- Outrageous! The Useless Fake Young Master Is Being Forcefully Pampered by a Cold Beauty.
- Chapter 3 - Giving a Statement
“Name?”
“Yun Su.”
The interviewing officer frowned instantly upon hearing the reply. He glanced at the information they had gathered and said sternly, “This is the police station. Please take this seriously. What is your name?”
Yun Su leaned back, looking around the interrogation room with genuine curiosity in his eyes.
“Yun Su.”
Chen Ping glared at him, and just as he was about to lose his temper, Officer Zhang pressed a hand on his arm. “Xiao Chen, don’t get excited.”
“Master, this kid is lying through his teeth.”
Officer Zhang patted Chen Ping’s arm and turned to Yun Su, holding his ID card up before him. “There is no need to lie. We already know exactly who you are.”
Yun Su looked at the ID card with a puzzled expression, suddenly appearing as if he had just realized something. “I have already been kicked out of the Lu family. I won’t be surnamed Lu for much longer, so is there a problem with me saying my name is Yun Su?”
Officer Zhang: …Did I even ask you about that?
The junior officer taking notes looked from Yun Su to Officer Zhang and Chen Ping, then asked, “Officer Zhang, Officer Chen, how should I record this?”
“Record it exactly as he said,” Chen Ping replied coldly.
Upon receiving confirmation, the junior officer immediately began typing rapidly on the computer.
“Where do you live? And why were you fighting?” Officer Zhang asked, his demeanor casual as he flipped through the documents in his hand.
Yun Su thought for a moment and said, “I live in the East District of Canglan City…”
“As for why I was fighting, Chen Hong brought over a dozen men to attack me. I am the victim, and I was merely acting in self-defense!” After saying this, Yun Su nodded to himself.
Victim, self-defense, that should be the correct way to use those words, right?
Officer Zhang set aside the documents, picked up a cup of tea, took a sip, and asked, “Would you like some tea?”
Yun Su was stunned. Weren’t they supposed to be questioning him about the brawl? Why the sudden shift to tea? Though he couldn’t quite grasp the logic, he shook his head. “No, thank you.”
“Don’t be so formal. Serving the people is the duty of us police officers,” Officer Zhang smiled and continued, “As far as I know, you are still a university student, right? Why were you at the Ferry Bar? That is hardly a reputable place.”
“Since you have investigated me, you should know that my father is hospitalized and needs medical expenses. I went there for the sole purpose of earning money.” Yun Su looked at Officer Zhang and pushed up the glasses on the bridge of his nose with two fingers.
Officer Zhang nodded. “Alright. Next question: how do you know Chen Hong, and why did the conflict occur?”
…
Eight hours later, after signing his documents and providing his fingerprints, Yun Su was released with a verbal warning to obey the law.
Standing at the entrance of the police station, Yun Su breathed in the fresh air, feeling as if he had finally come back to life. “Sure enough, no matter which world it is, the authorities the police station are not a place for humans to stay.”
A black business sedan pulled up to the station entrance. A man in a suit, possessing an extraordinary aura, stepped out of the vehicle. Yun Su gave him a cursory glance before looking away without clearly seeing the man’s face, though judging by his posture, he didn’t seem very old.
Checking his phone, Yun Su was completely stunned. “Darn it, how did eight hours pass just like that? It’s almost 7:00 AM. If Lu Yun’s memories are correct, I have a class at 7:30!”
Yun Su scrambled to check his class schedule on his phone, muttering to himself, “It’s over, it’s over. That’s Professor Liu’s class—that ‘man-woman’ professor is not to be trifled with.”
When he saw the name ‘Professor Liu’ on his schedule, Yun Su took off running as if he were being chased by wolves.
The man who had just stepped out of the car watched the retreating figure of Yun Su and frowned. His assistant, seeing the CEO stop, followed his gaze and suddenly wore an expression of realization.
“That is Lu Yun. However, the Lu family announced a few days ago that they had expelled him. Thinking about it, this Lu Yun is a pitiful person; those people in the Lu family are truly rotten to the core.” Remembering the information he had seen on the Lu family during their background investigation, the assistant couldn’t help but feel a growing disgust toward them.
The man retracted his gaze, walked into the police station, and his assistant followed closely behind.
After their lawyer spoke with the police, he led the three of them inside. Lin Jiusi was sitting on a stool with a dejected expression. Upon seeing the man, his eyes nearly brimmed with tears.
“Brother, Brother, I knew you would come to get me out! Sob… as expected, only you are the best to me.”
“When the Old Lin and Liang heard I was in the police station, they hung up before I could even finish my sentence! Am I even their precious son anymore?”
Jiang Biechen frowned, pushed the cringing Lin Jiusi away as he tried to wipe his tears on his sleeve, and uttered two words with his thin lips: “Pathetic!”
The assistant to the side found it amusing. “Young Master Lin, you should probably wipe those tears away.”
Jiang Biechen wiped his sleeve with a handkerchief, turned around to leave, but stopped halfway. “Are you not going to follow? Or do you plan on making the police station your home?”
“Ah, coming, coming!” Lin Jiusi hurriedly wiped his face, tossed the handkerchief to the assistant, and trotted after him.
Leaving the lawyer to handle the remaining formalities, Jiang Biechen took Lin Jiusi and left the station. The assistant drove while Jiang Biechen reviewed work on his tablet. “Tell me, what happened?”
Lin Jiusi pouted. “Just thinking about it makes me angry. Yesterday, I had plans to go out with some friends. Who knew that while walking through the East District late at night, someone would suddenly rush out into the middle of the road? I panicked and accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake.”
Jiang Biechen looked up, his gaze deep and intense. “So, you hit the person and fled the scene?”
Lin Jiusi lowered his head and whispered, “That person was bleeding a lot, and I was so scared that I just…”
Lin Jiusi couldn’t continue. Although he was a wealthy second-generation heir, he had always followed the law, and it was normal for him to be frightened when encountering such an incident for the first time.
“I heard from the police that the person is okay and only suffered minor injuries. Is that true?” Lin Jiusi looked at Jiang Biechen with burning, guilty eyes.
Jiang Biechen pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “He’s alive; they saved him. He has a mild concussion, but his legs were already injured. Because he tried to dodge the impact, his legs were injured again. It is estimated that he won’t be able to stand for the rest of his life.”
“Go home, take a shower, and go to the hospital to apologize.” Jiang Biechen reached out and pinched Lin Jiusi’s ear hard.
Lin Jiusi pulled at his brother’s hand, his handsome face crumpled in pain. “Brother, Brother, it hurts! Ow, ow, ow… it hurts! I’ll go, I will go!”
Hearing his promise, Jiang Biechen finally let go and leaned back in the car to rest his eyes. Lin Jiusi rubbed his reddened ear and waved a fist at his brother’s face.
“Sss—Brother, am I still your dear younger brother? You’re getting heavier-handed every time.”
“No,” Jiang Biechen replied without even opening his eyes.
The assistant driving in the front couldn’t help but laugh, drawing a glare from Lin Jiusi.
“Ahem… Young Master Lin, the Young Master didn’t sleep all night because of your incident. He still cares for you the most.”
“Really?” Lin Jiusi looked back at Jiang Biechen, and indeed, he saw two faint dark circles under his eyes. He immediately beamed. “Zhong Fan, you really know how to talk, unlike some people who have a cold face all day long. Be careful, or you’ll never find a wife in the future.”
Seeing that he was becoming increasingly inappropriate, Jiang Biechen opened his eyes and gave him a cold glance, which successfully silenced Lin Jiusi, much to the amusement of Zhong Fan, whose laughter only grew louder.
…
Halfway to his destination, Yun Su finally realized something was wrong. He stopped and slapped himself on the forehead.
“Wait! I am the Demon Emperor Yun Su. Why am I afraid of a professor?”
After a moment’s thought, Yun Su understood what was happening: it was the original body’s memories and the residual emotions lingering in this physical vessel affecting him.
Realizing this, Yun Su turned around and headed toward his home. He had to improve his cultivation as quickly as possible. The power behind Wang Biao, who had been mentioned at the Ferry Bar, and Chen Hong, were forces he could not afford to provoke in his current state.
Besides, he wasn’t alone anymore; he had a “cheap” father and a “cheap” sister behind him. If those people couldn’t get what they wanted from him, they would likely target the original owner’s family. Since he now occupied Lu Yun’s body, he naturally took on the karma that came with it. As far as he was concerned, Yun Zechuan and Yun Ran were now his family.
As for school? Cultivation was far more important!
