A hurt expression appeared on Shen Baiyi’s face. “Sister, are you discarding the bridge after crossing the river?”

“What bridge after crossing the river?” Zheng Yao put on a stern face. “No more talking. You’re giving me a headache.”

“Headache?” Shen Baiyi seemed thoughtful but couldn’t resist asking, “Didn’t sister say you weren’t drunk? Why do you have a headache? Could you actually be drunk? Or are you feeling unwell?”

She seemed particularly fixated on finding out whether she was drunk or not.

Could she be planning to take advantage of her if she were drunk?

Zheng Yao waved her hand. “Go take a bath.”

She was buzzing around like a bee.

“Alright. If sister feels unwell, you must tell me.” Shen Baiyi withdrew her gaze in disappointment, took a set of pajamas from her suitcase, and just as she was about to stand up, the clothes were tossed back in.

“Didn’t you say your butt hurts?” Zheng Yao bent down and handed her a nightgown. “Wear this dress. Apply medicine after your bath, don’t wear pants.”

“Will sister apply it for me?” A smile returned to Shen Baiyi’s face.

Zheng Yao replied coldly and heartlessly, “Do it yourself.”

“Fine.” Shen Baiyi was disappointed again, taking her things and heading into the bathroom by herself.

By the time Shen Baiyi finished her bath and came out, Zheng Yao was sitting and looking at her phone. Seeing her emerge, she directly handed the phone to her. “Take a look at these places and see which one you’d prefer to visit.”

After saying this, she picked up her own clothes. “I’m going to take a bath first. Tell me later which place you want to go to and what food you’d like to eat.”

“Okay.” Shen Baiyi nodded obediently.

She sat on the bed and began carefully examining the scenic spots her sister had bookmarked.

Suppressing the urge to open the message, she exited to the home screen and glanced at the apps. There was a pink app showing two unread messages.

It was called LesLove.

Picking up her own phone, she searched for this app. After learning it was a dating app, her face grew even more grim.

After a long silence, Shen Baiyi finally opened her sister’s app. Fighting the urge to browse through the chat interface, she quickly scanned the profile, memorized her sister’s ID, and then promptly exited.

She searched for her sister’s ID in the app she had just downloaded.

It seemed her sister was quite popular. Dr. Zhuang liked her, those college students liked her, the local who taught horseback riding liked her, and even on LesLove, there were many people who liked her sister.

Shen Baiyi was still a bit too thin.

Zheng Yao instinctively thought that she might need to make some nourishing soup for Shen Baiyi when they got back.

“Sister, are you okay?”

Shen Baiyi’s warm breath brushed against the back of her neck.

“I’m fine!”

Flustered, Zheng Yao responded and tried to break free from Shen Baiyi’s embrace, but not only did she fail, the other person pressed against her waist. She had always been ticklish, so she shrank back from the touch and instantly went limp.

“Don’t move around, sis,” Shen Baiyi said sternly. “You might fall again.”

Zheng Yao paused, then grew a bit annoyed. “If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have almost fallen earlier!”

She was prepared to argue with Shen Baiyi, but unexpectedly, Shen Baiyi immediately apologized in a coaxing tone. “It’s all my fault. Don’t be angry, okay?”

Zheng Yao: “…”

Then why don’t you let go?

But clearly, Shen Baiyi had no intention of letting go. Instead, she held her even tighter and whispered, “Sis, I’m a little scared.”

“Are you trying to scare me on purpose?”
