Obsessive Love, The Possessive Real Young Lady - Chapter 49
The next day.
When Shen Jiayan woke up, she was once again the only one on the large bed.
She groaned and tried to push herself up.
But her wrist felt as if it had been soaked in lemon juice so sore that she couldn’t exert any strength, causing her to fall back into place.
“What’s wrong?” Su Sui put down her book and came to Shen Jiayan’s side, helping her up by supporting her waist.
“My arm is sore.”
Shen Jiayan leaned back lazily, stretching her right arm out stiffly in front of Su Sui. Only the hand at the end hung limply.
Su Sui let out a light laugh and tapped the inside of her right elbow with her finger.
Shen Jiayan gasped, “Ouch!”
She quickly retracted her arm, trying to avoid Su Sui’s touch.
But Su Sui had already taken the opportunity to hold her hand and gently rub it.
“You were a chef all night, how did you get this sore?” Su Sui looked at Shen Jiayan tenderly, “Maybe I should be the chef from now on.”
“No way.” Shen Jiayan used some force to pull Su Sui into her embrace, “The chef must be me, and only me.”
Cutting off her words, she kissed Su Sui again, as if she could never have enough kisses, no matter how much they cooked together.
“Mmm Jiayan has things to do today. No, get up quickly.”
Shen Jiayan didn’t listen, instead pressing Su Sui down firmly, “I also have something urgent to do. Your stuff will have to wait.”
“Can’t wait…”
“I can’t wait either.”
Saying that, Shen Jiayan reached out and pulled open Su Sui’s collar.
Whether this action carried a hint of retaliation, she didn’t know, but the feeling of forcefully tearing the clothes open was truly exhilarating, absolutely fantastic.
Without the covering of clothes, Su Sui’s fair shoulders and collarbone were directly exposed.
A black les tightly encased her cleavage.
Shen Jiayan leaned down to bite the strap and pull it down. Before she could pull the other side, Su Sui pressed her forehead with her hand and asked, “Are your arms not sore anymore?”
Shen Jiayan felt that Su Sui asking this was utterly unnecessary.
A little arm soreness was nothing.
If she wasn’t enthusiastic about cooking, then the problem would be huge.
To show that she was capable, that she was fine.
Shen Jiayan suppressed the soreness in her elbows and vigorously swung her right hand, causing the air around them to make a whooshing sound.
“See, I’m up again.”
“Shen Jiayan… Mmm–”
Shen Jiayan leaned down and kissed Su Sui’s chattering mouth, “How dare you call my name! I’m telling you, no matter how many times you shout ‘Encounter’ today, it’s useless.”
She held Su Sui’s face and kissed her deeply, almost kissing every scar left on her body.
The kiss left them both soaked in sweat, sticky with other moisture clinging to their skin.
Three hours later at a street-side restaurant.
Su Sui glanced at Shen Jiayan sitting opposite her, clutching her wrist and tilting her neck.
She finally couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
Shen Jiayan took off her shoe, stepped barefoot onto someone’s tropical rainforest, and deliberately pressed down hard.
It wasn’t until Su Sui gave her a slightly strange look of pleading that she satisfiedly withdrew her foot.
Meanwhile, Gao Wei looked at Shen Jiayan with concern, “Sis, what happened to you? Did you get hurt soaking in the hot spring yesterday?”
It would have been better if she hadn’t asked. At this question, Shen Jiayan’s face instantly turned as red as if it were being roasted by fire.
“Mhm. I slipped in the hot spring yesterday,” Shen Jiayan casually deflected, “Probably just sprained it, it’ll recover in a couple of days. As for you, you ran off and left me alone yesterday.”
Although she was blaming her, her tone was filled with faint indulgence.
“Seeing you two reconcile completely,” Gao Wei’s lips curved into a slight smile, “I’m quite happy.”
But a hint of sadness unconsciously emerged in her voice.
Gao Wei quickly lowered her eyes and took a sip of juice.
Seeing her like this, Shen Jiayan felt very guilty inside. It was she herself who had taken the initiative to try and set Su Sui and Gao Wei up, and now she had made Gao Wei painfully retreat.
Wasn’t this equivalent to giving Gao Wei hope, only to have her crush it herself?
Shen Jiayan felt as if her heart had been violently stepped on. She frowned and pursed her lips, conflicted about what to say when.
Su Sui swapped the cut steak on her plate in front of her, “Don’t overthink it, Gao Wei doesn’t mean that about me.”
Gao Wei quickly chimed in to agree, “Yeah, I just have simple affection for Sister SuSui I just like being friends with her. Besides, don’t you already know, I’m not interested in women?”
Shen Jiayan: “…”
She looked at Su Sui. Su Sui’s expression was open and flawless. She then turned to look at Gao Wei, noticing her expression was slightly stiff, and she even secretly stole a few glances.
It seemed things were not as Gao Wei admitted.
However, things had already developed to this point. Even if Gao Wei genuinely liked Su Sui, she couldn’t be as selfless as before.
She could only let Gao Wei suffer a little, and once her ‘illness’ was better, she would definitely help her find the person she loved to spend a lifetime with. Thinking of this, Shen Jiayan breathed a sigh of relief.
After lunch, Su Sui rented a car, saying she would take them for a drive around the area.
Gao Wei glanced at Su Sui. Su Sui glanced back, then averted her gaze.
Gao Wei wanted to say something but swallowed it back.
The three of them drove out of the city towards the suburbs.
“Where are we going?” Gao Wei asked curiously.
“To the suburbs, to a castle. It’s said to have once been the residence of a certain princess from Country X,” Su Sui replied.
Really going to a castle?
Gao Wei didn’t believe it. After all, she had personally overheard Su Sui saying she would return her eyes to Shen Jiayan last night.
Although she understood Su Sui’s feelings, she did not approve of such a drastic action.
Gao Wei thought, her gaze drifting to Shen Jiayan sitting in the passenger seat. If Shen Jiayan knew that the person she loved was giving her eyes away, how much pain she would be in, and how much she would hate herself…
The more Gao Wei thought about it, the more distressed she became, and the sense of guilt in her heart grew stronger.
“Sis, it’s starting to hurt again,” Gao Wei’s voice came from the back seat. Shen Jiayan turned to look at her, “Did you bring your medicine? Take it quickly.”
Gao Wei pretended to feel in her bag, “I left it at the hotel.”
“Just bear with it for now,” Shen Jiayan said, then turned to Su Sui, “Let’s go back to the hotel. We can go another day.”
Su Sui glanced at Gao Wei through the rearview mirror. Their eyes met for a moment.
Gao Wei guiltily turned her head away.
Su Sui was then certain that Gao Wei was lying.
Although she was unwilling, she still turned the car around and headed back to the hotel according to Shen Jiayan’s wishes.
When the three returned to the hotel, Shen Jiayan helped the feigning-pain Gao Wei back to her room.
Su Sui watched Shen Jiayan rushing around, then looked at Gao Wei lying on the bed, groaning without illness, before coldly turning away and leaving the room.
She went into the washroom and sent a message to Mo Chenlin on her phone: [Can the time be changed? I’m afraid I can’t make it today.]
After sending the message, she waited for about 3 minutes.
Mo Chenlin replied: [Difficult, but I’ll try my best.]
Su Sui sighed deeply looking at the message. Mo Chenlin had found a private doctor for her, who only reluctantly accepted the surgery because he was short of money recently. Last night, Mo Chenlin had said the doctor’s attitude was already a bit wavering, and now with Gao Wei causing this disturbance, the surgery being postponed might make things even harder.
Su Sui’s head ached from thinking about it, so she simply returned to her own room to wait for news from Mo Chenlin.
Who knew she waited until evening.
Her phone rang. Su Sui picked it up and saw the number it was Mo Chenlin calling. She quickly answered.
Mo Chenlin: “The doctor said the day after tomorrow at 2 PM. If we cancel again, no amount of money will make him do it.”
Hearing Mo Chenlin say this, the worry in Su Sui’s heart finally settled, “Okay, we will definitely be there on time the day after tomorrow.”
After hanging up, Su Sui went into the washroom to take a shower.
She turned on the faucet, and warm water gushed out of the showerhead. The warm water washing over her body was so comfortable it made her drowsy.
She closed her eyes and enjoyed it for a long time before slowly opening them. Her pupils were pitch black, like the deep night sky.
She raised her hand to cover her right eye. Her right field of vision instantly went completely dark.
She repeated this a few times, and a smile appeared on Su Sui’s lips. The day after tomorrow, her cornea would be on Shen Jiayan’s eyeball. That way, it would be as if she and Shen Jiayan were truly merged together.
“You’re taking a shower without waiting for me,” Shen Jiayan’s voice sounded beside her.
Su Sui turned to look and was immediately cupped by the face and kissed by the other party.
The warm stream of water ran down her cheek, obscuring Su Sui’s vision.
She reached out to block the water flow and stared at Shen Jiayan with narrowed eyes, “What’s wrong with you? Aren’t you tired?”
“Who knows? I just crave you,” Shen Jiayan said, and then kissed her again.
She even pinned the other person against the frosted glass. She didn’t know how hard she pushed, but the hand protecting Su Sui was aching terribly.
However, the scent of books on Su Sui soon soothed the ache. This scent, mixed with the steam, was particularly strong, directly striking her heart.
Shen Jiayan’s heart raced, and she clung to Su Sui’s neck, taking a few more deep breaths. But it wasn’t enough to satisfy her craving.
“What are you doing?” Su Sui asked in confusion.
“Don’t talk while the chef is cooking.” As she spoke, Shen Jiayan bit down on the spot where Su Sui’s pulse was beating.
Su Sui clenched her fists in pain, hitting the glass with a loud clanging sound. Hearing this sound, Shen Jiayan showed no sign of letting go; instead, she squeezed the red jelly candy in her hand tightly.
After a long while, Shen Jiayan reluctantly let go, her mouth wet, like a greedy kitten. She dragged the red-eyed Su Sui to the mirror and told her to open her eyes wide and look at herself properly.
Saying that, she kissed her lips once more.
After an exceptionally intense ‘culinary competition,’ both head chefs collapsed onto the bed, exhausted.
Shen Jiayan played with Su Sui’s fingers. Sometimes she squeezed them, sometimes she interlaced their fingers, and sometimes she brought them to her lips to lick.
Su Sui let her do as she pleased, “Is Gao Wei feeling any better?”
“She took her medicine, she’s much better,” Shen Jiayan said, hugging her arm and lying on her side next to Su Sui, “She was already asleep before I came back.”
“Then the day after tomorrow, shall we go to the castle I mentioned?” Su Sui gently stroked Shen Jiayan’s shoulder, “When we get there, we can take more photos as souvenirs. Oh right, it’s by the sea too, and you love the seaside, don’t you?”
Shen Jiayan didn’t respond immediately. Instead, her expression carried a hint of apology.
“What’s wrong?” Su Sui sensed the abnormality in Shen Jiayan’s demeanor, “Why are you suddenly so quiet? Did I say something wrong?”
Shen Jiayan looked at her, hesitated for a long time, and finally said gently, “Su Sui… Gao Wei’s condition isn’t very good, so I plan to take her back to the country tomorrow. I’m afraid this trip has to end early.”
