Poor Relationship - Chapter 15
The powerful aura emanating from Wen Jiang made Wen Shi pause slightly. He had never seen such a man in the country before. Earlier in the car, he hadn’t gotten a clear look, but now, at such close range, he could see the full picture.
A few strands of hair fell across his forehead, and beneath the glasses, his dark eyes seemed to carry a chill. The black trench coat blended into the night, revealing only the smooth lines of his figure.
He wasn’t exactly burly, yet he carried an undeniable sense of strength.
A glint of interest flashed in Wen Shi’s eyes as he chuckled softly,
“Is there… some misunderstanding between us?”
Wen Jiang merely snorted coldly, turned around with Xu Yizhou in his arms, and returned to his car. Watching the long legs beneath the trench coat, Wen Shi couldn’t help but lick his lips. After placing Xu Yizhou in the back seat, the light from the streetlamps outside the window swept across his moist, red lips, giving them a glossy sheen.
Leaning over him, Wen Jiang’s eyes darkened slightly, and his Adam’s apple bobbed. The strong scent of alcohol from Xu Yizhou’s breath washed over Wen Jiang’s face. Frowning, Wen Jiang pulled back and closed the car door. Throughout the journey, Xu Yizhou only felt his stomach churning with nausea.
He opened his eyes with some difficulty, only to catch a glimpse of a smooth jawline in the rearview mirror. He was already so dizzy he didn’t know where he was.
His head was spinning, and he felt an overwhelming urge to vomit.
“Teacher Wen… stop the car, I’m going to be sick…”
One hand already reaching for the edge of the car door, Xu Yizhou spoke with difficulty.
But a sudden brake sent him tumbling into the gap between the seats. The churning in his stomach could no longer be held back, and he vomited right in the middle. Wen Jiang
He drove home with an almost black expression.
When he opened the back door, he found Xu Yizhou sprawled across the back seat, fast asleep again. Fortunately, he had the sense to move away in his sleep. Otherwise, if he had been lying in the mess he’d made, Wen Jiang wouldn’t have known how to get him out.
After filling the bathtub with water, Wen Jiang tested the temperature before carefully placing Xu Yizhou, who had been stripped of his clothes with great effort, into the tub.
The bathroom light reflected off the water’s surface, casting a shimmering glow that made the skin beneath appear even paler.
Xu Yizhou’s head rested against the edge of the bathtub, his neck slightly tilted back, revealing the fair, slender curve of his throat. Seemingly restless in his sleep, Xu Yizhou furrowed his brows. Wen Jiang raised a hand, gently stroking Xu Yizhou’s flushed cheek, his thumb rubbing against those red lips over and over again.
“Zhouzhou, you’ve been disobedient again.”
Wen Jiang’s eyes reflected Xu Yizhou’s face as a faint, almost sickly smile appeared on his usually stern expression. As if hearing him, Xu Yizhou let out a soft whimper, parting his lips to take Wen Jiang’s finger into his mouth, slowly sucking on it.
The warmth of his mouth enveloped Wen Jiang’s finger, sending a soft, tingling sensation coursing through his limbs. His breathing grew heavier, mingling with the warm steam in the air. Wen Jiang’s gaze darkened as he leaned in and kissed those moist lips. Their lips moved against each other, gentle yet insistent. Xu Yizhou couldn’t make a sound, only soft whimpers escaping him. But this was undoubtedly a catalyst.
Remembering what had happened earlier, a flash of ruthlessness crossed Wen Jiang’s eyes. He opened his mouth and bit down on Xu Yizhou’s lip.
The bite was hard, so much so that the metallic taste of blood began to spread in his mouth.
The moment the pain jolted Xu Yizhou awake, all he saw was Wen Jiang’s enlarged face, blurred by the overlapping lights. That strange feeling surged through him once more, and his vision grew hazy. That warm, large hand once again touched that place, and with the lubrication of the water, two fingers slipped inside.
“Don’t…”
The sensation of being invaded by a foreign object was intense, yet his mind was overwhelmed by a wave of dizziness. His misty, hazy eyes gazed dazedly at Wen Jiang before him, his lips stained with blood, making them appear even more crimson. He couldn’t tell if it was a dream or reality.
The man from his dream seemed to gradually merge with Wen Jiang’s face, even his voice sounding like Wen Jiang’s. Before he could process it, a third finger was inserted below.
The pain made him cry out, and tears of physical discomfort welled up from the corners of his eyes. The warm water seeped in with the movement of the knuckles, scalding his body and causing it to tremble uncontrollably.
Wen Jiang’s eyes held a madness he couldn’t conceal. He gently covered Xu Yizhou’s watery eyes and once again silenced the sounds with his lips, the heavy scent of alcohol lingering.
It was somewhat intoxicating.
The bathroom echoed with heavy panting, soft whimpers, and the sound of splashing water.
The hangover was unpleasant. When Xu Yizhou woke up, it was already late afternoon.
Propping up his sore body, he sat up, feeling pain everywhere. His head hurt, his neck hurt, his body hurt, and even his mouth hurt. He could barely remember what had happened the night before. All he recalled was going out for drinks with Wen Shi.
As for what happened afterward, he had no memory of it. He glanced around the room, feeling the environment oddly familiar. It wasn’tt until he caught sight of the recording studio inside that he realized this was his own room.
But he had no idea how he had gotten back. He got out of bed, his hair a mess, nearly stumbling as he stood. Out of habit, he headed to the bathroom, already able to smell the alcohol on himself. While brushing his teeth, a sharp pain shot through his lips.
Xu Yizhou looked up at the mirror. Beneath the white foam, there was clearly a cut on his lips, and it hadn’t even scabbed over yet. It hurt like hell.
So that was why his lips were sore. Had he bitten himself last night?
After washing up, he pulled open the curtains. The sun was already setting toward the western hills, its light turning a warm orange. His first thought was how beautiful the scenery was. His second thought sent him rushing to the bedside to grab his phone, where he saw a glaringly large time display.
17:00
“What the hell?”
Five in the afternoon—this couldn’t be a joke, could it?
Had he really slept that long? Not only did he see the time, but he also noticed the pile of missed calls and messages.
“Oh no, oh no.”
Xu Yizhou could have kicked himself. What had possessed him last night? Was it a moral collapse or a loss of humanity? Why had he drunk so much? He really deserved to die!
As a voice actor, he was supposed to protect his throat, so he rarely drank. But last night, he had truly lost control. And wasn’t he supposed to record character audio today?
Looking at the string of WeChat calls and missed phone calls, Xu Yizhou thumped his head in frustration.
He also saw a message from Wen Shi:
[Teacher Xu, next time, if you can’t handle alcohol, don’t push yourself. I won’t laugh at you.]
Damn it, he was still mocking him for his poor alcohol tolerance. But last night was his first time getting drunk. Had he made a fool of himself in front of Wen Shi? Xu Yizhou didn’t even want to think about it. As an elder, if he did anything improper in front of Wen Shi, wouldn’t it be utterly embarrassing?
