Perfect Possession - Episode 22
Seo-yeon slowly exhaled the breath she had been holding, staring intently at Jaehoon. In his earnest gaze, she realized that everything he had just said was sincere. The blood flowing through her body momentarily stopped.
The moment she tried to open her mouth, all her blood rushed backward, gathering at her heart. She felt breathless, as if her chest would explode.
‘I can have this man.’
Jaehoon, whom she thought she could never possess, was saying that he would become hers. Frankly, she couldn’t imagine what life with him would be like.
What was certain was that Jaehoon always kept his word. There was nothing to think about. Seo-yeon looked straight at Jaehoon and said,
“Okay. I’ll give you everything. Protect our son.”
“And you?”
“I won’t be a burden to you.”
If the Do-young family moved, even Jaehoon would have a hard time facing the storm head-on. She had no intention of becoming an incompetent wife who would hold him back and ride on his shoulders.
“Yes. If it’s you, you’re definitely not the kind of woman who would be a burden to me.”
Jaehoon cowardly used Tae-yul to hold onto Seo-yeon. He made her say that she would do anything if it meant he could stay by their son’s side.
Jaehoon knew he wasn’t being a gentleman, but he couldn’t go back to a life without Seo-yeon. But he hated even more to just watch her from afar. So, he had to make her completely his.
Her slender waist, which barely seemed possible after giving birth, slowly began to shake the reason he was barely holding onto. The warm heat he felt in his chest and lower abdomen revived the sensation of her soft skin.
Jaehoon had to send Seo-yeon back to the room where Tae-yul was sleeping. It was the right thing to do, considering Tae-yul would be anxious if he woke up without her on his first day there.
Yet, his instincts and reason were fiercely fighting, his instincts wanting to tear off her clothes right away, feel her hot flesh, and satisfy his starved desires.
Without realizing it, his gaze turned to her sensual and sexy lips. Even when he first saw Seo-yeon, he had felt a dizzying sensation from those lips, forgetting that she was an employee.
Jaehoon felt his breathing become rough and brought his lips closer. Seo-yeon’s body instantly heated up at the hot breath she felt on her lips.
She felt a sharp desire and her lower body trembled at the heavy sensation beyond her lower abdomen. Even in the moment when she thought she had lost Tae-yul and was about to give up on life, Seo-yeon had clung to the thread of life, remembering the kisses and love she had shared with Jaehoon.
Go back to him. And tell him that his son is gone and take his anger.
Only then would she be able to cleanly shake off this desire and go to her son’s side without any regrets. That’s how much sex with Jaehoon had become the most intense shackle of life for Seo-yeon.
“Haa.”
Before she could do anything, a wet breath escaped from Seo-yeon. She had to summon all her reason just to say that one sentence, that she had to go back to Tae-yul.
Seo-yeon had wanted to find her son even if it meant sacrificing her own life. But now, she was trembling at the thought of putting her son to sleep and kissing Jaehoon.
Seo-yeon closed her eyes, exhaled, and opened her mouth.
“…I should go check on Tae-yul.”
“It’ll only be a moment. I’m not crazy enough to hold you and roll around on the first day my son is home. No matter how starved I am for you.”
“Jaehoon…”
The next words disappeared into Jaehoon’s mouth. She felt like she understood at least a little what he meant by being starved. Jaehoon bit and sucked on her lower lip strongly, then immediately pushed the tip of his tongue deep into her throat, showering her with passionate kisses.
There was no time to breathe, not even that fleeting moment to inhale the breath trapped inside. The breath that pushed in as if to bend her back was, in a word, like a raging desire.
Jaehoon was devouring Seo-yeon’s lips as if rushing straight to climax.
“Haa….”
She took a quick breath, but it wasn’t even a sigh. The breath she couldn’t exhale was caught by him again. Jaehoon put strength into the hand supporting her head and pulled her in so that their lips were crushed together.
His long leg, pushed between her thighs, stimulated her relentlessly, but Seo-yeon couldn’t even moan.
Every time she tried to say to let go, pleasure mercilessly overwhelmed Seo-yeon. There was no time to be ashamed of her aroused body. That’s how dizzyingly electrifying Jaehoon’s kiss was.
The wet sounds stopped. Only then did Seo-yeon realize that Jaehoon had let her go. Seo-yeon barely concealed her disheveled breathing and moved away from Jaehoon.
“It’ll probably be a bit noisy in the morning. The swing you wanted arrives in Seoul after midnight. I want to show it to Tae-yul when he wakes up.”
It seemed they were going to install the swing in the morning. Seo-yeon only nodded, looking at Jaehoon, whose voice was calm despite his rough breathing.
“Go get some sleep.”
“You too. Get some rest, even if it’s just a little.”
Seo-yeon barely managed to say those words and, putting strength into her trembling legs, left the living room.
As soon as Seo-yeon entered the room, she avoided Mrs. Kim’s gaze and sent her out. As soon as Mrs. Kim disappeared, Seo-yeon leaned against the door and collapsed. The sound of her pounding heart was like thunder.
Even two years ago, when she felt love and affection for him, Seo-yeon had never even dreamed of marrying Jaehoon. She thought that marriage to an ordinary person was impossible for Jaehoon, who was born into the Do-young family.
Jaehoon never talked about the Do-young family at all. But as his secretary, she had accompanied him to many events and had seen Chairman Han and Mi-ryung up close.
Seo-yeon knew well enough how cold and ruthless they were to people outside the lines they had drawn.
It wasn’t just those two. The Do-young family didn’t even associate with families they thought were lacking in the standards they had set.
But they didn’t openly ignore them either. They simply didn’t even look at them, as if they weren’t there. She didn’t have to think deeply to know how useless emotions like love were in such a family.
To them, wealth and power were superior to the emotion of love. Marriage was also just a cooperative relationship to increase that power and wealth, and had nothing to do with love. That wasn’t just the Do-young family.
For Jaehoon, who grew up in such a family, to be the first to mention marriage, Seo-yeon couldn’t believe it even though she had clearly heard it with her own ears.
Seo-yeon gently brought her hand close to her lips. But she couldn’t even touch her own lips. The sensation of Jaehoon’s touch remained so vividly that she couldn’t.
‘I want your body and soul to be mine.’
Jaehoon’s words still lingered in her ears. For some reason, Seo-yeon got up from her seat and approached Tae-yul, who was asleep in bed.
This was also like a dream. No, it was a miracle. But Seo-yeon was directly experiencing this miracle and seeing it with her own eyes.
If so, she might be able to create another miracle, a miracle that could draw out the emotion of love from Jaehoon, who held her with a sense of responsibility and possessiveness.
“I’ll let you know that what you’re feeling is love.”
Seo-yeon whispered as if Jaehoon were next to her. She carefully approached the bed and lowered her face to her sleeping son. A strand of hair had fallen over his forehead. She wanted to brush it away because it looked like it would poke his eye, but she hesitated, afraid of waking Tae-yul.
Then, she thought that a normal mother wouldn’t just look at him as if he were a glass doll. She took a deep breath and used her fingertips to gently brush the child’s hair back.
He resembled Jaehoon’s sharply defined forehead. But his long eyelashes and nose resembled Seo-yeon’s. Surprisingly, Tae-yul resembled Jaehoon and Seo-yeon equally. It was so amazing that even though she was looking at him, she wanted to see him again.
Seo-yeon carefully lay down next to her child, being careful not to wake him. The scent of baby powder soothed her heart. Only then did the tears she had been holding back pour out.
They weren’t just tears of joy and happiness at the miracle that had come to her. They were mixed with sadness, resentment, anger at Sung-hee, and guilt for the pain Tae-yul had suffered. But above all, the greatest feeling was relief.
“Tae-yul, I missed you so much.”
Seo-yeon carefully placed her hand on her son’s chest. She felt his warm body temperature. It was the perfect warmth of living, flowing blood. She looked at the sleeping Tae-yul and slowly closed her eyes.
How long had she been asleep? Seo-yeon opened her eyes wide at the sound of people’s voices. Her gaze went to Tae-yul first. Tae-yul, who had been lying straight and sleeping, must have tossed and turned, and was now sleeping with her hand as a pillow.
A smile spread across Seo-yeon’s face. As Mrs. Kim had said, 16 months was enough time to sleep through the night, and Tae-yul hadn’t woken up once. She wanted to stay like that a little longer, but she was bothered by the sounds coming from outside.
Seo-yeon held her breath and pulled out her hand from under his face, being careful not to wake Tae-yul. She brought a pillow, laid him back down, and covered him with a blanket. Tae-yul looked peaceful in her eyes.
“Thank goodness, Tae-yul.”
Seo-yeon murmured softly and got out of bed. Only then did her hand feel like it was being pricked by thorns, but even that made her happy.
She rubbed her hand and went to the window to check the time. It was past 5 a.m. Seo-yeon realized that the voices she heard outside were the voices of the people who had come to install the swing.
She parted the curtains and saw Jaehoon beyond the lights. Next to him, Butler Park was talking to the people installing the swing.
He lowered his voice as much as possible, thinking of Tae-yul, but the quiet morning air amplified their voices like a megaphone.
“Mr. Jaehoon must be tired.”
Just then, she heard a rustling sound behind her. Seo-yeon was startled and turned around. Tae-yul, who had woken up, was looking at Seo-yeon with shining black eyes.
