt as if it were sleeping in the silent deep sea, then it slowly floated upward, hearing the clamor of the world once more.
Wei Jiangxue opened her eyes to another expanse of void.
It seemed a long, long time had passed—so long that she could no longer distinguish between reality and illusion. So, was it a dream?
Meeting System 233, who claimed that completing tasks could restore her sight, and later using a task reward to successfully see the world… these unrealistic memories were actually a dream, right?
But the other senses that subsequently regained feeling told Wei Jiangxue that this was no dream.
Beneath her hand was a warm, soft, rhythmic rising and falling.
Her other free arm was draped around a… person?
Wei Jiangxue instinctively reached out and gave a squeeze. Realizing what she was touching, she suddenly held her breath and quietly withdrew her hand, any remaining sleepiness instantly dispelled.
Who was this beside her? What was she doing originally?
The person involved felt extremely conflicted as the memories in her mind gradually became clear.
She had utilized the reward given by System 233 to briefly restore twelve hours of sight. However, within that time she could see, Wei Jiangxue had, at most, six or seven hours of memory.
First, Mi Ruian had extended a helping hand in Wei Jiangxue’s moment of crisis, helping her lose the stalker—though, to a large extent, Mi Ruian was also solving her own trouble.
Next, Mi Ruian informed her that they couldn’t go back to the rental house and had to find another safe place. Mi Ruian intended to show her gratitude, so she was willing to cover Wei Jiangxue’s accommodation and meals during this period.
Then, Wei Jiangxue was brought by Mi Ruian to an apartment in a bustling downtown area. Not long after, her rut began, and System 233 was likely forced to disconnect due to the host privacy protection mechanism.
Finally…
The last fragmented image was of herself swaying as she stood up, wanting to go to the bedroom door, where Mi Ruian was standing. The other woman seemed to be coming to… deliver a suppressant?
So where did the suppressant go?
Wei Jiangxue cautiously reached out to touch the body beside her. From that soft curve, she felt upward to the protruding shoulder blades on the thin back, and then the smooth, slender neck…
She stopped her hand.
Perhaps there was no need to further confirm the identity of the person beside her.
As she touched the bite mark on the surface of the gland, countless shattered memories resurfaced.
Fair, tender, soft… and the excitement of the teeth piercing the gland to inject pheromones inside.
In that instant, the Omega had let out a whimper of either pain or pleasure. Now, the scene seemed to replay, and that sound made the now-sober Wei Jiangxue freeze in place.
It felt as if the blood in her entire body had frozen; her head was buzzing.
Even though her progress in learning basic ABO physiology was mediocre, Wei Jiangxue still understood exactly what she had done.
She had marked Mi Ruian. Even if it was only a temporary mark, they had performed the same actions as normal lovers.
The absurd and blurred memories instantly gave rise to fear, panic, and disbelief, accompanied by a hidden throb of excitement.
In the moment of Wei Jiangxue’s confusion, the person in her arms suddenly let out a soft moan, heavy with exhaustion: “Hmm? You want to go again? Fine, do it yourself, I can’t move anymore…”
The voice was very familiar; it was Mi Ruian.
Wei Jiangxue could feel those soft, boneless arms wrap around her waist. Like a cat sleeping in, Mi Ruian found the most comfortable spot to rest, pressing her head against Wei Jiangxue’s soft abdomen.
Without any fabric separating them, the strands of hair poked at Wei Jiangxue’s skin, making her itch.
But at this moment, compared to that itch, she mostly felt a sense of shame.
Seeing that the Alpha hadn’t moved yet, Mi Ruian even found it a bit rare. She mumbled something unclearly, tilted her face up, and seemingly without fully opening her eyes, kissed Wei Jiangxue’s skin by feeling alone.
The warm breath puffed against the sensitive flesh. After realizing Wei Jiangxue really wasn’t leaning in, Mi Ruian asked in confusion: “Strange, are you finally tired? Then stay still and sleep… ah?”
Halfway through her sentence, Mi Ruian’s voice changed its tone. She paused; the sleepiness was gone, replaced by a hint of a smile.
The arms around Wei Jiangxue’s waist tightened, and Mi Ruian buried her face back into her body: “It seems your rut has passed.”
Mi Ruian spoke so naturally and casually, making Wei Jiangxue’s panic seem like an overreaction.
But what happened during these days of the rut was no small matter!
Wei Jiangxue hesitated for a second, then realized that what she and Mi Ruian had done was the pheromone marking that countless people in the ABO world cared about!
Her freesia pheromones had already merged completely with the rose scent in the air—seamlessly, without any gaps—as if they were deeply branded onto each other.
Wei Jiangxue had heard 233 say that after an AO marking, the Omega would carry the scent of the Alpha’s pheromones, and vice versa. Furthermore, both parties would develop a deep and heavy dependence on each other due to the fusion of pheromones, and could not be easily separated.
She couldn’t even bother with what 233 had said before about Mi Ruian’s pheromones being a deterrent to Alphas; her only thought was to figure out exactly what happened.
The fragmented memories only let Wei Jiangxue understand that there was a temporary mark between them, but what about the rest?
Who started it? Could this have been avoided? Was her mission going to fail? Why hadn’t 233 appeared yet?
Various questions flooded her mind, but she could only solve the last one.
It was likely because she and Mi Ruian were unclothed, so 233 could not violate the privacy of the host and the protagonist; the communication frequency was still blocked outside the small world.
“That day, you came to deliver the suppressant, and then we…” Wei Jiangxue’s voice was dry, forcing out each syllable.
“Oh? You forgot.” Mi Ruian’s tone was light. It wasn’t clear if she was angry or not, but she seemed somewhat satiated. “You…”
Taking advantage of the fact that Wei Jiangxue couldn’t see, she began to talk nonsense: “I originally wanted to leave after giving you the suppressant, but you grabbed my hand and locked the door.”
Mi Ruian didn’t continue with what happened afterward; she wanted Wei Jiangxue to fill in the blanks herself.
What would an Alpha in heat force an Omega to do?
“So, did we…” Wei Jiangxue still held a glimmer of hope in her heart.
“Did we what?” Mi Ruian intentionally teased her, embracing Wei Jiangxue again. Her fingertips brushed against Wei Jiangxue’s collarbone, her expression carrying a bit of mischief.
“…I’m sorry!” Wei Jiangxue kept her eyes tightly shut, pushing Mi Ruian away in shame and kneeling on the bed to apologize to her.
Mi Ruian raised an eyebrow slightly: “It’s normal for an Alpha in heat to have special needs. I don’t mind doing something like this that makes us both happy. But, since you marked me, you have to take responsibility.”
The embarrassment surfacing on this beautiful face was truly too cute.
As expected, it was only a not-so-pure Alpha whose every move would leave Mi Ruian unable to see through her.
