- Outrageous! The Useless Fake Young Master Is Being Forcefully Pampered by a Cold Beauty.
- Chapter 11 - Pei Yuan Pill
“Ahem—”
Yun Su cleared his throat in embarrassment, breaking the strange atmosphere in the room. “Hurry up, get inside and sit down.”
An Ran also realized that her previous remark had been inappropriate. Her pretty face flushed slightly, and she said nothing as she entered the bathtub and sat cross-legged.
“It might be a little painful later, so you must endure it.”
Without waiting for An Ran to reply, a wisp of pure white flame emerged from Yun Su’s fingertips. Despite being white and seemingly icy, it radiated a scorching temperature. Everyone sensed that the moment the white flame appeared, the temperature in the entire room plummeted, then immediately soared; in just a few seconds, sweat began to bead on their foreheads.
An Boyuan reached up to wipe the sweat from the tip of his nose, his eyes widening to the point of popping out of their sockets. This… what is this? Is it a flame? Shouldn’t flames be fiery red? How can it be white?
Elder An was equally shocked, his hand resting on his cane trembling slightly. “What kind of fire is this? Why is it pure white?”
Yun Su controlled the Nanming Li Fire as it entered the tub, instantly turning the entire contents white, yet An Ran, sitting inside, didn’t feel a hint of scorching pain.
An Ran was surprised. “These white flames aren’t hot!”
“This is the Nanming Li Fire, the purest and cleanest fire in the world. You don’t feel the heat because I am controlling it; otherwise, once the Nanming Li Fire touches you, it will never be extinguished until you are dead and your soul is scattered.”
Yun Su formed hand seals, a flash of golden light crossing his eyes. The herbs in the tub vanished at a speed visible to the naked eye, finally turning into medicinal liquid that merged with the water. Once the liquid blended in, the hot water began to bubble and churn, and the medicinal power immediately surged into An Ran’s body through her skin.
At first, there was only a slight stinging sensation, but soon, An Ran’s face turned pale as paper. Beads of sweat as large as beans rolled down her forehead. Her fingers, gripping the edge of the tub, turned white from the force, and the veins on the back of her hands bulged she was clearly enduring immense agony.
“Nanming Li Fire?” Elder An muttered to himself.
A bodyguard nearby immediately pulled out a tablet to check. After a moment, he displayed the information found online to Elder An. There were only a few sparse lines recording that the Nanming Li Fire appeared pure white, representing the pinnacle of combustion, but nothing else could be found.
Yun Su did not realize that at this moment, he had become even more mysterious and powerful in Elder An’s eyes.
“Ranran, she… will she be alright?” An Boyuan asked, worried, watching his daughter’s lips lose all traces of color from the pain.
“Rest assured, she will be fine.” Yun Su looked at An Ran. The moment he finished speaking, An Ran let out a pained cry.
“Ah… it hurts so much…”
Yun Su’s expression changed. He immediately ordered the two bodyguards, “Both of you, go and hold your Miss down. Do not let her struggle out of the tub.”
The two bodyguards glanced at An Boyuan and Elder An. Seeing Elder An nod, they stepped up to the tub and pinned An Ran’s shoulders, one on each side.
“Ahhh… it hurts too much…”
Yun Su’s expression remained unchanged. “Even if it kills you, you must endure it! Since you have chosen to step onto the path of martial arts, can you not even withstand this bit of pain? If that is the case, I advise you to give up now.”
“No… I can endure it. I will not give up.” An Ran’s lovely face was twisted from the pain, but after Yun Su’s words, she didn’t let out another sound for quite some time.
Who knows how much time had passed long enough for An Ran to feel as if she were about to faint from the agony before Yun Su finally retracted the Nanming Li Fire.
Yun Su wiped the sweat from his forehead. “It is done. Come out and try circulating your cultivation technique.”
“Thank you, Young Master Yun.” An Ran started to stand, but her body had no strength left from the pain, and she slumped back into the tub.
An Boyuan panicked and rushed forward to support his daughter. “Ranran…”
“Do not worry, she is only weak right now; there is no serious issue.” Yun Su finished speaking, poured himself a cup of tea, took two gulps, and turned to watch An Ran climb out of the tub.
Her moon-white dress was nearly transparent and clung to her wet body, perfectly outlining her graceful figure. The undulating curves were enough to make anyone’s blood boil. The two bodyguards were so stunned they nearly had nosebleeds, their cheeks flushing crimson as they turned their heads away, not daring to look again.
“Let her go back to take a shower and change her clothes first,” Yun Su reminded them casually, his expression unchanged.
An Boyuan finally reacted, quickly taking off his coat to drape over his daughter, and ordered someone to take the Miss to wash up.
Once An Ran was gone, Yun Su turned to the remaining dozen herbs. Although these were only ordinary herbs without spiritual energy, they were sufficient to refine some low-grade Pei Yuan Pills.
“All of you, leave. I need to refine some pills; do not let anyone disturb me.”
Elder An looked at Yun Su and immediately ordered his men to tidy up the room before leading everyone else out.
As the door closed, Yun Su sat cross-legged on the floor, laid out the herbs, and began to circulate his cultivation method. The Nanming Li Fire instantly formed the shape of a cauldron. With a flick of his hand, the herbs entered the fire, rapidly melting into liquid that floated within the pure white furnace. Following this, Yun Su added the remaining herbs one after another. While controlling the flame, he used his spiritual energy to guide the liquids to merge with one another.
A stick of incense later, a faint medicinal fragrance wafted from the cauldron of Nanming Li Fire. The pills were formed.
Yun Su exhaled a long breath, a smile on his face. As he extinguished the Nanming Li Fire, ten earth-brown, round, and plump pills dropped into his palm.
“Ten Pei Yuan Pills, though the quality isn’t particularly good.”
After a few seconds of hesitation, Yun Su decided to fuse the pills to improve their quality. He released the Nanming Li Fire once more, put the ten pills into the cauldron, and quickly formed hand seals. A pill formation appeared beneath the cauldron, radiating a red glow.
As the light faded, Yun Su reached out, and the pills returned to his palm. There were only four Pei Yuan Pills this time, but they were a yellowish-brown color, and their medicinal potency was three times stronger than before.
Yun Su nodded with satisfaction. “This is barely acceptable.”
The Pei Yuan Pill could not only heal damage to the primordial spirit but also stimulate a cultivator’s potential, allowing them to achieve twice the result with half the effort during their training and break through cultivation bottlenecks more quickly. It was equally effective for martial artists. Furthermore, the Pei Yuan Pill was beneficial even to ordinary people; long-term consumption could not only strengthen the body but also prolong life.
Yun Su tucked away three of the pills and opened the door to walk out.
An Ran had already changed into clean clothes and was sitting in the living room, waiting for Yun Su. Seeing him emerge, An Ran immediately stood up, walked over to him, and said with eyes full of gratitude, “Thank you, Young Master Yun. My meridians are completely healed, and I tried practicing; there is no more stinging sensation from my old technique.”
Yun Su smiled and handed the Pei Yuan Pill to An Ran. “This is a Pei Yuan Pill; it can help consolidate your foundation and allow you to break through your realm quickly.”
“You must have been practicing for over ten years, yet you have always been stuck at this stage. With this pill and the foundation you have built over the last decade, it will allow you to easily reach the next realm.”
An Ran took the Pei Yuan Pill, her beautiful eyes widening in disbelief. “This…”
The next realm? She was currently at the Yinyuan Realm. Could she really reach the Dongming Realm with just such a small pill? Looking at the bright, translucent, and round pill in her palm, she still found it hard to believe. She acknowledged that Young Master Yun was very capable, but wasn’t helping someone reach the next realm an exaggeration? Even the top-tier alchemists in all of Daxia wouldn’t dare boast so easily.
Yun Su saw right through what An Ran was thinking and glanced at Elder An and An Boyuan, who were equally surprised yet skeptical.
“Believe it or not, you will know once you eat it.”
Yun Su pushed up his glasses with two fingers; he was not surprised by their reaction. If An Ran had taken it without a shred of doubt, he would have found that strange.
An Ran’s expression shifted several times before she finally gritted her teeth and swallowed the pill. Since Young Master Yun said so, it meant the pill was harmless to her. Even if she couldn’t break through to the next realm, it was no loss to her, was it? If so, she would give it a try!
Yun Su raised an eyebrow, gaining a bit more appreciation for An Ran. Though she was a woman, she possessed a decisiveness and determination that did not lose to any man.
“Quick, sit down and circulate your technique to refine the medicinal power.”
Just as Yun Su finished speaking, the front door was suddenly pushed open with a bang.
