Older Brother - Chapter 19
32.
As it turns out, Alphas are exceptionally narrow-minded and intensely jealous in these matters.
Even if they aren’t in a committed relationship, an Alpha cannot bear to see an Omega they’ve slept with and marked—throw themselves into the arms of another.
Hit by a tidal wave of pheromones, Bai You’s legs gave out. He collapsed into Fu Yu’s arms as an aggressive kiss descended upon him, prying his lips apart and swirling through his mouth with reckless abandon. The friction dampened the corners of his mouth, forcing out an even richer, intoxicating scent of cold orchids.
Bai You had never faced such absolute pheromonal suppression before.
Or rather a total union.
Fu Yu’s hands were long, bony, and brimming with power. He stroked the jarring black tracker around Bai You’s ankle for a moment before moving upward, tracing the pale, slender curve of the ankle and leg. He lifted Bai You into a crushing embrace, kissing him wildly.
It wasn’t until he was carried and pressed into the wardrobe, sinking into a heap of clothes, that Bai You regained a shred of sanity. He summoned enough strength to shove against the tall figure kneeling before him, his voice trembling as he cursed, “Are you a pervert?!”
Does he love revisiting old haunts that much?
Bai You was sweating profusely; his damp bangs clung to his forehead, obscuring his eyes. Fu Yu reached out to brush the dark hair aside, his gaze simmering with a feverish, suppressed possessiveness. Hearing the insult, he let out a surprisingly amused laugh. “I thought you knew that already.”
The sheer shamelessness of the remark left Bai You stunned. His thoughts were already shredded by the heat; his misty eyes were unfocused, and his swollen, red lips parted slightly, unable to find a retort.
Fu Yu found the expression adorable. He couldn’t help but lean down and peck those lips again, chuckling, “Alright, alright, darling. It’s time for business.”
He raised his hand, showing Bai You what he held. His lowered voice carried a hint of suggestive, teasing laughter: “You’re far too enthusiastic.”
Bai You’s lips trembled. The overwhelming sense of shame finally helped him locate the words to curse the man properly.
But before the words could escape, he found himself unable to speak at all.
All that remained were scorching breaths, broken moans, and heavy, rhythmic gasps.
The wardrobe was filled with clothes Fu Yu had specifically chosen for Bai You.
Aside from those, there were a few of Fu Yu’s own garments, mostly formal attire or military uniforms.
To inspire the youth of various star systems to join the Federation Military, the uniforms were designed to be exceptionally handsome grand sharp and adorned with shimmering gemstone insignia symbolizing the Federation’s supreme authority.
Now, however, they were a mess, wrinkled and discarded.
An Omega in the depths of a true heat is like water.
Sweat, tears, saliva, and other, more humiliating fluids… everything was a chaotic, burning blur. Only the Alpha’s pheromones could offer him salvation.
Finally finding a sliver of clarity amidst the breakdown, Bai You’s trembling voice went hoarse: “Don’t”
The Alpha, gripping his thighs, paused. His eyes were dark and heavy. “Why not?”
If an Omega in heat is marked with a knot by an Alpha, the probability of pregnancy is 100%.
During an AO union, the instincts for possession and reproduction embedded deep within an Alpha’s genes often override their reason. Even if the Omega resists, the Alpha will instinctively claim and mark them completely.
It was a question that didn’t really need to be asked—they had both attended AO physiology classes and knew the “why.” Yet Fu Yu raised an eyebrow, leaning down to ask deliberately, “Scared of getting pregnant?”
Without waiting for an answer, he blew a puff of hot air into Bai You’s ear and whispered maliciously, “I’m going to do it anyway.”
They had a 100% compatibility rate; it was a choice made by their genes. For Fu Yu to refrain from a total mark was practically an affront to Alpha nature.
The words had barely left his mouth when his face stung sharply. It took a moment for Fu Yu to realize he had been slapped by his Omega.
Slapped by the Omega currently on his bed, in the middle of a union.
Before his temper could flare, a familiar, sweat-slicked hand trembled as it rested weakly on his wrist a silent, desperate plea.
It was just like that night when he had begged Fu Yu not to turn on the light.
If he had turned on the light that night and seen Bai You’s face, perhaps he wouldn’t have become so obsessed. This ill-fated entanglement had begun with a single moment of soft-heartedness.
The Alpha’s face darkened. Utterly dissatisfied, he grabbed Bai You’s jaw and kissed those soft lips with renewed ferocity. He said nothing, but his movements became even more domineering, as if he were trying to compensate himself for something.
Thanks to those few unnecessary sharp words, the heat was anything but peaceful. Because he was unable to form a knot inside Bai You, Fu Yu made up for it by being twice as relentless.
An Omega’s heat usually lasts three to five days. However, Bai You remained in Fu Yu’s room for a full seven days. Even after the heat had technically ended, the Alpha showed no intention of letting him go.
The only thought in Bai You’s hazy, empty brain was: Is the Military dead? Do they not have to go to work?
His body felt like a puddle of water; the slightest touch made him shudder. The man looming over him mocked his weakness, then used his own mouth to pass him the nutrient solution the domestic robot had delivered earlier.
Whenever he finally managed to fall asleep, he would be woken up again. Looking down into his eyes while prying his legs apart, the Alpha would smile without a trace of remorse: “I’ll do my thing; you keep sleeping.”
Sleep? Like hell.
Bai You’s ears were ringing. For the millionth time, he regretted the moment of weakness that had stopped him from killing Fu Yu.
When he was finally let go, it was the early hours of the morning.
Outside, a light rain was falling damp and cold. Inside, separated by a pane of glass, the room was dry and warm. The sated Alpha appeared quite tender now, leaning against the headboard and gently running his fingers through Bai You’s medium-length hair, eventually stroking down his thin spine. His tone was cheerful. “Darling, is there anything you want?”
Bai You didn’t even have the strength to move a finger. He lay draped over the Alpha, his sweat-soaked cheeks flushed with a delicate pink. His crimson lips were pressed tight, his breathing so shallow it was almost non-existent. His long, dark lashes remained closed, completely ignoring the question.
He was too exhausted to repeat his usual line: “Don’t use the same tricks on me you use on your lovers.”
Fu Yu didn’t get angry. He mused aloud, “Last time the Military went on a patrol, they surveyed an unclaimed gemstone planet. How about I buy it and give it to you?”
Bai You’s eyelids finally fluttered. He lifted his chin to meet Fu Yu’s gaze.
Fu Yu kissed his forehead with lingering tenderness. “Hmm?”
After a long pause, Bai You spoke. “I do have one thing I want.”
“What is it?”
The corners of the Omega’s eyes were still rimmed with the red of spent passion, and his voice was raspy, but his tone was exceptionally calm—devoid of any emotion. “The key to this ankle monitor.”
Fu Yu’s kiss stilled on his brow. The smile on his face slowly faded into a cold, heavy silence.
