Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 67
It was only then that Gao Wei realized that the young man was her older brother.
However, the name of this brother sounded a bit familiar.
She seemed to have heard it somewhere before.
Moreover, Gao Wei vaguely sensed that her brother did not like her.
No, or rather, he was hostile towards her.
His eyes always carried a hint of contempt. The occasional emotion revealed was filled with a cold mockery.
“Mom, you dragged me to this desolate place just to pick up this little bastard?” Shen Shihao walked up to Gao Wei, looking down at her from above, his face full of disgust and disdain.
Fu Jing quickly rebuked, “What nonsense are you talking about?! She is your sister!”
“Sister?” Shen Shihao sneered, “My father is paralyzed in bed. Mom, where did this sister of mine come from? If she’s my sister, why did you abandon her back then?”
Shen Shihao’s tone was extremely harsh.
His words stabbed at Fu Jing like a blade.
Fu Jing’s face turned pale, and her whole body trembled, her fingertips felt cold.
But she had to admit that what Shen Shihao said was right.
After Shen Wenhao became paralyzed, he was like a dead person. During those years, no matter how hard she tried and exerted herself to please him, she couldn’t arouse even a shred of interest from Shen Wenhao.
Shen Wenhao couldn’t even be bothered to look at her, let alone speak.
That period was the most oppressive time for Fu Jing’s family.
She had even entertained a malicious thought, bought a bottle of poison, and intended to take Shen Wenhao’s life along with hers.
But in the end, Fu Jing gave up the idea. It wasn’t worth sacrificing her life for a man whose heart was not with her.
After destroying the poison, she decided to go on a trip that same day. It was then that she met Gao Wei’s father, a wandering singer who was young, romantic, talented, handsome, and charming.
They quickly fell in love.
It was in his singing that Fu Jing’s wounded heart was gradually comforted, and she finally regained the feeling of being alive.
After a brief two month relationship, the man left. He left her with a child but no contact information.
Fu Jing fell into pain again. She resented the man while also hoping he would reappear. Over time, she missed the window for an abortion.
When she finally wanted to go for an induced labor surgery, the doctor informed her that her physical condition could not withstand the risks of the procedure, which led to Gao Wei’s existence.
She was forced to abandon her daughter, but she did not reject Gao Wei’s existence. On the contrary, she cherished her deeply.
But now, the daughter she cherished was being so humiliated by her son. What’s more, her parentage was so easily revealed in front of outsiders.
Fu Jing’s heart could no longer be described by mere anger.
Her face darkened, and she gritted her teeth, “Shut up! Say another word of nonsense, and I’ll tear your mouth apart!”
Shen Shihao snorted, “Mom, since this is your private matter, I won’t meddle. You can handle it as you see fit.” With that, he stopped talking, turned around, and stared coldly at Gao Wei.
Gao Wei kept her eyebrows lowered, her lips pressed into a tight line. So, she really was an illegitimate daughter.
“Ah Wei…” Fu Jing’s worried gaze fell on Gao Wei, and she reached out to hold Gao Wei’s hand, “I’m sorry, it’s Mom’s fault.”
Gao Wei shook her head slightly and forced a faint smile towards Fu Jing.
“It’s okay, I understand you.” Her tone was calm, and her manner composed, as if she had long been used to it.
Since childhood, she had been accustomed to all sorts of gazes and pointing fingers. Most of these people were just idle and would never sympathize with or pity her.
She had long been used to it, and had become numb.
Gao Wei’s sensible and kind nature once again stirred a pang of bitterness in Fu Jing’s heart.
She held Gao Wei’s hand and said softly, “Ah Wei, let’s go home, with Mom.”
But Gao Wei neither agreed nor refused. Instead, she looked at her half-brother, who had been watching her all along.
Gao Wei raised a bright and brilliant smile, “What does Brother think?”
This question seemed to hit Shen Shihao’s weak spot and instantly enraged him.
Shen Shihao lunged forward, grabbed Gao Wei’s collar, and glared at her fiercely, “Who allowed you to call me brother?! Do you have the right?!”
Gao Wei lifted her head, her gaze meeting Shen Shihao’s directly, neither servile nor overbearing, “My bloodline flows with Mom’s blood too. I am Mom’s flesh and blood. Of course, I have the right to call you brother.”
Gao Wei’s words were sharp and poised.
Shen Shihao was stunned and left speechless.
Shen Shihao let go of her hand.
His face was ashen, clearly extremely annoyed.
“You wretched girl!”
“Shihao!”
Fu Jing stopped him.
Shen Shihao shouted back impatiently, “What are you shouting for! If you want to take her back to the Shen family, I have no opinion. But have you thought about how to explain it to Dad, how to explain it to Uncle?”
But Fu Jing actually smiled, not even looking at Shen Shihao, just holding Gao Wei’s hand and saying softly, “I don’t need to explain anything to them. I’ve paid enough for the Shen family for so many years, including for you. Now, I only owe my daughter Ah Wei an explanation.”
Her tone and eyes revealed unwavering determination. After speaking, she put her arm around Gao Wei’s shoulder, “Let’s go home with Mom.”
Su Sui’s plan gradually showed results over time. She used her shell company as bait, forcing Shen Wenshan to lose a considerable amount of money.
Once Shen Wenshan incurred losses, he dared not act rashly and could only wait for the situation to unfold.
During this period, Su Sui sought out partners while secretly acquiring shares of the Shen Group.
Although this set of maneuvers was tedious and complex, its efficiency was astonishing.
In a short time, the Shen Group shares concentrated in her hands amounted to a full 30%. As long as the stock price reached its peak and was then quickly sold off, the Shen Group would be completely ruined.
To celebrate this, the two specially drank red wine at home.
In the living room of the villa, they sat on the sofa.
“Do you think Shen Wenshan’s nose is about to turn crooked with anger?” Shen Jiayan swirled the deep red liquid, speaking enthusiastically.
“Probably,” Su Sui lightly touched the rim of her wine glass, taking a slow sip, a sharp glint flashing in her eyes.
She curled her lips into a smile, “I’m actually looking forward to the expression on Shen Wenshan’s face when he discovers that his two daughters have bankrupted his company and are living lavishly with his money.”
Shen Jiayan put down her glass, leaned onto Su Sui, and playfully touched her nose, “Then we have to put in more effort; we can’t let Shen Wenshan be too comfortable.”
Su Sui kissed her on the forehead, “What do you want to do?”
Shen Jiayan looked up, her eyes sly, smiling like a little fox, “Of course, it’s to give him a glimmer of hope when he’s most desperate, and then crush that hope completely.”
“Leave this to me,” Su Sui playfully tapped her nose, smiling as she leaned close to her ear and whispered softly, “I promise to let him taste what it’s like to fall from heaven to hell.”
The warm breath made Shen Jiayan’s ears tingle. She rubbed against Su Sui’s neck, nestling in her arms, playing with Su Sui’s fingers.
“I just love this insidious and vicious look of yours. And I love the feeling of having my thoughts seen through by your eyes even more.”
“I love your scheming nature even more,” Su Sui held her close, “Just don’t be timid and hesitant like Gao Wei anymore.”
Her voice was gentle and sensual, making Shen Jiayan unable to resist pouncing on her again.
Her lips moved back and forth over Su Sui’s neck, lips, and earlobes.
She repeatedly bit Su Sui’s skin, leaving a trail of ambiguous, damp marks.
“Su Sui,” Shen Jiayan suddenly stopped and gently bit Su Sui’s wrist, “Are you really decided on marrying me?”
Her voice was very gentle, like a feather brushing across one’s heart, making one feel tingly.
Su Sui reversed her grip, pinning Shen Jiayan’s hand, and captured her lips, her deep eyes locked onto hers.
“Mm,” she hummed softly, her tone resolute.
“Are you sure?” she continued to press.
Su Sui raised an eyebrow, “What kind of talk is that?”
Her legs were wrapped around Shen Jiayan’s waist, their bodies tightly pressed together.
Su Sui bit her neck, leaving a series of wet marks.
Her voice was slightly breathless, “Don’t you want to marry me?”
Shen Jiayan turned and kissed her lips, “I’m just afraid…”
Su Sui’s eyebrows shot up, “Afraid of what?”
“I’m afraid that if you move on to someone else in the future, you’ll deal with me the same way you’re dealing with Shen Wenshan,” Shen Jiayan said softly.
Su Sui chuckled upon hearing this.
“They say women in love are always overthinking. I thought only I was like that, but you are too,” Su Sui teased, “Don’t worry, I will never change towards you. After all, in this world, another wicked woman like Shen Jiayan cannot be found.”
“It’s good that you know,” Shen Jiayan mumbled.
She leaned into Su Sui’s embrace, closed her eyes, and quietly enjoyed the moment of peace.
Just then, Shen Jiayan’s phone rang.
She picked up the phone and answered, “Hello?”
“Sis,” Gao Wei’s voice came from the other end of the line, “Where are you?”
“We are at home, with Su Sui,” Shen Jiayan replied.
Gao Wei: “Okay then, I should be there in about half an hour. I’ll bring you a big surprise then.”
“You came to M City?” Shen Jiayan asked with interest, “What surprise?”
“Hey, Sis! I said it’s a surprise. If I tell you, can it still be a surprise?” Gao Wei whined playfully, “Just wait and see!”
After hanging up, Shen Jiayan raised her eyebrows at Su Sui, “Gao Wei is coming.”
“Mm. I heard,” Su Sui nodded faintly, her gaze without any ripple.
“She said she’s bringing a big surprise. I wonder what kind of surprise it will be?” Shen Jiayan propped her chin, gazing at her, her expression full of anticipation.
“I don’t know,” Su Sui shrugged, “It might be a fright; you better prepare yourself mentally.”
Shen Jiayan was stunned for a moment, “…What is in your head?” She rolled her eyes and looked helplessly at Su Sui, “Is it really okay for you to be such a jinx?”
Su Sui laughed softly, “This isn’t being a jinx this is predicting the future.” She pinched Shen Jiayan’s chin and kissed her.
Shen Jiayan glared at her.
“Since Gao Wei is coming, you are not allowed to scold me because of her,” Su Sui said very seriously, “I will get jealous.”
“….”
Shen Jiayan pouted, “I won’t argue with you; it’s because you are prettier than me.”
“Then thank you,” Su Sui hugged her and kissed her cheek.
The two had a lingering moment of affection when the doorbell rang.
