Pretty Wife Insists I Live Off Her - Chapter 37
Chapter 37: Sister, Let’s Go Home.
Honestly, Yue Lei didn’t know what her relationship with Mo Yingxue was right now. They were friends who could hug, kiss, and sleep in the same bed privately, yet they weren’t officially dating.
In the previous life, Yue Lei would have chased and pestered Mo Yingxue to define their relationship, then figured out a way to conquer her body and mind. After all, she was thick-skinned and skilled.
Even when their relationship wasn’t harmonious, she could make Mo Yingxue wrap her legs around her waist tightly, eyes flushed.
But now, their roles were reversed; Mo Yingxue was the one in control. As long as Mo Yingxue didn’t ask for it, Yue Lei couldn’t—and didn’t dare—demand a formal title.
Just now, she had to apologize even for touching her too much… This situation left her feeling sexually and emotionally repressed.
Therefore, the only thing Yue Lei could do was kiss Mo Yingxue more fiercely whenever she relented, pouring out all the dammed-up emotions in her heart for her to see.
Yue Lei sat in the back seat with her arms crossed, head bowed, waiting for everything to settle down before she dared look at Mo Yingxue.
Seeing that she seemed to be rubbing her arm, Yue Lei panicked and immediately pulled her arm closer to examine it: “Did I hurt you? I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.”
“Yes, it hurts. It’s all red.” Mo Yingxue was growing more spoiled due to Yue Lei’s pampering. Even though the redness was almost gone, she deliberately pointed to the faint mark on her wrist: “It’s all your fault, Sister. Look, it’s red here.”
“I’m sorry, Baby, boo-boo fly, boo-boo fly.” Yue Lei knew she hadn’t been overly rough, and there were no visible marks. But since her wife said so, it must hurt. She silently cursed herself, gently holding Mo Yingxue’s wrist, kissing and rubbing it, terribly worried.
They were both women, and she barely did any manual labor. So why was her wife’s skin so smooth and so pleasant to touch?
Mo Yingxue glanced at the pedestrians walking outside the car door, her eyes flickering. This car was too flashy today; people kept looking in. With them so close, kissing and touching, surely they weren’t actually being seen…
A slight blush crept onto her face. She swallowed and withdrew her hand: “Sister, let’s go home.”
“Doesn’t it hurt anymore?” Yue Lei looked up at her.
Mo Yingxue leaned in and said softly next to her ear, “Rubbing it with something soft will make it better, but now isn’t a good time.”
Yue Lei stared at her wrist thoughtfully: “Are you saying… you want to pet a kitty?”
She withdrew her gaze from Mo Yingxue’s chest, abdomen, and thighs. Mo Yingxue bit the soft flesh inside her mouth, a slight irritation in her voice: “…A cat will do.”
The adaptability of the stray kittens was far greater than Yue Lei had imagined. After only a few days in the room, they were no longer satisfied with their designated small territory. They either guarded the door, meowing loudly and waiting for someone to open it, or used their weak little paws to scratch at the door, one scratch at a time.
Since Mo Yingxue was busy with exams, Yue Lei was always afraid the cats would disturb her rest and studying. Any slight noise would send her running to play with the cats for a bit and distract them.
Now that the professional exams were over, Mo Yingxue could finally indulge a little and spend time with the cats.
Yue Lei sat on the wool carpet, surrounded by a circle of fuzzy little furballs. The kittens were using her like a tree to climb, while the mother cat, Xia Yu (Rain), relaxed nearby, casually licking her fur.
Yue Lei held up her favorites—the little Holstein and the yellow-and-white cat—like prized treasures: “Before, I was worried Xia Yu wouldn’t accept Baoyu (Downpour) and Maomao Yu (Drizzle), but ever since the Maine Coon mother at the pet hospital fed them and they got fat, Xia Yu doesn’t seem to mind them at all.”
Mo Yingxue took the seemingly more docile yellow-and-white cat from her hands and sniffed its small head, as if smelling sunshine. She looked at the mother cat, who was now two sizes plumper, and said thoughtfully, “Maybe before, she was afraid she couldn’t raise so many, so she was forced to abandon these two. Now the environment is better, there’s plenty of food, and no survival pressure, so Xia Yu has accepted the two kittens again.”
“Even if she hadn’t accepted them, I was here. I would definitely take care of them,” Yue Lei chuckled, pulling out a cat teaser and starting to play with the cats.
It must be said that cats are natural hunters. The little ones, who could barely walk steadily, were incredibly focused and even dared to jump into the air to catch the teaser. Yue Lei noticed Mo Yingxue’s eyes were also following the feather, shaking back and forth, looking very excited.
She found it amusing and handed over the cat teaser: “Xiao Xue, you play with them.”
However, Mo Yingxue took the teaser, and her gaze shifted. She guided the feather at the tip of the stick toward Yue Lei’s chest, stroking it lightly, on and off, through her clothes.
This action was too suggestive; Yue Lei couldn’t help but overthink it. She reached out to grab the cat teaser, wanting to ask Mo Yingxue why she was teasing her, but the mischievous feather zipped away instantly and began legitimately playing with the kittens.
It was as if everything that had just happened was an illusion. Yue Lei was angry but dared not speak, staring at Mo Yingxue repeatedly and secretly spanking her butt in her mind!
