- Outrageous! The Useless Fake Young Master Is Being Forcefully Pampered by a Cold Beauty
- Chapter 18 - Do You Know How Noisy You Are?
Yun Su strode into the lake, bent down, and picked up the Energy-Storing Stone, not caring whether his clothes got wet. Looking at the stone in his hand, Yun Su was delighted; his lips couldn’t help but curl upward. “Not bad luck at all it’s a water-attributed Energy-Storing Stone.”
“Energy-Storing Stone? What on earth is that?” Lin Jiusi leaned in to take a look at the ugly, lumpy rock, rubbing his head in total confusion.
Yun Su hadn’t expected this guy to still be lingering nearby, and he realized he had accidentally spoken his thoughts aloud. He tucked the stone away, raised his eyes to glance at Lin Jiusi, and said with disdain, “Has anyone ever told you that you’re very noisy?”
Lin Jiusi: “…”
“You said I’m noisy?” Lin Jiusi snapped out of it, pointing a finger at himself, asking in disbelief.
Yun Su’s disdain for Lin Jiusi only deepened. He looked toward Jiang Biechen, who was standing to the side with a faint smile on his lips, and asked, “Was what I said difficult to understand?”
Jiang Biechen’s eyes held a subtle hint of amusement. “Not difficult to understand at all.”
“See? Even your brother says it’s not hard to understand.” Yun Su spread his hands and looked at Lin Jiusi, his expression clearly implying, You’re not smart enough to get it, so who can you blame?
Lin Jiusi was about to explode with anger, gritting his teeth as he said, “Lu Yun, do you want to fight?”
What stung Lin Jiusi the most was that his brother wasn’t helping him. Instead, he was in cahoots with Yun Su, watching him make a fool of himself it was truly despicable.
Yun Su scanned Lin Jiusi from head to toe, looking at him with a mix of disdain and the pity one might give to someone mentally challenged. He tilted his head slightly and smiled. “You can’t beat me.”
“And another thing: my name is Yun Su, not Lu Yun. If you call me Lu Yun again, I will make sure you never speak another word.”
It was only then that Lin Jiusi remembered their clash at the hospital and recalled that he truly couldn’t defeat the youth, causing his spirits to dampen instantly.
“Fine, fine! Yun Su is Yun Su. You still haven’t answered me what is an Energy-Storing Stone?”
Although Lin Jiusi looked down on that pitch-black, ugly rock, he had seen his share of rare treasures, and he could intuitively feel that anything Yun Su deemed worth picking up must be something good. Perhaps it was because he was standing close to Yun Su, but the moment the youth picked up that stone, Lin Jiusi felt his body lighten significantly, as if every pore on his skin had opened up; it was incredibly comfortable.
Yun Su gave him a sidelong glance, bent down to wring the water from his pant legs, and replied, “What is our relationship, exactly? Why should I tell you?”
With that, Yun Su ignored the annoying Lin Jiusi. He walked up to Jiang Biechen and smiled. “I have matters to attend to; I shall see you next time if fate allows.”
“Of course. If anyone experiences unnatural phenomena, or has a condition that defies medical treatment, you can come to me. Exorcizing demons, catching ghosts, fortune-telling, or even traditional medicine I know a little bit of everything.” As he spoke, Yun Su waved his phone in front of Jiang Biechen before turning away to leave in a carefree manner.
Once he was gone, Lin Jiusi scratched his head, looking at Jiang Biechen with a strange expression. “Brother, this Yun Su is just too weird.”
Jiang Biechen watched the retreating figure and asked, “I remember Uncle saying that his leg pain becomes unbearable whenever the weather turns cloudy and rainy. Perhaps you could ask him to take a look.”
Lin Jiusi: “…”
“No, Brother, you aren’t joking, are you? Yun Su is a man of many secrets. Before we even figure out his stance, you want me to ask him to treat my father’s leg? Have you got a fever, or have I gone crazy?”
Lin Jiusi couldn’t believe his ears. His brother, who was always cold and heartless toward outsiders, was actually acting as a solicitor for someone else! This was an international joke!
Jiang Biechen, however, ignored Lin Jiusi’s shock, turning his gaze toward the Jinxiu Villa, specifically in the direction of the An family’s villa. “If I’m not mistaken, An Ran’s meridian problems have already been solved.”
Lin Jiusi was completely bewildered. Isn’t this topic jump a bit too abrupt?
“Oh, really? Then the An family must be happy out of their minds.” Lin Jiusi said dismissively. What does this have to do with getting Yun Su to treat Old Lin’s leg? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!
Seeing that Lin Jiusi still hadn’t caught on, Jiang Biechen felt both exhausted and frustrated at his brother’s lack of insight. “You fool. Forget what news we received when we arrived?”
“Wasn’t it that we learned from the Lu family that the An family had invited a master to treat An Ran’s injuries?” Lin Jiusi said nonchalantly.
“Everyone among the four major clans knows about the injury of Elder An’s granddaughter. It happened because the technique Elder An obtained was incomplete. It’s not something that can be healed easily; it would require a Martial Arts Grandmaster a master at the Tianxuan Realm or perhaps the Tianshu Realm.” Lin Jiusi clearly didn’t believe it. Although both the Tianxuan and Tianshu realms were called “Grandmaster” levels, there was a vast difference between the two; the former was just entering the realm, while the latter was the pinnacle. Such big figures rarely took action lightly, let alone for a small family like the An family in Canglan City. How could they possibly afford to hire such a master?
Jiang Biechen exhaled softly and reminded him, “Don’t forget who we followed here.”
“Lu Fengxia, who else? Any useful news about the An family can only be obtained through that woman, Lu Fengxia.”
Jiang Biechen was speechless for a moment. After a long silence, he said, “I hope you’re happy being an idiot.”
“Then, have you seen Lu Fengxia come out so far?”
Lin Jiusi thought for a moment and shook his head. “No.”
“Use your pig brain and think: the An family can’t stand Lu Fengxia, so how would she even know that someone was treating An Ran’s meridians?” Jiang Biechen felt his brother was simply beyond saving.
Lin Jiusi froze for a second, then his eyes widened in disbelief. He stammered, “Brother… Brother, are you saying… this information was intentionally leaked to Lu Fengxia by the An family?”
“At least you aren’t completely beyond saving,” Jiang Biechen said, withdrawing his gaze from his “idiot” of a brother.
After meeting Yun Su yesterday, Jiang Biechen had his subordinates investigate the youth. Unexpectedly, when they investigated the Lu family, they stumbled upon this entire affair. However, his people had only managed to find out that it was a teenager who was treating An Ran’s meridians, with no confirmation of who it actually was. He had been curious about this mysterious individual who could have the capability to heal meridians damaged by cultivation?
He had expected to wait an hour outside, but instead of Lu Fengxia emerging, he saw Yun Su walk out. In an instant, Jiang Biechen had guessed that Yun Su was the mysterious youth treating An Ran. He had originally intended to go up and say hello, but the youth had found a spot, sat down cross-legged, and began practicing internal cultivation. Jiang Biechen had decided not to disturb him, and by the time the youth opened his eyes again, over six hours had passed.
“This… how is this possible? He’s only a teenager how could he be a Martial Arts Grandmaster?” Lin Jiusi’s voice spiked an octave higher, clearly finding it impossible to believe.
