Reborn as an Alpha and Still Wanting to Engage in Lesbian Relationships - Chapter 22.3
The leisure manor was in the neighboring city, a few hours’ drive away, so early in the morning, while the little ones were still asleep, they were carried into the car.
By the time they opened their eyes, their surroundings had completely changed.
Pressing against the car window, the view outside was an endless stretch of lush green grassland. The meticulously maintained lawn was adorned with neatly arranged flowers planted by gardeners, and beautiful butterflies fluttered among the blossoms.
What child could resist such a sight?
None!
So, as soon as the car came to a complete stop, the little ones scrambled eagerly to get out.
Determined to impress everyone, Manman remained seated in his child safety seat, biding his time.
After his little friends had all disembarked, he refused his mother’s offer to carry him. Instead, he tilted his chubby little chin upward and, under the watchful eyes of his companions, slowly reached out to unbuckle the safety belt on his child seat. His face scrunched up with effort as he gradually slid down from the seat.
Hooray, the first hurdle was cleared!
Standing steadily inside the car, Manman, the Great King, glanced at the now-empty safety seat and silently cheered himself on.
Next up, getting out of the car!
Manman walked to the edge of the car door and tentatively stretched out a foot, only to find it dangling in mid-air, still a long way from the ground.
An adult could have stepped down effortlessly, but Manman was still a toddler with a three-heads-tall stature.
After a moment’s thought, the Great King Manman decided to employ the “reverse parking” method to disembark. He turned his body around, lowered one foot first, then the other, and clung to the car’s interior while his feet dangled in the air. Slowly, he inched his way downward.
The onlookers held their breath, watching as his feet drew closer to the ground, their tension mounting.
Finally, through the little one’s efforts, his feet touched the ground. Letting go of the car, he stood firmly on his own.
Only then did the onlookers release the breath they had been holding, their hearts settling back into place.
Seeing Manman land safely, the other children immediately broke into loud applause, crowding around him excitedly and chattering in a language only they could understand.
Especially Manman’s little admirer, Fang Jin, who seemed determined to exhaust every exaggerated compliment she had ever learned in her young life!
The Great King Manman, having successfully dazzled his little friends, puffed out his chest with pride and strode forward confidently.
As the children excitedly showered him with praise, they chased butterflies and picked flowers, gradually falling behind the adults.
Since it was a private estate and the children were followed by a large filming crew, Liu Ying and the other parents weren’t worried about any child-snatching villains lurking about. They chatted leisurely as they walked ahead.
Surrounded by the admiring gazes and praises of his friends, the Great King Manman was utterly pleased with himself. He strode forward without even paying attention to the path.
Sometimes, accidents happen in an instant.
“Honk!”
A fierce goose’s cry snapped the Great King Manman out of his proud reverie.
Staring at the goose’s hard beak, the little emperor-like Manman finally realized what his foot was stepping on, and his eyes widened in shock.
His clean little shoe had, quite unfortunately, landed squarely on the webbed foot of the notorious and evil Goose King!
Manman immediately pulled his foot back, but it was already too late.
The furious Goose King fixed its beady black eyes fiercely on the toddler, who was about the same height as itself, and let out another sky-piercing honk.
The goose’s cry was so loud that even the adults, who were now some distance away, heard it.
Liu Ying and the others paused, turning around in confusion to check on the children behind them.
For the first time in their young lives, the children were facing such a menacing goose king. Panic-stricken and disoriented, they began running in all directions.
But how could a little toddler with short legs outrun a flying goose!
The wicked goose showed no favoritism wherever it flew near a child, it would stretch its neck, open its beak, and give them a sharp peck, making the little ones burst into loud wails.
Watching the ferocious goose, Jiang Man, the little troublemaker, started crying for real.
She never imagined that even after the world had evolved so much with humans now having six genders this terrifying, evil creature known as the goose still existed!
Is that even normal?!
Chased by the goose, the four toddlers were panting heavily, their strategy shifting from simple evasion to defense and counterattack.
But the nimble, wicked goose always managed to dodge every “attack” the children threw at it. No matter how hard the four toddlers tried, they just couldn’t defeat the evil goose!
Seeing the goose flapping its wings and flying straight toward her, Jiang Man quickly threw the flower in her hand, hitting the goose square in the face, then turned and scrambled away in a messy run.
Poor thing, she hadn’t even learned to walk steadily yet, and now she had to start running. The difficulty was comparable to a child trying to build an airplane.
But human potential is often forced out in desperate situations!
Jiang Feng and Liu Ying watched the chubby toddler running clumsily across the grass. Though it didn’t look graceful, she miraculously managed to dodge the goose’s attacks every time, just when they were holding their breath in fear.
Jiang Feng told his wife to take the guests and go ahead, deciding to risk himself and save the child from the goose’s beak.
But before Jiang Feng could even prepare, the exhausted toddler’s trembling legs gave out first, and she tripped over a small stone on the lawn.
With a thump, the little one fell face-first onto the ground.
The wicked goose didn’t care one bit about the fallen child. Flapping its wings menacingly, it charged toward her.
As it ran, it didn’t forget to let out its sinister, honking cries.
Jiang Man had no strength left. Watching the evil goose draw closer, she resignedly hugged her little head and waited peacefully for the pecking to come.
But the expected pain never arrived. After waiting a moment, Jiang Man cautiously peeked out and realized that Wenqing had somehow run in front of her and was now bravely fighting the evil goose with a stick.
Fang Jin and Mu Qian had also found suitable “weapons.” Letting out a fierce “Aow!” they charged at the goose, weapons in hand.
One goose was no match for three sticks. The goose retreated step by step, but the fire in its beady eyes only burned brighter.
Seizing the opportunity, Jiang Man scrambled up, picked up the stone she had tripped over, and threw it at the evil goose with all her might.
“Honk!”
The wicked Goose King was thoroughly enraged by these four reckless toddlers. Taking a step back, it tensed its body and charged straight at the children.
Sensing the danger, Jiang Man quickly alerted her “comrades”: “Pwah!” Run!
Hearing Jiang Man’s warning, the toddlers hurriedly scattered to both sides. But the goose couldn’t stop in time and crashed headlong into Jiang Feng, who had come to rescue the child.
Before the wicked goose, everyone is equal.
Whether you’re a toddler under a meter tall or an adult well over a meter; whether you’re a celebrity, a CEO, an actor, or a professor in the eyes of the evil Goose King, you’re nothing but a mere mortal!
How dare mere mortals provoke the Goose King? They must have the courage of a lion!
[Hello, This Is My Child: Hahaha, this goose is so evil, but I love it! Bullies the kids, then bullies the adults, hahaha!]
【PeppermintChocoIsNotToothpaste: Watching President Jiang being chased by the goose until her domineering CEO image completely shattered is absolutely hilarious. Dying of laughter!】
【SackWholesaler: Whether you’re a university professor, a domineering CEO, or even a globally adored superstar once targeted by the evil goose, all that’s left is a messy escape!】
【MySweetBaby: A childhood without being chased by a goose is an incomplete one! (I said what I said!)】
Watching the surge in viewership brought by the guests being chased by the goose, the producer grinned from ear to ear.
In the brief lull while the adults were locked in a battle of wits with the goose, in an unnoticed corner, four grubby little toddlers who had tumbled onto the grass stealthily sat up.
“Pfft!” Jiang Man couldn’t help but cover her mouth and giggle as she watched Fang Jin spit out a blade of grass from her mouth, looking utterly disheveled.
But it wasn’t just Fang Jin who was in a sorry state Jiang Man and the others weren’t faring much better either.
Their neat, clean outfits from the start of the day were now splattered with mud and stained with grass juice. The little sun hats they’d been wearing had vanished without a trace at some point.
All four toddlers’ hair was a tangled mess, like birds’ nests, making them look like little wildlings.
The four toddlers glanced at each other and couldn’t resist covering their mouths, snickering softly with “fufufu” laughs.
After their secret giggles subsided, while the mothers were still locked in their back-and-forth struggle with the goose, the four toddlers helped each other up from the grass. Stealthily, they skirted around the most intense part of the “battlefield” and cautiously slipped away to a safe spot.
Once the toddlers were safely hidden, the estate security team finally arrived, fashionably late, armed with nets meant to subdue the goose.
Unlike the awkward mothers, the uniformed female security guards swiftly and skillfully struck the evil goose on the head with a thump, dazing the once-ferocious bird. Then, a net descended from above, securely capturing the goose that had been so arrogant just moments before.
The entire operation left the toddlers utterly awestruck.
Without thinking, they emerged from their safe spot and gathered around the heroic security guards, clapping enthusiastically with wide, starry-eyed admiration.
