My Possessive Boss Is Unexpectedly Needy - Chapter 35
Chapter 35
Yu Zining recalled Lu Yeyan’s words and that earnest gaze. Faced with a heart beating like that, it was something he would never be able to forget.
Lu Yeyan spoke up, “I want to know your answer, alright?”
This was Lu Yeyan—the bloodthirsty monster. When had he ever become so polite? Perhaps only when dealing with Yu Zining would one discover that this man was capable of tenderness.
However, the scene of Lu Yeyan and Li Ruixi together remained etched in Zining’s mind, leaving him torn. It was as if two voices were fighting inside him: one saying he’s a liar and not to be trusted, and another insisting that eyes don’t lie—that he was sincere. For a moment, Zining didn’t know what to do.
Lu Yeyan watched him with longing. Yu Zining kept his head down, his heart a battlefield of contradictions.
“A-Ning…”
“Enough! Lu Yeyan, who do you take me for? Fine, you want an answer? I’ll tell you right now: I… will never… like you!”
Yu Zining didn’t know where he found the courage to say those words. He was a mess; he didn’t even truly know what his own feelings for Lu Yeyan were. But seeing the flash of disappointment in Lu Yeyan’s eyes, a wave of immediate regret washed over him.
“A-Ning…” Lu Yeyan looked at him as if he had exhausted all the emotion he possessed in this single lifetime.
Yu Zining lowered his head and whispered, “Lu Yeyan, perhaps… you’re better suited for a girl. Stop wasting your time on me!”
This seemed to ignite Lu Yeyan’s temper. He suddenly pinned Zining beneath him, his eyes bloodshot. He stared into Zining’s face and hissed, “Man or woman, it doesn’t matter. The person has to be you. It’s not about external things. I like you because I like you, regardless of whether you’re a woman or a man!”
Yu Zining stared back in shock. He never expected Lu Yeyan to say something so bold—to follow his heart regardless of societal norms or “decency.”
Over the years, Yu Zining had perhaps forgotten what his own heart wanted. He had been forced to dress as a woman, forced to make a living in the shadows. So much of his life was beyond his control; he wished he could think less and live with more freedom.
“A-Ning…” Lu Yeyan murmured.
Zining felt his resolve crumbling. Lu Yeyan leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Give yourself to me one last time. After this, I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to do.”
The husky vibration of Lu Yeyan’s voice sent a shiver through Zining. The hot breath on his ear made his skin flush red, spreading from his ears to his cheeks.
Before Zining could even speak, Lu Yeyan’s kisses began to fall gently, his large palms exploring Zining’s body.
Sigh. Yu Zining wasn’t some saintly prude. Lu Yeyan was clearly in the mood, and given how these things usually went, saying “no” would be futile anyway. To avoid any “accidental injuries,” Zining slowly wound his arms around Lu Yeyan’s neck.
Beads of sweat broke out on Zining’s forehead. The space inside the car was too small; his hand ended up pressed hard against the glass window. Lu Yeyan’s large hand slowly covered Zining’s slender, pale fingers, their hands interlocking. They didn’t even notice the sky outside darkening as time slipped away.
Finally, Yu Zining sat back on the seat, draped in Lu Yeyan’s oversized coat. Lu Yeyan slowly pulled up his trousers, sat beside him, rolled down the window, and lit a cigarette.
Yu Zining looked at the used tissues scattered across the car floor and his ruined dress. He let out a cold laugh in his head. Typical Lu Yeyan. Such sweet words, such a tender gaze, but at the end of the day, he’s still a beast.
Lu Yeyan glanced at Zining, noticing the faint marks scattered across his chest. His lips curled into a smirk. He pulled on his shirt and moved into the driver’s seat.
“Lu Yeyan, where are we going?” Zining asked.
Lu Yeyan gave a seductive smile. “Home, of course. Unless my ‘wife’ wants me to take him somewhere else?” As he spoke, he turned to scan Zining, his gaze traveling slowly downward.
Startled, Zining quickly pulled Lu Yeyan’s suit jacket over his lower half. His lean, pale torso remained exposed—while Zining was thin, he was toned, and his “mermaid lines” were quite visible.
Lu Yeyan narrowed his eyes. “Nice body. Keep it up.”
He started the car. Zining leaned against the window, the cool breeze blowing against his face as he closed his eyes.
…
They arrived back at the villa shortly after. As Lu Yeyan prepared to step out, Zining called out to him.
“Hey! Clothes!” Zining lowered his head awkwardly.
Lu Yeyan smirked. “I haven’t forgotten. Your body is far too good to let anyone else see.”
Lu Yeyan got out, and a moment later, Butler Gu brought over a set of clothes. Zining changed into them hurriedly. When he stepped out of the car, he realized it was men’s clothing—not Lu Yeyan’s, and not his own old clothes, but something that fit his measurements perfectly.
Zining looked at Lu Yeyan in surprise. Lu Yeyan was already looking him up and down.
“I bought them for you. Do you like them?”
The fact that Lu Yeyan had bought him men’s clothing left Zining feeling overwhelmed.
Lu Yeyan added, “In our daily life, you should just be yourself.”
Yu Zining’s eyes suddenly welled up with tears. For so long, no one had cared if he wanted to pretend to be a woman, nor had anyone cared how much he longed to be himself.
“Aren’t you… afraid people will find out who I am?” Zining looked up at him.
Lu Yeyan’s gaze deepened. “So what? I told you, I don’t care what they say.”
In the past, Lu Yeyan had used Zining as a “wife” solely as a pawn in his business games. Now, hearing him say he didn’t care if Zining was discovered to be a man made Zining’s heart stir with emotion. Does he really love me? The thought made his face flush.
Just then, Gu Yuan rushed into the room, looking panicked.
“Young Master, something’s wrong! The Old Madam…”
Lu Yeyan froze and stood up abruptly from the sofa. “What happened to my mother?”
Lu Yeyan’s mother? Zining lowered his eyes. Although he had known Lu Yeyan for some time and they had even had a wedding, his mother had never appeared. It was said the Old Madam loved her freedom and would often travel on a whim, rarely staying at home. As for the wedding, she probably knew it was a sham from the start, which was why she hadn’t bothered to return.
