“Thank you, good buddy. I’ll treat you to dinner later,” Xu Wanxing said.

Pei Yu nodded. “Sure.”

Xu Wanxing returned to his spot, took a picture of the cool watch on his wrist, and sent it to Lu Yanbai.

“Xu Wanxing: Hubby, look. Isn’t it cool? My roommate gave it to me.”

The reply came back instantly.

“Lu Yanbai: Why did he give you a gift? His intentions are sinister! Baby, let’s not keep it. Give it back, and I’ll buy you a new one, okay?”

After Pei Yu carefully packaged all the gifts one by one, tied them with bows, and put them away, the two walked to a restaurant not far from the university.

Xu Wanxing looked at the restaurant’s decor and gave Pei Yu a thumbs-up in admiration. “Rich people just bring me to eat Japanese food. This place must be very expensive.”

Pei Yu looked calm, saying casually, “Around a thousand per person. It’s alright.”

So, the meal for the two of them must cost 2,000 yuan.

This wasn’t in front of Lu Yanbai, where he could be willful due to their relationship.

A familiar voice came from behind.

Xu Wanxing pushed open the private room door. Pei Yu subtly sized up the person next to him.

Lin Yao heard this and looked up in surprise. “Young Master Pei?”

A glimmer flashed in Lin Yao’s eyes, and a smile appeared on his lips. “Since we all know each other, that’s even better. I just ran into Xu Wanxing outside. I’ll treat both of you to dinner.”

Pei Yu offered a polite smile. He wasn’t very familiar with Lin Yao. Lin Yao was famously known in their circle as a debauched, playboy young master, known for his romantic affairs. It was rumored that he had at least dozens, if not hundreds, of Omegas around him.
