She Comes Into My Dreams Every Night - Chapter 7
Chapter 7: Stop Dreaming
The phone vibrated with a buzz, the screen lighting up to show a new friend request. The profile picture and name were blank, and the request field simply read: [I am Lin Jue.]
Su Huaiwang tapped ‘Accept,’ and Lin Jue immediately sent her first message.
[Lin Jue]: Hello.
Su Huaiwang looked at her rigid, grammatically correct message, complete with a period, and inexplicably sensed a certain awkwardness. She couldn’t help but laugh, feeling that Lin Jue might truly not use these electronic devices much.
She was a vibrant twenty-year-old, yet she lived exactly like an elder disconnected from the modern age.
Su Huaiwang put down her phone, her mind slightly drifting.
It wasn’t until another buzz that she was pulled back from her thoughts.
Lin Jue had sent a string of numbers.
[Lin Jue]: Phone number.
Su Huaiwang saved the number to her contacts, though in this day and age, unless it was work-related, calling was rarely used.
She replied to Lin Jue with a waving emoji. The other side was silent for a moment, then, learning quickly, sent the same emoji back.
The cute emoji, however, looked a bit mismatched with her completely blank profile picture.
Su Huaiwang put down her phone, finished blowing dry the last bit of dampness on the ends of her hair, and, surrounded by her two dogs, returned to her room.
Ignoring the hopeful eyes of the three little animals, she ruthlessly closed the door, retreating into her private world.
She lay down on the soft, sun-scented bed. After several days of rain, the sun had finally come out, and she had taken all her bedding outside to air. Now, lying down felt exceptionally comfortable.
With a full stomach and a comfortable environment, Su Huaiwang’s heart began to stir with lust.
She struggled to shift her gaze away from the small cabinet and onto the book placed on the bedside table.
She got up and flipped through two pages of the book, but couldn’t absorb a single word. Her mind was filled with inappropriate thoughts.
It had been many days. To preserve her moral bottom line, she had given up her little hobby for almost half a month. Wasn’t it about time to indulge?
Besides, she had established a friendship with Lin Jue, and she hadn’t dreamt of Lin Jue for the past few days. Come to think of it, Lin Jue must have been driven out of her dream, right?
Su Huaiwang convinced herself in her heart, slowly setting the book down and, suppressing her excitement, walked toward the small cabinet.
When she pulled open the cabinet, the small toy she had last used half a month ago was conspicuously sitting right in the center, as if mocking her.
Swish With a swift movement, Su Huaiwang emotionlessly slammed the small cabinet shut again.
Su Huaiwang grabbed the phone discarded nearby, opened the VPN with a blank face.
Hmph, she could still use her hand just fine.
…
It was the dream again.
Drowsiness enveloped her. Su Huaiwang vaguely felt she couldn’t open her eyes and could only peer through a tiny slit, hazily looking at the girl in front of her.
So cold.
She playfully rubbed her cheek against the other’s soft hand.
A similarly soft kiss descended onto her lips. Su Huaiwang kissed her passionately, casting aside all etiquette and shame.
It had been a while, but her body still remembered the feeling of her fingers.
Su Huaiwang waited, anxiously waiting for those beautiful hands to work on her body.
But they were slow to move, as if the other person was angry at her deliberate avoidance and wanted to tease her.
During a break in the kissing, Su Huaiwang cried out in dissatisfaction: “Move! Hurry up!”
The other person paused for a moment, seemingly surprised by her current petulance, but quickly accepted the reality.
She really started to move as Su Huaiwang had instructed.
When she felt the lips and tongue move downward, Su Huaiwang was simultaneously horrified and ecstatic.
She grabbed the girl’s soft black hair, half-expecting, half-apprehensive, and actively opened herself up.
An unfamiliar visitor knocked at the door. Amidst the stimulation, she felt a sense of loneliness and isolation.
There was no body to embrace, only wave after wave of sensation pushing her to continuous climax. Her hands gripped the black hair tightly, using it to share the unbearable, surging lust and fear. She had forgotten that the person beneath her might feel pain, and only kept pouring out the emotions she had stored in this body for twenty-five years.
The obedient girl beneath her passively received it, being pulled and torn by her. Her amber eyes looked up at her with reliance.
Feeling her lips, tongue, and biting with her body, Su Huaiwang’s brain seemed to have been condensed into a single, incredibly simple, fragile point. She couldn’t think of anything. Even pain was transformed into pleasure.
“So cold…” the woman cried out in a moment of gasping.
The girl paused for a second.
This time, it was too hot. The rapid change between cold and hot made Su Huaiwang tremble uncontrollably. Unable to stop herself, she pressed down hard on the head in her hands, completely disregarding the other person’s feelings.
Teary-eyed, she raised her head and saw the delicate face buried beneath her, a face as exquisitely carved as jade—
Lin Jue.
“Buzz.”
The vibration of her phone woke her from her sleep, her heart beating at an alarming speed.
Su Huaiwang gasped for air, sweating profusely again, and the area between her legs was sticky as usual.
As the memory of the dream returned, Su Huaiwang seriously pondered the likelihood of falling off the bed and dying.
After a moment’s thought, she decided it was best not to try yet. If she was going to try, she should wait until her underwear was washed.
She picked up her phone. There were two messages.
[Lin Jue]: Good morning. Can I join you when you walk your dogs this evening?
[Lin Jue]: I want to try to make them like me a little more.
Perhaps the first visit had left too deep an impression. Lin Jue’s “Good morning” message was timed at 10:40 AM, which was completely outside the scope of morning.
Su Huaiwang slapped the phone face-down onto the bed, then pulled the quilt over her head.
She truly hated herself for watching oral-sex content as an appetizer last night!
Her moral bottom line had been completely destroyed. All those days of effort only led to a more severe rebound. Even now, thinking about it, she still felt terrified.
She actually did that to Lin Jue, to Lin Jue’s face! And the thing that made her feel most life-weary was…
…it was really good.
Just thinking about it made her scalp tingle, and something was slowly but powerfully rising in her heart again.
Taking two deep breaths, Su Huaiwang climbed out of bed and walked into the bathroom to splash some cold water on her face to calm down.
After a while, the clean and refreshed Su Huaiwang returned to the bed and picked up her phone.
[Su Huaiwang]: Tonight’s not really possible. I plan to…
Su Huaiwang’s typing finger paused. She thought for a moment, then typed a few characters.
[Su Huaiwang]: I plan to give them a bath tonight, so I won’t let them run around outside.
[Su Huaiwang]: How about tomorrow night?
Successfully sending the message, Su Huaiwang breathed a sigh of relief and tossed the phone away again.
Sending Lin Jue a message felt scalding hot now, let alone meeting her.
Meanwhile, the three little fur babies had no idea that they were about to undergo a group bath due to their owner’s moral predicament.
On the other side, Lin Jue received a negative reply, and her mood sank slightly.
The phone in her hand was significantly different from Su Huaiwang’s. The entire body emitted an eerie, ghostly energy. Lin Jue recalled the appearance of Su Huaiwang’s phone in her mind and made further adjustments. After a few more rounds of tweaking, this piece of machinery, which was too sophisticated for her, would be declared a success.
For most of the time, Lin Jue obediently stayed in the house Su Huaiwang believed to be her “home.”
Even though the house’s interior was empty, narrow, and rough, in Lin Jue’s heart, it was a thousand times better than the place she had once inhabited.
The reason was simple: only by staying here could she fulfill her wish to be with Su Huaiwang.
But it wasn’t close enough, far from it. She could only smell Su Huaiwang’s scent, but couldn’t see or feel her.
Lin Jue closed her eyes, meticulously weaving the scenario of last night’s dream in her mind.
Su Huaiwang’s dreams were not exciting, too full of violence and panic. Lin Jue devoured them completely, leaving only what Su Huaiwang desired.
But to Lin Jue’s surprise, what Su Huaiwang desired was connected to sex, and specifically—her face.
Recalling Su Huaiwang’s compliments about this face before, Lin Jue unconsciously touched her cheek. Her skin felt smooth and delicate; a deceased person would not undergo any change.
This face, which she—which “Lin Jue”—had hated while alive, made her feel fortunate for the first time, glad that she possessed a face that met Su Huaiwang’s aesthetic preference.
In fact, if Su Huaiwang wanted a different face, she could conjure it. The dream was her territory, a manifestation of Su Huaiwang’s deepest consciousness. She could rummage through Su Huaiwang’s desires and satisfy and please her to the best of her ability.
She didn’t possess Su Huaiwang’s intense moral conscience. As long as it made Su Huaiwang satisfied, truthfully, which face she used didn’t matter. She was just very happy that, even if only slightly, Su Huaiwang had chosen her face.
The curve of Lin Jue’s lips rose, a look of happiness unbefitting her identity appearing on her face.
She just wondered if this could bring their relationship a step closer.
When they truly became “friends,” would Su Huaiwang let her do such things for her in reality as well?
Although she didn’t fully understand what sex was all about, she didn’t care. As long as it made Su Huaiwang happy, she was willing to try and learn anything.
The sun crossed the sky. In the complete darkness of the room, Lin Jue saw Su Huaiwang carry a large basin out into the yard, fill it with water, roll up her sleeves, and drag the trembling, howling Little Yellow into the basin.
That dog kept trying to escape from Su Huaiwang, and Lin Jue’s mouth drooped again.
The perpetually smiling young face appeared particularly dark and disgruntled at this moment.
That dog… was simply ungrateful! The thing she desperately longed for, and it didn’t enjoy it, but constantly thought of escaping?
The strong emotions characteristic of a resentful ghost began to swell. Jealousy wanted to pull her back into her own fog-shrouded world.
But she couldn’t.
Lin Jue closed her eyes, calming her emotions.
Su Huaiwang was a living human being. Love was not about possession and compulsion.
She constantly reminded herself.
It was just…
The amber eyes opened again, a dense network of blood vessels flashing across the whites of her eyes.
Those clear pupils were filled with disappointment, almost to the point of overflowing.
She truly missed Su Huaiwang.
