Self-Perception - Chapter 38
Are You Hurting Anywhere?
The bright yellow light cast down, merging the overlapping shadows of the two people on the bed.
Wen Jinyan bit her lower lip lightly, her amber eyes misting over, looking pitiable and moving. A restless heat spread from her earlobes to her entire body. She moved slightly, turning her face away, and the kiss landed on her neck, changing from small nips to fine, fragmented kisses.
As breathing deepened, the woman on top moved from her neck to her shoulder, grinding her teeth against the fabric of her clothes.
“Gu Wansheng, drink some water first,” Wen Jinyan said, using some force to push the woman away.
After coaxing her into drinking the honey water, Wen Jinyan cleaned the glass and put it away. When she returned to the room, she found the woman curled up with her back to her, arms tucked between her thighs and the other hand clutching the pillow, her beautiful swan like neck arched back.
In the room, Gu Wansheng’s breathing fluctuated between slow and heavy, her voice letting out ambiguous low moans. The heat Wen Jinyan had just managed to lower surged back instantly, her throat tightened. She softly called Gu Wansheng’s name, realizing her own voice had gone hoarse.
Gu Wansheng turned to look at her, a fine sweat on her face and hair sticking to her cheeks. She smiled, vibrant and soul-stirring, especially her peach-blossom eyes, which were flirtatious and full of affection.
“Yanyan…” Gu Wansheng suddenly cried out softly. Her hand didn’t stop moving, her neck arched in a beautiful curve, her body trembling uncontrollably.
Then, a long, drawn-out moan blossomed in the space.
A minute later, Gu Wansheng reached her peak.
She removed a small sleeve from her hand, then leaned over to open the nearest drawer, pulling out a pink packet and tearing it open. Swaying unsteadily, she tried to put it on several times without success, letting out a frustrated, dissatisfied hum.
“Is it broken?” Gu Wansheng shook her head, staring at the thin strip in her hand and waving it around.
Watching this, Wen Jinyan felt her blood rush. Gu Wansheng, unable to put it on, tossed it carelessly onto the floor and reached out again.
She wanted to go again!!!
Wen Jinyan quickly stepped forward and caught her hand.
“Hmm?” Gu Wansheng let out a soft, questioning sound from the back of her throat. She froze for a few seconds, then broke into a smile. “Yanyan.”
Up close, her eyes were misty, like a spring pool, her skin pale and lips red. The corners of her eyes tilted up in a fine curve toward her temples, breathtakingly beautiful.
Gu Wansheng’s shirt had been unbuttoned at some point. She subconsciously twisted her waist to find a comfortable position, the movement was large enough that the shirt fell open, revealing a flash of vivid color.
Wen Jinyan’s breathing grew heavy. She held Gu Wansheng’s moving hand and used her other hand to pull the quilt over her, covering most of the view.
“Gu Wansheng, you aren’t in a state to do this right now,” Wen Jinyan replied solemnly, though her breath was completely ragged.
“Why not?” Gu Wansheng’s voice was low and slow. She blinked sluggishly, the smile in her eyes and the curve of her lips never fading.
“You’ll get hurt.” Wen Jinyan looked at her hands; the fingernails hadn’t been filed smooth and felt a bit rough to the touch.
“But I want to. Yanyan, help me.” Gu Wansheng didn’t pull her hand away instead, she sat up and rubbed against Wen Jinyan. “You feel so cool, so comfortable.”
Her head nuzzled into the crook of Wen Jinyan’s neck. Wen Jinyan tilted her head, trying to regulate her breathing, but the drunk Gu Wansheng was like a snake, winding around her flexibly. She lifted herself up and her warm lips easily captured Wen Jinyan’s earlobe.
Wen Jinyan let out a muffled sound, blushing. “Gu Wansheng, I don’t know how.”
“I’ll teach you…”
The voice was soul-snaring. Gu Wansheng gave her a pleading kiss on the corner of her mouth. “Please?”
Wen Jinyan’s eyes were flushed with passion. She tore open a packet and put it on. It was her first time using one, she felt curious, her fingers moving, it was slippery and a bit cold.
Would it be very cold when it goes in?
Wen Jinyan looked at Gu Wansheng, recalling her own previous experiences. It shouldn’t be cold; after all, she hadn’t felt cold before.
Gu Wansheng seemed to grow impatient, pulling Wen Jinyan’s hand downward. Wen Jinyan’s eyes widened slightly. The moment she touched that warmth, a string in her brain snapped, leaving her mind blank and her spine stiff.
Gu Wansheng twisted her waist, the corners of her eyes turning even redder. She dissatisfyingly bit the cheek of the person over her, urging, “Move…”
Gu Wansheng held her, bowing her head to breathe like orchids in her ear. Her voice was deep and seductive, and Wen Jinyan gradually became lost in it.
“Not there…” Gu Wansheng’s eyes welled with tears, her voice carrying a sob of endurance.
“Gu Wansheng…” Wen Jinyan was also at a loss. She pulled her hand out, her voice nervous and frantic. “I… I can’t find it.”
“Don’t move.”
Gu Wansheng slumped against her, clutching her clothes tightly and biting her lip. She… she was doing it herself…
Ambiguous sounds collided in the room. Gu Wansheng’s waist trembled, and then she collapsed onto Wen Jinyan, panting softly. She had reached it again.
Wen Jinyan threw the used item into the trash. She took some tissues and wiped the woman down, then wrapped her in a quilt and moved her to a nearby soft sofa so she could change the bedsheets.
She grabbed her pajamas and went to the bathroom. When she came out, Gu Wansheng was sitting on the bed. Hearing the sound, her eyes looked straight over.
Surely she doesn’t want more.
Wen Jinyan walked over and said softly, “Gu Wansheng.”
Gu Wansheng looked up. As Wen Jinyan approached, Gu Wansheng wrapped her arms around her waist.
“Gu Wansheng, let’s go to sleep, okay?”
The person buried in her clothes whimpered twice. After a long silence with no movement, she acquiesced.
Wen Jinyan covered Gu Wansheng with the blanket. As soon as she lay down, she was embraced from behind. Gu Wansheng still smelled of alcohol mixed with the scent of Yulong Labdanum tea. The two distinct scents didn’t feel out of place on her. Wen Jinyan thought she should hate the smell of alcohol, but on Gu Wansheng, it wasn’t so bad.
I’ll let her bathe tomorrow. She’s really in no state for it now.
The next morning, Gu Wansheng felt her head throbbing. Looking down, she saw Wen Jinyan leaning against her collarbone, only the crown of her head visible. She pulled Wen Jinyan closer as fragmented memories of the previous night flooded back.
Her phone rang. Gu Wansheng turned the volume down, saw the caller, and lightly released Wen Jinyan to step out and answer.
“Sister Shang.”
“Wansheng, I’ve sent someone over with the dress for the charity auction the day after tomorrow. Make sure to wear the HD high-end necklace, let the reporters take more photos for publicity.”
“Okay, will do.”
Celebrity charity auctions were like that, charity on the surface, but in reality, a battlefield for status, capital, and networking. The only truly useful part was that half the money went to children in mountain areas.
Sister Shang chatted about a few other matters. By the time Gu Wansheng returned to the room, Wen Jinyan was getting dressed with her back turned.
The woman’s back was beautiful, pale and thin but not fragile, especially the small brown mole below her waist dimple, which shifted with her movements, looking incredibly sexy.
She had heard people call waist dimples “The Dimples of Venus,” a symbol of beauty. At the time, she thought it was an exaggeration. There are plenty of people in the entertainment industry with them who wear backless dresses to show off. But the first time she saw Wen Jinyan’s, she couldn’t look away, especially that tiny mole.
Wen Jinyan’s waist was slender. If one were to grip it from behind, the thumbs would fit perfectly into those two little hollows, like an invisible force pulling one in.
Gu Wansheng stared intently. Wen Jinyan didn’t notice as she fastened the last button. Suddenly, her back was embraced, the strength around her waist tightening. She turned her head, her ear brushing against soft, cool lips.
“Gu Wansheng?”
“You’re so thin,” Gu Wansheng murmured, her chin resting on Wen Jinyan’s shoulder.
Didn’t she already know I was thin? Why say it now? Is it because holding me is uncomfortable?
“Did I do something… out of line last night?” Gu Wansheng had blurry images in her mind but couldn’t remember clearly.
Wen Jinyan answered with a question: “Why do you ask?”
Gu Wansheng stared at her earlobe, the pale ear was visibly turning pink. Her ears… are red?
“I was drunk last night, and my memory is a bit messy. So… did I do it with you last night?”
She peeked at Wen Jinyan’s expression. Wen Jinyan had her head down, thinking.
What if Gu Wansheng finds out I used my hand to satisfy her several times? Would it hurt her pride? She’s always been the dominant one in this, last night I was half-dominating. She had seen online that some couples were sensitive about who took the lead. If Gu Wansheng knew… Never mind.
“We did it,” Wen Jinyan said, looking at her.
Why does she have such a… righteous look in her eyes?
“Oh… oh,” Gu Wansheng didn’t know how to respond.
Thinking she didn’t believe her, Wen Jinyan added, “It felt very good.”
Gu Wansheng’s ears felt hot. Was I that insatiable while drunk?
“Then do you…” Gu Wansheng’s gaze shifted downward. “Do you hurt anywhere?”
Hurt?
Wen Jinyan looked at the cautiousness in Gu Wansheng’s eyes and opened her mouth. “No. Your… technique was very good. It felt very good.” Fearing she wouldn’t believe her, Wen Jinyan emphasized, “Extremely good.”
Like a five star review.
“Really? Let me see?” Gu Wansheng said, reaching to lift the quilt.
Wen Jinyan’s legs clamped together under the covers, her hands pinning the quilt down. “No, I don’t hurt.”
“Then… I’ll head to the company first. You rest well at home.” Gu Wansheng touched the woman’s face and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
As soon as she walked out the door, Gu Wansheng called Bai Jin.
“What’s up?” The voice on the other end sounded listless.
“Wen Jinyan really loves me.”
“Huh?”
“I did some pretty ‘excessive’ things to her last night while I was drunk, and she didn’t push me away at all. I know how I am when I’m drunk, and she just gave me whatever I wanted.” Gu Wansheng watched the elevator numbers count down, her smile reflected in the metal walls. She quickly tried to pull a straight face.
“Wait.” Bai Jin took a deep breath over the phone. “Is it polite to abuse a ‘single dog’ like me this early in the morning?”
Then Bai Jin hung up on her.
Gu Wansheng: “…”
Is it not okay to talk about this in the morning?
