Outrageous! The Useless Fake Young Master Is Being Forcefully Pampered by a Cold Beauty. - Chapter 5
“You—do you know whose car you’re blocking, kid?”
Yun Su dug into his ear. “I don’t know, and I don’t need to know.”
He didn’t know what was wrong with people in this world; they were always flaunting the people backing them. First Chen Hong during the day, and now this. He must have had the worst luck in eight lifetimes.
“You… you’re simply ungrateful. Don’t blame me for being impolite then.” As he spoke, Uncle Zhang walked menacingly toward Yun Su.
Uncle Zhang whose full name was Zhang Xiong had served as a soldier in his youth and seen several battles before retiring due to injury. He stayed by Elder An’s side and usually drove for An Ran. Although he had been injured, his martial skills were far beyond those of an ordinary person.
Yun Su rolled his eyes. “You, you what? Being ‘impolite’? I’m just standing here. I’m not moving. Let’s see what you can do about it.”
He was just standing there waiting to catch a ride; what had he done to offend anyone? Why was this guy looking at him like he was garbage the moment he appeared?
These words completely infuriated Zhang Xiong. Since he had arrived at the An family, everyone he met treated him with respect. This brat actually dared to talk to him like that.
“Brat, you’re courting death!”
As the words fell, his fist was already inches from Yun Su’s face. But just as Zhang Xiong felt smug, thinking he was about to take Yun Su down, the boy vanished in the blink of an eye.
This, how is this possible? Zhang Xiong turned to look around, his eyes filled with disbelief.
“Are you looking for me?”
A clear, bright voice, unique to a youth, came from behind him. The hand placed on Zhang Xiong’s shoulder felt as if it weighed a thousand pounds, pressing him down so hard he nearly knelt on the ground. Sensing the cold, murderous aura radiating from Yun Su, cold sweat broke out on his forehead instantly. Just as Zhang Xiong thought he was about to die at Yun Su’s hands, the car door behind them opened.
A young woman stepped out wearing a high-fashion moon-white dress. She had a slender figure, slightly curled hair draped over her shoulders, and a cold, oval face with beautifully defined brows and lips like vermilion. She was an absolute beauty.
“Please, Master, show mercy. I apologize to you on Uncle Zhang’s behalf. I am sorry.”
Yun Su withdrew his hand and cast a cold glance at An Ran. Seeing her sincere attitude, he let the matter go. “In consideration of your apology, I will spare him. However, remember to use a better tone next time. Some people are not ones you can afford to provoke.”
An Ran stood up straight. From inside the car, she had seen the scene. The youth hadn’t actually vanished; he had simply moved too fast for Zhang Xiong to track, creating the illusion of disappearing. Even though she understood that, she still hadn’t caught his movements clearly.
“Thank you. My name is An Ran. May I ask how to address you, Master?”
“I am no ‘Master.’ You can just call me Yun Su.”
“Very well, Young Master Yun.” An Ran did not listen to Yun Su’s request to drop the title.
Yun Su could accept this form of address. He was surprised by An Ran’s good sense, and then he caught sight of a necklace around her neck. If he recalled correctly, Lu Qinyin had one just like it, it was some famous brand, globally limited to only three pieces.
Instantly, Yun Su’s eyes sparkled. He was currently saddled with a massive debt, and wasn’t this wealth delivered right to his doorstep?
“What a pity…” Yun Su shook his head, feigning that he was about to turn and leave.
Yun Su’s gaze had been fixed on An Ran’s necklace. She detected malice in his stare and instinctively looked at her own necklace. What did he mean by ‘what a pity’? Is there something wrong with this necklace?
An Ran gripped the pendant at her throat. “Young Master Yun, please wait. May I ask what you meant by ‘what a pity’?”
A flash of slyness crossed Yun Su’s eyes. The fish has taken the bait. He pushed up his glasses with two fingers, a faint smile curling his lips, which he tucked away the moment he turned around.
“You are one in ten thousand…”
Wait. Looking at her, she seemed to be a practitioner, but not an immortal cultivator. He didn’t feel spiritual energy in her body; rather, he felt a faint sense of ‘Qi.’ She must be a martial artist. That made sense; with the spiritual energy in this world being so thin, it was much easier for people here to enter the Dao through martial arts, as they lacked proper cultivation techniques.
However, the technique An Ran practiced clearly had issues; otherwise, given her aptitude, she wouldn’t be stuck at this level. He didn’t know if the cultivation systems and realms in this world were the same as his own, so it would be better not to speak too rashly.
“Your aptitude is one in ten thousand, but it is a pity that the technique you practice is flawed. It has caused your realm to stagnate, unable to progress. If you force yourself to practice, your meridians will feel as if they are being pricked by needles. Am I correct?”
An Ran’s eyes first flashed with surprise it wasn’t about the necklace after all followed by shock. She blurted out, “How does Young Master Yun know?”
She regretted the words the moment they left her lips. The technique she practiced had been passed down through generations of the An family. However, anyone in their family who practiced it never lived past the age of sixty. Her grandfather once said it was because the technique was incomplete. This resulted in the stabbing pain in her meridians every time she practiced.
Her grandfather turned fifty-nine this year, with only one year left. The An family had been running around searching for spiritual medicine, trying every possible method to save him, but to no avail. She had gone out tonight because she heard an auction at the Lin family house was featuring a two-thousand-year-old ginseng root, and she wanted to buy it for her grandfather.
“Naturally, I can see it.” Yun Su smiled faintly, speaking as if it were nothing. “You are quite young, yet you are a martial artist; you must be practicing a family technique, right? Not only can I solve the problems in your body, but I can also fix the flaws in your family’s cultivation technique.”
As he spoke, Yun Su reached out to examine her condition. However, just as he raised his hand, Zhang Xiong immediately stood in front of An Ran, assuming Yun Su was about to attack her. This brat was finally showing his true colors it was complete nonsense that he could identify flaws in a technique. He was clearly just an assassin sent by another family.
“Miss, be careful.”
An Ran pulled at Zhang Xiong and shook her head at him. Although she didn’t believe Yun Su had such capability, she was unwilling to give up even a shred of hope. She stepped forward. “What do you want?”
An Ran didn’t care if Yun Su was sent by another family; as long as he could heal her grandfather, it was enough. However, she also understood there was no such thing as a free lunch. Since he proposed it, he naturally wanted to gain something from her.
“Direct. I like that.” Yun Su pushed his glasses with two fingers, a faint smile appearing on his lips, though he could see that An Ran still didn’t trust him and remained on guard.
Yun Su didn’t waste any time. “Whether I have the capability, you will know once you try.”
After saying this, Yun Su raised his hand and tapped several points on An Ran’s body from a distance. Spiritual energy immediately flowed along her meridians and circled through her body.
She hadn’t been practicing for long; she only needed the spiritual energy to nourish her meridians, supplemented by medicinal baths to refine them, to repair the damage and allow her to continue practicing her technique. However, this was only treating the symptoms, not the root cause. The flaws in the technique were the fundamental issue. If those weren’t resolved, her meridians would eventually have problems again.
As the trickling spiritual energy entered her body, An Ran clearly felt the pain caused by years of practice vanish. It felt incredibly comfortable a level of comfort she had never experienced before.
Yun Su withdrew his hand. “There. I have already cleared the meridians in your body. But to recover completely, you will need a supplementary medicinal bath. Get some paper and a pen; I will write a prescription for you. Once you have gathered the herbs on the list, I will come back and heal you completely.”
“How is this possible? You only tapped in the air a few times, and you dare to say the Miss’s injuries have been cleared? This is a giant joke!”
Zhang Xiong frowned and shielded An Ran behind him, whispering, “Miss, he is likely sent by another family. Be careful, it’s a trap…”
As he spoke, Zhang Xiong anxiously took out his phone and sent a message. Within a few minutes, a dozen cars drove out from Jinxiu Villa, completely surrounding Yun Su. The people who stepped out were all holding guns aimed at Yun Su, ready to turn him into a sieve at the slightest command.
Yun Su looked at the weapons in their hands with some surprise. If I am not mistaken, these are guns, right?
It seemed that in this world, weapons like guns were only held by official organizations. He didn’t expect the An family to possess such things. Being able to bring out so many firearms at once this An Ran was certainly not a simple person. According to the original body’s memories, this weapon was extremely fast; a single small bullet could kill someone if it hit a vital spot.
Yun Su pushed up his glasses, his eyes full of excitement.
