She Said That Kisses and Hugs Are Needed for Redemption [Quick Transmigration] - Chapter 19
The tracking mark of the Nine-Tailed Fox clan was extremely difficult to erase. It required another fox to use their own aura to cover and remove it. The Nine-Tailed Foxes were naturally proud and would never deign to erase a mark left by their own kin for an outsider, not to mention that the method for removal was somewhat embarrassing.
Fu Lancen hesitated for a long time. Her reason told her she should erase the mark on Lu Xi as soon as possible, but the moment she thought about doing it, her heart throbbed incessantly and her entire body felt flushed.
The night deepened. The dense forest blotted out the sun and sky, leaving the two women hidden beneath the trees in profound darkness.
Lu Xi had excellent vision. She caught sight of the little fox’s already crimson cheeks and her shy, hesitant expression, which made Lu Xi’s heart tighten. Her mind began to wander as she wondered if some strange or unusual act was required to remove this mark.
Images of things best left unsaid flashed through her mind. Lu Xi felt a surge of heat in her lower abdomen. A peculiar sensation slowly spread to her limbs and rushed to her head. She instinctively sat up straight and moved her gaze away, quickly forcing those blood-pumping images out of her mind.
For a moment, the wind died down and the insects hummed in unison. It felt as if time had quietly stopped while a tense, scorching atmosphere slowly built up.
After a long while, a cool hand rested on Lu Xi’s shoulder, interrupting her tangled thoughts. Her body went stiff for a second as another gust of warm air seemed to brush past her ear. Lu Xi did not dare turn her head, fearing the enchanting little fox would lean in and use her fox-clan charms to lure her into an intimate encounter.
“Lu Xi.” The girl’s sweet voice was like the flowing water under a bridge in the south; it was soft, delicate, and tinged with a faint shyness as it crept into Lu Xi’s ear. “To remove Bai Youran’s mark, one must… must have close physical contact with another fox.”
The last few words were light and airy, like the flick of a fox’s ear, softly sweeping across Lu Xi’s trembling heart.
Lu Xi did not dare move. She could only maintain her composure and ask in a calm voice, “How close must this contact be?”
A withered leaf fell from a branch, swaying with the wind before landing softly on a rounded shoulder. Fu Lancen stared at the yellowed leaf for a long time. Her slender fingers brushed the leaf away and slid down along the slightly open, thin collar of Lu Xi’s robe.
After touching the delicate collarbone, she lowered her head with a red face, hiding her eyes that were shimmering like ripples on water. “Like this.”
Perhaps Lu Xi had hidden it too well, for the shy girl did not notice the internal fire or the stiff, motionless body of the person in her grasp. Her bone-soft fingers slowly explored further inward. The warmth of the skin made the girl’s face burn even hotter.
Just as she was about to pull open the fastened collar, a breathless Lu Xi pressed down on that wandering hand. “Does it… really have to be like this?”
While she did not lose her appetite for doing such things with Fu Lancen, they were not even in an official flirtation stage yet. Doing this now felt a bit too fast.
“This is the only way.” The woman’s crimson earlobes and hesitant words actually caused Fu Lancen’s shyness to dissipate quite a bit. She had not expected this usually serious woman to be so nervous and bashful.
Seeing that Lu Xi was even more embarrassed than she was, Fu Lancen slowly calmed her restless heart. Her gaze landed on the pink tip of Lu Xi’s ear. Biting her lip, she suddenly felt a mischievous urge to tease her.
The suppressed nature of a fox was quietly released. The girl’s snowy-white arm rested on the woman’s shoulder. Her well-manicured fingers covered that lean face and, with a gentle push, forced the woman with the wandering eyes to look back at her.
Fu Lancen blinked her misty fox eyes. Her trembling eyelashes cast shadows over the pools of water in her gaze. Strands of hair fluttered in the breeze, hanging softly by her ears and adding a touch of piteous charm to her already brilliant face.
“To avoid being found by Bai Youran, we must have a very close encounter.” Saying this again, Fu Lancen’s unnatural timidity had lessened, replaced by a practiced, alluring charm.
Lu Xi was forced to look into those shimmering fox eyes. The light brown pupils reflected her own flushed face. With a slight blink, the eyes seemed to carry a hint of demonic energy, like mist over water, as a flirtatious intent slowly rippled out.
Her breathing hitched and her spine shivered. Lu Xi wanted to turn her head away. She was certain that Fu Lancen was seducing her and truly intended to engage in those unspeakable, wicked things.
“But…” she instinctively tried to refuse, though her words came out muffled. “But we are out in the open here. I… I am not quite used to it.”
She was human, after all. She wasn’t like Fu Lancen, who could sleep anywhere with a curl of a tail. She still preferred sleeping in a soft bed.
Before she could finish, a wind brushed past her ears. Her vision blurred, and when she opened her eyes again, Lu Xi realized she was no longer in the dense forest.
The warm glow of candlelight flickered gently, casting light on the gauze curtains surrounding them. The indistinct environment made the atmosphere even more suggestive. She looked down to find herself on a canopy bed covered in thick bedding. Pale pink silks hung all around, swaying slightly as she moved and dazing her eyes.
Noisy sounds reached her ears, specifically the suppressed moans of women coming from the room next door.
Lu Xi was speechless. If she guessed correctly, this place was likely a legendary brothel. Fu Lancen had actually brought her here? And she hadn’t even set up a barrier to block out those sounds.
Hearing a live version for the first time, Lu Xi’s head buzzed. She grabbed the girl’s hand just as it was about to strip off her dress. After a moment of silence, enduring the tingling sensation in her heart, she bit her lip and whispered, “Does it have to be in a place like this?!”
The blankets were soft, the room was large, and the girl was gentle, but she did not want to do bad things right next door to someone else!
Fu Lancen gripped the woman’s stiff hand back, prying the slender fingers open one by one. She slowly shed the gauze dress from her own body. “You are so slow. You couldn’t be nervous, could you?”
Lu Xi had already turned her head away the moment the girl revealed her porcelain shoulders. Listening to the continued friction of fabric and the sound of the girl lifting the covers, she swallowed hard.
“Come here!” The girl’s voice was soft and seductive. “Take off your clothes and get under the covers!”
Lu Xi closed her eyes, intending to shut off her five senses, when she felt something fluffy touch the back of her hand. A warm paw pad pressed down gently. Surprised, she turned her head and saw a snow-white fox curled up in the blankets. Nine fluffy tails nearly took up the entire bed, swaying back and forth in a way that made one itch to take them into one’s arms and give them a good rub.
“You, why did you change back into your original form?!” Lu Xi froze, not understanding how they were supposed to do “bad things” like this.
