- Reincarnated as a Sickly Princess, She was Kidnapped by the Evil Dragon Lady
- Chapter 11 - Resistance?
When Illycia reached the window, she mustered all her strength and pushed it open. The world outside unfolded before her eyes.
Gazing at the architectural complex before her, which resembled the structures she had known in the Roland Empire, Illycia fell into a daze.
Fortunately, she could confirm that she was no longer in the original Roland Empire. The architecture here differed significantly from that of the Human Race.
A new question arose in Illycia’s mind:
“Where… am I?”
Looking at the endless expanse of buildings stretching as far as the eye could see, and considering her current location, Illycia formed a startling hypothesis:
She seemed to be imprisoned within a castle.
The realization brought a wave of discomfort.
I’ve been locked up in another place again…
As she thought this, the scenery outside suddenly lost its vibrancy. Feeling disheartened, Illycia slumped back onto the bed.
But soon, she rallied her spirits, resolving to first understand why she had been captured and brought here, and then to devise a plan for escape.
After all, even though she didn’t know why she had been brought here, the elaborate effort to capture her couldn’t have been merely to move her to a different cell—unless that dragon was completely insane.
Illycia approached the door and pressed her ear against it, listening for any movement behind it.
Confirming that no one was behind the door, she cautiously opened it.
Unfortunately, the moment she opened the door, she was met by two maids standing in the doorway, staring directly at her.
Illycia looked at the two women, an awkward silence settling between them.
“May I ask if you need anything?” one of the maids spoke first, addressing Illycia.
Illycia stared at the two maids, her gaze drawn to the pair of… horns? protruding from their heads.
Yes, horns.
Though the maids appeared human in form, they sported large horns and scaly tails that peeked out from beneath their skirts.
These features unmistakably identified their true nature: they belonged to the Dragon Race.
Illycia, though shocked, forced herself to remain calm and waved her hand dismissively.
“N-nothing… I was just looking…”
With that, she slammed the door shut and slumped against it, sliding down to the floor.
After seeing the two Dragon Race maids at the door, Illycia had come to an astonishing realization: she was likely in a nation entirely populated by Dragons.
The thought made her swallow hard.
In human books, Dragons were rarely mentioned, but every appearance showcased their earth-shattering power, capable of leveling mountains and splitting seas. This alone spoke volumes about the Dragon Clan’s might.
Yet now she found herself in a place where Dragons were everywhere!
Illycia’s throat went dry as she imagined the implications, her heart pounding with panic.
If every Dragon here possessed the same combat prowess as the one who had abducted her, she couldn’t even begin to fathom the sheer terror of this nation’s collective fighting strength.
“No, I have to get out of here… I need to tell Dad and the others what’s happening…”
As Illycia thought this, her resolve to escape grew stronger.
But halfway through her plan, she remembered the current situation of her family.
Based on her last memories before being captured by the dragon and losing consciousness, that damned beast had nearly wiped out everyone outside, then found her, severely injured her two sisters, and carried her away.
What about my brother, Dad, and Mom…?
A terrifying conclusion rose in Illycia’s heart, causing her entire body to tremble uncontrollably.
She couldn’t believe that after slaughtering everyone outside, the dragon would spare her family.
The thought nearly broke her.
Even though she had only come to inhabit this body midway through, essentially taking it over, the warmth her family had shown her during her time in this world had been genuine.
At this realization, Illycia’s eyes reddened, and her hands clenched tightly around the hem of her skirt.

“Your Majesty, have you captured that person?”
In the palace hall, a strikingly beautiful purple-eyed woman sat upon the throne. She was none other than the Black Dragon who had brought Illycia here.
Kneeling before her, an elderly woman leaned on a cane, her head bowed in respectful inquiry.
“Hmm,” the Dragon Queen replied coolly, yet her words brought undisguised joy to the faces of those present.
“Then allow me to offer my congratulations to Your Majesty once again…”
“Spare me the formalities. Simply fulfill your duties.”
“Yes, Your Majesty…”
Having heard what she wanted to hear, the Dragon Queen rose from her throne.
“I am weary. Let us conclude for today.”
With that, she swept out of the hall, leaving the assembled dragons to exchange uneasy glances.
As she prepared to return to her chambers alone, the Dragon Queen suddenly recalled Illycia’s appearance when they first met.
As fellow purple-eyed beings, yet belonging to different races—human versus her own. It was nearly impossible for her not to be curious.
So, she made a detour and arrived at the door of Illycia’s chamber.
“Your Majesty…”
The two maids guarding Illycia’s door immediately bowed deeply upon seeing her, addressing her with utmost respect.
“Hmm,” she replied coolly, opening the door under their watchful gaze.
But when she entered, Illycia was nowhere to be seen.
Just as she was eyeing the open window, wondering if Illycia had escaped through it, Illycia herself sprang from behind the door, a flower vase raised high. She swung it at the back of the intruder’s head.
The attack, however, failed to achieve its intended result. The vase stopped less than a centimeter from its target, Illycia’s arm seized in a vise-like grip.
At that moment, she turned to face Illycia, who had attacked her. A mysterious light swirled within their matching violet eyes.
With a swift motion, she flung Illycia aside and snatched the vase from her grasp, watching as the woman tumbled to the ground.
Yet even as she saw Illycia sprawled on the floor, she couldn’t help but feel a flicker of surprise.
She had meticulously controlled her strength, reducing it to the level of an ordinary human. Yet Illycia had still crumpled like a flimsy piece of paper, offering no resistance whatsoever.
This realization struck the Dragon Queen: Illycia was far more fragile than she had imagined.
Still, this fragility could never justify Illycia’s attack.
“Why did you attack me?” she demanded, her gaze icy as she stared down at the fallen woman.
But when she saw the redness in Illycia’s eyes, her expression faltered.
