Seo-yeon kissed the sleeping Tae-yul on the forehead so as not to wake him and quietly left the room. Mrs. Kim followed her out to see her off.

 

“I’ll be right back. Jaehoon said it would only be while Tae-yul is napping, so it shouldn’t take long.”

 

“Take your time. These days, he’s so engrossed in playing with his ball that he’s fine as long as he has someone to play with.”

“You have a son? I’ll raise him if you want. Break up with that woman and marry me.”

 

Jaehoon wasn’t even angry. It didn’t even sound like some crazy woman spouting nonsense. He glared at Mina and said quietly.

 

“Get out. This time that you’re wasting is more precious to me than everything a woman like you has. So, get out of my sight!”

 

Even if she was a woman, Jaehoon had no intention of being lenient. Mina’s expression changed at Jaehoon’s harsh tone.

 

“Do you think this marriage will last?”

 

“Who are you to talk about my marriage?”

 

“Jaehoon.”

Jaehoon thought that Seo-yeon was the only woman who could call him by his name. He couldn’t stand anyone else saying his name. He glared at Mina and said menacingly.

 

“I know there’s a double agent in the J&D Group. J&D Group is a place that raises leeches who sneak around companies and steal information. Get out of here right now before I expose it.”

 

Mina didn’t even blink at Jaehoon’s threat involving the company. At this moment, her desire to have Jaehoon was more dominant than the J&D Group.

Mina slowly revealed her true colors. She spat out a rough curse and glared at Seo-yeon with fierce eyes.

 

“How dare someone like you look down on me? You have nothing, but your mouths are alive. How long do you think that man will indulge in your little games? He’s lived in a different world from people like you since he was born. If you care about him, just let him go.”

 

Mina raised her eyes fiercely and pointed her finger at Seo-yeon.

 

“Or else I’ll kill you. I want that man so badly. Oh, and since your son is also Jaehoon’s son, I’ll raise him well.”

 

Seo-yeon, who had been staring intently at the sneering Mina, picked up the water glass next to her. Before Mina could move, she dumped the water glass over her head.

 

Mina, who had been doused with water from head to toe, could only open her mouth in a mess.

Seo-yeon threw the crystal water glass down hard in front of the surprised Mina. The sound of the glass breaking and the shards scattering in all directions.

 

“What’s going on…?”

 

Jaehoon, startled by the noise, rushed inside.
