Perfect Possession - Episode 37
Jaehoon’s voice faded away, disappearing from Seo-yeon’s lips. He gently sucked on her sensual lips, pushing the tip of his tongue between them. Parting her slightly open lips, he gave her a deep kiss.
Their breaths mingled as they explored each other’s mouths. When Jaehoon sucked, Seo-yeon also sucked on the tip of his tongue, claiming it as her own.
“Mmm.”
As the kiss deepened, a wet moan escaped from between Seo-yeon’s lips. She felt her peaks hardening against his chest, lightly touching. Feeling like she couldn’t take it anymore, she gently pushed Jaehoon away.
“Weren’t we supposed to drink wine?”
“I didn’t say I wouldn’t kiss you.”
Jaehoon lightly embraced her and kissed her forehead, then surprisingly let her go easily.
“My mother said she wanted to meet Tae-yul?”
Perhaps Jaehoon had arranged this meeting to ask this question. Seo-yeon gave him a bright smile to reassure him.
“I said no. I said that’s not allowed.”
“Good. Still, I didn’t expect her to make us wait in the annex.”
Jaehoon chuckled briefly.
“We don’t have a choice. If we brought her here and there was a loud noise, Tae-yul would be startled.”
“I thought you wouldn’t be intimidated by my mother.”
“I was a little nervous. But why did you think that?”
Jaehoon emptied his wine glass and raised his eyebrows.
“You were the only secretary besides Hyun-shik who was unfazed in front of my mother. I thought to myself, ‘What’s with this woman?'”
“What do you mean, ‘this woman’?”
Seo-yeon playfully hit him and glared at him with loving eyes.
“Then are you a man?”
“You’re so childish.”
“They say everyone becomes childish after they get married.”
“Who says? Oh, the General Manager or rather, Young Master?”
“Well, yeah. There’s no one around me who would become childish after getting married.”
Aside from Jae-moon, he had no one to confide in, so he might have been a lonely person in a way. But looking at the world he lived in, it was understandable.
For those entangled in relationships of interest, childish marriages or love would be unnecessary relationships.
“I want to return the billion won I received from Madam. I want to do it myself.”
Jaehoon didn’t say anything about Seo-yeon calling Mi-ryung “Madam.” He didn’t particularly want her to change her title. He wanted her to do as she pleased.
“Should I arrange a meeting?”
“No. She’s definitely not someone who will back down like this. I couldn’t return it today because Tae-yul was playing and I was just thinking about sending him back quickly, but I’ll return it when I see her next time.”
“Do as you please. But why are you sitting so far away?”
“Um, just because.”
Seo-yeon was being careful because she thought that if she stayed too close to him, she would be late returning to Tae-yul.
“Don’t do that. Pay attention to me too. Do you want me to be jealous of my son?”
Seo-yeon couldn’t ignore his dark eyes staring intently at her, so she whispered as she looked at his approaching lips.
“What should I say in this situation? What do wives say?”
“I don’t know. What do you want to say?”
“I grow up a little.”
Seo-yeon chuckled softly and gently closed her long eyelashes as she looked at Jaehoon, who was holding her lips. Feeling her body heating up from the touch of his hand reaching into her chest, she hugged Jaehoon.
Unable to share love leisurely, the two overlapped their bodies, drinking in each other’s breath to quench their deep thirst.
“Team Leader, I told you to go to the Seosan factory yourself. I know you sent Manager Kim again this time. I really can’t let it go this time. Go down to Seosan today and see it yourself and submit a report. I’m hanging up now.”
Sung-joon ended the call and pressed his fingers against both temples. He was debating whether to report to Jaehoon about Team Leader Son, who sent a deputy and took care of personal matters whenever he was told to just visit the factory. He also wanted to give him another chance because he was a university senior.
“Please don’t make me fire my senior.”
Sung-joon finished his last words as he saw Jia entering as soon as the door burst open.
“You, you saw him, didn’t you?”
“Team Leader Han, what do you mean ‘you’ in the company?”
Sung-joon didn’t want to meet Jia if he could help it. He had a half-sibling who was three years older than him besides Jia.
However, he was immersed in research and lived a life unrelated to business. As a result, they, the minor branch of the Do-young Group, thought that Jia was the only one who could lead their family.
Sung-joon existed, but his father kept his mouth shut, and his stepmother didn’t even consider him family.
But Sung-joon didn’t care. He was very satisfied with his life now, away from them. Except for when Jia crossed the line and bothered him from time to time.
“Is that important right now? You saw him, didn’t you? Do you have any pictures? If you do, send them to me. But is he really Jaehoon’s son?”
“Hey, Team Leader Han!”
Sung-joon shouted and approached Jia.
Jia, who had never seen Sung-joon shout, flinched for a moment. Then, as if her pride was hurt, she raised her head and glared at him.
“Are you shouting at me right now? How dare you.”
“Where is Team Leader Han’s brother in this company?”
Sung-joon had no intention of putting up with the tiresome Jia any longer. He was ashamed that they shared half the same blood.
“Watch your mouth. Do you know how precarious Team Leader Han’s position is right now because of what happened at the Madam and Vice Chairman’s residence? If you want to keep that position, you’d better distance yourself from Madam. Get out!”
“Wh-what?”
Jia glared at Sung-joon as much as she could and couldn’t continue speaking. She believed that Mi-ryung had more power than Jaehoon and followed her.
That thought hadn’t changed even now. But the fact that the sparks that flew to Mi-ryung might also come back to her made her feel uneasy.
She glared at Sung-joon, then snorted and left the room.
Sung-joon looked at the door she had left through and loosened his tie knot with a frustrated face.
“I’m so tired. Anyone can see that she’s about to get fired, but she doesn’t know it.”
Sung-joon, who was past the age of being hurt by his family, was just tired of Jia’s words and actions.
“By the way, what if she does something weird like that? Then it’s really over.”
He thought for a moment, then clicked his tongue and cut off his thoughts. He had no intention of giving her advice or helping her. But he thought he needed to watch Jia a little more.
As if representing Jia’s angry heart, the sound of her high heels echoed sharply in the hallway every time she walked. Jia closed her door with a bang and came in, screaming silently in frustration.
“Argh! I’m going to fire that bastard from the company first. Where did Dad get that kind of guy to make people angry?”
She huffed and looked at the ringing cell phone in her hand with annoyance. Then, she gasped in surprise and took a breath. Jia was very nervous at the name ‘Vice President Seo Mina’ on the screen.
“He, hello.”
-How have you been?
“Yes, what’s going on? Are you doing well too, Vice President?”
-Is it ‘Vice President’? You called me Mina unnie last time.
“Th-that’s right. It’s because it’s the company, so I said that without realizing it.”
Jia swallowed hard and wiped the sweat on her forehead with the back of her hand. Like a thief with a guilty conscience, she wondered if she had found out that Jaehoon had a son and called her, and she broke out in a cold sweat.
-Let’s meet. I’m near the company right now.
Seo-yeon was finally starting to organize Tae-yul’s belongings that the chauffeur had brought. She hadn’t had time to organize them because she hadn’t taken her eyes off Tae-yul for a moment. There were still boxes full of things she hadn’t opened because she had only taken out the things she needed at the time.
Seo-yeon opened a box with the logo ‘BabyBaby’ and asked Mrs. Kim.
“Oh, right, the stroller was supposed to arrive today, right?”
Now that all the staff had returned, Mrs. Kim was solely taking care of Tae-yul.
“It’s already in the parking lot. We are preparing three brands of products for outdoor use and for use in the garden, so please take a look and choose the one you like.”
“From three brands? There’s no need for that.”
Seo-yeon smiled brightly as she looked at the clothes in the box.
“I should put Tae-yul in the stroller when he wakes up and choose the one he likes. But is it okay to prepare winter clothes already? He’ll be bigger. They’re so cute.”
Seo-yeon showed Mrs. Kim a padded jacket with a blue background and sky-blue lines.
“Doesn’t it look like doll clothes?”
“It looks a little big for Young Master to wear now. He’ll probably wear it beautifully in the winter.”
Mrs. Kim’s eyes were happy to see baby clothes after a long time.
The two hurried to organize the items before Tae-yul woke up. It was originally a room with a dressing room attached since Seo-yeon used it, so she was able to neatly organize Tae-yul’s clothes and belongings by type.
Seo-yeon chuckled briefly as she looked at the well-organized items. There was something she had learned while spending time with Tae-yul. He was still young, so he couldn’t organize anything himself.
But Tae-yul liked things to be neat. If something got on his hands or his clothes got dirty, he frowned and tried to take off his clothes.
Not only that, but Tae-yul preferred to be in a well-organized room, and even when he played with toys, he only played in one place. Looking at those things, it was clear that he resembled Jaehoon.
Jaehoon had to organize his suits by color and match the tie fabric to one type and display them without the slightest disarray. His dressing room was as large as the main room of an average house.
There was a separate space for suits and casual clothes, as well as a space for accessories worn with suits and watches or accessories used for casual wear.
Seo-yeon frowned slightly as she imagined Tae-yul, who had entered elementary school, organizing his room like Jaehoon.
“I don’t think I’d like that. Is that something you’re born with. No, I can fix it. Well, our Tae-yul is still a baby.”
Seo-yeon muttered to herself and smiled as she got up to go to Tae-yul. Then, she was startled and widened her eyes. Tae-yul, who had just woken up, was standing in front of the door, dragging the blanket he had been sleeping with in his hand.
