Rebirth: Using Love as an Excuse for Cruelty - Chapter 25
Yu Linfei is truly a pervert! This was the first thought that popped into Wen Cheng’s mind the moment Yu Linfei kissed him. He struggled frantically in Yu Linfei’s grip, trying to dodge the kiss, but after a moment, he realized something was wrong. Looking closely at Yu Linfei’s eyes, Wen Cheng was shocked to find that the man seemed to have no self-awareness; these actions were more like pure instinct.
His eyes were vacant, giving Wen Cheng the feeling that he had no idea what he was doing. In that split second of confusion, Wen Cheng also smelled a strange scent.
The fragrance, which carried a hint of lemon, made Wen Cheng’s head grow fuzzy. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain erupt in his body. The pain seemed to spread from his very bones, causing Wen Cheng to let out a piercing scream: “Ah!!”
The moment he cried out, Wen Cheng froze—why did he hear a human voice?
Still held in Yu Linfei’s arms, he slowly looked down and saw a pair of fair hands and two long, slender legs.
“I turned into a human?” The crisp, youthful voice was so unfamiliar. Wen Cheng struggled out of Yu Linfei’s embrace and stumbled toward the bathroom.
The moment he stepped into the bathroom, he was stunned. He saw a familiar face in the mirror—his own face, Wen Cheng’s face.
The face still had the slight innocence of a youth, but it was currently twisted in shock. The person in the mirror was completely naked, and while the body was identical to a human’s, he had a pair of fluffy ears and a tail that definitely didn’t belong to a human.
“I turned into a human?” Wen Cheng still couldn’t accept this fact so quickly. He stared blankly at himself in the mirror, then turned stiffly and saw Yu Linfei standing behind him.
“Linfei…” Not knowing how to react, Wen Cheng called Yu Linfei’s name blankly. He had actually become human; was he not a normal cat from the start, but a cat demon?
Yu Linfei did not respond. His expression remained vacant, as if he hadn’t regained consciousness at all. At that moment, the fragrance Wen Cheng had ignored grew even stronger.
“What’s wrong with you, Yu Linfei?” A bad feeling suddenly rose in his heart. He remembered what Hami had said to him a few days ago: “Blacky, I like you… you smell so good.” Smell good? Could the effect of this fragrance be…
Wen Cheng was right. The moment he reached that conclusion, Yu Linfei picked him up and walked expressionlessly toward the sofa in the living room.
“Wake up, Linfei!” Wen Cheng struggled constantly in Yu Linfei’s arms, only to find he was no match for him. He was held tightly and then tossed heavily onto the sofa.
“Yu Linfei, you bastard! Let go! Let me go!” Seeing that Yu Linfei was still unresponsive, Wen Cheng grew truly panicked. Was his end today going to be getting “done” by Yu Linfei in such a confusing way?
Wen Cheng’s struggling was better than nothing, but it only sparked Yu Linfei’s dissatisfaction. Frowning, Yu Linfei grabbed a blanket from the sofa and wrapped Wen Cheng’s struggling hands tightly inside it.
“Help!” Wen Cheng was almost in tears. He didn’t want to be forced by this bastard Yu Linfei, and he didn’t want to kiss this stupid human! (Awkward…)
“Yu Linfei, you can’t force me! Rape is a crime! You’ll be arrested!!” Wen Cheng cried out pitifully, trying to bring back Yu Linfei’s sanity. But then a question hit him: raping a person is a crime, but what about an animal? Domestic animal protection laws didn’t seem as complete as those abroad—it was his fate that even if he lost his chastity, he couldn’t sue Yu Linfei! Well, in this regard, Wen Cheng’s ability to jump between thoughts was second to none.
Yu Linfei didn’t give Wen Cheng time for more nonsense and directly kissed Wen Cheng’s screaming lips. The heavy fragrance seemed to have completely stripped Yu Linfei of his reason. His movements were simple and rough, and before long, he had bitten Wen Cheng’s lip until it bled.
Poor Wen Cheng could only make muffled “wuu wuu” sounds, his resistance easily suppressed by Yu Linfei.
Just as Yu Linfei released Wen Cheng’s lips and his hand began to move down from his chest, the two fluffy ears on top of Wen Cheng’s head caught his attention.
“Ouch!” The sensation of his sensitive ears being squeezed made Wen Cheng scream involuntarily. He squirmed like a worm under Yu Linfei, not realizing his behavior was basically fueling Yu Linfei’s fire.
Yu Linfei looked at the fluffy cat ears in his hand, his expression flickering for a moment as if he were fighting the heavy fragrance. Seeing this, Wen Cheng shouted happily, “Yu Linfei, wake up!! Yu Linfei!!”
Hearing the shouts, Yu Linfei frowned slightly and then leaned down—taking one of Wen Cheng’s fluffy ears into his mouth.
“Ah!” Startled by the sudden move, Wen Cheng’s cry took on a sobbing tone. He shivered and whispered, “Don’t bite, I don’t taste good! Yu Linfei, don’t bite me!”
If such sensitive ears were actually bitten, god knows how much it would hurt!
Fortunately, Yu Linfei wasn’t that cruel. After taking Wen Cheng’s ear into his mouth, he only gently ground his teeth against the soft cat ear, while his right hand moved to a position that was enough to make Wen Cheng go crazy.
“Don’t bite me anymore, wuu wuu, Yu Linfei, you bastard.” He began to sob. At this moment, Wen Cheng was like a kitten that had been bullied to the limit, able only to cry pitifully, without even the strength to scratch the culprit.
“Don’t cry.” The voice was hoarse. Yu Linfei, lost in the fragrance, was actually comforting the crying Wen Cheng. He wiped away Wen Cheng’s tears and finally let go of the soggy cat ear.
“I hate you,” Wen Cheng said, pushing his luck. “Yu Linfei, you’re a total pervert!”
Naturally, Yu Linfei did not argue back.
Hearing no rebuttal, Wen Cheng got even bolder: “Since you didn’t answer, you’re admitting you’re a pervert! Hmph, pervert—ah!”
Joy turned to sorrow; this time it wasn’t Wen Cheng’s ear that suffered, but the fluffy tail behind him…
Yu Linfei held Wen Cheng’s tail in his hand, his vacant eyes seemingly trying to identify what it was. He squeezed here and there, nearly making Wen Cheng cry again.
“You big idiot, pervert!!” Wen Cheng shrieked.
“…” Yu Linfei ignored him.
“I’m going to finish you!” Finally breaking his hands free from the blanket, he unhesitatingly grabbed the nearest hard object he could find. Then, Wen Cheng slammed the object against Yu Linfei’s head with a “thud.”
“…Yu Linfei?” Wen Cheng felt something was wrong.
“Yu Linfei?” He poked the man slumped on top of him, terrified. “Are you dead? You just died like that?”
A streak of blood flowed down Yu Linfei’s face. The sharp pain in his head finally brought a sliver of clarity back to his mind. He rubbed his eyes, trying to see what had happened. When a pitiful-looking boy with cat ears entered his vision, he was completely stunned: “You!”
Yu Linfei didn’t get a chance to say anything else because, in a moment of panic, Wen Cheng slammed the ashtray into Yu Linfei’s head once more…
“That looks like it hurts… Yu Linfei, you aren’t going to die, are you?” Holding his own tail pitifully with both hands, Wen Cheng carefully poked Yu Linfei. “Should I call 120 for you?”
The unconscious Yu Linfei: “…”
“Oh, you don’t want me to?” Wen Cheng pushed Yu Linfei off him. “Fine then…”
Yu Linfei didn’t say anything because he couldn’t.
“Ugh, why does it hurt again…” The familiar pain suddenly hit Wen Cheng’s body again. After a scream, Wen Cheng looked at Yu Linfei, who was now growing larger in front of him, and cried out of frustration.
Why did he change back? Was there a time limit for being human? This is such a scam!
And so, Wen Cheng could only stay by the unconscious Yu Linfei in his cat form, occasionally scratching at Yu Linfei’s clothes with his little paws. Of course, if you think he was trying to wake him up, you’re wrong; in fact, Wen Cheng just felt his claws were a bit itchy.
Yu Linfei, who had been unconscious for several hours, didn’t quite understand what had happened when he finally crawled up from the sofa. When he felt the pain in his head, his first reaction was that he’d been robbed. But looking around the room, it didn’t seem like anyone else had been there. So why did his head hurt so much, as if he’d been hit with something.
“Blacky, what happened to me?” He picked up the cat lying beside him. His voice was full of frustration and confusion. “I smelled a strange fragrance and then what?”
“Meow-woo.” Wen Cheng couldn’t be bothered to deal with him.
“…My head hurts…” Walking into the bathroom, Yu Linfei looked in the mirror at his blood-covered face and was horrified. “When did I get beaten up?”
“Meow-woo.” You didn’t get beaten up, you just fell. Wen Cheng murmured to himself, huddled in Yu Linfei’s arms.
“…So strange.” Yu Linfei felt it was incredibly eerie. “Blacky, it couldn’t be you who hit me, right?”
This time, Wen Cheng didn’t dare meow.
“…I must have been hit stupid to ask you that.” Shaking his head with a bitter smile, Yu Linfei said, “Good thing I installed cameras in the house.”
Um, right, good thing you installed—WHAT?? Wen Cheng’s eyes widened in horror. Yu Linfei had cameras in the house?? This is unscientific!!!
